I was expecting at least a toast and a toaster!! Should not even advertise it as a breakfast included!!

The property is extremely old and dirty. My initial room was full of flying insects. I was given another room with less flying insects. I tried getting another hotel but it's hard with a little one. Absolutely no cleaning on the weekends. How are you supposed to keep and maintain a clean and safe stay like that?

The hotel is very old. Prices are very good.

The iron stained my clothes when I went to ask if I could have another was rudely told no and the ilight in the shower was not working the bed springs popping out and the fridge was not working.

I stayed here after my flight cancelled due to bad weather and it was a great stay while delayed till the next morning. There are restaurants within walking distance and they have a airport shuttle that will get you to the hotel and back to the airport. Clean room . No issues here .

Clean I had to double pay for a deposit due to the way the way the room was booked. One of my deposits was refunded immediately but the other was taken out my account and has yet to return yet. Other than that it was a great place, still waiting on an answer about my deposit now though.

He air conditioner was not working, smoke detectors apparently running out of battery, not a continental breakfast and when staff was told about the air conditioner and smoke detectors didn’t really care was playing in her phone.

Towels were not clean. Shower was small and not clean. Sheets looked dingy. No security. People were running up and down the hallway knocking on random doors, laughing and running off. I immediately checked out after one night. No way I’m I ever returning.

The accessibility to the airport and the fact that it had free breakfast and a free airport shuttle. Tv did not work, prefer a bathtub over a shower.

I've stay at this hotel every time I travel to Houston. I think it's time to move on. Last time the tv didn't work, this time I had to move rooms twice. The 1st room the window was broken. The 1nd room was alright but I needed to move to a double which the lady was very helpful about. The 3rd room was also cool until the next morning when I went to take a shower and there was no soap, not even a soap dispenser. The front desk didn't try to rectify it just sorry there's nothing we can do but here's a couple packs of shampoo. So I tracked down housekeeping. The lady barely spoke English but she did more to help me than the front desk did. We can up with pouring soup in a cup and 3 ppl took a shower with that. Also ppl were smoking weed in the parking lot under my window which I could smell even with it closed.

I did not learn this until I called to ask for the shuttle to pick me up to take me to the hotel which I thought was just a few mins from the airport. It was only then that I learned that this hotel was actually an $80 Uber ride away from where I landed! I then booked a different hotel five minutes from the airport where I landed ( Hobby airport). I’d like to make it known here that neither the hotel nor Expedia was willing to make this right and I had to pay for both hotels. Zero compensation and I even had to make a request for an apology. Terrible service with Expedia and very disappointing. I am completely unfamiliar with the airports and the hotels in Houston and count on a company like Expedia to offer appropriate options for a seamless trip. Terrible just terrible service.

They will answer their phone, they will leave you waiting for hours until you finally cave and call an uber. And when you step inside the hotel, and try calling again, you’ll discover they mute their phones and don’t answer. If you need the shuttle, don’t bother booking here

I hate to write reviews like this but the bed my son slept on had bugs. He got bitten all over his back. We left the next morning and just got back from our trip. The hotel looked clean and the beds looked clean. I wasn’t bitten because I slept on the other bed. Sucks! Service was great and everything looked so clean. I have pictures to show as well.

Bed was springy… Remember to schedule your shuttle, they pick you up based on booking it. It’s free and the sprinter is clean but it’s not like a shuttle that circles on its own…. The “breakfast” is Sunny D, microwaveable croissant egg and sausage sandwiches or muffins… apple or Orange… nothing to brag about. Staff was nice. Pool is deeper than most hotels.

The lady checking me in was nice Everything else. The bed was awful. There were cum stains on the bedding and pubic hair on the floor next to bugs. The tv was broken and the walls are thin.

We reported this and were moved to another room, but the same issues continued and only one light was functioning. At that point we were too tired to keep dealing with it, especially since we were leaving the next day. This level of cleanliness and maintenance is unacceptable. We would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

This hotel isn't horrible but if you have other options go with them. This is literally is a place where you can stay for 1 night. There was no soap for anything. They have containers for show and tell. The sheets were not thoroughly cleaned. There were stains on the sheets and pillow. The TV and refrigerator did work. There is no "closet". For the price, I guess I got what I paid for. The staff was there. I didn't really need/ask for anything.

Shuttle sevice is not totally on point, I waited for 1 hour at the airport, wrote a message on Booking and got an answer the day after. Could not phone the hotel as I had no phone service. Close to the airport No coffee, drinking water or cups/glasses in the room. Pillows lumpy and small. Thin towels and toilet paper. Curtains wouldn’t close all the way. Lots of aircraft noise throughout the night.

There were some maintenance items in the room that could use attention, and the bed was a bit firm for my preference. In the common areas, I noticed an exposed fire alarm in the hallway that should be addressed. Also, the “business center” listed appears to be a small seating area rather than a functional workspace. Overall, it’s a decent property, but it would benefit from more consistent maintenance and attention to detail.

Spend alittle extra money and stay somewhere else. I was only planning to stay here for 7 hours and slept. That didn’t go as planned since I woke up with bed bugs bites. I also found one on the bed and took a picture of it to show to the front desk. Even with the bite marks and picture of the bed bugs, they would let me move to a different room without paying extra.

The room and the staff were fine, I saw on the listing that breakfast was included but when I went down to eat breakfast all there was, was a tiny microwaveable breakfast sandwich and coffee, literally nothing at all to eat.

The airport shuttle only runs from 6am-11:30am and then from 3m to 11pm. It only provides a ride to the airport during those hours. Our flight early morning at 6am and was outside of those hours. We needed to get there by 4am and return the rental car also. So, that didn't help having an airport shuttle. Breakfast was from 6am too. So that didn't become useful too. So the reason we picked this hotel was for those amenities and wasn't useful at all. TV remote was broken too.

My friend and I almost got trafficked at this hotel. The women who checked us in heard of our plans for our next stop, which is 1.5 hours away, and told us there's a "free shuttle" that would take us. All we had to to was ask for someone named Angel in the morning, and that we couldn't reserve a shuttle spot at that moment. Red flags everywhere. In the morning, to make sure we weren't just imagining that interaction, the morning staff we asked told us there's nobody named Angel and there's no shuttle that takes us to the town we were going to. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. RED FLAGS FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING!!! 🚩🚩🚩 We've already notified the human trafficking hotline about this issue, now just trying to get this out to protect others from a dangerous situation.

Clean was room. Hallways were smelly as if somebody had been smoking. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was average.

The rooms had good ac and heat, breakfast ended a bit early and shuttle was a bit late, but overall nice rooms. Bed was comfy and shower pressure was pretty good. convenient location overall, there was a deposit required at least when I went so prepare for that.

The breakfast was a great good to go with muffins sausage, egg and cheese biscuits, chocolate milk, and orange juice along with fruits and yogurt. For the price it’s a great deal. Yes the furniture is a little outdated and the property itself is a little outdated but for the price is definitely well worth it clean. I didn’t see any bugs. No one was rude. It didn’t come off as a dangerous area. I felt safe walking nearby to local restaurants easy to hop on a bus for $1.25 to get downtown. And I have to say overall for the price they are actually pretty decent and I will stay again.

It smelled of cigarette smoke and there was a whole meal spilled on the carpeted stairs. Only stay here if you absolutely have to after missing a flight (like me). Only pro is the airport shuttle they have available!

This hotel is very close to the airport and was the cheapest option for me b/c flights were cancelled. There was a shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The driver was kind. Everything else was as cheap as possible. The patio furniture was in the pool (someone had thrown it in there), the breakfast literally had 2 cups of yogurt and two apple juices in the fridge.

This is more like a hostel. It is a house in a neighborhood. You have a 10x10 room with a light and a bed that is yours. You have a shared bathroom and kitchen.

Staff ignoring me when I walked in, broken entrance door (had to push it open manually), very dirty creepy man trying to talk to my 2 year old daughter in the lobby during check in, guests being extremely loud in their rooms during quiet hours, loitering by the front door, extreme stink of marijuana throughout the building but by far it was worse as I got off the elevator and started walking toward my room. I didn’t even make it to the room before I decided I absolutely could not let my wife and children stay in these conditions. I asked for a full reimbursement and have still not gotten any response at all back from customer service.

Absolutely terrible. The room smelled like cigarettes and they never cleaned my room not once during my 3 night stay. The breakfast was only packaged sandwiches and refrigerated yogurts. The room key didn’t work each night so I had to go down and get a new key. The “closet” didn’t even make sense because of how small and inconvenient it is. I will never stay here again!

This property is very old , there is some stink , leaks and not very clean , there is hardly any food for the free breakfast option , the free airport transfer is not available at all times , the amenities is not great .

Room was clean, bed comfortable, simple breakfast, great airport shuttle service, close to a few food options, the pool looked lovely but was closed (out of season.) The staff were very helpful and accommodating as we changed our morning pick-up without a lot of notice. Very affordable for a one night flight stop-over. We were on the main floor so was very accessible. We could hear planes coming and going but didn't affect our sleep.

The room was very dark. There were only two lights on either side of the bed, and one sconce on the far corner. No light in the entryway or by the desk. The shower water pressure was super low. The fridge worked well, but was unlabeled and kept wobbling. Coffee was available all night but there were rarely cups. I went out at 3am to get coffee and my key stopped working so I was locked out of my room. Same thing happened the next day. Breakfast was pathetic. First day they had good breakfast sandwiches, but they only put one or two out at a time. There were no napkins and had to ask for coffee cups. They had yogurt, apple juice, milk, oranges, apples, and bananas (no apples or bananas after the first day). The hallway smelled like marijuana. No housekeeping for the 3 days we were there. The second day I asked for towels and never got them. The bed had a broken piece under it so it squeaked terribly when we moved, but it was still fairly comfortable. Air conditioner was wonderful!! We were close to the airport and the planes were very loud, but we were able to sleep fine and it wasn’t too much of a distraction. There was limited dining options. All in all, we dealt with the issues and the room was cheap enough, but I think we would pass on staying here again.

I was super disappointed with this property, to the point where I only stayed for one night of my reservation. Bugs, broken smoke detectors, toilets that did not work. I have stayed in MANY hotels, and I have never left one so quickly.

I was expecting a rundown hotel and bracing myself for the worse as i walked in it was so beautiful, clean, cozy, with very upbeat friendly staff. My flight did arrived ahead of schedule so I mades it 4 hours before check-in time. Since it was a job related business trip I was having an upcoming zoom meeting I asked the front desk lady if i could stay at the lobby are for my meeting and then come back later at the actual check-in time she checked me in at no additional cost. Breakfast is your small hotel style Breakfast coffee, waffles, cereals, etc. Rooms were very clean the overall inside of the hotel was also clean. The Hotel sits along the flight routes, so the sound of airplanes taking off from the IAH airport is audible but was not overbearing. There was a noticeable odor inside the room when we first entered, perhaps cleaning detergent related, but otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast offerings were organic milk, fruity yogurts, muffins, fresh fruits amd cereal. Enough to get you going. The staff was courteous and helpful and the shuttle departing from the hotel left for the airport every 30 min. Finding their stop at IAH upon arrival was a bit challenging as it was not marked at all but fortunately, the hotel staff were accessible by phone and provided verbal guidance. In summary, I would consoder staying in this hotel again in the future.

Offer better breakfast. Hire more employees to take care of guest needs. Our tv did not work they didn’t send anyone to look at it and would not let us change rooms. They said they had to save rooms for people with vouchers. Then around 7 the desk person walked in our room and said she thought it was vacant because that is what the system showed. Then she took our remote because our tv didn’t work and they needed the remote.

The airport shuttle was non-existent. I emailed and phoned several times before our stay to arrange the free shuttle. There was no service from the airport, so it cost $40 by Uber, then a further $30 the following morning. Communication was absent. Check-in was dreadful : the two staff gave the impression that they were too busy to attend to us.

When we got to the room I went to use the bathroom and there was crap all over the underside of the toilet seat. I went to the front desk and told them about it they said they would notify housekeeping. I left and came back a few hours later to a still dirty toilet. I went to front desk again and they said housekeeping had left already. I had them switch me rooms and the new room wasn’t any better.

The "business center" is just a chair. No computer or printer or deak or anything. The room key stops working every day and you have to go to the front deak to get it fixes. The "continental breakfast" was pathetic. Little dollar store muffins and milk cartons and oranges. That's it. No eggs or bacon or waffles. No cereal or bagels or toast. No omelettes. No oatmeal. The whole property smells like marijuana. Poor lighting in the rooms. No safe in the rooms for valuables. The towels are super small and thin. It's luke drying yourself with a washcloth.

The front desk clerks would hardly speak or acknowledge us, the vending machine wouldn’t accept cash or card, water fountain gave hot water, tv didn’t work, advised front desk she was of no help, we were not told that the shuttle didn’t run between midnight and 6am so we had to get an Uber, blood on walls, foul smell in room, cockroaches in bathroom, and what appeared to be some form of a pimp waiting in car outside while we were waiting for our uber. Would never recommend for anyone to stay here. Felt very unsafe and unclean

The fire alarm went off several times, and was a false alarm. I had to be moved rooms because the A/C unit broke down. The hallway smelled like weed the entire time we were there. One of the front desk ladies was always in a bad mood.

The room itself was good. That said the ac in the exercise room was not working which made the room unusable and the tv was not working either. The biggest problem is that the hotel is by a runway and so you get a lot of plane noise night and day which makes it hard to sleep.

Stay included breakfast, but the offetings was almost nonexistent. The vending machine was broken. The TV remote was broken and no one could fix it or offer a new working one. Also there was a big crack in the ceiling. But, the bed was comfortable

It's not a bad place to spend a night, but they need to do more frequent maintenance. At least in the room I stayed, the air conditioning was dirty and freezing, the bathroom handle was loose, and the breakfast was almost empty.

I wasn't picked up from the airport because I couldn't reach out to the hotel. Upon arrival front desk informs me their system is down and that's the reason why their phone didn't work. It took more than an hour to have me checked in (while tired, hungry and in need of a good sleep). I wanted to get a soda from the machine... Card reader doesn't work. Carried my bag upstairs because the elevator doesn't work. No complains about the room though (it could use a couple light bulbs to be replaced and a lamp to be fixed but that's about it.

Free shuttle bus is available, but you have to wait more than 30min. I waited 1 hour. Check-in operation is not smooth. You have to use credit or debit card to pay room fee even if you paid it at reservation. The reason is security or so. The payment seems be cancelled by hotel, they will not take responsibility if the process is failed. Staff in night time is not good. They are Overbearing and no consideration for anything for you. The staff in daytime are different. They are normal. You should check-in during early time. The room furthest from the entrance is not available wifi. You should not use shampoo. The shampoo will make your hair stiff. It is good the coffee machine is available every time. The room fee is reasonable. If you want to save time and not have frustrations for your journey, I would recommend another hotel.

Shuttle service was awful. Waited over 45 minutes. I told the diver we waited over 55 minutes and he said. So I am here now.

With that said I have to be honest. Although the room itself wasn’t necessarily as issue, my stay at this establishments this weekend was far from what I was hoping for. I travel throughout Texas and surrounding states for cycling events so being booked way in advanced only to show up and not being able to wind down and relax after a long road trip with the television that didn’t work, to a shower with terrible low pressure, no in room microwave (even motel 6 has those) and having to manually refill the commode with water in order to flush after having to climbing 3 flights of stairs is ridiculous and unacceptable!! Once again at least the young lady at the front desk made an attempt to rectify the tv situation and someone came up and tried to do so and that’s it. The breakfast if you can call it that was pathetic. At least there’s a liquor store subway dominos and other establishments behind the building and in walking distance plus it’s near the interstate and airport. I never give bad reviews on Expedia but looks like today was it. I will never book at this hotel again and the owner should give the counter ladies a raise cuz they deserve it

There was a lot of hair in the shower. There was bugs in the room and the mattress was lumpy.

There was no cable tv. Went down to front desk to let her know and she said maintenance would go by to check and never did. If they did show up I was most likely asleep after waiting so long. The only good thing would be the very limited breakfast that consisted of orange juice, milk, coffee and mini stale muffins.

My first room had no cable service or working toilet. My second room had a big hole in the bathroom ceiling over the toilet and the sink drained too slowly. The wash room had one working machine the other left my clothes soaked and drained the water. The rooms were fairly clean but the second may not have had clean bed sheets. The stay was fine and a few places to eat or purchase small items were close.

I try again to stay in the same hotel to see if going to be better this time but it wasn't it's the same nothing changes, I am going to try and others places sorry

The 5* ratings are way off. But it was very cheap and close to the airport. It was clean with a disturbing amount of cleaner fluid smell in the air. Almost toxic. But what do you want for $50?

Room and bed are clean. Towels and toiletries stocked appropriately. Instant coffee available 24 hrs a day. Building is older with a few minor maintenance issues. Had to jiggle the toilet handle or the toilet would run and run. Outlet for hairdryer didn't work, one lamp needed bulb replacement and another didnt work at all. Not able to adjust tv volume on the tv or with the remote. All that being said, staff was incredibly polite and friendly. Im sure if I would have asked, the issues would have been addressed.

I stayed there for about 2 weeks, and it is ok. The price is low, so don't have high expectations. The only problem was after 2 weeks they charged me $10 for a towel. They said I destroyed a towel. That is crazy and to charge me $10? Nothing in that room was worth $10.

The place looks run down and unclean. Elevator was broken but that was not a big deal as we were on the 2nd floor. The major turnoff were all the cockroaches that were in the room. On the nightstands, inside the fridge, by the tv and in the bathroom. Luckily we did not spend enough time in the room to notice it until our last night there. We sucked it up and stuck the last night through but definitely would not stay here again. Beware of cockroaches people.

Some lights didn't work in and the room was freezing. For one night it was fine though and the shuttle service is a plus.

The upside to this hotel stay is that the Wi-Fi was very good but the downside which was a serious one for me is that they hardly had any rooms that had a bathtub which means those of us with back problems that need a hot water soak will have a problem getting a room with a bathtub. The majority of the rooms are shower only with maybe only one or two having shower tub combination and those rooms are usually occupied. If you're a person that don't mind just having a shower this would be a nice day and it's close to the airport.

Checking in took about 30 minutes. There was a line and the front desk person couldn’t care less. The room’s floors and shower were dirty. The shower had mold. The pool chairs were in such bad condition that one broke while I was sitting on it (I’m 135 pounds). The breakfast was barely even a breakfast. They put out a small amount of Sunny D, fruit, yogurt, and packaged muffins. I should’ve spent more money to stay at a better place. There’s a Double Tree next door.

I needed a room after being stranded in the airport. Options were limited. With that said, the staff was not unkind at all but definitely not what I would call friendly or welcoming. Some furniture had been upgraded, but had more of a dorm furniture vibe. No other upgrades appear to have been implemented in a couple decades. The building is quite dilapidated. I should’ve just slept on the airport floor & saved my money.

This place was awful! From the minute i walked in i noticed it was dayed, and paint peeling from recepton. In the room, the beds were really hard. In the bathroom, a towel holder was being held up with scotch tape and the best thing...roaches in the room!! The whole place need a makeover amd to be treated for pests.

Hotel is pretty run down, shuttle wasn't operating when we arrived at Houston airport so had to find our own way to get to hotel, then the lift wasn't working, our room has old furniture and single glazed windows so we heard the outside traffic all night. Breakfast was very basic and not much food or choice. Staff wasn't helpful when we arrived and asked for a shuttle.

This hotel was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in years. The only person at the front desk took almost an hour to give me my room key because she was working alone, and on top of that, there were no rooms available initially. When I finally got my room, a loud argument broke out next door with shouting that made it impossible for me to sleep

I booked through Hotels.com. When I got to the property I was told that if I "booked within the last 2 hours there would be no room available." The front desk agent was not helpful. She said it was the airline's fault for cancelling flights. If Hotels.com has a contract with this hotel to book a property that is not available, then the Hotel should cancel the contract instead of blaming the customers.

Unfortunately we arrived to a dirty room. Upon washing my hands in our room sink, I saw trimmed hair all over the soap dispenser and sink. The hallway to our room smelled like smoke as well. Our bed sheets had some long hairs as well. Other than that the room itself wasn’t too bad.

I prepaid for my booking, and realized that i booked for the wrong Dates, and called customers services, they tried to correct the dates, they couldn't and after that i called the properly, and explained the situation, and the front dask answers were. "It's not our fault you've booked the wrong date and hung up on me.

Pretty rough conditions inside and out. Loud and poorly insulated as one could hear planes taking off and people yelling. The hotel was pretty beat up and rough looking and really needs to be cleaned and repaired, but it is a pretty good option to save money and still get a little sleep while waiting for an overnight flight connection.

Shuttle never came to the airport. Staff was rude. Elevator was broken. Complimentary breakfast for the entire hotel was three baby muffins - five pieces of fruit and 3 yogurts. Basically if you just want a place to sleep this is it - also tv did not work.

We have stayed at Greentree several times when passing through Houston, and it seems like each time it gets worse. Last time ice machine broken, this time elevator broken. Also when flipped our light switch upon entering room, nothing happened. Tge carpeting (especially on the staircase) is really gross looking. It's an inexpensive hotel, but I think it's probably worth an extra few bucks to stay somewhere else.

This was a very average airport hotel. Shuttle service was very good. The property is looking tired, but was adequate for a short stay between flights. There's food within walking distance, which was nice since we had to leave before breakfast started.

The room was in bad shape, the handle of the door was broken, there were insects in the bath tub. I asked for water, they were out of water.

The next morning, I came down for breakfast, and the same man appeared again at the front entrance, pointing and screaming at me just as he had the night before. This behavior made me feel extremely scared and unsafe during my stay. Because of this, I decided to check out a day earlier than planned. I also expressed my concerns to the hotel staff and suggested they consider having a male security presence to help ensure the safety of their guests.
