Located 1 to 2 miles away from downtown, the Rooms are well equipped, clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed for 5 days and had a great experience. Would love to come back and stay whenever possible.

The room was spacious and clean, with every corner spotless. Bed was very comfy and water pressure was great! Kids enjoyed the breakfast waffles and we loved the variety of coffee options. There was some street noise that couldn't be avoided but not too bad. We had a car but I don't think there were many dining or tourist activities within walking distance. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

It was very nice room with everything I needed and the staff was kind. The air conditioning was super cold! It was wonderful. I didn’t eat the breakfast because I didn’t want to get up early, but they did have options to get breakfast which is nice. I only stayed a couple days but I’d definitely stay again :)

Stayed here for a quick trip one night to see the Astros play Requested a bottom room and were able to accommodate. Room was exceptionally clean . Would stay here again .

Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Romeo. Definitely staying there again in the near future. Highly recommend. Also they have someone there 24/7 at the desk. looked over my trailer when I left there over the weekend. Thank you!

The room and property were extremely cleaned and very well maintained. The only thing I would’ve liked that wasn’t available was coffee in the room. But, it was easy enough to go to the office and get coffee.

This is an older but well kept property. The runs have been updated and are comfortable.

Friendliness, cleanliness, toothbrush with toothpaste available was really a big plus. Hand soap, body wash, lotion, and shampoo all available and not the little soap bars. I live here in Humble, but was attending an event downtown and wanted to be close to it. This location was great for that as well. Will definitely refer and utilize again.

Friendly guy at check in. This place was ok for a one night stay before flying. Solid room, at a decent price. Bit noisy.

This is how you run a business! The property is in very good condition. Everything was clean and spotless. The breakfast was modest, but everything you needed, really. The best part of this stay however, was the staff. They went above and beyond to help us with our needs and were extremely accommodating. The only downside is that the hotel is situated right next to the freeway, and it can be quite noisy during the day. However, at night the traffic calmed down and we had no problem sleeping through the night

At first I got a room with smoking smell even after overnight and was not happy about it. The front desk changed my room and the new room was good. It had a refridgerator and microwave in room, and also provided tooth brush, a small breakfast area, which are great considering the price. The bus 54 station is nearby and subway station is walkable, so it oa relatively convenient transit to downtown.

The gentleman at the reception was very particular about giving us a great room. He actually gave us keys to two rooms, asked us to take a look and pick the one we liked. :-) This was very nice of him. ROOM : Excellent, looks like they have all new equipment viz. fridge, toilet, bathtub, etc. Everything spic n span. I loved the wall fixed soap, shampoo, cond, and lotion. LOCATION : Not a great surrounding area for walking around, but very safe and clean. we are here to visit the town, so worked great. Not far from the city center, comfortable beds and clean rooms. The inn is next to a very loud road. The noise from the traffic is quite loud in the room too but mostly during the day so we didn't have trouble sleeping during the night.

Only issue i had was the thin walls. I got woken up around 3 am because of cars revving their engines. Not the motels fault.

Room was cleaned every day which was great, AC worked perfectly. Only wish the TV was a little bit better, quality was below par and weren’t any streaming options to sign into. Overall great place!

Room was very clean and the lights in the room were fun. Despite being right on the highway, the room was quiet. Very convenient location to museums and restaurants. Price was very reasonable. Breakfast was a little sad and the waffle maker was a bit smelly so we passed on breakfast but the coffee was not bad. Having a large mirror by the bed was a little creepy.

It was exceptionally clean. Rooms and hotel looked recently updated. I felt very safe. Staff was very visible on site. I was surprised they even offered a little breakfast! I Would definitely stay again. Great value l!

The property was very close to the convention center and the price could not be beat when comparing to all other hotels near the area.

The only issue that we encountered is the pillows are horrible

We were very happy with this property. The rooms were clean, the breakfast bar was small but had just enough for us, and the location was very conveniently located. It was next to downtown, about 5min drive and no more 20/30min away from all other major tourist spots. The front desk person was even nice enough to make more waffle mix when they were out (when we went to get breakfast towards the end of breakfast hours). They also cleaned the room and replaced towels. The hotel was very quiet, minus being next to the highway.

The check-in process was quick and easy. The check-in clerk was friendly. I did not get an explanation of the layout of the facility. The booking mentioned a hottub/sauna, but could not find it. The rooms looked nice, but the smell was not appealing. The beds only had 3 small, square pillows that did not provide much head support. The peep/eye hole on the door had toilet paper stuffed in it for some reason. The room only came with two small children sized towels, not adult sized. The water pressure was extremely lacking and the shower head was spraying water out the threads. The bath tub was slippery with now anti-slip strips on the bottom of it. We ended up not staying there the second night.

I must confess, when I was looking for lodging in Midtown (and didn’t want to spend a ton to just stay overnight), I was a little leery about reserving a room at Downtowner Inn. How wrong I was! Again, it’s not Hotel Zaza or even Hampton Inn… so getting expectations in line is important. But for the price, a traveler gets more than their money’s worth. No frills, certainly. Sparse amenities. But the room was clean, spacious, and sufficient. The towels and pillows were not excellent quality… but they dried my body and held my head up perfectly fine. The microwave and fridge were newish and both worked great. A great find!

There was hair behind the bathroom door and mould on the ceiling. Bed was so hard. Posting said soundproofed room but our one was not, you could hear all the road noise. We booked for two nights and then they rang after night one to see if we were checking out.

The person who welcomed us was extremely kind, friendly, and always available to help with anything we needed — that kind of attitude really makes a difference when you’re traveling. The motel is conveniently located close to downtown, which made it easy to get around and explore. The entire property has been fully renovated, and everything feels fresh and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, perfect after long days out. Breakfast includes waffles, cereals, different types of coffee, juices, and more — simple but complete and definitely better than many other places we’ve stayed at. One of the best motels we’ve visited so far. We would absolutely stay here again.

I will say I was very impressed with this inn. King size bed , and very spacious roomish vibe. The staff was great and very accommodating, and its legit right off the highway, and very close to downtown. If you coming down as a pair or even alone, i would reccomend this spot to you. Definitely will stay here again

The receptionist was polite and professional. Room was clean, comfortable and updated. Being right off the highway made it convenient to get around Houston and it wasn’t too loud from inside the room. Perfect for a quick two night stay!

The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows felt like they were stuffed with socks. There was no water option in the vending machine. The "breakfast" consisted of only 4 items: cereal, oatmeal, coffee, and milk. The only reason i gave this place 2 stars is because the AC worked. I would not stay here again.

Minimal breakfast/continental, small area to grab food. Rooms and facility very clean, looks newly renovated & well done. Front office/desk guy was very nice. Easy check in/out process. Convenient location for Midtown outting. I would stay here again & recommend this place.

I had booked a stay with breakfast included, but there was no one available to speak with in the morning. The only thing I saw for breakfast was a cereal station, but even that was locked. I wish I had felt as secure as the cereals, because they were locked behind metal bars and completely unreachable. As a result, I paid for a stay with breakfast included but did not receive breakfast for two days.

Lots of loud talk in foreign language in the morning and they knocked on our door and called us 30 minutes before our departure. It’s not a bad value but it’s a flip beds fast place.

Room was nice. Only one sheet on the bed though. They called me on the phone when someone came to drop something off to my room thinking I had an extra visitor, but it was actually just me coming into my room which was a little weird, so in that regard security is good.

The room was clean, but there were a few flying insects. The bed was comfortable and the shower was pleasant. I had very little interaction with the staff, but they were professional.

Nah man they lied on Expedia!! There’s no hot tubs in every room probably not in any of these rooms. I’m a chain hotel girl anyway but we had just drove 20 hours and were looking to soak in a hot tub!!! We brought our own covers and sheets and thank goodness we did!! Because we slept on our own sheets i wasn’t even going to attempt to sleep on whatever that was they had offered! And the air conditioner blows right in your face all night so it’s like be hot or be sick. There’s also not anything anyone that normally eats hotel breakfast available we didn’t even bother we finished our food from the steakhouse. And they don’t do anything fresh they covered it up in the front hall with a room divider. It’s like they’re trying to trick people into booking off Expedia because they’re literally lying about everything. There was a tub!!! An extremely unsafe tub in the morning after I slipped in the tub and hit my head so hard I have a concussion!! There’s no safety bars no anti slip mat the floor and the tub are slippery as ever!!! Went to the hospital and everything I should have called an ambulance to their room!!! Also the man at the desk in the morning lied after I told him I fell and asked for an incident report form. He pretended not to speak English. How are you working front desk and can’t speak English? Do not stay here unless you know what you’re booking I mean shyt it works for what it is but I wish I would have just went to the Hilton!!! 😭
