Its was clean for the most part. However I checked in Friday out Monday….. still waiting for towels. 2 towels for 4 people. Called and went 4 times to ask. None were ever provided. I had to hunt someone down. My kids used wet cold towels as we needed to leave to visit my nephew in hospital awaiting a heart transplant. And staff had attitude about it!!

I ended up having to transfer to a different room because the initial room's AC was not working. The transfer was smooth and the front desk concierge was extremely helpful.

The staff was very accommodating and the place was very clean.

It was an easy check-in process. The hotel grounds from front to back were clean including the parking garage.

This is the second HGI I’ve had major issues with this month but let’s focus on this one. First the a/c didn’t work. We were told someone would be right up. 3 hours later they changed our room. Then we requested housekeeping and it naver happened so we said we’d take new towels instead because we were toted. Then they didn’t have those but would bring them later and never did. No follow through or care about the quality of the stay. I think it’s best to give another hotel brand a chance. HGI doesn’t not have it figured out at all these days

We had a poor customer experience upon check in . We came in late night flight and when arrived no one was at the front desk with a sign the staff would “be right back”. Any number called rang unanswered at the front desk. I fell asleep on a bench in the lobby and awoken by my children..40 minutes had gone by. It was 2:00 am and we were sleeping in the lobby. Ridiculous and unsafe. Called multiple numbers all rang to front desk. Finally found one answered and then “suddenly front desk arrived from a back room”. Poor experience.

I have stayed here before because the location is nearby family and they have spacious and comfortable facilities and rooms. There is a nice patio outside and the pool area is decent. The pool water was cloudy. And also the maid was extremely rude to me when I asked for more toilet paper and tissues. She didn't even speak to me.

This property was awesome. Convenient pet area. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. The menu had many choices. Convenient for any where you need to get to downtown.

We loved our stay! The beds are very comfortable. I love the parking it feels very safe. I love the breakfast options! The staff was great! Lots of snack options in the lobby. Great location close to everything we wanted to do. We will stay here again!

The location is perfect for my visits to M D Anderson. Staff is always always so helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean; beds are comfortable. Breakfast is always excellent.

When we walked into the room, it smelled like sweaty feet. I’m pretty sure the prior guest in that room had shoes/boots with a strong odor and no one deodorized the room. We used our deodorant to try to fumigate the room. Our mattress was broken with a long gap on one side of the mattress. We were able to make it work by rotating it around and it was bearable. Lastly our room had no body wash. Had we been there another night, we would have requested a new room but we arrived later in the evening and we had an early morning so we just made it work. The fact that this room was left in this condition gives us no incentive to use this hotel again.

The room is clean, and the buffet breakfast is good value with a lot of healthy choices.

The water did not get hot, and I had paid extra for breakfast, and was not on list to be able to eat before leaving for MD Anderson Cancer Institute. Tried speaking with someone 3 times at desk, and no one was there

If there was anything that I have to say bad it’s the dinner menu is ridiculously priced. For a burger it cost $24. Appetizers were around $15 or more. It was just way over priced. Maybe adding a comp dinner option would be nice. All and all would recommend and would stay again

Very clean, comfortable bed, king jr suite. Only odd thing is the barn door on the bathroom does not block much sound and there is also no exhaust fan to help remove steam or anything else. Friendly staff at check in, convenient shuttle to hospital appointments also clean and safe.

We didn't eat therr so can't dpek on that.Checkin and checkout was quick and easy. Parking was close and easily acessed.The only glitch in our stay was that the TV in the room was not working...called the front desk..no one answered...finally went down there and spoke with the person working and it seemed at that time they were shorthanded. As soon as he could he came up and tried to get the tv operable..when he couldn't..he offered us a change of rooms..which we did...Everything else was satisfactory.

I really appreciated that the hotel provided shuttle service to the medical centers. All of the staff were very polite, and the shuttle bus driver was prompt, responsive, and extremely helpful.

Great place to stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, but bathroom was on the small side. Having a refrigerator and microwave was convenient for our stay. One person in our group was appreciative of the designated smoking area outside with seating. The only negatives were there was a huge rat right outside the front door, there are lots of ants in the outside sitting areas, the restaurant is not that great, and the shuttle only runs to the medical centers and they stop running at 7pm. Also the shuttle will not take you to Rice Village for dinner like the Hilton Plaza who also runs later than 7pm.

We had appointments at MD Anderson and this hotel was perfect for our stay. They worked with us on our accommodations and we really liked the restaurant on the premises. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. It’s very close to the hospital and made for a comfortable stay while receiving treatment. Highly recommend!

for the rates i prefer less people hanging around outside smoking. i smelled weed too. everyone was fine but i just expect more for nearly $200 a night

The hotel itself was good, and the staff was friendly. The only two negatives were that there is no parking available except in the (paid) parking garage, which does not have enough handicapped parking spaces, and the garage elevators were out of order for part of our stay, forcing us to wheel my mother up and down the motor ramps. Given that the hotel is located near the medical center, I would expect better.

My stay is always good when we stay at Hilton Suite and Garden hotels. We frequent this hotel quite often due to medical reasons.. it is close to the medical center and very convenient to get to and from there..

We stayed here one week. Came back the next and the price went up $20 per night! No medical discount or st citizen discount. Talk about taking advantage of people using the nearby medical facilities! Well stay somewhere else next time we come to MD Anderson

Check in was great. It was raining. My only problem with our stay was when I went down to the front desk to ask the receptionist to have my sheets changed, she simply said “my room wasn’t on the list”. She said “I can try to add you to the list”. I don’t wanna be that person but for $800, for 2 nights. I expected a different response. I don’t know.. I’ll most likely never stay here again. And I’ll spend the extra $$ to stay somewhere, where the focus is on the customer.

Nice building and room. Mostly polite staff. Check-in bungled by saying they didn’t have our name with reservation even with IDs. Insisted I investigate with hotels dot com. Then after I insisted again he laughed and said he got the name wrong. Disappointingly unprofessional. The other person at reception was helpful and got us checked in.

Friendly staff, nice lobby and elevator, pool was nice. Some knobs were missing from cabinets in our room. After we checked in and put our toddler to nap there was a knock and staff tried to enter the room, unfortunately waking up my toddler. Not sure the reason they were coming in when we had checked in about twenty minutes earlier and did not ask for any linens, etc. The restaurant staff were friendly, though the food was mediocre. The location was perfect for our event at NRG stadium.

We were staying because of a concert at NRG stadium. Easy to get around the area. Our room was great and had everything we needed.

The room was adequate and the location to the medical center was good. The restaurant on property was very expensive as were the snacks in the mini store. In addition, parking was a 15 dollar upcharge.

The hotel is clean, safe, and family oriented. Parking is ample in the garage.

Was charged and never given a receipt for additional charges won’t stay here again. Elevators were making a horrible sound that woke us up throughout the night.

This hotel was newer and very clean. It was also a great location at the Medical Center area of Houston. Only thing I didn’t like was that there was every few minutes what sounded like the moving of a heavy metal door. I was on the second floor at the end so not sure what that was.

Check in was okay. Clerk kind of rude and dismissive. Hotel room restroom needed to be cleaned better. There was still hair in the shower. Bed was hard and uneven. Liked the parking garage and security settings.

Pillows were too stiff foam and they could not provide softer one for stomach sleepers. AC was finicky — too hot or too cold in room. Overall fine for the money but found be great with a bit more effort by the staff. Shuttle was very convenient to get to where o needed to go.

Booked this Hotel because of its close proximity to MD Anderson. My truck has a lift which makes it taller than average. The parking garage at this property accommodated my vehicle with ease. Very clean Hotel, overall satisfied. Highly recommend!!

I like how clean the hotel is but I did not like waiting for an hour and a half for an extra bedding and every time I call them they will say it had been delivered in our door without nobody knocking to let us know its there. My baby is 2 yrs old and had to wait until 11pm for them to gave the beddings she need.

We had stayed on 10th floor and 6th floor and the rooms were immaculate. This stay we were on the 9th floor. There was a small roach on the counter and the bathroom, entrance, and closet floors were not near as clean as the other two floors. It wasn’t terrible but I will definitely request the 10th or 6th floors on our next stay.

Air conditioner was extremely loud, there was a bright flashing light on the smoke detector that would flash every 5 seconds, so bright you could see it with eyes closed. The most upsetting thing was that after we arrived we found out you must pay $15 to park at the hotel. That price should be added or included in the nightly rate. Had we know that we would have stayed somewhere different.

The building was very clean and modern. The rooms, furniture and the fixtures all seem up to date. The room was very spacious and had good lighting as well. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity.

If you are going to NRG Stadium for Livestock show or Rodeo, I Highly recommend stay at this Hotel, You can park your vehicle in a secure garage and leave it there. They have shuttle’s that come every 20 mins to take you to and from the stadium. Well worth every penny!!!
