Another issue was the location, it say in a questionable area, so we thought. But we didn’t have ANY PROBLEMS! So that was a plus. Only 2 elevators and one was inoperable and the other was SO SLOW! The staff was very nice and accommodating. So if I had to rate this stay, I’d rate it a 7.5-8/10

I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit, and check-in was quick and easy. The breakfast had a good variety of options and was kept stocked. The outdoor pool was clean and provided a nice place to relax. The only downside was that there was some noise at times, and a few areas of the property could use minor updates. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would consider staying here again.

I love this hotel! My daughter and I stayed in a downtown hotel for most of our vacation but needed to move closer to the airport as our flight was super early. Kozy hotel was soooo much better and the bed was extremely comfortable… we both slept better than the previous hotel and home! Thank you! Next vaca we are staying here!

One of the elevators was broken, the smoke detector ran out of battery life and beeped the entire night for one night, the gym was closed for half of my stay, and there were issues with checking early and an agent fee added. The dark skinned female front desk agent was very helpful, the male staff present when I checked in seemed very incompetent. The location is also very far from downtown Houston, which is where I searched for and wanted a hotel stay at. It is at least 30 minutes from downtown, which makes me question why it appears in the listing for downtown Houston searches.

RaQuan did a great job working with me to get the right handicap room. My right foot is amputated so I need a “roll-in-shower” room with a seat and a removable shower head. The Day Shift did a great job reserving the right room too. The room and hotel is amazing. It’s just tucked into a weird spot. It seemed safe though.

They tried to charge an extra $35 just because we used a face towel! The breakfast was terrible, and even though I repeatedly asked them to refill the missing items, they insisted on not doing so. They had ridiculous rules and tried to nickel and dime us for everything for example, if you wanted an egg, it was an extra $10! I stayed for 3 days, and they didn't even change the lemon water at the entrance once; the water tasted awful by the end. The only good thing was the location. Other than that, I will probably never come back, especially since the staff was not welcoming or friendly at all.

For price, was well worth it though. Nothing major to speak of.

This hotel surprised me in a positive way. it’s about 40 minutes from downtown Houston, but when you walk in you feel like you’re in a higher priced hotel. The service was exceptional and the rooms were much like a Hilton or Marriott. Don’t let the low price full you, it is much better than a value priced hotel.

The staff was always hiding somewhere. There were always people hanging out in the front of the hotel that I don’t think actually stayed there. We had a homeless person followed us all the way up to our floor because the front desk was never there. The bathroom was moldy and the floors were dirty. Not really want I expected for a 4 star hotel.

We have requested during booking for higher floor but received a ground floor. My husband was too exhausted to remind of our request. Later, he went to the front desk and was helped by Krystal, I believe that’s her name. She was so happy to fulfill our request and moved our rooms! She was very friendly, professional, and very understanding.

The bed was comfortable. I booked a handicap room the first room was not handicap so they moved us and the room they moved us to was not handicap either. The frig was not working and there was no hot water. I was to have surgery the next morning, and the hospital gave me a soap to shower with so with no hot water I used a washcloth and didn't get in the tub. The soap was red in color but washed out of the wash cloth but some dripped on the towel. The hotel charged $ 30.00 for the soap that was on the towel. i

Place was fine. There were some lights between the bed that were not working and we could hear every time some closed the door. Also check in was not until 4 which I feel like is late especially since I’m used to it being 3 at other hotels. We got there a little after two and ended up having to pay an early check in fee which I have never had to do before but had no choice since we had a sleeping baby. Finally the fact that they charge $7 per person for food that’s included at other hotels is crazy. I could understand if it was something above and beyond the standard sausage, eggs waffles etc but nope it the same for an additional fee. On the plus side our hot water did work as I know that was something a lot of people mentioned they had an issue with it

The staff members were incredibly sweet, but sadly the rooms left more to be desired. The rooms were definitely dated, the tv didn’t work in my first room and once I was moved to another one my comforter had stains on them, and the towels had red mold on there as well. The snack shop was awesome to have. Overall, it was alright for a weekend work trip but I probably won’t come back.

This hotel was pretty nice to be honest. Unfortunately, we were placed on the first floor near the elevator so we could hear tons of foot traffic. The room itself was fine but there’s tons of white lighting - the lamps, the ceiling lights - all of it. Not a fan of white light at all! The staff was super nice and the lobby was always clean and smelled nice. I think this was an okay stay but could’ve been better with a different room.

Manager Krystal and CSR’s Frenchie, TJ, and Carla were amazing. During a horrible family issue where time was pressed and flights across the nation were needed, they made sure to provide the care and, most of all, the accommodations necessary for a great stay!

First thing that i noticed was the way it smelled in the entire building, omg, it smelled like they were burning candles, but it was the oils that were placed inside the vents, it was the best thing ever! Let’s also talk about how the customer service was amazing! She greeted me by name every time I walked in and that made me feel really at home! I can’t remember her name, but she checked me in and she was always there at night! Such a sweetheart! This hotel was very “Kozy” and comfortable. I actually like bright lights in my room when I turn on the lights for packing and unpacking, so that’s the only thing I didn’t care for, but once all lights were out, I slept great. That’s just my preference, it is called Kozy for a reason! This hotel was exactly 8 minutes away from my daughter’s place, and close to every thing, food, shopping, and the freeway! I can’t complain! I will be staying here this summer when I come back to visit. I never made it to the pool area because I did stay on the go and enjoying the cool weather in Houston this week.

We stayed 3 nights at Kozy Hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it.

The lobby was beautiful and very clean. Same for the other interior areas. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff we met were all very polite and attentive. We did not eat breakfast, so I have no comments there. The only negative, would be the landscaping. The grass needed to be cut and edged. Overall my wife and I were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel to others looking for affordable accommodations.

The hotel overall was nice; however, housekeeping services were not provided unless requested, and this was not communicated upon check-in. Fortunately, I had brought my own face cloths and towels, but my friend was charged an $80 cleaning fee for the face and shower towels, which was unexpected.

The room looked clean at first, but then we noticed how dirty the shower was and there was lint balls in our sheets. The walls were thin enough to hear conversations. The biggest disappointment was the lack of daily housekeeping. Even asking for a fresh set of towels was an extra fee. It definitely felt cheap.

I enjoyed my stay. However, it’s extremely inconvenient to have to park in the back and walk all the way to front to enter. I’m not sure if something is wrong with the key entry on the doors , but it’s a pain especially when the parking lot is constantly full in the front near the doors. Also I believe if you’re offering coffee in the rooms, water bottles should be included.

We checked in very late and the front staff was very welcoming. The first thing I noticed was how good the hotel hallways smelled. Everything was clean and neat from the lobby up to our room. I highly recommend this place and will book again in the future.

Room never had any cleaning done except when I went out of my way to request it. Shower pressure was horrible. Clean towels only on request. A bar with no drinks. Breakfast not complimentary

From the moment we checked in Friday, it was one issue after another. There was no hot water we had to wait several minutes just to get the water barely lukewarm every single day. When we called, they said maintenance was “working on it.” Hot water is basic. The TV didn’t work, the remote had dead batteries, and the phone wasn’t even connected properly. My husband had to fix the wiring himself. The bathtub was disgusting, I had to use sanitizer wipes to clean it before showering. The corners were filthy. Housekeeping doesn’t clean your room unless you request it, and there’s no clear sign explaining that. Communication is terrible. We weren’t told about pool towels and were stopped and told we couldn’t use the ones we had. Staff made a fuss before finally giving us towels. The back doors don’t work with key cards, and after hours the front door doesn’t either, the front desk had to open it for us. We ended up leaving and staying at La Quinta Inn & Suites, which was so much better,hot water, working TV, clean room. Worst hotel experience ever. Never again

The hotel is nice and clean. The room was clean and accommodating. There was an issue that occurred during my first night in the room and I ended up checking out early. However, when I brought the issue to the attention of management it was handled with care and professionalism. Crystal, the manager on duty, listened to my concerns and immediately offered options to try and rectify the situation including providing a refund for the two days remaining on my stay. I was impressed with how everything was handled. I would consider going back and giving the hotel another chance.

The room was super nice the hotel smelled good had a great sunshine feel to it. But the first day I got there I put on the intake form that I had a pet "Buddy Love" is his name. Ok so I told the lady when I had went down a bit later that asked me about him that I had checked him in I even put it on the check in sheet and that I have all of his paperwork from my doctor and his shots etc. from the county was there an email she wanted them sent to? she said o no as long as you know he is on the checkin. Ok so it was that next day another lady was at the front now standing with the same gentleman that had seen and known about buddy along with the other crew the day before .She says to me umm .. your dog ... he is not being charged for did you let anyone know you had a dog? umm yes maam I already went through this with the other lady that asked me yesterday and i asked if yall want his papers. Well my husband walking him at that point and she goes if this is your service dog you should not be letting him go to the bathroom with someone else. okkk really so I started to explain to her the difference in a service pet , and a emotional service pet. which is none of her business what is wrong with me nor the meds i take nor what when and why my buddy is my service pet. I told her that i could send the paperwork from my dr. and his cert and his records from the county. She said no.... ohhh k so the same night but now it is rolling into the 13th 12:50 AM .. WE come into the hotel buddy

The Kozy Houston North Staff was phenomenal very Welcoming, Professional and knowledgeable about what was offered in and near their establishment. Hotel was very clean; the staff ensured there was clean towels and inquired if I had a questions or issues often. Kozy does offer breakfast for a small fee of about 8$. The outside grounds were well maintained as well offers a gazebo and additional seating surrounding. The only recommendation would be for Kozy to add a small washer and dryer on premise; yet there are laundromats near the area about 4-7minutes away. The best part is that Kozy is directly behind a shopping mall a few restaurants, hair stores, Kroger’s, Dollar Tree, and a few clothing store like Ross, DD’s and 5 below. 10/10 KOZY I will be back.

Very beautiful water sports, I enjoyed my relaxing stay.

The hotel facilities are nice, very clean and comfortable. However, the hallway outside our room reeked of cigarettes and weed, and the staff said it was wafting in or being carried on the clothing of people going outside those doors to smoke by the pool. Not conducive to families with young children. A portion of breakfast was free, but hot options cost money. They did not inform me we had to request the room be made up, and we were given 2 towels for a reservation of 4 people, an empty tissue box, and we thought no extra toilet paper (but they stashed it in a closet). They said they were having hot water issues when we checked in and made sure we were in a room they knew did have hot water. We took this booking as part of an Expedia package deal with our flight -- not sure I would stay here again.

All the staff from the front end to the awesome housekeepers to the maintenance attended to all needs and were very professional and courteous. Rooms are in mint condition and very quiet and comfortable. Simply awesome!

I did not get to stay at this hotel, and it almost ruined my trip entirely. They were overbooked, and failed to inform me in a timely manner that I would no longer have a room for the evening. I was given a refund, but no form of compensation, nor were they concerned with whether I would have a place to sleep as a woman traveling alone.

Great value. Honestly you can't beat the price. The rooms were comfy and clean.

The hotel was very nice, and I loved how good it smelled when I arrived. Plants were beautiful, decorated beautifully also. However I can’t give 5 stars because there was some mold in the shower and the room smelled musty. I think it just needs some deep cleaning and perhaps a professional service to come in and take care of the musty smell from the AC unit. The cost at this hotel was cheaper than most but I’m wondering now if it’s due to some of these issues.

The room was very clean, updated, and tasteful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, and thankfully had an actual comforter on it. 10 out of 10. Will definitely stay here again.

I arrived after 10:00PM to the lobby of hotel after driving for 6 hours. The front desk attendant was very nice, educated, and resourceful. She asked me to fill out a form where I listed my vehicle, parked outside, and she proceeded to inform me about the amenities of the hotel, including the gym, and the pool schedule. She also offered me the choice of breakfast for $6.99, which I kindly turned down. I found the room cleaned,odorless, and spacious. I was very pleased with the room, the king bed is large, the sheets were white, clean, and fresh. The room furniture contemporaneous. The location of hotel is convenient because it is near local shops. The hotel was very quiet, and clean. The upkeep is modern, the hotel is well maintained.

Upon check-in the front desk clerk was friendly and polite. We were disappointed to find out the elevator was out of order and our room was on the 4th floor. We’re not young anymore so having to walk up to the 4th floor with luggage was not a walk in the park; Thankfully the elevator was fixed that evening. The room was excellent and we would definitely stay again.

Koby describes the hotel very well. This hotel was previously a Hilton and for the price it was such a great deal. We actually stayed 2 weekends in a row . Breakfast was a hit and miss for me. The bread did not taste fresh. They had no milk . With there being a krogers around the corner you would think they would go and purchase a gallon to accommodate their guest. Breakfast was 6.99. Service in the breakfast area in my opinion was unprofessional. Over all the place was well worth the stay. Laylay , Bernice and the evening team was very friendly and helpful. Side note the surrounding area feel a little un safe but all in all just check your surrounding. Bonus when I did my google review I got to spin the wheel . I won a free nights stay .

Hotel was nice but service was terrible - requested room cleaning and clean towels all 3 days in a row and never showed up. Bathroom was in need of repair - sink wouldn’t drain - shower door was stuck on the track. Noise down the hall was over the top all hours of the night partying and music blaring. Called the front desk 7 times and no answer went down and the clerk was sitting in the conservatory room! Breakfast was ok but no meat eggs and potatoes only. Clerk advised she’d have the manager in the morning at 7am contact me still have not heard back. Would not stay again!

friendly staff, clean property and the rooms are nice and cold if need be. the showers are easy to use and theres a review game you can play. however paying for hotel breakfast everyday and having a 100 deposit on top of paying for your stay is a little crazy. aside from that overall the hotel is pretty okay!

I was skeptical based off the reviews some people saying bad things. I’m from Chicago and I was actually impressed with the hotel. The Fourier smelled good. Customer service was good and the room was clean and not run down looking well. Kept had a room on the fourth floor, everything seem fine parking was easy And right across from the hotel is a shopping center for convenience.
