    My stay at Houston Marriott North was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my visit. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making check-in and check-out quick and hassle-free. My room was spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated the convenient location and the quality of the hotel's amenities. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations, and I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the Houston area.

    FOUND COCKROACHES and SPIDERS IN OUR ROOM. IF YOU BOOK ON A DIFFERENT WEBSITE, AND YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER, BE CAREFUL. FRONT DESK DOESN'T LIKE IT WHEN YOU BOOK ON OTHER WEBSITES LIKE EXPEDIA, TRIVAGO, etc. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. From the moment I checked in, the staff seemed annoyed and RUDE because I arrived later than expected. The front desk has an attitued tone since I walk in. To make matters worse, the room was not clean. We found both a COCKROACH and a large SPIDER in our room. I HAVE PICTURES to document this. The security guard was RUDE. When we returned to the hotel around midnight, he had blocked off the well-lit side of the parking lot and insisted that I park in a dark area where I did not feel safe. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, I was told they could not help me and that I needed to deal with the security guard myself. The next morning, the front desk employee was rude when I called to ask about breakfast and seemed irritated that I had booked through Expedia. My mother was treated poorly as well when she went to get breakfast vouchers. My family has been visiting North HOUSTON for over 12 years, and we have stayed at many hotels in the area. This was easily the worst experience we have had. Between the rude staff, cleanliness issues, and parking situation, we will never stay here again. I can say that the hotel bar seemed to be popular.

    Had a very nice stay at the hotel as we were there for a church conference within the hotel. I had one big issue however, it was a overnight staff person I think his name was Jason and he was so rude and very unpleasant, He did not want to help and would talk to other people as we were asking him questions. When we asked for his title he stated "Overnight Person", He was very rude and he left a bad taste in my mouth about your establishment. If I had to work with him again, I would never return to your hotel though I loved the stay. He is terrible and it was multiple people downstairs while we were speaking to him that also saw his terrible demeanor.

    Expedia does not tell you this is not the Marriott at the airport, it is several miles away by shuttle that does not seem to keep to any reliable schedule. The room was noisy, road noise and drunken guests in the hallway at 3 am, and had seen better days. On the plus side the restaurant is reasonably priced, the staff was helpful. So not terrible but nothing great either.

    It starts at the front desk, staff was friendly and helpful. Next comes your room, clean, comfortable bedding. I don't sleep well most of the time, but found myself waking up after sleeping through the night. The end is where you began, the front desk, where you are asked about you stay and offering is there anything else can help with.

    Some staff were nice however i couldn’t shower like i usually do. The water was way too hot i requested maintenance 2-3 times. No room change no follow up requested to speak to manager she said it was taking care of. Which was not true. Not worth it.

    The location is a clean and updated well appointed property with minimal fan fair. Convenient to airport with complimentary shuttle. Polite staff and abundant security. Breakfast is a wonderful selection accompanied by attentive staff. The pool was the highlight with long hours, needed cleaning. Unfortunately no microwave in rooms and bathroom is cramped. Water was sufficient but did not get hot. Room is nice but decor lacks imagination and feels cold. Price was acceptable considering the FIFA increases.

    Property is undergoing parking lot replacement at this time! So there was one entrance and exit available for hotel shuttle, guests and Ubers (or other ride share) however it was easy to access for our drivers. We visited for one night to go to a concert in downtown houston and had planned to fly out early next morning. Check in is normally 3 pm I believe but since we landed and got to the hotel around 9 am I figured it didn’t hurt to ask if a room was ready and available. The front desk / guest services was very accommodating and helpful with our situation. She got us keys and thoroughly explained wifi and other hotel ammenities. ☺️ we felt the room was very clean and building itself was safe. Next time I do hope to check out the downtown location for more nightlife activities! Houston Texas baby! Thank you for a great weekend. Also side note, if anybody gets hungry there is a whataburger open 24 HRS just a short 10 to 15 minute walk up the road. Side walk available but be cautious as it’s beside the parkway. Slight judgement felt when I corrected the front about what room we booked (a king) instead of their assumption of it being a double. But I didn’t take too much of that personally.

    Excellent fresh breakfast with good variety and really welcoming and friendly staff. Room towels - 2. 4 would have been perfect. Electrical outlets at bedside didn’t work but otherwise an excellent hotel with good flight connections. More towels and maintenance on bedside power outlets.

    I did not have breakfast. The location (as far as where the hotel is physically located) was great. The overall appearance of the hotel was unkempt. The lobby was more like a nightclub - loud, profanity, half-dressed women etc. It was bad. The language on the site does NOT match what is. I reserved a King Concierge room, but received none of the benefits associated with the room. I was told that I needed to meet a certain level to go to the lounge - which is where I was supposed to receive a hot breakfast and evening drinks/snacks etc. There were no robes & slippers as advertised. There was one tiny bar of soap and none of the amenities normally associated with Marriott. When we inquired about the robes, we were told that this particular location did not offer them. The stay was awful and if we had not been so tired, we would have just checked out and taken the financial loss. I'll never stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone.

    There was no hot water when showering and it was very difficult logging into the wifi, the standard marriot log-in didn't work so needed a code from front desk but that also didn't work the first few tries, eventually it did work.

    1 good thing……that shower was awesome. The water pressure was amazing and the temperature was just like I love it…….boiling hot. The hotel looks good from the outside. The lobby is beautiful, but the rooms are basic & musty.

    Best staff! Check in was smooth although there was a long line of tired people whose flights had been canceled. The front desk staff was efficient, polite and super friendly. The shuttle was easy to find at the airport. Our room was clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable.

    During severe weather Saturday evening at the airport, many flights were canceled. After paying hotels.com and receiving a confirmed booking, my credit card had apparently placed a hold on the payment (fraud alert?). By the time I confirmed the payment was legitimate (30seconds later) I was told that there were no rooms available. This hotel might be fine but I would not know. I will remove this bad review once a refund is issued. Zero stars for zero rooms after paying real money.

    Bar and restaurant Air conditioning broke in room reached out to management to come and fix on the first night facilities came in to do a temporary fix. AC still was broken refrigerator defrost it all of our food because it was not working when I got to the property I was not told that I had to give another payment of $60 for incidentals. When I asked for a total refund, I was told that being that I booked with the third-party I would not be able to receive a refund back.

    Staff lead was friendly. Looked like mostly renovated. Rooms has flooring (no carpet) - felt clean Bathrooms too small, old around edges. Maybe it was newer staff, but were unreasonable about complimentary water bottles (which an experienced staff helped with)

    I enjoyed my stay at the Marriott Houston North. The staff were warm and attentive, and they gladly printed the items I needed. The room was clean and comfortable, although the view looked out on a roof that was not very attractive. The restaurant served very good food, and the waiters were kind and eager to please. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived and would stay here again without hesitation. I was not thrilled with the location even though it was easy to reach. The hotel sits beside a busy highway, and I could not find any appealing restaurants nearby other than the one inside the hotel. Still, the value for the room and the free parking made up for it. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with excellent service and good comfort for the price.

    The hotel was fine. We were inconvenienced by a 24 plus hour flight diversion and needed a few hours sleep. However the staff was extremely nice but stressed to us that becuase it was a third party booking they didn't even have a room with two double or queen beds. That's pretty annoying at 4 am. The room they gave us was clearly under some improvements in the bathroom but we slept a few hours and left. Not cool Orbitz! Not cool at all.

    Air Conditioner was not functioning as we tried to make the room less cold. We had to stop the A/C. The coffee corner had no dairy creamer. During check out time, the elevator (only one was in service out of 3) stopped working. We had to walk down from the 5th floor. When informed to the front desk there was no apologies rendered or even an enthusiasm shown to get it fixed. My wife, fresh from a major surgery had to walk down for 5 floors. Terrible stay. Will never visit this Marriott again.

    Morning crew was great, I was waiting in the lobby for a co worker. It was a Marriot workers birthday on 12/12. and I could feel the love between them and it was awesome to see it from the outside looking in.     My husband and I traveled from Alabama to Houston Texas to assist his daughter with moving. While we were in the hotel taking a two hour nap our vehicle was stolen off the Marriott Houston North Property. The evening manager, Ms. Rita was so nice and helpful to advice us that the Manager, Leah will be able to review the outside camera on the property. When speaking with Ms. Leah we learned that camera are not "operational" at the time of this event. How convenient that our vehicle gets stolen only to learn the camera are not working at that time and the security guard didnt see any suspicious activity. I will be contacting Cooperate in the morning. Meanwhile, I will not be staying here again.

    I had a very rude and uncomfortable experience while checking in to the hotel. Enough so to tell the clerk id rather just go elsewhere. I consider myself a respectful and well mannered, kind, gentleman. We all have our bad days and personal lives. I say this now as I wish to offer, respectfully, that I do not wish to discredit this place or its employees.     The hotel itself was fine but the automatic night lights right in my face were super annoying. The food in the restaurant is mid, not bad but mid. My main complaint is that I asked the hotel receptionist this morning to call me a taxi and she called a friend of hers who charged me 3x what a taxi or Uber would have cost AND he drove us all around Houston picking up other riders and made me 30 minutes late to the airport. I felt intimidated and just paid the fare but I will never ever do that again. I would have called for a cab myself.

    I keep hearing that this area of town is not the best. But honestly me and my kids felt safe. There’s a security guard roaming the parking lot. Everything was clean, comfortable and beautiful view from the 12th floor. I will definitely be coming back. I have stayed in very luxurious hotels and I can say that this felt like it.

    One thing at this hotel, the first room I got had cockroaches coming out of the refrigerator and then they took me to a second room and that had blood and hair on the telephone. The customer service was good. The gentleman refund us our night and gave us drink and food vouchers, but overall the cleanliness was terrible.
