I was very disappointed in my stay. First off, when booking, there was two options in the photos and I chose the option photo with a walk in shower, however, the room I got had a tub/shower. The room was out dated and small. Bed was not comfortable however the pillows were. Not a quiet night as I could hear the highway noise all night. The room itself didn’t feel clean but maybe it’s just because it was out dated. Truly disappointed and will not stay here again. When I was checking out the guy was super nice, so I guess I can give an a+ for the staff. But that’s about it. Book elsewhere

It was close to William P. Hobby Airport, and thankfully, they had a 24-hour check-in system that accommodated my late-night flight. Late at night, there was no way to get drinking water within the hotel, as the water purifier was powered down. Additionally, I noticed black mold debris flaking off from inside the sink and the toilet bowl.

I received some of the best hospitality I’ve had in a long time at my stay. Colin checked us in and was also our driver to the airport - he couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Very much would recommend staying here if you get the chance!

A very beautiful and clean hotel. Located between Houston and Johnson space Center great location. Although did overcharge me when I’ve already have paid months ago. Had to wait five business days before I got my money back.

Clean well maintained quiet room for my one night stay. Staff was very friendly. Right off the freeway, convenient parking, but there is really not much around the area - car needed to access food options.

We Found a Huge Water bug in Our Room and Called Guest Services and The Manager Said He Would Ta in e Half Off of Room that Day, But He Lied and Talked with 2 Others Front Desk Management Nothing was Resolved. Collin, The Front Desk Associate from Sunday Morning was Really Unhelpful. All in All, nothing was taken care of.

Staff were great. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. People in room next to us kept us up all night with noise. Called desk to report but it continued all night along with kids screaming in halls.

Ac was turned down to like 64 and it would never get fully cold it should’ve. Probably not even 70 in the room after turning it down. I like to sleep cold

Room was dirty, AC vent super dirty, still trash on the floor when I checked in, sheets were old and dingy, the bathroom door knob didn’t even work. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

Room service/ grill experience was not as pleasant as hoped. Spend your money on the burgers; because the sea bass was not sea bass.

The gentlemen that checked me in was so helpful and nice. The hotel looks exactly as pictured and the rooms were nice and clean. No complaints for my overnight stay.

This is the second time I've stayed at this airport. There's a reason why flight attendants and pilots stay here. The shuttle is reliable, and the staff goes above and beyond. Charles, the manager, was especially helpful during the stay. I forgot deodorant and was provided complimentary deodorant. We are also moving internationally and had 6 large bins/suitcases, 2 smaller suitcases, and 2 computer bags. The shuttle couldn't fit all of our luggage and the other passengers, so Charles got into a shuttle and they ended up taking two shuttles to the airport to get everyone there on time. I will definitely be staying here again. My only complaint is how expensive the drinks are at the bar. Thanks, again!

My reservation was not honored. I reserved a king bed and was given a room with 2 queen beds. Staff told me they didn’t have anything else and that because I booked through a third party I should have been told through them because they inform the third party they can’t guarantee a certain reservation. I wasn’t informed until after I went to check in the room! The restroom was not clean and had rust stains around the tub. I have stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoyed my stay and never had this issue. I’m not sure what changed but it was definitely not a pleasant experience for me on my anniversary!

I have to say I was a little unimpressed being that we booked the studio suite and in the pictures and description it says it is a 1 bedroom and shows a bar area along with a separate living space. This was not the case at all, the room was rather small and when I asked the front desk he stated the pictures shown for that hotel room is actually for their presidential suite. It was definitely misleading and if I would have known I would have booked with a different hotel. Besides that everything else was fine but the pictures and description is very misleading.

When I was assigned a room, I felt it had been occupied by a smoker. I went to the lobby to request a change and was accommodated immediately. I really appreciated that level of service.

Under amenities it said there was an in room washer & dryer which we were excited about and were counting on. Found out that was not the case. Glad there was laundry facilities, but was looking forward to the convenience of it in room. Only one washcloth in room with 2 guests. Saw housekeeping in the hallway asked for a washcloth, she had to use translator on phone in which she said will have one sent to room. Never got one before check out. Otherwise, beautiful hotel, clean, and a pleasant stay. Airport shuttle was nice to have.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Houston Marriott South near Hobby Airport. From the moment you walk in, the hotel makes a stunning impression. The atrium is absolutely gorgeous — open, elegant, and beautifully designed. It truly feels upscale and welcoming, and the overall beauty of the hotel makes it perfect for both a romantic getaway or a relaxing weekend stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the entire property felt polished and inviting. The atmosphere in the lobby and bar area was lively but still classy. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with a breathtaking atrium and a wonderful ambiance. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Houston area! The only minor inconvenience was that the elevators were running very slow during our stay. However, this was clearly due to a large conference happening at the hotel — which speaks to how popular and well-run this property is! It definitely wasn’t a fault of the hotel staff, and they handled the busy atmosphere professionally.

Location, cleanliness, and Staff Icemaker didn’t work on my floor or the adjacent floors had to go all the way downstairs to get ice. There was like an opening from the bathroom into the bedroom like on the top of the wall so when you took a shower, the steam came into the room, which made me cough a lot. I felt like it was mold in the room somehow although everything was really clean.

Customer service was ok During the entire stay we didn’t have any hot water. Had to call multiple time to get extra towels. We ended up having to walk down ourselves. This was not a pleasant stay considering the price paid for the room.

The bathroom was not very clean. Dust on the floor and I highly doubt it had been cleaned. I found several hairs in the bed sheets. We only had to stay one night thankfully.

Personal hotspot that I use fer security reasons dd not work in the lobby, whereas it worked fine in my room. Hotel guest WiFi in the lobby dropped out. Breakfast choices were the same every day. M-Club business area was only bookable for the whole stay, not for individual days.

The airport shuttle was right out the ground transportation door at Houston Hobby - super convenient. The breakfast buffet was excellent - real eggs, lots of choices, and coffee and tea served at your table.

Yeah, a short stay from about midnight to 7 AM. The airport shuttle was efficient and the restaurant bar are open till midnight. So if you arrive late, you can still get something to eat. We will stay at this property again.

But of course, beggars can’t be choosers. The hotel room was not clean and was nowhere near as modern as it made itself out to be. The main lobby and foyer of this hotel was very beautiful but, that beauty just about ceased once we opened up our room door. The first room we were received in no way mirrored the room we booked. It was old, the bathroom grout was black/brown, and the caulking was falling off the walls. But most notably, It had a broken door lock. The second room we were received, in place of the first, had a rotten odor coming from the filthy shower and the adjacent wall. We will not be staying here, or any other hotel, again. Airbnb it is from now on.

The building was beautiful, the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the buffet was well put together. It was nice to see the building from afar when driving because traffic was horrific the weekend that I visited. I plan to stay at this hotel every time I’m in the Houston area.

I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel as part of a family visit.

Cons: Bathroom lighting wasn't good, toilet flush was poor with after running water and sink water disbursed very low. Dining for dinner on the first night was a fail with a Caesars Salad with Grilled Chicken that came out full of unrequested full lettuce leaves. Causing it to be sent back for proper chop and dice. Pros: The Marriott Burger is defiantly worthy to dine on. Checking out was a breeze. When back in Houston this Marriott will be first choice for me.

Upon arrival at the airport I used the hotel’s shuttle service. Then again the next morning to get my rental car. Overall a nice hotel with a large atrium design. Breakfast was an extrA $20/pp but worth it (large buffet). Hotel staff was good and friendly. Many ice machines on various floors were not working so it took a little searching to find ice. I would definitely stay there again.

The offer was free breakfast!! And that was all the effort the front desk made. The engineer was nice and told we had too move to front desk. He offered to pull the bell hop with luggage.The pick up at Hobby airport shuttle was fast, once he knew he had to be at the airport. We had to call front desk for services for shuttle multiple times by many members staying at this hotel...to come and get several of us that were waiting.

This was my second time at this facility. I was appreciative of the upgraded decor of my room, the convenience of the free shuttle to the airport and a friendly staff.

Everything there was excellent from the shuttle driver to the bar attendant. The room was clean and spacious.

I'm an old guy with a knee that's need replacing. I went into the Marriott to check in and the person at the desk decided to take the old broad (younger than me) behind me first. I told her I didn't realize my cloaking device was on and she half-ass apologized. After checking in, I found that there was a shortage of luggage carts; I didn't wait long, but still it seems to me that with over 300 rooms in the place--none on the first floor--they would have had more than 3. I was initially sold on the ad that stated the rooms were soundproof. What they didn't say was that they are room-to-room soudproof; not from the outside. There is a limited-access highway there commonly referred to as Dragway 52. Ugly if trying to sleep. On check-out on Sunday, there were no carts again (we waited for an hour along with others). Management's response was, in so many words, s**t happens. (There were some folks there who attended the same wedding as us and they helped us get our stuff to the truck. Many thanks to them. They were friends of our children.) Hell, I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member, but won't be back.

I got put in a room with queen beds even though i reserved a king bed. Also the AC wasn’t working in the room and front staff was unhelpful and i was not able to sleep at night bc of how hot it was. Terrible experience

Didnt visit the gym, got my steps walking the floor, good on my knees due to the carpeting.

Clean room, Gym and pool. Very upscale vibe for an affordable cost! Would recommend to anyone to enjoy a stay here!

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Concerned about my satisfaction and my check in experience. Although the area around the hotel has industrial aspects and is dark, the security guard that met me at the front entrance was kind, polite, and he made me feel welcome and safe. The parking area is fenced which also provided a sense of security. Rooms are clean and modern. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay for one night, three rooms with family.

45 minutes later, a second staff was still not able to find my reservation, however she was helpful and got a manager to assist me. The whole ordeal took over 1 hr to check in.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, it’s just the room I had was extremely hot and I told the receptionist and she sent the maintenance man to my room very quick, he said he fixed it but it was even hotter. The next day I told her again and she changed my room. Overall it was very neat, very quiet, very classy and very understanding.

I live in Nort Houston and had a flight out of Hobby early and thought it would be good staying close to airport. After i checken end around 11:30 pm, there was so much noise with people at thete common area well after what a hotel like yours should allow. I and i bet i was mot the only guest that could not fall asleep. I finally called the front desk at 2:30 am to get the noise recognized by front desk. They took care of it but it should of not come to this. Last time i would stay here.

The only restaurant at the hotel was quite expensive.

In general the property was good, however, there was non in-room dining post 11:00 PM and that’s not something that I’d expect from a brand of this stature.

Our flight was delayed several times. So we missed the whole over night stay. By the time we arrived it was the next day after checkout. I did request a refund or a different night to stay but the manager would not honor any compromises.

I will come back.

Only two elevators and both were not working at checkout. Our room was not ready when we arrived, someone was adding late checkout time and the earliest it would be ready was after 5:30pm. There was a Pokémon card convention happening in the lobby, the area was messy and vendors were openly arguing and fighting about products next to the check-in line.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Especially the staff who checked me in after 2am due to a flight delay. She was patient, helpful, and very understanding.

The bed was all but on the floor. A thin matress on plywood. No box springs. Very uncomfortable and woke up sore both nights. When checking out, the staff did not provide a receipt. Asked for on and she said it would be emailed. Never arrived.
