Reviews
The hotel staff is frequently praised for their friendliness and customer service, and the breakfast is often highlighted as a positive aspect. However, there are consistent complaints about the cleanliness and condition of the rooms, as well as issues with the air conditioning and parking fees.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Delicious breakfast
- Rooms need updating and cleaning
- Air conditioning and parking issues

The staff were all very friendly including the front desk and the ladies at breakfast. I appreciate the very clean room and the fact that it didn’t smell because this is an older hotel in The Galleria area. I booked a king suit and definitely worth the space.

Galleria area is always beautiful, hotel was average for the area

The room layout and happy hour. The omelet Very outdated, pool was dirty, breakfast was very limited

Breakfast was good. The price was good, but both of the elevators' were never working at the same time, which caused long wait times. The sofa in the room needs to be replaced.

They definitely doctored the photos of this place. There are cosmetic upgrades, but the bathroom needed a serious overhaul. The hotel itself is pretty old. Additionally, the fire alarm went off three times because “things burned in the kitchen” or something. That made zero sense at 1:15am. There is also a very high deposit that was never mentioned until I checked in.

Had bed bugs I my room this place is going down

The location!! We were stuck in the elevator also this property is outdated needs to be updated and the jucuzzi water was so dirty !! Yuck definitely needs a better up keep on this place !!!!!!!

Convenient location Not too many varieties for breakfast and need a ticket for omelet which you can only get 1.

Staff was extremely nice. Elevators were very slow.

Property is worn, low toilets, furniture is worn and needs replacing. Staff very helpful. Refab would do wonders for property. Needs more handicapped parking.
- 5/5
Exceptional location walking distance from Galleria and trails. Restaurant parking in some areas were challenging but we made the best of the situation.
- 5/5
Good location and facilities.
- 3/5
The bathroom appeared clean at first glance, but the tub looked dingy and had clearly been repainted in several areas. The sink faucet was also misaligned, leaving visible gaps, and the sink stopper was broken, so it had to be removed for the water to drain properly. Overall, the room was clean enough for the price, but it did not meet my expectations. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool, but the water was freezing cold in the morning, making it unusable for us, which was disappointing. The elevators also need repairs, they closed on more than one guest during our stay.

Great location, nice room. There was construction going on, so the lobby was a bit crowded.

The Premium floor room I was staying in as a constant bad smell coming from the (un-used) bathroom, I assume from the vents, the furniture is very old and uncomfortable - the bed headboard was a disaster. It looks very old and outdated. Embassy Suites lost an annual customer....
- 4/5
The hotel was clean, the bed comfortable the pillows were great. Pool clean and hot tub excellent. The only down side in my room was the tub/shower controls. The knob was falling off and it took 2 men and a boy to shut it off without dripping. I think the bathrooms need to be updated and the hotel will be great all around!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and wonderful breakfast. Will recommend this 100%
- 2/5
The staff was nice, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was decent but not as good as other embassies I’ve been to. The location was in a good place right by the mall, shopping centers and various places to eat. 1, Parking cost 25/night. 2, The breakfast could have more items like at other locations. 3, the rooms need updating. 4, the elevator is slow and feels like it needs service. 5, the after hours kickback needs better items to snack on, & needs more then 2 complimentary beverages like other locations.

The hotel location worked for us very well. The area is well-maintained with a lot of restaurants and shopping malls in the walking distance. Hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good and the hotel provided the Happy Hour every day with drinks and snacks. We will definitely recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly. The bartenders Diana and Karen are awesome! We had no complaints besides the pool not being available specially when you have little kids. They really need to work on that. The breakfast is awesome the best I’ve had in any hotel. All the staff are super friendly and they do an amazing job!! Keep the amazing job staff with the great customer service and how clean the place is 🙌 please just make sure the pool is fixed asap

The location was great as well as the hotel. Some remodeling needs to be done on the bed frames but other than that great stay. My issue is still with booking.com

- 3/5
Staff is attentive and do everything they should or can for there guest, they provide a good breakfast, and drink vouchers, but the hotel itself has AC issues, wasn’t cold, rooms are out dated, and need repairs, headboard had holes, along with the mattress, sheets coming off the bed, door to the bedroom wouldn’t close.
- 5/5
Customer service was exceptional. From the check in to the happy hour - the staff is awesome!!
- 4/5
The entire time we stayed not one person came to clean out each day. We made sure no notice was on the door. We had to ask daily just for clean towels.
- 4/5
Clean room, bed is comfy but headboard need replacement as it not aesthetically pleasing to the eye knowing this is within a Hilton hotel chain so pls keep the brand to be fabulous and popular to what it’s been known for and not tainted.Breakfast is missing some essential to some like no bacons/sausages unless it was incorporated to the omelettes for a cook to order and my favorite yogurt or boiled eggs which for some people might be a healthier option for a breakfast is also missing to start a great morning.Staff are great and welcoming but needs improvement for housekeeping especially in taking care of the smell and cleanliness of the hotel mainly the ground or guest restroom which can leave a lasting impression on their guests that can make or break the hotels overall rating or reviews.Cleanliness is a big deal for a comfortable stay and it just being polite and being respectful of one’s personal space once a guest decided and chose to stay in this hotel so pls be mindful in this area. Thanks and overall it was a great overnight stay though!
- 2/5
Our room was clean, but a lot of furniture was torn up. The hot tub did not work the entire time we were there and the indoor swimming pool was freezing and we did not have hot water last night. We had to wait till the morning to take a shower after swimming, which was gross.
- 1/5
The sink and the toilet were not draining the whole time. The indoor pool was dirty, cloudy and-extremely cold. The a/ c is not working properly. The worst experience ever
- 4/5
As others have mentioned, the hotel is dated. Needs a remodel but for location and price it was good.
- 2/5
While the location is in walking distance to The Galleria mall the hotel is in need of a renovation. Everything is old and outdated and not worth the price per night they ask for. Staff was amazing and attentive
- 5/5
The cleanliness as soon as we walked in. We enjoyed everything so far
- 2/5
Nerds a good cleaning hot tub didn't work and air conditioner in room barely worked.
- 1/5
Place was not well maintained hot didnt work and room air conditioner barely worked.
- 1/5
The poor staff at the front side oh they didn’t give you another key. No! And I mentioned to you and you didn’t mention it either. They thought it was funny that the guest had to walk back down to have the key activated again. Poor poor communication skills. The general manager Marko at sage rd in Houston promised me 5000 Hilton points for a horrible first night. This is by far the worst embassy suites I have stayed in. Fix the phones and the showers and get new headboards. !!!
- 3/5
I believe the front desk staff could show a bit more judgment and customer service; with just a little flexibility, they could really make a difference.
- 0.5/5
And even has the audacity to tell me that they didn’t have access to the new emails because they were in the process of changing ownership Everything and left me stranded even though I paid for everything in advance but kept telling me that booking.com didn’t pay them So I I was stranded 1500 miles from my home And forced to fine a hotel and pay significantly more at the last minute because on top of that the hotel was o rebooked even though I paid almost 2 days in advance

Convenience
- 3/5
The rooms phone did not work and they did not get it fixed after requesting. Food was OK, not great, Room was OK not great. Overall we were disappointed but just one night.
- 3/5
Had to pay for parking. Deposit was more. Both soda and juice machine was broke for breakfast. All they had was water and coffee.
- 2/5
Only nice think was the view and location of the inside and close to things but parking was horrible. The elevator door shut on my 9 year old daughter and knocked her to the ground hurting her, if she didnt have her suitcase she would have gotten really hurt and you'd be getting a call from my lawyers! Especially if I got crushed and hurt while pregnant!

I’ve always loved the embassy suites and the room that the suites allow you to have. A separate living area and a bedroom area. We have always found to meet our comfort standards. Realizing that this is an older property that was in desperate need of an upgrade. The furniture in the living room was old and stained as was the carpet. The bathroom needed a complete overhaul, especially the shower. The shower was not clean and full of leftover hair from maybe the previous guest. I always bring extra cleaning supplies for cruising, but had to use them prior to our cruise to clean the bathroom and wipe down surfaces in the hotel room. The towels were also overly used and needed to be replaced. I expected more from this hotel, as the area that it was in, with a very high-end shopping mall right around the corner.

While the location is excellent and your front desk team was consistently welcoming and professional, several issues during my stay significantly impacted the overall quality.Room: Unfortunately, the room’s location—adjacent to the laundry room and a malfunctioning ice machine—resulted in continuous noise and inconvenience. Upon arrival, I noted there was no security peephole on the door. The in-room phone was nonfunctional for the entirety of my three-night stay, despite an attempted maintenance visit. This made communication with staff extremely difficult, forcing me to visit the front desk in person for ALL requests. (Wi-Fi pw, extra towels, wake-up calls etc ) Additionally, towels were inconsistently textured (soft to scratchy), and I ter noticed a permanent sticker displayed on the television stand instructing guests to retrieve ice from the front desk, which detracted from the room’s presentation.Dining: Breakfast and evening reception offerings were below expectations for the Embassy Suites brand. The buffet food was lukewarm, coffee weak, and juice unpalatably bitter. The omelets were made to order but lacked substance, and breakfast meats were not visibly presented, requiring guests to ask staff specifically. The evening reception selections minimal, wr chose to dine elsewhere after the first day.Additional Concerns: The elevator service was notably slow. The $25/day parking fee for an open, unsecured lot accessable to a busy street was unexpected and concerning

My sister and I were in town for the "ice event" in Houston. I inadvertently booked the wrong Embassy Suites and did not purchase trip protection because I was literally sitting in the parking lot. When I realized what had happened I called the correct Embassy to see if the reservation could be transferred. I was told it could not, but that she could "cancel my reservation". I told her no, that we would make the 45 minute drive to the correct hotel. When I arrived to check in, she had cancelled my reservation and could not retrieve it. She charged me an additional night and so got the money from the 3rd party reservation and the one I had to pay her for on the spot because she cancelled my reservation. Oh and then she wanted to charge me $45 to park in the parking lot for one night. Bait and Switch. The hotel was grimy. Peeling paint, torn wallpaper, room service trays littered the halls, glass in elevator was disgusting. Breakfast was nice and staff was lovely in the restaurant. Not my usual experience at the Embassy. If it wasn't for the entire town shutting down, I would have gone elsewhere. Bad experience.

Hotel is in deplorable condition and anyone expecting Embassy Suites class will be disappointed. Breakfast area was so cold everyone had to wear coats. Find another hotel until this one is fixed.

This property was really a disappointment. I usually really enjoy the Embassy Properties, this one needs a makeover! The pool was closed for maintenance, no coffee in the hotel lobby, the water dispenser in the lobby had a rusted screw in it, the elevator was broken. The room (529) was so unclean, the bathroom had hair residue from previous guest, the headboard is pealing so bad, and nightstands were filthy with old food residue! I do travel with wipes! The front desk stand weren’t warm and welcoming!

The vicinity The hotel only has one "working" elevator. The furniture was dated and stained. I didn't want to sit on it. The door did not close by itself. We had force it. The headboard scratched up. There was not a working ice machine, but they were giving out bags of ice in their market place.

Location + Initially, we were given a room filled with construction materials. Then, in another room, we were greeted by an unpleasant odor. We reported all the shortcomings to the staff: the water in the toilet was constantly running, the flush tank was not working, there was no hot water in the shower when using the showerhead setting, and the cabinet door was falling off. But the promised repairman never showed up.

The premium suite does not worth it, it is the same suite size and furniture just free snacks and soda drinks. Had to pay $50 room fee and $75 upgrade fee to get the premium suite.

The hotel needs some TLC. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the furniture is worn with holes and stains, the beds are like sleeping on the floor. We booked a 2 bedroom corner suite. We checkin and come to find out our corner sweet was given to somone else. The listing through Expedia is misleading, there are no 2 bedroom suites at this location. The kids were unable to swim in the indoor pool due to the celling falling in...this information was not disclosed at the time of booking. Very disappointed. The room was not cheap either..$300 for 1 night. Called Expedia to see if they would at least offer to refund half of our stay and we were declined. Our stay is stressful enough, due to our trip being booked to help family with a recent death. I have been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the beginning of the year. Having 2 bedroom and 2 seperate bathrooms was important to us..my daughers and husband need to use separate restroom facilities so they are not exposed to any of my bodily fluids due to being on chemo. We will never stay at this hotel again and will use a diffent app to book a hotel stay in the future.

We specifically chose Embassy Suites because of the indoor pool, which was meant to be a main source of entertainment for my son. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to find out upon arrival that the pool was out of order. That was a major letdown. On a positive note, the gym was open and functioning, which was appreciated. There were a few other issues during our stay. The elevator was extremely slow, and the shower water pressure was not good at all, which made for a less comfortable experience. Overall, the hotel itself fell short of expectations, but Cydney’s outstanding service truly stood out and helped soften the disappointment. She was absolutely the highlight of our stay.

The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was truly outstanding. However, the rooms are showing their age; the headboards were literally disintegrating and are in need of an upgrade. Additionally, it felt unnecessary to charge guests for parking as there seemed to be ample spaces. Overall, it was a good stay, but a few refinements would make it great.

Check-in was easy. The hotel has changed some I now have to pay for parking which I had never experienced. Also the indoor pool and jacuzzi were out of order. The breakfast is still phenomenal. The rooms are a little dated and stuffy now as well. But overall we had a good stay and I would go back.

So booked the room and say the charge that would be owed at the property as normal. And I assumed there would be a refundable deposits for any consumables and such. How ever they changed me $35 a night to park in there parking spaces and then tax and fees for that what a joke and a rip off I am Hardly getting any of my deposit back and on top of that they had extremely rude guests that were very loud in the lobby area until 2 in the morning. Very disappointed

Hotel was alright, only one elevator worked and no ice machines on the floors, not complaining due to the price I paid though
- 1/5
The room was dirty had to change twice. Non working pool area, the elevators were constantly getting repairs and everytime the elevators stopped it felt a cable would have broken. The lady at breakfast had a poor attitude after messing up omelet order and blaming it on me.
- 5/5
Great stay and very accommodating
- 2/5
Breakfast was okay
- 4/5
Room was clean and the front desk worker was awesome
- 3/5
I rated my stay at Embassy Suites a 3. The staff was very kind and accommodating, but there were several issues throughout my visit. I wasn’t informed that the pool was under construction until arrival, and the plumbing/drainage system was poor even after switching rooms. At breakfast, nearly everything ran out at one point, and some fountain drinks were unavailable. I also experienced slow tub drainage and initially had a clogged sink in the first room. In addition, the elevator doors didn’t have sensors, and they closed in on me before my husband quickly hit the button. Overall, it wasn’t overwhelmingly pleasing, but I also wasn’t completely dissatisfied.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and hospitality is great
- 4/5
Everything went well, except that i choose the hotel for the indoor pool and it was a bummer! it was out of order!!
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful and room size.
- 3/5
Most power outlets were not working, shower hot water was not hot enough, mattresses were worn out, bed head boards were peeling off, wet bar faucet completely loose.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly, the room was clean but had some Micheal cosmetic defects that could use addressing. The best thing was the amenities - breakfast included which also had an omelet station, an indoor pool, and it's pet- friendly. We booked mainly for the breakfast, pet allowed and the overall ratings.
- 1/5
The elevator was broke. Only one side worked and it was veryyy slow. The pool was closed under renovation which was not told before booking. The ac in the room barely worked, room temperature fan. The shower has mold on the tiles. Highly disappointed.

Unexpected fees over $300 at check in. We stayed elsewhere in the same area
- 5/5
Very nice suite, comfortable bed, good WiFi, great location for shopping & dining.

All the above! There was a concern with the trash containers in the lobby area that were over flowing for some reason! Also we had no soap in the tub soap dispenser!

I recently stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria - 2911 Sage Road, Houston, TX, 77056 for 3 and paid for Premium Suite, 1 King Bed, Non Smoking (2 Rooms) and was overall pleased with the cleanliness of the room and the convenience of the location. However, my experience was marred by a serious security lapse in their paid parking lot, which has left me frustrated and out of pocket. Upon check-in, I inquired about the parking fee, as it’s not always standard for hotels. The front desk representative assured me that the charge covers private security patrols, emphasizing that this measure keeps vehicles safe on the premises and provides peace of mind for guests. Trusting this explanation, I opted for the paid parking and left my rental truck there overnight. To my dismay, the next morning I discovered that my truck had been broken into. Thieves had smashed a window and rifled through my belongings, causing damage and forcing me to file an insurance claim and disrupt my travel plans. Despite the promised on-site security, no one seemed to notice or intervene during the incident, which occurred right in their lot. When I reported this to the front desk, the response was sympathetic but lacked any meaningful resolution or compensation beyond basic incident reporting. It’s concerning that guests are charged extra
- 1/5
The staff at the front desk has the worst customer service skills. I’m concerned she hates her life. It was so hot in the room, the air didn’t work. We bought a chocolate bar at the mall, it melted in the room, with the air on. We called down to tell them how hot it was, and we were told maintenance was gone. There is a brown spot on the pillow!
- 3/5
Only one elevator worked Parking fee needed to be included upfront instead of when you get there And incidental fee need to be upfront
- 2/5
Friendly staff but the hotel is in need of renovation. The air conditioner in the room didn’t work well, the bathroom tub/shower had rust on the chrome, and the bed was uncomfortable.
- 2/5
The breakfast menu was very limited and the quality of food is inferior. Embassy Suites used to be a class above most other hotels but has gone down in every way...A/C does not work...Happy Hour used to have a good variety of food, no longer...Breakfast used to be very good with lots of of options and quality food, no longer. We will never stay at this or other Embassy Suites in the future.
- 2/5
Staff was very rude and charged us for parking when there was no where to park because they blocked off a huge section for a "party." Party never showed up. Also the room was awful, did not look like the pictures and the worst thing of all... No Hot Water!!!
- 3/5
The hotel lobby is nice, however the pool, elevators, and rooms need updating. Everything is old. The bathtub also had rust in it.
- 5/5
Real nice room. Very comfortable
- 3/5
While everything is excellent, just two things have affected my stay a bit more—no hot-water shower during my 3-day trip, and only one elevator is running.
- 5/5
Everything is good!!!!
- 1/5
Did not get a room key, so I had to wait on someone to take me to my room. They didn’t change my linen sheets, just made the bed.
- 1/5
Pool was broken planned to use it but couldn’t. Only had one working elevator with warning sign saying doors slow to open. Last at check out was rude and wouldn’t let us check in. Only when a shift change happened did the next front desk attendant let us get our room. Floor of one working elevator was used as garbage can and food was left on the one working elevator for all 6 floors for over 24 hours. Water spills were on floor in center courtyard of building for over 48 hours and signs and rope closed off this area. When we asked for a refund for our parking fee of $45 since pool and elevator were not working we were given a business card to call management front desk said they could not do anything. We had to wait for about 15-20 minutes to get an elevator to the fourth floor and anytime we took the elevator it took forever. And the one set of stairs were designed a a fire escape since they did not have keycard access and exited outside the building designed for going down and out only way to go back up was to prop door open to staircase. Still in the process of trying to get a hold of manager for a parking fee refund.

Lady at front desk was rude, not helpful and she wasn't willing to compromise.

It's a very nice place. Easy to get around.

- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Convenient location and quiet area. Next to the mall. Clean and decent size of the rooms. Excellent breakfast. I definitely recommend and will stay here again.
- 3/5
The room was clean, the breakfast was good. We stayed here over 8years ago and it was a little dated then… still not updated. Sofa bed mattress needs replacing and the sofa itself could use reupholstering. Elevators felt a little unstable and only one was working while we were there. Good price, considering the breakfast and it was clean- just not a great condition of the furnishings.

Last time using this property
- 4/5
Clean room and excellent breakfast
- 3/5
Smeared sheets, blood tainted twoles, the carpet has never been cleaned for years probably. The design is more of a motel style where all rooms open inside the dome. Outdated furniture, no one picks up rooms service calls, the restaurant has limited menu and only opens for dinner.
- 2/5
The outlets for charging tablets and phones were loose. The shower curtain rod in the restroom was loose, and the plate was missing a screw. The restroom door lacked a push button for locking. The couch was stained. During the manager’s special at night, there was no beer on draft, and the bottle beer was warm.
- 1/5
Yes..okay breakfast...I will leave it at that..I was taught if you don't have anything good to say don't say NOTHING!!!! Still waiting on a call from Hotel!!!!
- 5/5
I will book again if i travled there

NO KID SEEN
- 4/5
Had to change rooms twice because of ac problems
- 4/5
Everything wasalmost perfect about this property including staff and location but the property itself wasnt great. Tge gym had a water leak, the pool ceiling is rusting and falling apart with water dripping in the pool, and the ladt thing i noticed was the elevator, we almost got stuck in, it took literally about a minute to start moving after pushing the open door button then closing it. The lobby was beautiful and breakfast was great, would stay again but a shame for the other issues.
- 2/5
I walked into my room and it was 60 degrees. I tried turning up the temperature on the thermostat, but it seemed to make it worse. I called the front desk and they sent someone. He identified that a switch was stuck and fixed it, or so I thought. After thirty minutes it still wasn't a comfortable temperature, so I moved the thermostat to 76 degrees. It started to get colder again so I shut it down and slept in athletic pants and a pullover. Also, most of the outlets did not work in the room. In addition, the bottom of the bathroom door was rotted out. I won't stay there again.
- 5/5
Excellent room size and great breakfast option to start your day. And of course, walking distance to the Galleria!

- 5/5
I recommend staying at the Embassy Suites. I had a great experience.
- 4/5
This is an older hotel, well worn, but it has a certain 80’s charm. The staff wasn’t overly friendly and there was no coffee in the lobby in the morning. They did have spa water which was nice.
- 3/5
I really appreciated the early accommodation but only 1 elevator works and it was really slow and an inconvenience and I wasn't made aware of the $35 parking fee. I did address both matters with the hotel.
- 5/5
Service is top tier
- 5/5
Great food
- 5/5
The parking garage was not easy to get in and out of with a full sized truck.
- 5/5
Our stay was really excellent especially as your hotel was pet friendly, which is important to us. Really overall excellent, especially for spur of moment medical appointment.
- 1/5
So, not that it was an issue but no where did Expedia state that there was a $500 deposit on the room. Then as we got into the room there was a foul smell as soon as we walked in, and blood on the sheets and not just the bed on the couch on the towels and on sofa bed. The young man working said i wasn’t allowed to get a new set of sheets for the 2 beds because the house cleaning wasn’t there. He really didn’t seem to care much, Blood is a biohazard…point blank it should’ve been solved then, however there was a very nice young lady working the next day and she switched us rooms which i really appreciated, i believe it started with a C. But when we moved rooms we were charged a smoking fee, I went down there and told her we do not smoke and that the only things that cause steam or smoke is my girlfriends straightener/ curler and our steamer. I still have yet to get my refund on the fee. there is only one elevator for the 6 floors and it’s maybe 6ft wide. As i do appreciate the young lady’s help i do not believe i will be returning to any embassy suits ever as I overheard the other guests stating as well in the elevator.
- 4/5
Hotel room was clean and the staff was accommodating. The main problem I had was the elevator. I stayed at this hotel 9 months ago and they stated the elevator was being repaired. It still has not! There is only 1 elevator that is very slow and the doors get stuck when attempting to open. It literally takes 10+ minutes to get up or down. Unfortunately you can take the stair because there is no access from the 1st floor! That is a shame and ridiculous that a hotel of this stature has this problem. 6 floor hotel with only one working elevator really!
- 5/5
I loved the indoor pool and the breakfast buffet was top tier!
- 5/5
The restroom rested The hotel looks rundown in important condition, but the staff is amazing
- 5/5
I appreciate the staff for allowing me to check in early. She gave us some great advice for a concert we were attending. Although our room temp was a little warm, we called and maintenance went in right away!

- 2/5
There was black mind in and around our room. The hotel staff themself were very nice. But the hotel felt unclean and there was mold in multiple places.
- 4/5
Breakfast is great room clean bed amazing I was a great steak. It was just a few things like the cooling down hot tub. I’m not working properly. That could’ve been fixed. Other than that. Everything was great. Of the elevators were a little funky took forever for the door to open at one point in time we had to pry it open.
- 4/5
Good choice
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Food was nice. Bed was perfect
- 5/5
Need more walk in showers available.
- 5/5
This scenery was amazing.
- 5/5
Embassy Suites Hotel always the best place to stay.
- 4/5
Only one of two elevators were working at the time. It increased wait times everywhere throughout the floors while using the elevator.
- 5/5
Exelente staff and bar service
- 3/5
The bed mattresses are pretty horrrible, they’re super hard and uncomfortable. The bath tubs had residue from other people that had showered there before. The jacuzzi was broken and only started to get worse’s on my last day being there. Only one elevator is working right now and there’s no option as hotel guest to access the stairs.
- 2/5
There was only 1 elevator working. We have our parents who cannot just walk down 5 flights of stairs every time. The stairs could not be accessed at every level or from inside the building. All of this was extremely inconvenient. To the point that it delayed our events for a wedding excursion and caused our party to be late.
- 2/5
Muy viejo y sucias las alfombras y los muebles
- 5/5
Property was excellent
- 4/5
Elevator slow only 1 working.
- 2/5
The stay was short and we had no idea we had to pay 40.00 to park where we were already staying. So never again!! There was way too much chlorine in the pool made my kids sick!
- 3/5
I did not like that the floors were not vacuum at all. I was there fir 9 days. Also the tub leaked the toilet handle was broken. Then we had a leak from somewhere where the floor was soak and wet I had to use towels to absorb the water at the front door. Other than that the staff was great and very helpful.
- 2/5
Only 1 elevator worked during entire stay and long waits to get downstairs.
- 5/5
Daughter cut her toe open when opening an exterior door. Front desk staff supplied me with bandaids.
- 3/5
The hotel needs refurbishment. To begin, there was only one elevator in operation and that elevator was having. Problem with the door. The room smellled musty but fortunately the A/C worked fine but the motor to the unit was located at the entrance to the bedroom and thus noisy all night.
- 3/5
One side of the elevator did not work the entire time, and no one was working on it. The bed headboard had peeled which needs to be replaced, the couch had plastic coming out of it, and the iron didn't work.
- 1/5
The room snelled dusty and moldy. The dust was in my throat. I couldn’t sleep. I notified the front desk about this. Please contact me about this.
- 4/5
Breakfast
- 3/5
The water temperature in our room was boiling hot, had a difficult time getting it warm to shower! The breakfast was awesome, happy hour appetizers were great as well. There was INLY one elevator operating during the WHOLE weekend!!!!!
- 5/5
Enjoyed our mini-suite. Did not love that the one working elevator was slow and a bit bouncy.
- 5/5
I love the free managers reception, I love the free breakfast which has a lot of options to choose from. Thank you so much! I really appreciate y’all!
- 5/5
Awesome!!!
- 5/5
Rooms were spacious and clean. Check in was fast and staff was friendly. Understandably, wear and tear, the elevators were not operating correctly. Other than the elevators, the stay was great.
- 4/5
The bathroom needed some repairs and the roof in the pool was leaking. Jacuzzi water was dirty.
- 4/5
The hotel is an older hotel. Only one elevator worked. It seems humid in the hotel. They have nice aspects like the seating area in the lobby and coffee and water all day. But you can tell its an older hotel. The couch in our suite had zero cushion. The omelets were good the other breakfast items were decent. If you need ice you have to go down and get it in tbe lobby. The area seemed decent. Houston traffic is awful. Add extra time to each thing you do specifically for that. Even going to the mall which is very close by because it took 30+ min to get there find a spot and walk in.
- 3/5
The room was very clean and nice. Only 1 elevator was working and it was a full house. Was really a pain
- 2/5
When I arrived at check in time I paid a $50 security deposit but did not finish checking in because our room was not ready, we left to our concert and decided we would check in after. When we got back to the hotel the staff member charged me again for the deposit but instead it was now $160 when I asked about it she stated she did not know why it was that amount but that “I would get it back anyway” when I went to my car to get my bags the main automatic doors lock which I understand for safety reasons it was late but it felt like I was standing at the doors for a while even after knocking a few times and the attendant was at the desk the whole time
- 3/5
Saturday and Sunday, the ax was acting up again. And the headboard in our room was in poor conditions, it was worn out. The restroom had no vent or it wasn’t working. Oh and the gym was out of order. But workers were great and friendly.
- 4/5
Is a very nice hotel and a very good location everything is close and convenient 😃
- 3/5
Overall for our needs it was a good visit. Having only one working elevator made it challenging especially with the hotel being sold out due to local events happening.
- 5/5
Love staying at the Embassy
- 2/5
There were a few leaks throughout the hotel and only 1 working elevator.
- 5/5
Great quality and good location. A 5 minute walk to the Galleria mall.
- 5/5
Breakfast - Made to order
- 4/5
BUT THEY NEED TO WORK ON THE ELEVATOR
- 2/5
Just the breakfast
- 5/5
Very beautiful and classy
- 5/5
Only one issue i was assigned a room that wasnt ready and had to be move. Was quickly taken care of.
- 3/5
The stay was fine, the room was clean and the staff was helpful. However, when we first arrived they were experiencing an issue with the water that was making the shower water so hot it would melt your skin. The staff was accommodating and changed my room. Also, my card was randomly charged 2 different times during my stay for smoking fees when no was actually smoking. When I complained to front desk the attendant apologized profusely and said that they are very sensitive and often go off for simple things like hair spra. They refunded my money and we went on our way.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 2/5
It is an old building. The sofa is old and dirty looking. This hotel could use an upgrade
- 1/5
This location was the worse Embassy we have ever stayed at. We had a few parents cars get broken into, including mine. When we spoke to the front desk, we were told they dont have cameras anywhere outside. Really thats ridiculous, we were parked right in front of a side door. DO NOT STAY HERE!!
- 3/5
I always try to stay at embassy suites when it is possible - this hotel definitely needed some updates. The shower was old, and the paint inside needed work. The happy hour was very limited as well. Although front desk was always super nice and had toothpaste ready for me since I forgot to pack mine.
- 5/5
The people was wonderful. The room was nice and clean comfortable. The breakfast was great.Complimentary drinks should have been good but I don't drink.Thank you very much for pleasant stay
- 5/5
!
- 4/5
Overall good, great location, although the hotel needs some "updating", some of the furniture really needs to be replaced, walls painted and rooms need to be renewed.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Very close to the mall like 5 minutes walk and the breakfast was amazing.
- 4/5
Our room reeked of mildew & was very cold when it was a 60 degreeday. Its was cold Best part was free breakfast
- 5/5
The location is perfect — just a short walk to the Galleria, which made shopping trips super convenient. One of the highlights of our stay was the bar and breakfast area. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with a wide variety of options, and the bar in the evening offered a great place to unwind. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Houston!
- 4/5
Check in was a little long due to only one person working. The young man working was excellent he just needed some assistance. Complimentary breakfast was excellent.
- 1/5
Room had roaches and was musty
- 4/5
liked that the hotel is very close to the Galleria. I thought it was well located, but the hotel needs to be renovated. We didn't have shampoo or soap, I think they need to check before guests arrive. Another thing that disappointed me was the elevator. I understand that you were having problems, but it's difficult to carry things up the stairs. I really liked the breakfast.
- 4/5
Nice and quiet area, could walk to places for dinner.
