    Breakfast was excellent, downside would be not having syrup for pancakes or french toast, but that’s trivial. The cleaning lady was so nice, and really made the room more organized. I tried, but WOW, she did a great job. Two things, there was a bug on the floor in the bathroom, dead thankfully, and the alarm clock wasn’t working, and when moved it made a weird sound. We noticed the cords were exposed in the back, possible fire hazard, so we unplugged it and told the front desk. Other than that everything was great! If you are looking for a pool, stay elsewhere, this pool is tiny! Smallest pool I have ever seen. Kids still had fun, but it would have been nice to be able to join in as well.

    No toilet fan and Microwave. They also force customers to use valet parking and therefore charge an unnecessary $35 per day for parking. Parking fees are a scam. Every building permitted in the city of Houston must provide mandatory parking spaces for its occupants. Why should the occupants be forced to pay for parking ? The hotel does not do housekeeping on a daily basis. You have to request housekeeping. We did request housekeeping during our stay. They came cleaned, did not change the bed sheets, and left.

    HORRIBLE! I’ll never stay at this hotel again! My 1 year old son and entire family was bitten by bed bugs, my son had to go to the hospital due to how severe his bites were. And the only thing they offered me was $16 in credit! Don’t stay here.

    The not-so-good: check-in was slow, the desk attendant didn’t make us feel welcome. We booked a king room, got 2 queens instead. Air conditioner was noisy. Be aware that the only parking option is valet $33/ night, which wasn’t mentioned in Expedia info. You can get on and out as you please without having to pay additional fees

    The lobby is on the 3rd floor which was out of the ordinary… you come in to only elevators… I’m guessing it’s a safety precaution but very inconvenient for guests… especially if no-one is there to let you in initially. 1 elevator was being serviced during our stay… so we waited a long time for elevators. Breakfast was great! There were plenty of options and they served until 10:00 so that was a plus!

I want to start by saying that Qunia at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and the two ladies at the restaurant were also wonderful and welcoming also valets stuff so kind and helpful However, the rest of the front desk staff were not very friendly or accommodating. When I first arrived, I was told the hotel was completely sold out, including through third-party websites. But within a minute, I was able to find and book a room myself through Booking.com, which was confusing. A few days later, I asked about extending my stay. I was quoted $173 per night, but they only booked one night instead of the two I requested. The next day, when I tried to activate my key, I was told I didn’t have a reservation. When I asked again to extend, they offered a rate of $204 per night, even though I later found the same room online for $149. I ended up booking again online for about $175 with taxes. Another concern was housekeeping. I requested room cleaning two hours in advance, but they showed up after two hours, and they not done in right manner , I’m traveling with a baby, so cleanliness is very important to me. Also, complimentary water was only provided on the first day and was not restocked afterward. I also felt uncomfortable with how payments were handled. One staff member told me I could receive the bill by email, but later, another refused to activate my key unless I paid immediately. At that moment, my baby was alone in the room, and I didn’t have my wallet with me. I asked if they could activate the key so I could quickly return and pay, but they refused. I had to charge my phone first to complete the payment, which took extra time and added stress. As a guest extending my stay, I expected a more welcoming and understanding approach. Instead, I often felt treated with suspicion rather than hospitality. That said, I truly appreciate the kindness of Qunia and the restaurant staff, who made parts of my stay much better.

    I arrived at the hotel after days in ICU with my dad and then the day after he passed away. The staff was so helpful and made everything easy during my stay. Plans changed after my first night and the staff and manager took care of parking, checkout and more with such compassion. I appreciate how kind everyone was and that they even gave us an upgrade to a quiet room with a sunny view to cheer me up.

    We chose this hotel because of the price and proximity to the NRG stadium. It was perfect for a quick trip to the rodeo and back after the concert. Because of its location, we were able to stay away from all the rodeo traffic. I stayed with my teenage daughter and son. Our room had a king bed and a sofa pull-out. There was one pillow and two flat sheets for the pull-out, no blankets. Luckily, we had brought our own quilt, or my son would have frozen. The king bed was hard and had dips where people slept. The pull-out sofa mattress was very thin, and my son did not enjoy sleeping.

    Location I booked my reservation with Hyatt Regency through Booking.com. Somehow my reservation was changed to the Hyatt Place. When I told the agent at the front desk, her response was "It happens." The carpet in my room had stains on it and there were no small wash cloths in my room.

    We had to request daily housekeeping, as we were initially told the hotel only services rooms every other day. Since we have a toddler in diapers, we needed the trash emptied daily. The hotel accommodated this and provided trash removal, made the bed, and replaced towels—though we were missing towels (took the washcloth but never replaced) a couple of times, which was a bit frustrating. Valet parking is also on the pricey side at $33/day plus tax, especially for an area that doesn’t really require valet. We chose self‑parking instead, which is $27/day (without in‑and‑out privileges). However, if you park for fewer than 14 hours, it’s only $10. Overall, the hotel is a reasonably priced place to stay near the Galleria. The beds were comfortable and clean enough for a pleasant stay.

(smaller) with no discount.. then the key wasnt working… okay.. went to speak to them again.. front desk was rude.. sound like they could care less.. then got inside and the tv wasnt working either.. so got switched again!     Overall property and the rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel's achilles heal is with the valet only parking. The front driveway of the hotel is basically the entrance to their parking garage. Theres not a lot of driveway real estate here and so cars quickly pile up in the front waiting to get parked. When we came back to the hotel in the evening there were several cars parked in the street next to the curb with their hazards on. I suspect this is in part due to a lack of valet staff to move all the cars in a timely manner.

    However, the valet service needs improvement. The attendant spoke very limited English and couldn’t explain the parking or retrieval process, which was confusing for an out-of-town guest arriving late. Basic communication training would greatly help. It’s also inconvenient to pay separately for valet at a hotel. Elevators were slow, and the front desk didn’t mention that keycards are required for guest floors — a small detail that would prevent confusion. Overall, I wouldn’t discourage others from staying, but better communication and staff training would make a significant difference in the guest experience.

    This was a last minute trip, and first time staying at this hotel. This was an amazing place. The staff were absolutely amazing. The rooms we very well kept up on.     Absolutely absurd visit definitely will not return to this location nor will I recommend it to anyone that I care about. Very rude staff, all except Ruben. One night I called over 5 times without an answer. Another time I called and asked if one spoke English by chance I was told no that he only spoke Spanish and hung up in my face. I felt extremely uncomfortable at that point. I had a natural accident when I bled out on my cycle and was told that I would have to pay for the cleaning of the sheet as if I could have prevented it! My rooms was missing snacks l never got them replenished. Breakfast seems to be leftover food from the day before, all except for the omelette station. Just a terrible experience.

    When we had to check out but our flight did not go before the evening the reception staff was extremely nice and held our lugguage for us so we could spend a couple of hours exploring. We were very happy with our stay.

    Thank you very much! It's a great place to stay during a short trip. The room was clean and comfortable. However, valet parking feels excessive. It would be better to allow guests to park their own vehicles. Additionally, if the pool were designed more like a jacuzzi, it would be a great improvement. Currently, the pool area feels strange and not cozy enough.

    The couch in the room had many stains. They were clear and apparent. The light fixture above the couch needs dusting. The room just didn't smell clean, I was left wondering whether I had been given a room for pets. I am glad I only stayed one night!

    There is a mandatory valet fee that is almost $40 a day which is not listed on the Expedia website. We were put on the 12th floor (highest) in a room with AC that barely worked, the maintenance man had to come to our room twice. Instead of switching rooms for us they made us feel guilty for asking the problem to be fixed. The sheets/comforter were very uncomfortable and of poor quality. The hotel also smells strongly of weed in several places. Overall a bad stay and will not be back to this hotel when staying in Houston.

    Staff was excelent and breakfast was out of this world but hotel rooms can definitely use an upgrade in relation to the bathroom amenities. Looked old and the shower and towels looked overworked. My 1st room smelled like damp towels but concierge was quick to do right by me and switch me rooms immediately. Ive stayed at othher hyatt hotels on the north side of houston and the rooms were up to perfection. But overall i would stay at this hotel again and hopefully in the future their is improvement

    The day after i booked my room, I was contacted by email and was told that they ONLY have valet parking available and the price was $33. This hotel is not set up like other hotels that have an entrance where you can park and go inside to register. It's at a very bad location and conveniently for the owners, the only way to get in and park is where the valet is. It was so disorganized upon checking out. People leaving had to wait on other people who's cars had been brought out. The hotel was nice inside, however, the main reason I booked it was because it had a stand alone shower in the photos for this particular room. In reality, it had a bathtub with no shower hose. I'm handicapped so I can't get inside a bathtub. The breakfast was free, but unfortunately, the eggs were horrible, and the bacon was not the kind one would expect from the Hyatt. The waffles smelled like smoke and like they were burned. Same problem with the tater tots. I threw it all away because I couldn't eat it. It was a total disappointment and I fully regret booking this place. It's not what I would ever expect from a Hyatt.
