Loved the customer service, kindness of the restaurant staff morning and evening. Cleanliness of the hotel and room. Felt safe!

Good hotel

My king room was good sized. The AC was a bit noisy and shower water pressure was weak. Hotel is noisy from all the planes taking off. Wifi was slow. Outside pool and hottub was awesome. Parking was decent. Staff was always helpful and friendly. The manager on duty at time helped me when i ran into issues with the loud, screaming people next to my room. The hotel restaraunt food was decent but pricy. The starbucks inside was overpriced. 5USD for a small drip coffee. Typical is 2.20. Overall 3 / 5.

They have a nice gym & pool. Good breakfast, above average dinner. The staff is helpful. The shuttle drivers are nice. We had a different shuttle driver take us out of kindness to our hotel. I’d call that Texas hospitality. I would stay here again.

The property was fine but check in was terrible because EXPEDIA DID NOT UPDATE MY RESERVATION CHANGE. I worked with Khushi in your customer service to move a reservation, paid an additional fee and they DID NOT make the change in the system so the Doubletree did not have my reservation it took about an hour to get it straight but fortunately they were very helpful and I did not have to pay for the room again.

They let us have a late check-out and stored our luggage for free. Also had an airport shuttle. Excellent staff and service. Nothing.

I had a pleasant day. The room was adequate and I was there to see my son graduate the United Airlines training.

I arrived late at night. Didn't have a chance to use the pool.But from what I could see through the glass, it looked like a very inviting place to hang out. The indoor gym was fully equipped and had everything I needed for a morning workout.

About 2 miles from IAH, free hotel shuttle pick up and drop off. Very convenient. Guests received bottles of water and warm cookie upon check-in. Very convenient for an overnight stay if you have an early flight to catch the next day.

Everything and everyone was excellent.

Room was spacious and clean. We arrived early and staff was able to a room ready for us. There's a bit of airplane noise being so close to the airport, but.... Free shuttle to the airport was a real bonus.

Very nice and quiet hotel. The staff was amazing, esp in the morning. We arrived late, and there was a slight delay in shuttle service from airport, but it was worked out. The nighttime people were ok, but the daytime people were amazing. Every member of staff went above and beyond acknowledging guests! What a great team! Shuttle driver in the morning was also part of the awesome team, as well as what I think may have been the general manager working in the restaurant food service area in the morning. Thank you for getting back to good ole service in a genuine way! Just plain kindness and courtesy! Thank you!

Restaurants were fine, unfortunately, too cold to take advantage of outdoor amenities. Shuttle service from airport difficult. Your vans did not display the proper name of property, so after waiting for a long time, because we didn’t know it was the correct van, we took a taxi and paid.

Very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel was overbooked during our stay, and they tried to change our room, from what we originally booked. I was not impressed. Also the rooms are super dated and could use some sprucing up. For the price/ I would personally look elsewhere for my next stay.

Area of concern: Toilets could be updated to be more accommodating for seniors. The seats are TOO LOW and the flushing function a little slow. Please install taller commodes for easier access to avoid leg cramps and pain.

One of my favorite places to stay, I loved the outside furniture but actually I love everything about Doubletree, it’s always been home to me I love everything about it

It’s convenient. Room is cleaned and comfy. Hallway smells dog pee.

The airport free shuttle was perfect and very easy to negociate.

My stay was good, but the check-in process started out bad. They did not have my reservation in the system. No problem, but when its obvious you have rooms already available, it didn't make since to me. I stayed at a different hotel earlier last week in Houston and received an early check-in with no problem.

Rooms were clean, staff was excellent. Only downside is I didn't have heat working in my room during a bit of a cold snap. Overall, great hotel with amenities close to the airport. Would definitely stay again.

The room was nice however, the bathtub was very slippery. I actually slipped and almost fell down. You need matts or rubber strips for safety.

Restaurant on site was open late and it had good food. The staff in the restaurant was super nice and friendly. There was musty smell in the room and in the lobby.

If you are not a united worker you are not treated quite as good. We sit on the shuttle for 35 minutes because the driver needs to wait for two united employees. Then when you get to the double tree the desk trys to help the united employees before you the paying customer not only to the airline but the hotel as well. I will not stay at a hilton hotel again. Just go to the marriot it is closer and better.

The room was very very hot, could not sleep bc of hot the room was. We complained but they told us it was from the humidity, I am from Louisiana. I have never had that issue I know about humidity. Also other rooms felt cooler than ours and we asked them to please move us to another room and I did not.

Overall the hotel and staff were pretty good. The only thing that bothered me was the condition that the towels and linens were in. I only have photos of the pillowcases, but everything needs to be upgraded. There were stains. I addressed my concerns to the staff, but nothing was done to make me want to stay again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree- Houston International. From the moment we checked-in the staff was friendly and accommodating. The customer service is excellent. The property amenities are a nice touch. There’s plenty of dedicated space to relax, unwind, and play. We loved the pools and cabanas as well. Thank you, Doubletree!

It’s close to IAH and has a couple dedicated shuttles every half hour 24/7. Its age is showing in some areas but the staff is friendly and helpful. A good spot close to the airport when you need one.

We stayed there to catch an early flight. Staff was nice and gave us warm cookies when ww arrived which kids loved. It waa easy to leave the car parked there for a $7 fee per day and hotel shuttle took us to the airport both ways! Very convenient

The pool definitely needs an upgrade,… there was no way we were swimming in that. i think they could’ve kept the poolside chairs cleaner and the games. but honestly i would stay here again.

Overseas for six weeks, all my cards were hacked so I didn't have a working card to present at check-in. The staff understood and removed that requirement from my pre-paid reservation. Super service!

This doubletree does not provide glasses for toothbrushing. The room I was assigned had only two paper cups for drinking. It’s comparable at the level of a cheap hotel. In addition, the water came out of all the bathroom outlets lavatory, toilet, bathtub, was yellow! I reported to the front desk. Several folks came claimed it was due to some fire drill took place early in the day. These did not make any sense to a normal thinking person at all! The on duty manager asked to keep the water running . I kept it running for over a half hour, it was still yellow. In some previous reviews if this hotel, this was mentioned as well. That means this is not a new issue. Some front desk staff were very friendly. However the facility was not maintained in good condition. The hallway looks fine while the room feels cheap and badly maintained. At least the hotel should provide some cups for toothbrushing instead forcing the customer to drink coffee and brush teeth using the same paper cup.

Hotel staff were not very friendly and seemed rushed despite there being no apparent rush of customers. The water from the faucet, shower and toilet was brown at times, the power went out and room service refused to answer although the front desk attendant explained it does exist. We will never return, as there are other hotels in the area that likely offer better service. At a very basic level, this hotel did NOT deliver. The “customer service” was not good. Please do better.

Room was a suite but smelled, had carpet missing from hall to bathroom. The toilet took nearly 10 minuets to fill and flush also got clogged, also room had a table fot 10 look like a conference room instead of suite.

The only saving grace for this property was the lovely staff who checked us in …. After that it was all downhill … all I can say is property is adequate but definitely not worth the price tag … I’m a Hilton member and stayed there for that reason but won’t make that mistake again

Loved how quiet and clean this hotel was. The outdoor pool was a huge bonus for me. Towels provided, quiet, lots of seating and lounging. I felt like I had my (almost) own private pool all weekend lol I went in October, I’m sure it isn’t like that in the “summer” it was still 33c out. I had to drive a bit for dining and shopping but appreciated how close to the airport it is. Definitely will stay here again

Comfortable but not as upscale as one would think. I enjoyed the staff and the bar, my bed was super comfy. Shuttle to the airport ran as designed and right on time.

Front desk was awesome however found a roach crawling across the floor. Maid left garbage in room after cleaning and pushed dirty towels under the vanity and took three days to get a working coffee pot. Nice pool area but didn’t want to sit on dirty patio furniture.
