    They have a second building that's not connected and you'll have to walk to the main building for the exercise room, breakfast or and other amenities it was a little inconvenient considering that it rained every day

    At first, the room was well prepared but a day after, two days after, there were no clear towels and the room was not cleaned either. Breakfast area was great. The front clerk was great and the parking was great and the property was clean.

    Parking was behind iron gates and seemed secure. The room is very close to highway noise all night long. Renovations going on in rooms but lobby looks new. The free breakfast was the best one we have seen in any hotel

    This place was partially renovated, the bathrooms were original and painted over. The shower head was 5 ft high. The pool is not heated. They did vacuum the halways, though the carpet was so gross it probably wouldnt have helped. The AC unit sounded like a jet engine both us and my partents had to sleep with out it on as it was too loud. Breakfast they ran out of coffee, and other items. The staff were indifferent to any of our issues. I would highly recommend finding another hotel.

    We called the hotel as soon as we landed approx. 5:30 am and they told us where to wait and the airport shuttle came promptly. We were early so we knew we had to either wait or let them keep the bags until later. We were very fortunate and managed to get into the room a bit earlier-thanks to the receptionist. The breakfast was welcome and enough- sausage, eggs(varied each day) , potatoes, bread, pancakes, bagel, muffins etc everything wrapped since it is a self serve.There was also the cereal, oats etc, fruit, yogurt and drinks-juices, tea, coffee. Rooms were clean and tidy-it's only the corridor that seemed untidy as if no one ever used a vacuum there. But I know they were doing some work there so maybe that was the cause. There is a small pool - didn't use it but it seemed ok. There was some small work being done there as well. I would definitely stay there again since the price and amenities were good. There were lots of eating places nearby (within walking distance and on the same side) Cracker Barrel, Jack in a box, Whataburger. On the other side of the road a grocery, Popeyes and other eating places.

    Stayed here one night after a cruise. We did not use the wifi, pool, fitness centre or shuttle, but did not hear any complaints from other visitors. The hotel is older but has had some cosmetic updates with some still in progress. The beds were comfy, the shower pressure adequate, the free breakfast has a decent selection of food and beverages (real protein!) and the staff were all great and friendly. The secure self-parking is a nice feature too. Hotel is also quite convenient to IAH airport.

    After breakfast, we told front desk that we will be leaving in 20 minutes. They told us to stop by to check out when we would leave. This resulted in carrying luggage back and forth on the 1st floor. On a positive side, the breakfast was excellent.

    The property was torn apart for some sort of restoration but that left us walking around a construction zone. The room itself wasn’t very clean either and the pull out bed looks like it’s been peed on for the last 8 years.

    The property was under construction. The housekeeping was not cleaning up after the construction crew. Whitney the night receptionist did not notify us that the elevator from the second floor to the third floor that was operating. However, when we got to the elevator, it had a sign that said use the elevator to the second floor and then walk to the third floor. We are handicapped. When we went to ask the receptionist about it she said oh you can use the elevator. Ignore the sign. So because she was too lazy to remove the sign she was making people walk from the second floor up the stairs to the third floor.

    The only downside to the hotel was that the shower was dripping and we had some mosquitoes in the room. Other that that was a comfortable stay, the hotel is near I 45 so it’s quite easy to drive around. We did around 50 minutes to the space center and most of the other places we visited. 20 min from airport .

    The hotel said it was doing renovations but i couldn’t tell. When booking, kids should not be put in an adjacent room near someone else. They were screaming and crying like an adult was harming them for hours. I had to keep calling the front desk. The shuttle was good but maybe they should clean them up as well.

    I booked my stay from the 5th to 9th at one Holliday Inn Express Location in Houston. Upon arrival, I approached the front desk to pay for my hotel stay in advance, I was then advised by the hotel manger by the name of Vanessa who assisted with my checkin and gave me their statment upon payment, to which made no sence after calculations showed I was charged an additional 140.00 charge which made my total amount stay 618.00 for a 3 star quality hotel (google is not telling the truth) when as the Manager Vanessa why is there an upcharge of additional 140.00 for a reservation I booked a month in advance? (feb 5th) Mangers reply was [you will need to contact your third party vender] so Called Expedia Sarphak on 03/05 regarding over payment of booked hotel stay at Holliday inn express $494.65 when my balance ŵas as is in my statment 478.00 - 97.00 deposit should've been 381.00 estimate. After explaning this with Sarphak thru Expedia was advised there sending this case for review and please allow 72hrs never recieved a response. I this kind of service is unacceptable for your company. As well this is the irresponsible marketing and it should not be accepted to any person who wants to book within your company. Having hidden fees? I thought that if you book online and you put a deposit down on for it, then the price is locked, PERIOD!!! This honestly, is unacceptable her Expedia as well as Holiday Inn and I will never book with either parties again.

    Room was filthy with huge dust bunnies, hair and popcorn on the floor. Had hair in the bed. Bathroom was gross with hair on floor and tub. The darkening shades had numerous holes in them. Did move us to new room next day and room was not as filthy but we did have to clean toilet seat ourselves with hand sanitizer as something was all over it and also had to wipe down end tables. The shower also would not stop leaking.

    Bathroom toilet set needed to replace. Air conditioner was loud hard to sleep. Floors on the 4th floor were just add so you couldn’t take the elevator to that floor. Walls unfinished. The was being remodeled and I should have never been assigned. Housekeeping only added new towels for my five nights

    The property was not very clean, hallways and elevator. We’re terrible with cleanliness no amenities in the room besides coffee my particular room had no place to hang up clothes. The girls on the front desk were very friendly and courteous in the morning. The breakfast bar was not taken care of the way. It’s usually done at other Holiday Inn express we had to wait over 20 minutes to get fresh food after everything had been eaten.

    I was informed there was no Airport Shuttle so had to use ride share to get to the hotel. There is rust etcetera on the bathroom fixtures - and some really annoying (HVAC) sound that runs for about 5-10 minutes and then shuts off - and then runs again right around the time you just fall back to sleep - Staff was fabulous though

They said the shuttle would be back in operation at 4:00pm and would arrive at the airport at 4:25pm. After checking with a taxi service with a $85 quote, we decided to wait for the shuttle. When it had not arrived at 4:30pm I called the hotel again. Now the story is that the van is in the shop and they won't get it back until 6:00pm. They said they had called my cell number, we verified they had it right, but they kept getting hung up on. Then they suggested I take a cab and they would discount my room, not reimburse for transportation, but discount the room. I called my stepson who drove down from Conroe and drove us to the hotel. We received a $9 discount for our troubles. Last time ever we use an IHG property.

    1st & 2nd night kids running & yelling down the halls as if it was a park rather then a place people tried to rest/relax. The smell on the 3rd floor once exiting the elevator was terrible that even the inside of our room AC unit began to produce that smell after turning the AC on for 30-min. On our final night an event was going on when we arrived back in the evening and almost did not find parking. This was frustrating as we were exhausted & cold since 2 of the 3 back door did not work with our access card, The appearance inside of the room was worn down and dark colored that was not pleasing. This site was not the best and overall I would never stay here again.

    The only thing that would have improved the stay would be to have access to information about restaurants, shopping etc in the area since we didn’t have a car. Google wasn’t that helpful. Maybe the people at the front desk could provide a bit more guidance and highlight what is near. I would return.

    Breakfast was good with decent variety. No bacon though. The facilities are undergoing remodeling. They look old, but they are also very damaged for the construction. The corridors in each floor are dirty with carpet with stains and bad shape. Almost unacceptable. I inquired the front desk lady in the morning of my check out about expected date to complete renovation and room furniture in bad shape. She asked me not to book in this hotel any more. I said that is not way to respond to a customer and challenged me to issue a report and said her name was Hilaria. Checked out on Saturday Jan 31 at 08:30 AM.

    Breakfast was a good variety to start your day. The hotel was close to Canal street and was easily walkable. Enjoyed the fact that I could have parked ($34/night) and this gave me the peace of mind to enjoy New Orleans without having to worry about parking. Rooms did have a wet smell. I’m guessing from the fact that the sink is in the bedroom and the water on the cart will give it that smell. This could be easily fixed by removing the carpets. But everything was fine.

    Everything was horrible, ans soon ans you walk in you smell a bad order (like dirty ass) so I asked at check in if they had bugs, the girl said no! None of the ice machines work! My room had a dead but on the bathroom floor, air conditioner and TV didn’t work properly! My 2 1/2 year old granddaughter found some dried food near the bed and a wade of hair under the sink! Both bed covers and chairs were stained so bad I asked for extra sheets so we could cover them to sit on!

    The fridge didnt work (staff was aware if this issue before putting me in this room for a 4 night stay), there was no remote and the tub was dirty. I was promised a new room the next morning but Valeria or Valencia rudely declined to accommodate the promises i got from the night shift staff. I ended my stay 3 nights early and hope that management will put friendlier people up front. Breakfast was good, lots of variety and kept replenished.

    This hotel is awful! There is a homeless camp across the street along with right outside the hotel. There were renovations being made on the same floor as our room. The whole other side of the hallway was being ripped apart. The bathroom was disgusting and dirty and old. Stay away!

    Hotel staff friendly upon check in. Breakfast was well upkept and hit and ready even though no baconwas served over the weekend. After i was advised from frint deak it would be, anywho the 4th floor must be for 3rd party rates or discount, the hotel knowsno changes can be made therefore we ha e to suffer theu customerservice/ hospitality issues, 4th floor is molded and our mildew with the smell being covered with some cover up.

    It was quiet at night, bed was comfortable, I LOVE that the tv had DirectTV as I do at home. The hotel was extremely close to the highway which was very convenient for me as well as in close proximity to several restaurants. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which I always require. The outside door of the cabinet that held the refrigerator could only open if you opened the dresser drawer and if you did NOT close the dresser drawer WITH the refrigerator, it would not remain close. Unfortunately I found this out going to the restroom during the night. It dlid out that far towards the bed. Check in staff was professional as well as check out staff. One thing I loved was the bathroom door being directly in front of the door which allowed double security and blocking of the peep hole from outside so I did not need a post it note for security.

    Wasn’t told that some kind of celebration was being held there and they were taking up the limited parking around the property. With someone having a disability, this was a negative impact.     Got a suite because we needed the sleep sofa. The sleep sofa was disgusting. Went to the front desk, the reception said all the sofa beds are that way and said we could just go somewhere else if we needed. We only had 1 day left when the guest came that was using it. So we asked if the could put alot of sheets, and comfoters on there to cover it up, they did. Then the toilet handle kept getting jammed, they sent someone to fix it, but the person came and showed us we had to wiggle it up, and then flush. I told them we shouldn’t have to do all that. Then they had a wedding reception, they didn’t leave any parking for their paying guests to park, we had to park at a restaurant next door and then walk back to our rooms. This was totally unacceptable experience.

    When we arrived the person that checked us in was rude. And very condescending. We booked a suite and the fold out bed was super uncomfortable. We had to put down pillows for 1 person to be able to sleep in it. We left the hotel to go for an afternoon outing and upon return there was no parking due to an event that was booked in a separate building. When we asked at the front desk about the parking we were rudely told that we would have to find somewhere else to park for hopefully no more than an hour. We ended up having to park in the burger joint parking lot next door. The only thing I can say was good about our experience was the breakfast and coffee were good.

    Staff was awesome. Saw cockroaches in my room on my last night if sooner I would’ve checked out ASAP. I was in the building next to the main building where the desk was. My building’s door did not require a key to get in. Although it was set up too require one. The main building did require a key to get into the side entrance.

    Did not have the shuttle service working from the airport to the hotel and the next day from the hotel to the airport cost us an extra 67 dollars and we weren’t informed about it until we got to the hotel. We called the day before and no one mentioned it.

    To make matters worse, several items in the room were either broken or non-functional. The TV remote didn’t work, the toilet ran non-stop and the seat was always wet, one of the tiles in the bathroom was loose, and the refrigerator made a loud knock when turning on. It’s clear the room had not been properly inspected before check-in. While the front desk staff was polite, the overall condition of the room made my stay uncomfortable. I expected a much higher standard of maintenance and cleanliness. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements for future guests.

    When walking to our room, we noticed a cockroach in the hallway. There was visible (actual physical) dirt on the carpets. The rooms were fine, a little dated. The ceiling fan and a/c unit were particularly noisy. Buffet was ok.

    I confirmed the day before that we would be set up for shuttle. Booked my stay and drove4 hours, desk told me there is no shuttle due to repairs, it was down for several days. I had to pay for transportation to airport. That was part of why we chose that hotel. She said she won’t do anything to fix this. I spoke with IHG, they refused to fix it.

    It was ok. Didn’t have enough towels, they were out and couldn’t get note until next day after we needed to check out. Outside door unlocked in building with laundry. Only one laundry machine set for whole place, but no soap. Had to find store in town. No coffee even though had machines.

    Hours after check in, I opened the fridge and a roach crawled out. There was rust around the bathroom tub. My key card sometimes wouldn’t work and the hot tub didn’t work as far as getting hot. When I requested more towels , I had to wait due to the staff doing laundry. After requesting a refund for my room, I was told I had to wait for the general manager to get there the following Monday. As I was going back to my room to move, because they moved me and my family to a different room for the time being, there was a cleaning lady wiping down the fridge in my current room while my underage child was in the room and my spouse was sleeping. No notice that she was going in there or nothing.

    Just an observation, when I pay the same price for the second night's stay, I should receive the same amenities as the first night's stay. The coffee pods in the room should be replaced, the bag in the ice bucket, etc.

    This hotel desperately needs to be remodeled. The AC is horrendously loud. The ceiling fan isn't balanced. We thought it was going to fall on us. We did not have a "do not disturb" sign in our room, so we asked the front desk to let housekeeping know that we didn't want or need service. They didn't and clearly came into our room.

    Save yourself the traumatic experience & money and do not stay here. It’s extremely dirty and infested with roaches. Unfortunately all flights cancelled out of George Bush International Airport at 1am & this was the only place we could find with availability. It being a Holiday Inn we assumed the standards would be aligned with the brand, but we were shockingly mistaken. When the shuttle picked us up from the airport all the seats were taken and the driver insisted he drive to terminal A to pick up three more passengers. I asked doesn’t each passenger need to be in a seat with a working seatbelt, his response is “no everyone squeeze in, I will drive slow.” We squeezed in 2 adults and the 3rd sat in back w/ luggage- drove recklessly. When we got to the hotel it smelled of mold and our room had a very musky smell, light fixtures did not have a cover and we could see straight into gaping hole in the ceiling, the restroom door was warped by water or mold and painted over to hide the damage, there were used contact lenses on the restroom floor and my daughter woke up to roaches in her bed. Because it was so late we did not unpack anything, left our bags and suitcase on the luggage rack on the tile near the door and could only sleep for a very short time and in our clothes due to dirtiness of the room. The entire way home we felt disgusting and assumed we had some unwelcome visitors hitch a ride in our carry on bag.. Do yourself a favor and avoid this disgusting place!!!

    It started off horrible, i should havr known. I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. I called ahead and requested they be next to each other, they definitely no problem and they would write it down. We arrived and were told it was impossible to have our rooms next to each other and not even on the same floor. We asked if we got a different type of room could they be by each other. Still no. We had our 3 rooms on 3 different floors.. the rooms were disgusting. The couch beds covered in stains, looked like puke all over them and appearing to be barely even couches anymore from being so worn and old. The floor was sticky. The shower was dirty and moldy, the rooms stunk, we had to get our room cards replaced 4 times and got locked out completely on two occasion and couldnt get into the front of hotel to get in due to fence blocking trapping you in the parking lot. Everything was so outdated it felt like I stepped back in time. It is not handicap accessible at all. Breakfast wasn't good and the pool was out of order. All of the gym equipment was broken besides the treadmill. There was sad to say nothingngood about this hotel.

    The hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable and AC worked very well. We stayed here because we were able to park our semi truck behind Cracker Barrel and we did not run into any problems. Pool was working, but hot tub is out of order.

    At the woodlands location was a horrible experience. Felt unsafe for my children and the front counter staff Charles was very inappropriate towards my 9 year old daughter. I tried to think he was overly friendly but it got extremely weird and uncomfortable for my daughter that her dad was brought into the situation and it got a little heated. We definitely has to leave the hotel to find somewhere safe for our family

    Nice staff, VERY Dirty hotel. First room had Roaches in the tub. Second room was better but still did not feel completely clean. Buildings smelled of engine oil and cigarette smoke. Ok for a quick cheap stay if you have no other options, but I wouldn't recommend.

    The hotel was nice and clean, I love the the dove products in the room, only thing wrong with my room was the water dripping in the bath tube after turning the shower and bath water off, so we had to close the bath door so we didnt hear the dripping sound.

    Very Disappointed!!! After traveling 8 hours to Houston. I checked into the hotel. Not once did they mention that there was going to be A very large party with extra loud music that was going to there until after midnight!! The music was so loud that the rooms were shaking! There were so many people and cars that the actual guests had to park and walk a mile to get to our room! They would not refund my money and I had to leave to go and find another Hotel which was an hour away!! Very inconvenient and very disappointing!! You get a room to rest not to have to deal with loud music and people! People that did not have an actual room!! Total unacceptable!! I should have been informed at check in. Not when you are ready for bed!!! Customer service did say it was there bad we should have been told, but there was nothing they could do!!!!

    of the hotel was very dirty and even the main doors where you enter and exit the hotel were horribly dirty as well. I stayed at this hotel because I saw online that they had a very good rating. But I don't know who wrote those ratings because this hotel was horrible and super dirty. I also picked to stay there because I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before and it was amazing and super clean. I am disappointed because I paid $245 for a dirty room and hotel. Everywhere I looked in this hotel and inside my room of this hotel was very dirty.This is unacceptable. I will never stay here again.
