Reviews
The hotel has a nice lobby and friendly staff, but there are significant safety concerns and cleanliness issues. Many guests reported problems with the amenities, such as the pool, parking, and room service.
- Friendly staff
- Nice lobby
- Safety concerns, such as an 8-year-old girl drowning in the pool
- Cleanliness issues, such as dirty rooms and hairs in the sink

Great stay

Great place
- 5/5
Clean. Easy checkin. Great for families.
- 5/5
Staff were incredible. Clearly undergoing a face lift, but it didn't bother us. It would have been nice for the bar to be open more hours. Also, the eating options weren't as wonderful as was let on in the listing. Breakfast was good but a menu with 4 options, no alcoholic beverages wasn't ideal on a vacation. The dinner availability was only in the bar and again, limited options. However, we will be back because the staff was great, the pool was divine! The lazy river is fantastic! I believe the team there is putting in work to make it a much nicer place long term and intend to follow the process. Rates were excellent and definitely in line with amenities. Paying for parking was the only thing I would truly complain about. Parking should be included, especially with a private parking lot.
- 5/5
Will visit again
- 5/5
Easy check in. The room was clean. There was an issue with the hot water on the 3rd day though.
- 3/5
What I liked about my stay was peace of mind & security with leaving my belongings on site. The paid parking made me feel better about the safety of my car. Upkeep on furniture & fixtures could have been better, but nothing that would stop me from staying in the future.
- 1/5
This is a huge hotel but not completely updated and they tried to charge us for parking at a rate of $10 dollars a day but they clearly had a sign that said parking was a courtesy to the guest of the hotel. Would like to know who was just pocketing the fees to park. Other guests were smoking Marijuana in their room across the hall from us with children in the room with them. Did let the woman know that was going on at the front desk several times. I don't think we can honestly recommend this hotel to anyone! Yes the employees were friendly!
- 5/5
This was my first time to TX and absolutely loved my stay at the Grand Tuscany. Will definitely be returning to try out their infinity pool! Staff was so nice and helpful. My only qualm is that we either needed a bigger/extra trashcan for our room but alas we made it work so it was okay. All in all, I will be returning!!
- 5/5
Everything was great from start to finish
- 2/5
The fact that my key would deactivate after every use was annoying, no valet parking is actually available
- 1/5
It rained for about 2 hours, and in the restaurant/cafeteria the water was leaking and running all over the floor without any warning or safety signs, which was very dangerous for guests. The service from the staff member who attended us was very poor. We reserved 4 rooms and spent around $700 at the restaurant for dinner alone. To make things worse, one of the rooms had no working air conditioning, and they were not able to move us to another room until 10:00 PM. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is very nice. However, the pool could use some cleaning.
- 3/5
Nothing
- 3/5
Breakfast isn’t complimentary and it’s pricey for what they serve. Better to outsource for breakfast. Also no fridge in the room and microwave is only in the lobby. But overall cleanliness is a very clean hotel.
- 2/5
Dirty room, lot of trash from last guests, rooms windows has a leak, shower was dirty and mirror was filthy & looked like there was saliva on it.
- 5/5
The property was absolutely beautiful. The entrance was stunning. Room was spacious
- 3/5
Don’t plan to stay here if you’re looking for a quiet weekend getaway.
- 5/5
The room was clean and made our experience want to come back and enjoy another relaxing vacation
- 5/5
Overall our stay was great! The only problem was it was pouring rain so we
- 2/5
Esperamos demasiado por el desayuno
- 2/5
Room smelt like fee. It was very disturbing. Stains on the sheets, glad I always bring my own. The building itself is nice but it needs a lot of improvement
- 5/5
Excelente ubicación, y habitaciones muy limpias
- 2/5
The room is ok, need some painting and an extractor at the bathroom. The parking is 10$ a night, just because .....
- 4/5
My only complaint was pool wasn't heated and needed to be cleaned.
- 3/5
Rooms don’t have a microwave …..hotel was empty staff wouldn’t change room to a ground ….cleanness okay tho
- 5/5
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for our anniversary and we enjoyed it. Our room was nice and clean. The staff were also helpful. The only negative I had was that the gym wasn’t that big and there wasn’t any place in the hotel to get water like a water fountain or water dispenser.
- 3/5
The showers don’t have warm water everything else was good house keeping comes everyday to take any trash and gives you new towels
- 5/5
Exactly what we needed, perfect location, perfect atmosphere friendly staff very clean facility
- 3/5
Rooms are not clean. Although it appears that they are attempting to upgrade the property, the effort seems clear however, the rooms are filthy. They need to put more attention to detail and actually clean the rooms. Staff is amazing. Check-in is amazing. Parking attendance are amazing overall the day was great room is just filthy. I would not read patronize the site until or unless their stars increased to four and above for cleanliness.
- 2/5
The shower water came out brown . Soda in the lobby was terribly over priced. The restaurant wasn’t open as stated. No extra pillows when asked . Just an over all bad experience
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the property and I love the room. The pool was nice and wonderful.
- 4/5
No mention of a $10.00 fee to park on site. The pool was closed for no apparent reason.
- 5/5
Great staff
- 2/5
The room had one towel, one hand towel. The room I booked was a 2 bed room. Everything else had sets of 2. Cups, coffee etc. when I tried to call the desk the phone didn’t work. Went downstairs to find the person manning the desk doesn’t have access to towels as well as the cleaning people went home for the day. I was told to check the pool area for extra towels only to find a bunch of dirty towels everywhere. The guy was able to get towels from another room and give me. This happened pretty much every day for my 3 day trip. The room wasn't cleaned when I asked for new sheets they just reused the same sheets(makeup stain on the pillow case). My mom got Keurig sickness from a dirty keurig in the room. When we ask the cleaning lady for new cups not only did she have her AirPods in but she told us to clean them in the bathroom sink…When I told her the cups were dirty and we wanted new ones she sighed took the cups and came back maybe 5 minutes later with thanked her and she said yep and walked away. Last day im on a different floor to use the ice machine (only levels 5 and 7 had them) the elevator opened partially while still in the elevator I hit the emergency button. No one came my mom and I had to push/pull the doors open. After telling the manager everything she refunded us for just a day. The guy manning the desk overnight did his best with what he had even though he didn’t have the tools for success and he was very nice. They only got 3 stars for the pool alone.
- 1/5
Only few rooms downstairs are functional. Clutched toilets and flooded everywhere because there's lack of drainage. Staff on night shift was extremely rude and lacks manners of approach. Aside the staffs, we the guests were no more than 3 in that hotel the entire night. A hunted house would have been been better off
- 2/5
They ought to of put the restaurant and bar and other amenities were not operable. Other than that. The hotel is pretty nice.
- 4/5
Everything I say is if course my experience. A lot I will share is solely to inform what they will be prepared for. Overall my experience was good. Upon arrival I was greeted.. The hotel clerk was very nice and he explained everything well. He was very informative and detailed. The hotel is gorgeous and i eventually learned of everything the hotel offers closer til when it was time to leave. The rooms are decent size and clean. The bed is comfortable and they provided fluffy pillows. A little more firm would’ve been more to liking. However, I defiantly got my sleep. Now it will be hot when you exit the elevator. My room was hot when I arrived. I had to turn the air on and it quickly cooled off. The air might have been off because the room wasn’t being occupied. The had good Wi-Fi. The maids were nice and quick with getting things we asked for. It was very affordable. The only things that I didn’t like was the Diner/kitchen area was closed so that sucks… and then service from a clerk on one of those nights I stayed. They do have parking .. there is a parking fee depending on what day you’re there and they’re outside….

Well the stay was ok but they wasn’t really ready to fully open there properly no restaurant with an open at all and keep going DoorDash food. The pool wasn’t fully open the pool wasn’t clean in would not recommend nobody stay there until they fully open everything in their hotel but besides that everything was OK had to keep on DoorDash and breakfast and dinner. They didn’t have a lot of water for the guests but I wouldn’t recommend staying there ever again
- 5/5
Didn't visit
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel.
- 2/5
The hotel itself was nice on the inside. The décor everything was very, very pretty. The look of the pool and lazy river nice, but there's no inner tubes available. I don't know why you needed wristbands. There was nobody in the pool at all. And online, it says no fridge or microwaves because they had food available(which was false . )there was 0 food, 0 breakfast. N o drinks acvailable and no bar either. None of the food or places were open, not even the snack area or barista. didn't even have it available at all. Also, the ice machine was not working.\n And my key took 2 times 4 it to finally start working. I had to go downstairs twice.\n And the hallways were very noisy, people kind of hanging out in the hallway being loud for a long time and slamming doors really hard.. n ot impressed at all . The room Itself was good and cold. But for the price with no amenities at all was waste of my money. So sad , i expected soo much more from this place. VERY disappointing. I could of paid way less somewhere else for the same .
- 3/5
It would have been helpful if it was mentioned that the cafe, the gym the ice machine was all down due to renovations. We had no fridge or anything. Lobby area was nice but nothing was working and available
- 3/5
A staff member told me parking was free for my stay just for the next day I had to pay. The plumbing didn't work good. And the phone in the room didn't work. The manager was rude when I expressed my frustration about parking.
- 5/5
Thank you for the great experience!

Great staff and comfortable rooms.

We rated overall rating one star with three stars on all other questions because, as per Expedia, the property manager was not able to issue the refund even the hotel was the one who could not check in and provided us alternative solutions due to the power outage. 3 stars from the rest were for the experiences we encountered that night at the hotel before we left. We arrived Double Tree hotel around 18:15 on May 16, 2024, the hotel had power outage due to the severe storm weather that evening. The concierge and customer service desks were not helpful on providing the updated info at all. All they said was that they were also waiting for more info from their GM. Luckily they were at least able to provide us water bottles upon our request. We sat there from 18:15 to around 21:00 with no further updates or any proposed solutions, so we booked another hotel in different cities. When we arrived another hotel, Comfort Inn around IAH airport, it also had power outage, but its GM greeted all the incoming guests at the front door and answered our questions. Comfort Inn GM said we could either get the full refund due to the weather and the power outage, or she could assist to online check in with the emergency room cards. Here you should be able to see how different management treating its valuable customers especially during the special circumstance. I rated that particular Comfort Inn 5 stars because of that, and so Double Tree in this location only received 1 star.
- 1/5
Hotel was closed and guest weren’t notifed. Terrible experience with Expedia. I will never book anything with Expedia ever again in my life.
- 1/5
I booked a room for two nights for my family the night of the big windstorm, and the hotel took my booking and took payment. When my wife showed up, there was no lights and she left promptly. I have not been contacted for a refund or explained how a hotel as big as this does not have auxiliary generators. AVOID THIS PLACE IN EMERGENCIES
- 2/5
I realize that no one has control over the weather, but we happened to be staying at this hotel on May 16 when a tornado came through. We were out, but came back to a dark hotel. No information was sent to us to advise us of this. No one at the front desk checked on us or asked us if we would like them to find another hotel for us. I believe we were the only 2 guests in the hotel and I got the impression that the front desk wished we would leave. When we went out on Friday the 17th to put our bags in the car for easier departure on Saturday the front desk person said "Oh, are you leaving?!" Her comment made me believe that she wished we would so she could go home. In the future, if there is a weather event that causes power outage, the front desk should check on its guests.
- 5/5
Some of the furniture in the room needs to be fixed or updated but other than that we had a great stay
- 1/5
I can’t give a rating because the hotel was closed due to no power. I tried to cancel and get my money back and that has not worked out.
- 1/5
The property was closed and I couldn’t check in
- 1/5
Property closed due to electrical issues from storm. Booked unknowingly, called location and no answer.
- 2/5
There was a tornado that swept though the area on our second night there. 100 mph winds. There was power outages all over the area. They were not prepared. There was water leaking all over. They had no power, of which I know they could not have prevented, but the emergency hall and stair case lighting was insufficient and only stayed on for a few hours, then PITCH BLACK. They also put roping around the door handles in the front lobby so folks could not get in or out, we had to use a side door. That is a fire code violation! Not to mention the emergency lighting not working. Very unsafe conditions. The only positive was the staffing. They were all very nice and accommodating to our needs. I would not recommend this location to stay at all!
- 3/5
The power went out on our last night and hotel generator did not work. And the property 360.00 with no reason as to why in addition to the 100.00 deposit. We did charge 90 or so to the room
- 1/5
Really bad weather. We lost power in the building 30 mins before the storm. Zero communication. No backup generators. Storm came through and my room windows seals busted loose and had water all over the floor. Still no power. I was on the 5th floor and had to use the stairs which had zero light. I finally got outside and no one at the lobby. I just packed up and went to another hotel by the airport where they didn’t have the bad weather.
- 1/5
Got stuck in the storm with my 3 month son. The workers was eating snacks and drinking the water that was for sell and didn’t offer nor checked on the guests. They only have generators for the emergency lights, and even half of the emergency lights didn’t work!!! Before we got hit with the storm, our room ac wasn’t working, the ac unit was leaking water, room smelled like mold because the room was carpet.
- 1/5
Could not check in power was out no one at front desk
- 1/5
I had an awful experience! The location was in an unsafe area. Bedroom smelled terrible, like wet dog. Pool was closed and there was no breakfast, you had to buy a voucher. I went to eat and a lady come to made me leave my plate there. Information on Expedia was NOT clear enough. So, you pay $200 for an hotel that is worse than the $99 ones. I regret of not getting a cheap hotel close to the airport. Expedia did not offered support for a complaint nor the hotel. DO NOT RECOMMEND and would be great if someone reach out to me for a refund. I DO NOT want credit if it is to stay with Double Tree.
- 5/5
The staff were absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful. The room was clean and serviced by housekeeping daily. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The pool was breathtaking and you could walk to Papas BBQ.
- 5/5
Highly recommend. Excellent service and support from the Manager, Monique
- 1/5
House keeping stole my Jewelry, they even had her on camera but could not do anything not even refund me for my stay . They also OVER charged my card $186 the next day after I checked in not even a full 24hrs. And then tell me it will come back in 3-5 business days but it’s up to the bank.
- 3/5
Not very well kept
- 1/5
I am very disappointed with this property. I was really looking forward to staying here. When I arrived they had lost power and I was not able to stay and had to go to a different hotel. I requested a refund through Expedia and they were not able to get a hold of the location. I called Double tree and was told by the manager Monique that she approved the refund Expedia again tried multiple times and they still won’t refund me. It is sad that I have to go through so much trouble to get my money back. I did my part I showed up and they had no power and now I have to go through all this hassle to get my money back.
- 4/5
The property was nicely kept but we had no pool access due to renovations.
- 5/5
My fiancé love this place! We’ve stayed so many times and will always chose this place over any other place!
- 5/5
Unfortunately I was very disappointed due to the pool being unavailable for use without notice until we arrived. We were looking forward to being able to enjoy the Oasis pool as described when hotel was booked.
- 3/5
The cons were as follows: although my company did, I can see paying for parking as a guest is quite abnormal. In my history, self-parking is added into the resort fee and valet parking is paid for separately. Secondly, at the time of booking (2 months prior to arrival) there were plenty photos of the pool and how incredible it was. The reason it is closed is sad and unfortunate, but after an unsuccessful exchange with Expedia/the property, I was not offered partial reimbursement. The pool has been closed for 3 months of this year. "Coincidentally" the pictures of the pool and the amenity itself are no longer listed in the listing. Overall, I liked this hotel. I would recommend it and would stay again.
- 2/5
Hotel is in terrible condition, very old compared to pictures. Has a mold smell. Had to get the room switch and the second room still had the smell which was lighter but still there. Unaware of the parking fee. Not enough towels in particular face towels. Pool not open.
- 2/5
So, when I booked I thought well I was under the impression that we had access to the pool, the pool was under renovation which that wasn’t stated in the website. The breakfast wasn’t complimentary and the room service, the never made up my bad or anything when I left for the day. Upon arrival, tv wasn’t working and I had no phone service.
- 4/5
Very spacious rooms
- 1/5
1. We checked in and the power was out. Stayed 2 hours in a room with no AC but had no choice because we needed to use the room to get ready. Showed up to our event sweaty and couldn’t shower. 2. Because the power was out, we didn’t get room keys for the first day of our trip. Every time we came back in, the front desk had to walk us upstairs along with other guests. We were left in an elevator to wait for the woman to return with a creepy man who were harassing me and my friend. We couldn’t leave because we needed to be let into our room. UNSAFE. 3. The hotel was unstaffed at many times it should’ve been. We couldn’t order food from the restaurants and coffee bar. What good is that if there’s NO FRIDGE OR MICROWAVE in the rooms? 4. The staff kept me on hold for 40 minutes when I tried to call about an issue with our room, only for her to hang up and not answer again after being on hold for 40 minutes. This hotel is a headache, not up to any standard of living, and is unsafe for travelers. And no discount or refund was issued for our many inconveniences. BEWARE AND BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. P.S. we googled the hotel and a little girl recently was KILLED in the pool. no wonder this place has bad vibes.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Nice hotel
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the scenery and the art displayed in the hotel.
- 1/5
I never stayed there Expedia messed up my Reservation and trip
- 5/5
The pool was down unfortunately and the reason I booked to have some pool time but the rest of the hotel was nice.
- 4/5
.
- 2/5
The lobby area was very nice however when you goto your room it’s a different story the towels had hair on them and the room had a horrible smell to it. The tables in the room were very dusty and the baseboards in the bathroom and room were very nasty stains on the walls and shower glass was dirty , this was my first time staying at this hotel and will be my last I would not recommend anyone who likes a really nice upscale hotel to stay here.
- 1/5
I called before booking this hotel and asked if the pool was open and they said yes. When we get there, the pool was completely closed and we were told it was “under construction”. This was a lie. The hotel is going through a lawsuit and it’s all over the news as to what happened in the pool. It was absolutely horrible. The hotel should not haven been opened after what had happened. Never booking here again. Bartender at the hotel bar was absolutely phenomenal though. Only good thing about this hotel.
- 2/5
The overall inside downstairs was beautiful and the staff were friendly. The downfall was in the room itself. The shower had mold in the bottom corner. The sink water never got hot and it drained slowly. The bed and tv were awkwardly placed. The tv was on the far right and the bed was on the far left so it made it difficult watching tv. Then by the ice machine the floor was very dirty.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel!
- 5/5
The pool was closed but the receptionist was so nice & gave us permission to use the sister hotel’s pool next door
- 5/5
The building was pretty
- 3/5
The pool was closed , the elevator wasn’t working all the time
- 4/5
We were worried about the place based on some of the reviews, but other than being extremely dated, the hotel was very clean and was perfectly fine for the overnight trip we had there. The parking lot was gated and had a parking attendant stationed.
- 3/5
Elevator didn’t work
- 4/5
I would’ve given a rating of five stars, but it was not disclosed that there was a $10 per day parking fee and also the elevators at times were broken or shut down, which was a total inconvenience. Other than that the rooms were comfortable, clean and the air conditioner worked accordingly.
- 4/5
The staff has really great hospitality. I just don’t like how you have to request housekeeping to clean your room
- 3/5
We booked the hotel for a staycation solely for the use of the lazy river pool which wasn't even available to use which was very disappointing. The restaurant was good so was the bar rooms we comfy but only 1 elevator worked which was also annoying. Had to ask front desk staff several times for toilet paper & extra towels. I suggest calling to make sure pool is up and running before booking.
- 1/5
Elevator barely worked then we had to walk up 5 story of steps toilet barely flushed I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody horrible but the bar and the food was amazing especially the crab cakes
- 4/5
After reading the reviews on this hotel I was extremely worried I had booked a flop. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They gave me silverware when I asked and did not ignore us. The room did have a smell when we got in but it died down after a while. The room was 84 degrees when we walked in but the AC kicked on and cooled it down. Not a bad place for a short stay.
- 1/5
It was not what I expected .The room and view was not what I imagined to pay $422 .
- 3/5
Paying to park was so so, breakfast was misleading. First time at a Hilton base hotel for me that wasn’t complementary.
- 1/5
They preview a pool yet the pool is dirty and out of order, the room smelled of smoke
- 3/5
The hotel was very nice, clean, but some things needed updating. However the pool was not operational and the traffic noise from the highway was loud all night long.
- 5/5
It was really clean and quiet the staff was friendly check in was extremely easy and fast , would definitely stay here again thanks to the entire staff
- 4/5
There ls no includ the breakfast
- 1/5
The service was horrible and girl that works at the bar was rude. We asked for a fork and she said we couldn’t have one but then we said if we buy a dessert can we have one and she said yes. That is ridiculous. Also we asked for towels and they told us we had to go get them. Everyone seemed like they didint want to work every time we went downstairs staff looked like they were just chilling at the front desk like it was some sort of hang out spot.
- 3/5
The AC EVERYTIME it turns on it’s SUPER LOUD. Bed was very stiff.
- 5/5
Restrooms need an update.
- 4/5
It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Easy access to everything
- 1/5
It’s evident that it has been some water damage to the rooms. We checked in and was given a room on the sixth floor, the smell was UNBEARABLE, it was a stench of mildew, cleaning supplies, and damp water. We switched that room for a room on the third floor it was better but it still had a mild smell, we ended up going to dollar tree and purchased our own cleaning supplies to thoroughly clean the room. We pulled back the sheets and there was a blood stain on the sheets. Then to top the stay off a little girl died inside of their lazy river pool it was police, forensics, and screaming family members EVERYWHERE! Truly heartbreaking and devastating it ruined our trip literally!! Would not recommend!! The one thing that I could say that was positive is regarding the staff whom were nice and friendly. Not to mention the lobby was gorgeous a huge focal point to them you can tell they take pride in the lobby area!!
- 3/5
I did like the room size. We thought the pool would be accessible but was closed and not filled. Restaurants arent convenient to walk to if your not driving. This property really does sit directly next to the highway, so expect roadway noise all day and night if your room located on that side of the hotel. Overall its just OK, not the best Doubletree I've experienced. Plus they didnt give us our warm cookies at all!
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful inside. And smelled reallyyyyy good. My room was beautiful. Stocked with everything I'd need. I was bummed to find to phone wasnt plugged in, so i had to go down to the front desk instead of calling them. But overall, i enjoyed it very much. Will stay again 10 outta 10!
- 4/5
Nice lobby, clean facility
- 4/5
Pool area was close. I booked reservation with impression that it was available for use. Everything else was good
- 5/5
Although the decor of the property was very nice and clean, I did not like the idea of paying to park and yet they tell you that parking is at your own risk. The idea seemed like a conundrum and I didn't understand what I was paying for. Nevertheless, the customer service was very nice, and the property had a nice smell and seemed really clean. I also liked the fact that they were proactive and made other arrangements for the guests who wanted to swim .
- 4/5
It was nice
- 4/5
The pool was closed and it was 90 degrees out
- 4/5
Only thing was we had to use the stairs and parking wasn’t to good
- 5/5
The man bartender was very welcoming! Also the 2 twins at the front desk plus the man at the front with the Rolex was very nice! My 1st time coming to Houston & I’ll always pick this hotel
- 5/5
Beautiful clean and welcoming
- 5/5
I love how convenient it was to all the places we needed to be.
- 3/5
There was no mini fridge and were told we’d get sent one but that never happened. Our restroom door didn’t close and we were told we would get moved rooms but that never happened. The pool was also closed without a heads up about it being closed until we checked in. The staff did offer to give us access to the pool at hotel next door but it was nowhere near as nice as the pool this hotel had closed for service.
- 5/5
Nice stay already booked again ! Rooms are fine, dining /lobby space beautiful
- 2/5
Never have I stayed at a hotel where you have to pay for parking and continental breakfast! Our door to our room was broken and anyone could have gotten inside.
- 1/5
I changes rooms 3 times. Old. Smelly. Disgusting. Loud.
- 5/5
Great stay only issue I had is that my room phone didn’t work
- 3/5
Requested extra towels and did not deliver until the next day when we had to ask for them once again. The phones in the room did not work. The staff was nice and friendly. Front desk was very kind and serviceable. Frankie and Samantha were very helpful.
- 1/5
Poor service and unfriendly staff
- 3/5
Room and hotel was nice but pool did work. Also you have to pay for parking.
- 5/5
Very clean & very friendly worker

The property was very nice and so was the room. The staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating for all our needs. 10000/10 recommend and we will be returning

The lobby is stunning and the staff at the front desk were great. But the room was average. It had a musty smell and it wasn’t very clean. The windows were dirty and also some of the furniture looked like it could be updated. Also the pool was closed and i didnt get an email until 2 days before flying out. Which come to find out it was due to an incident that occurred there. It would have bedn nice to have different options of maybe sone credit. Also, the breakfast is expensive and not great. There’s not a lot of options and we didn’t even get coffee.

I love everything about this location. Very convenient. Rooms and hotel is very clean. Very quiet and relaxing. The interior decor is so beautiful.

Also they didn’t make our beds which feel and did t relish our towels which is unacceptable. I called to report it and was told that I couldn’t get any heard I didn’t place the order the day before. I asked if they can bring me fresh towns immediately bc I was in the shower and they said they have to wait until stuff arrived to do it or I have to come down and set it. For that reason I won’t return.

The hotel is dated, pool non-operational and closed off. Mirror in the bathroom was cracked, cabinet had a silver tape in place of a metal strip. It’s location is right next to the highway, very noisy. The heat/AC unit was extremely loud, which affected our sleep. Sugar and coffee were old. Not enough towels and no hairdryer. The customer service was fine, provided house keeping with towel and hairdryer after request.

It was a really bad decision stay there…. Looks like a cheap hotel, very bad food… smell on room awful… And the cherry of the cake at 3 AM fire alarm start ringing everybody in the hotel had to be evacuated Just because some guest was a smoking in his bedroom… The hotel didn’t even issue an apology!!!

The shower door, shower head, mirror light, toilet paper holder was all broken. Coffee was never refilled during my 4 days stay. Bed was only made once.

Not worth the money

This hotel is definitely not living up to the Doubletree standards! Check in was a long wait time with only one person and she was backed up dealing with other occupants. My room was dirty and I had to be moved to another room. There’s a highway near the hotel and all you hear is cars and noises. The front desk staff stated there was no non facing highway room to move me too. My worst experience ever! The hotel constant has its banquet hall rented and the elevator being occupied and you have to wait longer for one side to come down. I don’t think it’s the worth the money.
