The elevators were under maintenence. Lines were 20 minutes or more to get up to our 14th floor room. Caused us to miss the shuttle and getting back to the hospital several times. My mom is 81 and it was very hard on several people.

Easy to check in. Well located to where our event was, comfortable bedding and spacious room, and many options for food and drinks within the hotel, particularly coffee and breakfast early on a Sunday morning All good. No complaints.

I love the decor and staff. I appreciated the pool and bar. The king suite was spacious and welcoming with great views. I didn't like that there wasn't free parking and the high price for daily parking. I didn't like the old outdated dirty bathtub.

Cons: No ironing board, had to iron on bed. No ice machines, had to call front desk and request ice be brought. Depending on time, it can come fast or take very long.

The bed was comfortable with good fluffy pillows. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HILTON? This is the question that I asked myself over and over again as we got to our rooms. We had to drive and park into a tight, unattended parking garage and then take an elevator to the 4th floor hotel entrance. I had previously reserved, and paid for, 2 king suites with a city view and was advised at check-in that only 2 - 2 queen beds were available, despite calling in advance to ensure that our rooms were still reserved. We even had to ask to be placed on the same floor after being booked on separate floors at check in. The staff ppl at the counter were indifferent and gave me the impression that they were blaming us for their own lackluster, inattentive work. The cleaning staff, on the other hand, seemed happy and work-focused as they greeted us each time we passed them. The rooms were decent with an extra tight bathroom. I remember when I used to stay at the Hilton in downtown Houston and it felt like it meant something due to the valet, large atrium and bar, the great guest experience and staff focus on service and excellence. This location was new to me and I can certainly tell you that I will not be staying there again.

It was very clean and there was always staff cleaning throughout the day/night. The breakfast was amazing and served by amazing host/waitresses. It was raining so we really didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop pool and lounge area, but I must say it looked just like the photos. We had an amazing stay and would definitely book here again.

Friendly staff and great location. Love having onsite self-parking. They have a shuttle to the medical facilities, but it is not advertised nor do they have any info about it in the Lobby. Our room had a great VIEW!!! The toilet was not working well. The tank would not refill so we had to remove the top of the tank off and press on the valve to get it to fill up again. We reported it to the front desk and maintenance came to fix it, but it the toilet filled up only about 1/2 of the time so had to keep on doing it manually. Also, the sink on the counter in the room did not fully drain out so there was always about 1/2 inch of water and emitted a foul smell.

My families stay was not a pleasant one. Initially we were given a room on the 12th floor. Everything appeared to be fine. However, we found out that the shower only sprayed scolding, hot water and the faucet where the coffee maker was at spewed the water in our faces. A maintenance person had to come and repair both. Then a strong paint odor inundated the hallway and our room. We were moved to the 10th floor. After moving to the second room, the refrigerator started leaking water all over the floor. A maintenance person had to bring a new refrigerator into our room. Everything seemed to be going OK until all of a sudden a strong paint odor started coming through the air conditioning unit. There was nothing they could do about that later. I found out that it is hotel policy to withdraw an additional $250 out of one’s account which will later be refunded. However, the refund takes between three and five business days. I have stayed in hotels from Maine to Miami around the gulf to Brownsville, Texas and all over the West Coast of the United States and have never had any hotel deduct $250 like this. Also, the restaurant downstairs and the small coffee stand that’s also downstairs charges ridiculous prices. A breakfast for two people was over $50 and a regular coffee was five dollars. The parking garage was a nightmare and the automated scanner did not work properly. I will never stay at a Hilton anywhere again.

The room itself was fine but the parking garage was terrible. The electronic scanner worked when it wanted to only and parking was expensive. The restaurant down stairs served reasonably good food for ridiculous prices. Breakfast for two people plus the tip was over $50.00. To me that’s a little much! Overall I will not stay at this facility again!!

I didn’t eat breakfast. And the location was good 1. I am upset that the front desk staff didn’t tell me or other guests that the only elevator to access the rooms was the lobby elevator. Myself and other guests were trying to use the garage elevator to get to our rooms. I told one of the front desk staff about this problem was that they can use better signage. I told him that the staff could have told us. 2. I initially paid $20 for parking. When I got ready to go to the store, I could not find the parking ticket. I asked the front desk staff if he could help me with this problem and he said yes. He asked me what my name was and what floor I was on. I told him 16th floor and he continued to put data in his computer. He later gave me a parking ticket which could be scanned. I went on my way and while checking my banking account I found out that he had charged me an additional $20. He didn’t tell me he would do that 1. I didn’t like the lack of customer communication. The staff did not tell customers that the only elevator that could get you to your room was the lobby elevator. Customers were trying to use the garage elevator 2. I was charged an extra $20 for parking without being told that he was charging me for a lost ticket

Breakfast was just okay. Not worth the money. The restaurant for dinner was good. The first night we had a wonderful bartender/waiter, and the food was good. The young gentleman that provided room service with a few items we needed was very prompt and courteous. We had to be moved from our room twice before we got a room that was not sub-par. The staff at the front desk is what made our stay tolerable. They were all very friendly and super helpful. And one last thing, a quick shout out to the young man that drove the shuttle van. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of things we were interested in.

The place was just ok. The rooms were at least clean. Nothing extraordinary. We did want to lay out by the pool and have some drinks, but there was no bartender available. We called the front office and they said normally there would be one, but that day there wasn't. No reason given. It was disappointing since one of the reasons we picked the place was because of the "rooftop" bar and pool.
- 2/5
The front desk people were generally warm. However, the rooms were not well cleaned of dust and the carpet had food crumbs when we got to our room. The pillow cases were crampled, suggesting they were not changed after the previous guest left. When we raised the issue, we were quickly moved to a new room. However, that room also didn't have a handwash and the body lotion was almost empty. The soundproofing is also poor in the rooms. In general, I expected something much better for a Hilton.

The toilet sometimes would delay in flushing and the hot water took about five to ten minutes to warm up. The bed was by far the biggest disappointment. The mattress had no support whatsoever and sagged badly in the middle. I woke up with significant back pain and did not sleep comfortably at all. The front desk experience also left a lot to be desired. The staff member assisting me, Beatrice, came across as rude and impatient. She repeatedly interrupted me while I was speaking and did not seem welcoming or hospitable. Overall, while the hotel was clean and the lobby looked impressive, the guest room experience did not justify the cost. It honestly feels like more effort is being put into appearances in the common areas than into the comfort and quality of the rooms themselves. I expected much more from the Hilton brand and left very disappointed.

No breakfast menu. Sink in bathroom area would not drain out no matter how much I worked the noneffective lever. There was however a note saying that it was much easier to leave a tip for the people who clean the rooms. Why would anyone want to leave a tip for such incompetence? Early in the morning some person began getting some type of noisy equipment out of the storage area next to our room. Kept us awake for some period and never did get back to sleep. We have been coming to MDAnderson for 20 years and have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms. This was the worst experience we have ever had. You recommended this hotel. Antonio, the front desk clerk, was amazingly nice. He made the check-in process smooth and brisk, like 2 minutes brick. He was very pleasant and informative. The location, as a Molecular Biologist whom works at several labs in the Medical Center, was perfectly placed. As a Houstonian, you are in Uber or Lyft distance for EVERYTHING like, Midtown, the Museum District, NRG, Houston Zoo. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The roof top pool and bar were so amazing. The shuttle to NRG for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo was a major thumbs up. My husband and I were grateful as we were able to drink with ease and not have to drive back to the hotel. The shuttle pickup and drop-off were perfect. I could not ask for a more better experience. The beds were a bit soft and the dresser has some knicks on it, but 10/10 I would recommend.

I rated this hotel low because there is a thief amongst their cleaning staff. I checked in on 3/6 for the rodeo I placed my LV shades on the desk because we would be gone for the day and they weren't needed. 3/7 I didn't wear my shades because of overcast and just kept my prescription glasses on which had a transitional lens. I never took my shades out of the room. While packing my bags on 3/8 I noticed my shades were missing. I immediately searched the room as well as unpacked my luggage no glasses. I reported my missing item to the front desk and was meant with what felt like an annoyed assist manager. She suggested that I contact Carmen who is the Director of the cleaning staff. I emailed Carmen and explained my situation her response was they looked and didn't see my glasses. While I appreciate the response I never asked for a search to be conducted. My glasses was stolen out of my room. All I'm asking for is reimbursement for my stolen property. I spoke with the director of sales who kept implying that I lost my glasses and they can't a use their staff of stealing. Well they did. My glasses were stolen! He said he asked the staff and they said no. As if anyone will admit to a crime! This is an awful violation!

The staff was superior in every way. However, I wasn't comfortable calling room service for ice, and the volume on the TV kept cutting in and out, so you couldn't follow the program. The food was terrible. Again, every staff member was extremely polite and happy to help with anything.

We stayed in room 901 on Tuesday, January 6th. My 10-year-old son had an early morning pre-surgery appointment at Texas Children’s Hospital the next day, so we had driven in late the night before Because we live close to 3 hours away. At 7:00 AM we were forced out of bed by a loud alarm giving instructions to evacuate to the nearest staircase due to a fire. I quickly woke my son, got him dressed, and we walked down 9 flights of stairs to a side alley. In the rush, I scraped my arm on the stairwell and it was bleeding. We spoke with other guests who were also confused and said that it happened to them just 4 weeks prior when they stayed at that location. When we made our way to the lobby, people were acting normal. Several guests mentioned they had heard the evacuation instructions. I asked the front desk if there was a fire and was told it was a test alarm and that “it wasn’t supposed to say that.” Before evacuating, we had to use the restroom in our room and found the bathroom floor full of standing water. Clothes and towels I had placed on the floor were soaked, and the water splashed as we stepped through it. I told the manager and she said housekeeping was being sent, but no one came. I laid towels down so we could walk and took photos to show the manager later. The bathroom ceiling made it clear this wasn’t the first time there had been a leak. The manager offered 20,000 points and told me it would cover a night stay. It cost at least 55,000 points for a night at Hilton.

- 5/5
The staff is courteous and friendly. The check/in was a wonderful experience!! The suite is well appointed and comfortable. However, one lamp had a lightbulb missing the other had a burned out light bulb and the space below the sink had left over bags and a beer case from the previous guest.

The property was wonderful, but the staff was Exemplary. I spent about 10-12 days here on different reservations and Seymour, at the front desk, was very helpful and attentive to all of my needs. Thank you Seymour!
- 5/5
We had no problems other than I needed a handicap room/bathroom.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel. Everything from the front desk service to the room quality was exceptional.
- 2/5
Toilet leaked didn’t realize until I slipped and fell during the night. Linens for pull out arrived hours after check in, and were still damp. The shower had no hot water. I told the staff, I did get a call from someone a text. I’ve stayed here before and loved it.

Management and staff support have been changed in a great deal compared to my other stays at the hotel. Lacking professionalism as well.
- 3/5
Hot water was hard to come by. Limited dining options. Convenient to Medical Center!

Great room. Would’ve received 5 stars except it was loud. There was construction in the hotel that was loud due by the day. The people who stayed next to us were loud as well, but no fault of the hotel.

Room was spotless, everyone was super great. No breakfast or microwave was a setback and the parking fee boosted the rate up. The shuttle was extremely handy. But, the hotel was super nice.

There was no complementary breakfast provided. I did not participate in breakfast there. Clean room. Climate control was quiet and worked well. Parking was not designed for larger vehicles. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

The food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was dated. Clean, but adequate. The wi-fi was also adequate at best...unless you wanted to pay for faster internet. I had booked on Expedia and the website said it included breakfast, however at the desk at check-in I was told not included, so upgraded to get vouchers for breakfast. Also on the web site was not informed that parking was an additional charge of $20.00US a day. I do understand that upgrading the building sometimes is required, but the construction work on the floor directly above us, for renovations, was loud and the paint and glues being used left an awful stench in our room (especially when the central AC was turned on). And there was no information that the work was being done during these days, or any warning at check-in. Our choice for this hotel was based on price from the Expedia carrier, so the extra charges were a surprise ($160.00 US added for parking and breakfast for a 4 night stay. Not a small amount) We were there for a family matter, as such the proximity of the hotel was important.
- 4/5
Staff was great. I was able to check in early. Coffee and pastries were available for purchase in lobby. There is also a bar. Room was clean and quiet.

I arrived before their checkin time of 4:00 pm and they charged me an extra $35 to register. This was never mentioned in the Expedia booking.

This location is having renovations done. I was placed on the floor under the level that was being renovated & it was loud the entire time I was working. I was not allowed to move to another floor.
- 2/5
No television
- 5/5
The room was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful.
- 1/5
We were located on the 18th floor, and there was ongoing construction above us throughout our visit. The noise made it very difficult to focus and perform my work effectively. Due to the disruption, I had to leave to continue my work elsewhere. Under these conditions, I would be unable to use this space for future work. Our room smelt like paint had just been used causing headaches for myself and my husband. The front desk never check to see how the stay was when we checked out. Very rude upon arrival when I arrived 10 minutes before check in.
- 2/5
I came two hours earlier and they charged me for the extra 2 hours

Hard pass. Not well maintained. Lots of water damage. Smashed light switch, rotten base boards. They charge you $20 a night for parking... Outdoor bar was nice. For the money there are a lot better options.

- 2/5
Room cleaning walked in on me without knocking first. The front desk girl that checked me in was VERY rude and extremely unwelcoming. I asked where the lobby’s bathroom was and she told me you know you have a bathroom in your room in a very sarcastic way. I hope they improve their staff’s manners and services.

- 5/5

- 5/5
Very nice staff, accommodations were wonderful. Me and my son had a blast for a short stay.
- 2/5
If you are truly handicapped physically this is NOT a facility for you! Would not pass ADA standards. Shower was not handicapped accessible! To bathe you needed to lean across the tub to reach a grab bar! No valet to help manage luggage and a wheelchair for entry to lobby. The room was nice although there was visible dirt/debris on the floor by the head of the bed. My 8 yo granddaughters make a better bed…I mopped the floor around the toilet yuck.
- 3/5
Property is too old and there’s odder in the room.
- 5/5
Business-friendly
- 3/5
Visit was prior to a medical procedure. Elevators were extremely slow sometimes requiring a wait of 5 min for it to arrive both going up to room floors and down to lobby. Finally found the service elevator which was much quicker. Apparently this hotel is so old that it's recirculating hot water system is not functioning as it took 10+ min to get hot water to our room on the 14th floor. The base boards in the bathroom are swollen and obviously rotting of full of mold. So basically the engineering department needs so help, the front desk staff was awesome and very helpful and friendly.

I had great stay for 2 nights while I was in Houston for my hospital visit. Abbas Kasymon at the front desk was extremely courteous & welcoming. He explained all the hotel amenities and offered me an upgrade from a standard room to a suite for a few dollars more, so I gladly took him up on his offer. The room was clean and very spacious. There was a half bath at the entrance and a full bathroom in the bedroom. They also have a snack bar that is well stocked with fresh items and a full service bar. All the staff was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Check in time is at 4 p.m. We got there at 4:30 and the room wasn't ready and were told it would be about 45 more minutes. When we got to our room the bed looked liked it was made in a hurry, the sheets were not even tucked in. The room smelled very moldy and the air was wet. The toilet seat was the size meant for a pre-schooler. We will not be staying there again.
- 3/5
Room and furniture was worn out, no oversized parking. Staff was nice
- 4/5
Thr ac was a bit loud. Otherwise perfection as usual!
- 5/5
All was good. The parking was not free. $20 to park.
- 3/5
Hilton needs to serve complementary breakfast! And give all their guests vouchers for parking!!!
- 5/5
This property is centrally located and amazing to stay at. We had to visit for Medical Reasons so it is walking distance to Methodist Medical Center and also Texas Children’s Hospital. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
Good experience overall! Nice safe area. Workers were kind and patient. Confusing check out though, room key was needed to exit parking garage but had to be dropped off before leaving, 20$ over night parking.
- 5/5
Great rooms
- 3/5
I returned to the hotel at 12:30 am at night. The front door was locked and the side door was locked. I banged on the doors repeatedly and the man at the reception desk could not see me because he faces away from the doors. If it wasn’t for a pizza delivery man I would not have been able to get in the back door. I am furious at this disregard for a single older woman not being able to get in the hotel at night. Shame on you. Karen Schlather

Front desk staff extremely nice. After a long drive and arriving late to the hotel they were very helpful and accommodating. Room service was wonderful as well. Excellent room.

This hotel was comfortable and reasonably priced for the area. I’d stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was nice and very helpful. Very accommodating.

It was nice for a stay while my loved one is in the hospital.
- 5/5
Close to Rice Medical Center
- 4/5
The bed was a little softer than I prefer, but I still slept very well. The room was quiet and AC worked well. Good location- near museums, zoo, and hospitals.
- 3/5
Room is stuffy, and food prices are outrageous, beds are not good for an orthopedic surgery patient
- 1/5
Elevators are old and they take a long time to open and the elevator floors were very flimsy, and very noisy. Not very well maintained.
- 5/5
Amazing stay
- 3/5
After we checked in, we realized they put us in a room directly next to a bunch of construction they were doing on that same floor. Thankfully, we were only there one night. The construction started around 8am. It wasn't nice to look at or hear. It would have been nice to know beforehand. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they did offer to change rooms but we were already on our way out for an event. They did give us two free buffet breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience. However, when we got downstairs the next morning around 10:30am, breakfast was over - despite their website saying it was available until 11am. All they had was a sign in front that said breakfast ended at 10am. Overall, the hotel has opportunity to be great, but this experience was just lacking overall. Do your due diligence and ask even the basic of questions at check in so you're well informed ahead of time.
- 5/5
Front desk staff were awesome
- 5/5
Very good
- 4/5
The room was clean. Bed and pillows comfy. One elevator was broken so that was very inconvenient. Food was pricey and our dinner was cold. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay again but please fix the elevator!
- 3/5
Construction going on nearby. Little noisy
- 5/5
Only issue was one of the elevators was not working which made an inconvenience getting to rooms in a timely fashion.
- 3/5
Now the bad: this building has two passenger and one cargo elevator. One of the passenger elevators has been out for quite some time (several months). If you ask, the staff will pretend it's a short term thing that they are working on. They are not. We arrived early on Thursday and stayed through Sunday. No one was ever working on the elevator. It was in the same condition that it was in August when we last stayed here. Elevator repairs are expensive, and it's clear Hilton doesn't want to spend the money to fix 1/3 of its elevators. This results in 10-20 minute waits for elevators when it gets busy. Next, the breakfast is ridiculously expensive for what you get, and it's not included. Third, the WiFi is INTOLERABLY SLOW. If you're trying to get any work done, forget it. 7mbs down and it acts even slower than that. You'll get better WiFi at the airport. Until Hilton gets hit with a lot of bad reviews, they won't fix any of these issues.
- 4/5
Staff is very friendly. The bed is super comfortable. However, the bathroom is so so (3 star at best). Shower is weak. The toilet doesn’t flush. One of the two guest elevators is broken. Need to wait a long time for it. There is a service elevator nearby but it’s not the same. If you have a car and do not mind driving a few minutes, then there are better options in this area.
- 5/5
Nice rooms and conveniently located to the medical facilities
- 5/5
Check in and interaction with manager Joby was professional and friendly. He was accommodating which was appreciated. The room itself was clean overall but some areas could have been cleaner. The corners of the bathroom counter were dirty as well as the shelves in the shower. Maybe they were discolored hard to tell. The cleaning staff was nice. The breakfast staff was so very kind. I really appreciated how accommodating and thoughtful they were on Sunday, Sept 28. They really went above ! Overall good stay and I would stay again

Staff was so very courteous and accommodating. Antonio, texted shortly after our arrival and asked if there was anything he could do for us. And when I needed something, I texted him and he immediately text me back and got what we needed.

Very nice. I wish there were carts in the parking garage to bring luggage in though.

Shuttle service was not good or rather non existent. Told driver was on their way more than once and we waited for an hour and a half and had to get an Uber

My hotel room was not cleaned. There was dirt and hair all over the floor and bathroom area. There was mildew/mold in the shower where guests items are supposed to sit. Every surface was not clean. I was very uncomfortable during my stay. My child was bitten by a spider within 30 minutes of checking in and had a huge swelling the next morning. I will not book again.

Excellent service by person at front desk when checking in and when I had a question about something.

After being told of release from MD Anderson I called and asked for an ada room with a walk in shower, after surgery i could not climb a tub I was told to call back afer a couple hours I was told one was available. When we arrived there was no available room and was told that was not on my reservation after 7 pm i was heavily medicated and had to stay in that room that was obviously not used or freshened up in a while because room had a film of dust then of course no help for wife bringing bags up or down only one elevator was working and the room was right next to elevator and bell could be heard all night and manager was not one bit courteous. I cant believe you are associated with MD Anderson!!

Awesome service great location will be back again

We arrived to check in after 5:30 pm only to be told our room was not clean yet. They "upgraded" us to a room with a "view", which overlooked the pool and bar area. Then we were told there were no ice machines working on any floors, but could come down to the Snack Bar and get a Ziplock of ice when needed. There was ONE working elevator for the 19 floor hotel. We had NO towels in our room the first night and were told by housekeeping they did not know to find any (but they did). Someone had disarmed the smoke detractor in our room bu stuffing something in it (was removed by matenance ). Worse of all, our telephone did not work from our room...just gave us a fast busy signal. Transportation to and from MD Anderson was great, as were the Front Desk staff. Not what you would expect from a Hilton property!!!

The elevators need to be fix or finish fixing it

Double charged for self overnight parking during check out was told by worker the $20 would be charged to room once leaving the property had to pay $20 to get out so they need to change parking garage sign to $40 for overnight self parking if that's what they charging

It is a very nice property friendly staff

Only one evelator was working. They were authorized to remove $100 from my debit card which was done on the 11th of Sept. Then on the 14th of Sept. they charged an additional $40. When I called I was told that it was for parking. That's a total of $140. Then customer service stated that I would only recieve $60 of the $100 deposit for parking, even tho they had already removed the parking fee.

Nice propergy and staff. Everyone was respectful of my husbands service dog. We have selected this hotel as our Houston base. It appears they have numerous return guests.

Have given 5 stars, but the air conditioner was very loud. Walls were paper-thin with loud neighbor. Very comfortable beds and nice staff.

One of the two elevators is out of order. Have to wait long time.

The hotel was clean, quiet and staff were helpful.. check in was quick and informative, parking garage was safe, Thats an extra plus. Room was clean, cool and quiet, I wish I was able to see more of the hotel, I look forward to another visit

This hotel needs renovations. Only one elevator was working with extensive wait times. None of the ice machines work on several floors, so it is guessing which floor to go to for ice-which was made worst with the elevator issue. There was also a dead cockroach on the floor near the restaurant where they serve food. I opted not to eat or drink anything from there. The only nice thing about this stay was the staff.
- 5/5
Great experience. Clean rooms. Quiet. 👍

We like to stay at Hilton’s but this particular one is not in very good condition, the elevators were “down for maintenance” the rooms were old and very outdated, very disappointed in this particular location.
- 5/5
Great customer service, Antonio was super friendly and ensured a smooth check in process.
- 2/5
The only bar/restaurant on-site is very small, has a limited menu, and was overpriced for the quality of the food. Service was very slow because there was only one server/bartender for a packed space. For the cost per night, this hotel was absolutely not worth it. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it.
- 3/5
One of 3 elevators out of service. Nice coffee shop and bar/restaurant. 9th floor outdoor pool.
- 5/5
The only thing I had trouble with was the elevators! During my stay only one elevator was working and it would stop on each floor before getting to the 16 floor! Mind you no one was ever there to hop on the cart just had a mind of its own. Anyways this lead to waiting several minutes before I could come and go. God forbid I let something important upstairs I’m not running up sixteen flights. Please have continuous maintenance done on elevators! And besides the leaking toilet everything else was great I will be booking again to say the least! Thank you Hilton!

While the staff was friendly and the cost of the room per night was very reasonable the rest of the hotel is in bad condition overall. The room itself was borderline dangerous due to a bed frame that extends at least 6 inches out from the edge of the mattress posing a severe trip hazard and bruised shins. It is next to impossible to get a good night's sleep with the air conditioner rumbling when it kicks on to the point that you cannot possibly sleep through it. The parking garage spots are so small that unless you have a subcompact vehicle you will have a very difficult time parking your vehicle. Finally, two cups of coffee and two slices of coffe cake cost us $28 which is beyond exorbitant. This is one of the least expensive hotels in the area and you get less than what you pay for.

There were no ice machines. Abbas, at the front desk was amazing. Extremely helpful and polite

I chose this property recently for a place to stay before a trip to MD. I chose mainly because I trust Hilton and the price was shockingly low for a large city. I was extremely happy when I saw my suite. Every part of that room was first class. I’m back for surgery in two weeks. I will definitely stay here to heal.
- 4/5
Staff is always friendly. They always answer any questions I have. Everytime I have a Dr appt I choose to stay here over any other hotel.

The rooms mattress is not comfortable

Got upgraded which was lovely. Staff friendly and the shuttle is a huge plus

The roof top was a nice experience!! It had a bar and snacks options!! Nice view!

Hotel had 1 working elevator. Refrigerator in room leaked. Hotel looked as though they were preparing to close or renovate. Shuttle driver Luis was very rude and inconsiderate of someone dealing with stage 4 cancer!

All went well

Always a nice stay

I stayed at this location in the medical district because of proximity to hospital thinking the environment would be sensitive to people in time of stress. My wife was in hospice at MDAnderson. Checked in around 9:30 Friday night. One elevator was out and my daughter and I waited for over ten minutes to go up to our room with a large group of people that squeezed themselves into the elevator which added a great deal of stress to the grief. On top of that the fold out couch was disgusting and painful to sleep on. When I showered the tub filled up as it wouldn't drain. The only thing good was the reasonable price otherwise its a 1-star rating. It sure looked different in the pictures…its rough around the edges and they said they were renovating. Maybe it will be better after that but I won't be back to this location ever.

The pool was nice

Me and my sister stayed here for a three day trip. We absolutely had a great time great. Every one that worked here that we came in contact with were so nice and helpful. Our room was so clean and nice. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve been to in a while. We will definitely be coming back. And another thing the beds were so comfortable. We slept like babies. It was awesome thank y’all so much.

I loved the rooftop view and the restaurant inside the lobby

Nice accommodations, nice pool. Free or discounted parking would have made it even better.

We were there for cancer stuff. This place is super convenient with an excellent shuttle service.

Fast easy check in. Friendly professional staff.

1. Each room has it's own independent aircon unit and the "engine" is very loud. I moved the bedside table and a cushion to muffle the noise still unacceptable. Otherwise the property is very quiet. 2. I was pleasantly surprised to find there was a shuttle to MD Andersen and other places but no signage, no designated waiting area and basically zero explanation as to how it worked. 3 shuttles a day to Kroger and target but when do they pick you up? Or don;t they? And where? A shuttle "every 30 minutes" to MD Andersen but what time do they take you back and from where? Then way below it explains shuttle break time from 12:30 to 1 and 6:30 to 7. Also I waited for the shuttle on a Saturday then went and asked where it was only to find no service on weekends. OK but why not put a sign up in the shuttle area for people who didn't know that? 3. No walking map. Most of the medical mini city is close and walkable from the hotel (except in summer) but the layout makes it extremely difficult and even google maps kind of gets it wrong. Why not provide a really dumbed down walking map for hotel guests? 4. Booking through Expedia w/pay at property led to a large number of weird card charges. If you charge a meal to your room, it goes right to your card. Lots of deposits, pending charges etc. Then days after I left the property a lot of the charges get reversed or consolidated so makes more sense but unnerving in the interim.

Only one elevator was working during my 4day stay & even that elevator broke. When “no service needed today” sign was hung on door, someone still entered my room. Hard to find change to use the washing machine and dryer in the hotel.

Very bad service didn't have my room with two beds.

Air conditioning was making a thudding noise so we had to move to another room. This new room had empty beer cans in the trash can! Staff did comp our parking as an apology and were very nice.
- 5/5
We were there because of a serious illness in the family. The staff was incredibly nice and supportive. The rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable and well kept. The shuttle is easy to use to any hospital in the medical center, or it is short walk.

The food at the in-house restaurant was very meh. We had snacks and breakfast and just didn't enjoy them (standard breakfast fare). The room was amazing. The staff was even more amazing. Loved everything else!

Every thing was great - but only one elevator was working so it took a LONG time to get to & from room.

Very old. Elevators are the worse

The elevator broke and I was staying on the 15 th floor , the ice machine on my floor didn’t work, besides that, my room was clean and the staff was friendly, I think for the price they charge the building needs some work

Hotel is located right next to the Rice University campus and associated medical facilities
- 4/5
It was a good stay. The service was great. There was one elevator down. This was the biggest issue, but the other elevator worked and the service elevator was available to the guest. The ice machines were removed, but they delivered ice to your room. We stayed in a suite with 1.5 bathrooms. The TVs need to be updated. They don't allow streaming unless you download some app. I normally don't watch television in a hotel, but with the family being together it would have been nice to stream Netflix or Hulu. Prices weren't too terrible. The restaurant was ok, nice food options. Internet was good. Transportation to hospitals were good, but we just took our vehicle the second and third day. I would stay there again. The staff was great. I would stay again.
