It was terrible experience, never again. Room smelled like an old basement, toilet dirty, carpet with stains, floor dirty and sticky. Entrance to the garage very dangerous, garage door hit my car, even though it says opening outward they should draw a line how far the door is opening. Especially when people coming to the hotel late at night, and it is hard to see how far garage door will go. My family and me woke up with terrible headache because of this smell at room. Paying 170 dollars for motel quality terrible idea. Please avoid this hotel at all cost. Terrible maintenance and they don't care about people, just money.

Nice suite. Comfortable bed. I liked having a fill size refrigerator with an ice maker. The elevator closest to our room was out of order. We had to walk a long way to the other elevator.

Nothing Window shades were so dirty and tattered I hated to put my hands in them to pull them down. The carpeting was dirty. The whole room was such a disappointment for a combined $220 stay. Paying for parking for what? Ridiculous.

It was very homey, very friendly staff, only thing that I didn’t like is on their policy it states they will come in to check it out no matter if you have a no not disturb tag or not, some time during your stay. That creeps me out. The breakfast was the same 2 days in a row, 3rd day, I ate some where else after that. I don’t have a pet/did not see or hear one. Great neighborhood you could walk to shopping plaza for basically anything you need. And the galleria mall was almost 10 minutes away driving or take the local bus $1.25 each way. Very safe never crowded.

Location was good, close to the galleria, NRG, and Toyota center. You pay extra for parking but it comes out of your security deposit ($25/night). Staff was friendly. Room was spacious, lighting dim but windows helped. I communicated with the hotel and requested early check in a week before my arrival since my flight changed, they told me I could pay an extra fee for it which I agreed to but when I got there the room was not ready. Since I stayed for 5 days they said it was required for housekeeping to come in and refresh my room at least one day, they never refreshed my room but did leave new towels on my sink.

- 1/5
The overall stay wasn’t a good one. The property was filthy. Carpet was dirty. The elevator had trash in it. The walls and floors to our room were dirty. I mentioned and nothing happened. The housekeepers just had the carts on the floors and sitting while they were chatting and eating the breakfast food. I would not recommend this place at all. Especially, holding the name Hyatt my expectations were ruined.

The elevator floor was sticky and gross. Sometimes there was a guy at the bar to open and sometimes there wasn’t. Our first room didn’t have a working TV. It was just a mess from the beginning.
- 2/5
They never cleaned the room or tried, didn’t vacuum the floors, take any trash, we had to keep asking for clean towels. There were things that were left in the room by previous guest like a fork and hair in the bathrooms. The pool was dirty! Definitely needs some updates! But besides that when we did speak to someone they were polite!
- 3/5
Overall it wasn’t bad but honestly I expected a little more from a Hyatt property especially in the Bellaire area of Houston. The staff were great. Helpful, friendly, no issues there. The rooms are needing a work over. More electrical plugs did not work as opposed to those that did. Some were so worn out that our phone chargers wouldn’t even stay plugged in. There was a black out shade in our bedroom window which was great. Problem is it that it was dirty and had so many stains in it. Made me wonder how?? We were on the driveway side so we got the service truck noise, people yelling/fighting in parking lot, and NON-STOP dogs barking. Our room and the hall just outside reeked of weed. Someone had been smoking weed the entire time we were there. Had a guest running through the parking garage in his underwear. As I said before people yelling outside but also very loud inside. Yelling/hollering for just “normal” conversation. Overall it wasn’t bad like I had stated, just could have been a lot better.
- 4/5
The bartender, however, was inappropriate and unprofessional to a coworker (not working in the bar) as well as to other guests waiting to order. Instead of attending to the customers (there was no one in the bar area with a drink in hand on 3 different occasions), he continued his obnoxious behavior for quite a while so my husband & I sat there in disbelief patiently waiting but ended up leaving. We grabbed a drink elsewhere, which was very disappointing because the main reason that we picked this property was because we enjoy having a drink in the evening, so we were looking forward to the bar amenities. This might seem frivolous, but we had even called the property before booking our room to confirm the bar would be open and their service hours.

The location was ok, it's on the outskirts of uptown, so everything was at least a mile away. The sheets had stains on them, and the coffee pot didn't work. The gym had ok equipment, but no hooks for the cable machine or attachments, so I couldn't use it. There was an empty water cooler and a closet of empty water containers that were never filled while we were there. There was a bar in the lobby, but it never opened.

Room wasn’t ready, I had to go back to front desk to switch another room. I was so tired after long flight and want to rest little bit before meeting. Go to a new room the curtains can not roll down for some reason I had to wait for technician come to fix. Pulled up the bed comforter I saw a lot of yellow spots then I called the front desk. They told me that is normal because they washed feathers comforter turned out like that. I have been in many nice hotels those comforters are not like that, just their excuse for bad services. The property is very poor conditions. I trusted Hyatt name but not this one. Don’t recommend to anyone. This is worst Hyatt property I have experienced.

I rated this BAD because I get a call 15 minutes from getting to the hotel saying that the air conditioner in the room was out and they were transferring me to a different hotel. I said it was fine that the air wasn't working, then she tells me that they can't get into the room because it was locked. The hotel we ended up getting to told us that the original hotel had over booked and they gave our prepaid room away.

Poor hospitality, was not welcoming, completely disrupted my Houston experience. The gym was flooded with water coming through lights in the ceiling and the staff was so not alarmed. and the toilet in the room was broken. All of these issues started on day one and not much changed during the remaining time of our stay. I plan to shar my experience on on social media.

Initially, the hotel staff seemed somewhat helpful, but the issues really began when we sought resolution. After the manager eventually approved a refund, we were still left with the ongoing stress of dealing with the aftermath. Now, a week later, the situation is even worse. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, this hotel staff and Hotels.com has been a nightmare to deal with. Every time we reach out, we’re connected to a different agent, and the cycle repeats. They’ve been trying to contact the hotel, but the property simply does not answer their phones. It’s an endless loop of frustration. In conclusion, while the initial response seemed helpful, the complete lack of follow-through and the ongoing unresponsiveness from both the hotel and Hotels.com is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding both the hotel and Hotels.com. This entire experience has been a stressful and infuriating ordeal.

There were a variety of breakfast options to choose from and the area was clean. The hallways and room were clean and comfortable. The room was supposed to be ready at 3, we arrived at 5:30 and the room was not ready. We were told it would be another 30 minutes. We had a concert we needed to get to, so we were rushing to get ready by the time we got our room. We were also given an inactive key so we had to waste more time going back down to the office and get a new one. When asked if there was any compensation for the inconvenience of the room being late in getting ready, we were told no, nothing was offered, not even a free night parking, snack, or drink.

The bed was so comfy, and the room was very clean. The kitchenette is wonderful. There were even pots and pans and a mini electrive stove. I didn't cook, but you would have everything you need to make a meal. There was plenty of parking also. The only thing that sucked was the blow dryer would only work outside of the bathroom, and it only had a low setting. I could have asked for a replacement, but I wasn't there much, and it was only 2 nights, so I didn't bother. Also, it didn't mention on booking.com that parking is $25/night. That's typical for this area, but part of the reason I chose this place was that I didn't think I had to pay for parking.

My room had not been cleaned upon check in on Thursday & remained filthy the ENTIRE five days, only my bed was changed. Mold in the shower, rust on the shower ceiling, the front desk staff did not ask for ID to give out addt’l room keys when you enter from the street at almost midnight. The district manager Francisco, doesn’t care whatsoever. No way this place is 3.9 stars. Worse than Motel 8, should cost $19.99 per night. My dog has stayed at better daycares. Signed, Tracie Bell.

The Hotel Restaurant was closed. We specifically book hotels with their own restaurants after a long day of travel so we don't have to go back out and eat dinner. The Hotel was dirty everywhere - Hallways, elevators, entry, parking garage etc. Looks like the don't own a vacuum cleaner. The breakfast was subpar. The Scrambled eggs were a giant block of egg and the fruit was brown and very nasty. This hotel doesn't deserve the name "Hyatt" to be associated with it.

Second, the hotel never disclosed the additional $25 daily parking fee. When I questioned it, they insisted a sign on the reception wall was sufficient notice, then threatened to tow my car and evict me. Overall, the property is poorly maintained, and the front-desk staff are unprofessional and rude. There are far better hotels in the Galleria area at the same price point—without surprise fees, unclean conditions, or staff who call the police rather than allow guests to speak with a manager.

I booked two rooms for a family trip, the room smells, one of the room was poorly lighted and they was heavy smell of cigarette and staleness in the air. The hallways were dirty and the carpets on the floor in the room looks like it’s not been cleaned for a long time. It looks extremely dirty and slimy. We could not stay in the hotel with my 11 months old and 7 yrs old kids due to the strong cigarette smell and sanitation level of the hotel. If you care for your safety and health, stay away from this hotel

The buffet was mediocre and they charge $25 a night for parking on the property so if you book through Travelocity and they say all fees included, it’s a lie

The room was disgusting as well as the facility. The ceiling had traces of mold and mildew. I went in the room to lay across the bed in the bedroom but the television didn't work. I went downstairs to speak with the attendant about it. While doing this my wife and daughter called and said that there were roaches in the room. I immediately packed up my family and left the facility within 15 minutes. This was a terrible experience for me and my family. This was not as advertised. I will be seeking a full refund. Thank you in advance.

The toilet seat was broken and we asked them to fix it while we were there for 4 nights, but that never happened. Breakfast was good, hot, and there was a variety of foods and drinks. I loved how we could park in the garage on our floor level and walk right into our floor from the parking garage. It felt like a little more private that way.

You did not advertise there is a 25 $ parking charge for a dirty hotel which one could go down the street for free parking and a clean room.

I will say all staff was very polite, professional, and accommodating. The hotel was well kept and smelled of fresh laundry throughout. I stayed in the one bedroom suite which is spacious and almost comfortable. When making the reservation I specifically chose a handicap accessible room as I’m an amputee using a Walker to get around. The disappointment happened when it comes to the bathroom. Just because the room has a walk-in shower doesn’t make it accessible. Just because that shower has a grab bar doesn’t make that accessible. When using a mobility device, there has to be enough room for you to get in close the door and turn around and in my particular room, I found going to the bathroom and in the shower very frustrating because there wasn’t enough room to open the door with the shower door open and toilet in the way… the struggle was real. Because I was only staying one night I didn’t make it an issue. However, I would advise your staff to really be aware of the requirements of the Americans with disabilities act entails to truly make it an accessible space. Being able to turn around in the bathroom is important and being able to do that and being able to close the door for privacy is kind of a big deal. When a disabled guest arrives (especially those using a mobility device walker, scooter, wheelchair ) and has requested an accessible room it’s not just one shower rail that we need. A roll in shower with multiple handrails and space to maneuver is what’s necessary.

The pool was closed that was the main reason for choosing this place. The pictures compared to real life was nothing like it. The comforters in the room both beds had mold in the inside. If you lift the comforter up you can see the black in there. I will post a picture. I have asthma and could not sleep in the bed. I slept on the floor. I definitely do not recommend this place. The breakfast was ok nothing to wake up for.

When I first booked this property, I thought it had direct relation to the Hyatt. It may just be a subsidiary because it wasn’t Hyatt standards. In my opinion. I gave the property this rating because. The level of cleanliness was not pristine the paper towel towels in the kitchenette were dirty on the first couple sheets, the area above the shower was not clean, and just look like everything could use a shampoo and wipe down once more. Also, my TV did not work m. However I will say the beds were clean, orderly and very comfortable.

Hotel was nice. Not far from the mall and plenty of restaurants. Location is very convenient. Breakfast options were good. Pool was nice. Only downside is parking. I don't understand why parking is $25 per night when you're a guest at the hotel. It's literally attached to the building.
- 5/5
Should be more people accessible

I've stayed here twice. Minutes from the Galleria. I love that it gives the luxurious feel and comfort however there are some spots that could use a little bit of love. The microwave was difficult to operate. There was no Channel guide for tv and when i pressed the info button it was blank. I was told there were none available when I asked. There was also no notepad or pen, I like to write things down especially when there are several places Im researching in the area. Little things matter. I think paying $25/night to park is ridiculous when the gate was never closed and anyone could get in. There is nowhere else to park so there's no choice.
- 4/5
Immediate response when the garbage disposal was reported not working. In general, perfect and recommended place to stay taking in consideration the price for that area. Definitely I will stay there again if coming back to Houston.
- 3/5
It’s an older Hyatt they hide the smell of mold with a fragrant perfume. The room was spacious but the air conditioning wasn’t working it stayed 73 in the room and there wasn’t great ventilation . When the bathroom light was on the ventilator was also on and it’s noisy sounds like it may fall from the ceiling. The room was spacious we did have a kitchenette the bed wasn’t terrible nor was the couch. The floor was uneven but they offer feee breakfast and the pool was open. Not the best not the worst air was the main issue for us oh and the housecleaned coming and knocking on the door at 9 in the morning hours before check out.

The carpets need changing. The kitchenette was all set up with dishes and silverware. I’ll stay there again.

Quiet neighborhood just next to the Galleria area. Seemed very safe and was convenient. The building itself needs some maintenance. One of only two elevators was not working and the staff seemed to be unaware although it had to be obvious since staff used the same elevators as guests. No signage or instructions placed to direct to second elevator at opposite end of building. Mostly garage parking with limited outdoor parking for larger vehicles not mentioned on website. We made it work, but it would have been nice to know. Would stay here again.

The stay was okay it could have cleaner and updated. The tv in the bedroom looks like it is going out.
- 2/5
Arrived at check in time and there were no rooms available. Had to wait about 2-3 hours just to get into our room. The room was nice but was only given one towel. Service was definitely lacking.
- 3/5
Upon check-in at 3 pm I was told that there was no available clean rooms. I did not get a room until 7pm. Then upon check-out the receipt I received said one price but my card was charged an different price. When I called the hotel and asked it they didn't know what I was talking about.
- 4/5
I called day or 2 for early check in. They said it would be ok since it was only 1 hour earlier. Needless to say room wasn't ready. 1 person working the desk. Metallica was in town .
- 5/5
Very good stay would do it again
- 5/5
It was lovely

Property is clean, as already reviwed, $25.00 parking fee per night, but offers a convenient access to the rooms. Bed are not comfortable especially for side sleepers. Woke up with sore shoulders.
- 4/5
The only thing we didn’t like is that we had to pay to watch tv they had no remote and we had to download an app to be able to watch tv
- 5/5
Love the room as it feels like home.

This is definitely the place to stay when in Houston’

The room had a horrible order, we were going to go to the Hyatt place but the cost and changing was two much so My wife had to endure it for a week, cost changed once she got there along with a 25.00 per day deposit, crazy for a dump like this

Property was outdated, room lighting very dark. The shower took 10 min to get even lukewarm water. Would not walk around the surrounding area as a solo female.
- 4/5
Stay is ok
- 2/5
not very clean. Men's room on ground floor had used toilet paper on floor for at least 2 days--disgusting. Breakfast was fair. Overall, not at all like experience I have had at other Hyatt branded hotels, especially not the experience I have had at other Hyatt House hotels.

Horrible
- 5/5
I really liked the hotel. The room was comforfable and well laid out. Ine touch I appreciated was the lighting. The lamps had warm lighting. Often hotels have the brightest bulbs in lamps which wear on the eyes. There was also a nice, large, L-shaped sofa. There was a great division between the living and sleeping area. And, the kitchen was well equpipped. Another nice touch was the mirror with coat hooks at the door. The suite was really comfortable for long-term stay. Last my room faced a larger internal court with the pool; that made it nice and quiet during the night.
- 4/5
The staff was great. The breakfast was okay. The rooms were pleasant
- 5/5
Nice!
- 1/5
Didn’t know this was a none smoking property, I was kicked out only after being in the room a hour. And was rudely asked to leave
- 3/5
The parking garage was a little rundown and the area was alright. The actual location was conveniently located in the “middle” of Houston.
- 3/5
Elevator not working so you had to use another one that was kind of far. Breakfast was not refilled. Room not so clean.
- 2/5
The property had some issues the carpeting was torn up in the room, TV had light spots, and the overall feel was rundown and grungy.
- 1/5
The property needs to be renovated asap. This was my second visit and my last. This hotel has created some amazing memories for my friends and family.
- 4/5
The beds were super comfy
- 2/5
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The staff did their best to keep the place clean, however the whole hotel had a moldy smell, spoiled and discolored carpet, holes in the ceiling, chipped paint, cracks in the mirror, weird tv placement, and chicken bones in the fire pit. Overall the stay wasn't pleasant and I didn't feel comfortable the whole time I was there. This place needs major renovations done. I would never stay at this location again.
- 3/5
The Galleria Mall is within walking distance. The elevator was broke the whole time I was there. It took 6 hours to get fresh towels.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay will return
- 2/5
Elevator was down, food was not great,
- 4/5
Great hotel with comfortable bed and clean room. Could use some updating but overall not bad. Breakfast was overall good choices, but would also like option of pastries/donuts. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
It was a great stay. The front desk persons were nice, however the parking garage was a hassle…the card would stop working and the gate lifted towards you possibly hitting the vehicle while going up.
- 2/5
Them pictures of the roaches. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
- 5/5
Nice location
- 5/5
Always Enjoy staying at this property!
- 4/5
For an old Hotel it's clean. The rooms are large with kitchenette. My only issue is the constant running toilets. It's kind of loud and I've stayed in 2 different rooms or 2 different floors. It's decent if you just need a clean safe place to lay your head.
- 3/5
Not enough hot water
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful, amenities were as mentioned. Breakfast was great, variety of food changed daily. The hotel itself was severely outdated. The furniture in the room and tv were older than I care to mention. Too out dated for the prices. It was scratched and worn. TV’s were so old the pictures were fuzzy. And that is solely the reason this place is over priced.
- 4/5
Over all the place is nice, especially the rooms.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. Big room ! Great location near everything
- 3/5
We changed room, cause heater wasn't working, and the other room they gave us, had the same issue.
- 3/5
The property condition is poor. One elevator does not work. The room general condition is old and rusty, the blinds were broken. Room size is big and clean. The price is fair but in general it needs maintenance.
- 1/5
They don’t have sheer curtains in any of the rooms and I couldn’t have the light coming into the room without other people being able to look into my room. It was the Deplorable they put me in the worst room possible that was having the headboard of the bed right against The elevator shaft and they put me there even though I asked them for a quiet room consequently, they found another room in spite of them saying they didn’t have anything available after I complained from not being able to sleep all night because the elevator was fine up and down all night long if I move me to a different room and they wouldn’t do anything to help with the discomfort I let them know right away as soon as I get into the room that that was not going to work out for me in spite of my expressing my concern eventually, they put me from, but they were not willing to compthe night. I will never stay there again and the first thing that they asked me when I showed up was what was my reason for visiting Little Rock was it for work or pleasure? I think that is something that it’s none of their business I have never been asked that question it is so intrusive
- 3/5
Fridge was loud while I was sleeping. Slept horribly as a result. Issues with their key cards as well.
- 5/5
Very quiet
- 4/5
Good location, poor hotel conditions.. The furniture is kind of old
- 5/5
The property was beautiful. It was a nice duck off in plain sight. The rooms were spacious and very accommodating. The only thing was there was paid parking in the garage $21 a night and I wasn’t aware but it was fine. The parking garage made me feel safe. I would definitely revisit.
