Overall, ok for a night stay for a layover. Clean, but could use renovations. Bed was super soft, but not in a good way. Just old. AC needs repair, at it at 62 and it still about 70. Staff was helpful.

If you are travelling by Hobby airport, this is a good pick, otherwise area is not recommeded Dull area. Old hotel with old facilities.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. We were traveling with children and were disturbed by loud, graphic, and inappropriate noises coming from the hallway and the room next door late into the night. It was so excessive that it sounded like an adult movie was being filmed. The situation made our family very uncomfortable and significantly impacted our ability to relax and enjoy our stay. We expect a hotel to provide a family-friendly environment, and this experience fell well short of that expectation. I hope management takes steps to address noise complaints more effectively in the future.

The room was clean. Bed and pillows comfortable. Warm cookies on arrival was my grandsons favorite part of the stay. Plenty of easy parking and airport shuttle that runs all night was awesome.

Hotel was nice. I would probably stay there again. Only negative was finding out you had to pay to park once you checked in. Very large area and only a quarter full. It really wouldn’t have been a negative if I was booking and they were up front on the fee.

It was a short stay. I need the shuttle to the airport but they never mentioned that they don’t ride to Bush and the driver drop me off to the nearest one like 5 min away and took off… I understand that IAH is far but clarify that your shuttle doesn’t go there…

We only stayed one night and due to a late flight got in past midnight. I still got a cookie! Since we were headed to the Galveston port the next morning I was grateful we were 5 minutes from the aiport!

Check in and out was smooth. The property was well maintained. The rooms are a nice size. No mold, smells or bugs. The bedding was very clean and comfortable. Loved that the room came with cable and a mini fridge, no microwave though but that was no issue cause I was only there for a night. The only downside was the WiFi for me. Paid $5 for the WiFi but it made everything buffer so I really could have did without. There was also a security guard that monitored the parking lot which I loved cause the hotel is right by the airport.

Construction was horrible around hotel and difficult to get in. I was offended that I was charged $13 to park in a parking lot that was empty when it was difficult to get in in the first place.

Nice comfortable clean room. The Landing has great food and a happy hour which is awesome. The free shuttle to and from the airport is a great amenity. Will definitely be back! Not staying long enough!!

When searching for hotels near the event venue on this site it advise it was close to the location, which was not true. This location was almost 30 mins from where I needed to be which was really disappointing.

It was fine. It was cold the day we were there so had to stay in hotel all day. Restaurants were just average. No real complaints though.

Had to pay a vending machine for coffee ($5). Not really worth it. Things got busy in the lounge. Waiter practically forgot about us. Had to flag him down after a long wait to get our check.

The shuttle leaves for the airport every 15 minutes twenty four hours which was a big plus as we left at 4:30 a.m. in less than 4 minutes , we were being dropped off! Would stay again!

There is nothing particularly wrong but this location has seen better days and some mediocre upgrades - the kind where you can the trim and paint and things are shoddy or not aligned. The restaurants were either closed or a ghost town - but I did have decent evening meal there. So no real complaints.

The airport shuttle was very convenient, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the workout room had plenty of machines and free weights. This is a great hotel for anyone who wants to be close to Houston Hobby.

Staff was nice, the shower was a bit moldy, but not bad. The main issue was my truck tailgate and tail lights were stolen out of the parking lot. Be careful parking your car or truck there.

This hotel is extremely outdated! The worst Doubletree I have ever visited. It clearly has the same esthetics from the 90’s. The main elevator is small and slow. I asked for a room away from the elevator and the receptionist put me RIGHT ACROSS from the elevator. There was only half a roll of tissue in the bathroom and no additional rolls.

Lovely breakfast. Good, safe location. . The in-room safe is new and large enough for a laptop. GPS brought us through a residential district. This made me uncomfortable. I understand there are requirements to shut a lot of the numerous entrances to the carpark, but please do not route your guests through your neighbors' streets, it is unnecessary and causes bad feelings.

Close to the airport, had a shuttle service to and from the airport. For the most part very nice facilities. It was an older building but it appears that it had been renovated. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was super clean but smelled kind of musty. The main floor didn’t seem to have the smell.

The hotel is undergoing a complete remodel. I'm sure it will be wonderful once complete. However, the mattress was terrible and there were cracked tile in the bathroom. The furnishings were a bit dated.

It was clean. Staff was courteous and friendly, the front office and housekeeping! And helpful. Having to pay for parking. The ice machine was broken. Having to come to the first floor to use the microwave. The lighting in the room could be better.

Probably good for the business traveler that is only staying to be near the airport, but not a good option with kids. We were there for a track meet and wanted to gather in the lobby as a team to watch the football games, and at 7pm we got a noise complaint (we had been mindfully watching the noise and making sure our kids weren’t running around). For a Saturday night, it was kind of disappointing that we couldn’t have a team gathering without feeling the need to whisper when using the common spaces so early in the evening.

The hotel front desk manager cancelled my room, but did not communicate it to hotels.com. When I asked for my room back because I did not cancel it, I was greeted with hostility and accusations. They were no where near accomodating and would not even listen to me to try to understand what had happened. There clearly has been zero customer service training for this staff, and they did not understand how to use basic vocabulary. When I asked the young girl how she did not see that this was a problem, she accused me of threatening her. We have a larger group scheduled to stay here for a week in March, and we will be contacting our entire group to cancel as well as telling ALL if our stock show friends not to ever stay here. These girls were vile and disgusting the way they spoke over me, and had zero interest in listening or trying to understand. It is also worth noting that they blamed the entire issue on their front desk manager and took zero accountability for the hotel's mistake. Ultimately, I paid for a night at a hotel that I did not get to use. We had to book last minute at another hotel close by. This entire front desk staff needs to be held accountable for this and all of them sent back to a customer service boot camp because they need desperately need it. The way they speak is disgusting!

Hotel in need of updating, near the airport which I wanted for an early flight. Absolutely no dining options unless you eat in the hotel, or Jack box. If you need to do any shopping it's $15 or more Uber ride away.

Unfortunately visitors are required to use the dirty freight elevator. It seems the regular elevators have been down for quite a while as the signs directing us that way look quite old.

Our aircontioner wasn't working properly and went from freezing cold to very warm. The day of our departure to catch a flight neither elevator worked and we had very heavy suitcases. I told the front desk of our complaints. Due to the elevator issue we missed our flight and had to take another flight.

We stayed overnight before a flight. We were not expecting much from an airport hotel but the Doubletree exceeded our expectations. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room had a great view of planes taking off and landing.

For the most part, this property serve the need. Just an FYI it is right off the runway of the airport so you will definitely hear planes coming and going all the time. Our room had a slight stuffy, stale odor. I ended up having to get some Febreze to help the smell. The bed was somewhat comfortable in the bathroom was clean the chair in the room had stains on it so we didn’t sit in it at all. Not sure if I will stay here again. The positive:the cookies were great.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very accommodating. I called when I was nearly three hours away and inquired about early check-in, which I was able to do. The food that is served on the buffet is good. You can also order off the menu. Overall nice clean facility, Great Staff, and Quiet. Will definitely book here on my next trip to Houston.

I feel like it’s a bit unfair to review an airport hotel because it really just has to be a decent place close to the airport to get you to your early flight the next day. The hotel was undergoing renovations so I can’t fully review its amenities. They seemed short staffed at check in, but the woman at the counter was nice and did her best. The beds were comfortable and we made it to our flight the next day. So this hotel achieved what it was supposed to!

Dirty rooms. Broken chair arm. No cold water. Coffee stains outside on the wall in hallway. Rude black assistant general manager. Old and not cleaned regularly. I’ve stayed at very old hotels but clean. Old and dirty are not intertwined.

A free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was awesome. Free cookies upon arrival were awesome. Check in went smooth. They are under construction but heard nothing. The airport is right there so expect jet noise. The shower water smelled for about five minutes then went away. The beds were comfortable and no issue checking out. And another free shuttle back to the airport.

Visited the hotel bar/lounge for a couple drinks. Looking at the check, amounts didn't add up. Total was several $ more. Asking the waitress she said eack drink with ice is $2 more. Never heard such a thing! Just want people to be aware since they don't tell you ahead of time.

Under construction but unclear on if main door still in use. Rooms are very outdated!! There were drop ceilings with discoloration in the bathrooms. Once a room above used the bathroom,dripping water inside the wall could be heard for quite some time. Floor overall was very loud . Front desk was very professional and nice,as was shuttle service. But for being a Hilton hotel and the price paid it was very disappointing and overpriced!

First night the room next to us was loudly talking until 5am and then I called front desk and they sent security and then the hotel was accommodating to move us to another room the second night.

Every staff member from front desk to restaurant to random workers walking by were extremely pleasant & happy!

In the middle of remodel. The check in staff were not friendly at all. The room smelled like a sewer and they had plug ins to eliminate the door so they know they have an issue. I will say Kerry in the Bar was awesome and greatly appreciate her great service!

We arrived early and they were able to get us a room before check in time. Provided an awesome cookie during check in. Breakfast was very good and dinner in the bar was very good!

Excellent to stay convenient to the airport. They also have a shuttle to the airport.

Staff was very nice. However all surfaces in the room were full of dust: Dresser, night stand, TV etc.

The staff was really friendly and helpful especially with the fact that there was a huge Microsoft outage at this time and the staff had to always walk up with us to open our doors for us. Convenient parking, everything was easy to access. Would love to visit again.

Lovely hotel very near airport—perfect for relaxing after cruise and before flying. Evening restaurant was not available and no spa aside from that nice hotel

Check-in was average. Key didn't work when we returned to our room on the second night. Was told that they had been having trouble with the key cards but didn't offer any information on if and when it would be fixed. Let them know how inconvenient it was to get all the way up to our room, just to have to come back down to get the key reactivated. Employee seemed unfazed by this. He didn't even offer an apology for the inconvenience. Just excuses....

It was a lovely place. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the restaurant.

My experience was excellent. Some construction was going on but did not interrupt my stay in any way. Very close to the airport made it convenient for me.

We had a great stay before a cruise at the doubletree. Very convenient from the airport!

Had issues with the shuttle service. Was assured they could take us and pick us up from a local restaurant. Waited for an hour for pickup before they finally said they weren’t coming and we had to hire a ride back

The hotel is older, needs a refresh. The area around the hotel felt unsafe, no real businesses or places to eat. They do offer transportation to the airport and that went smoothly.

The facility, employees, breakfast area was very warm and inviting. The room was very nice but it could have been cleaner.

Free shuttle to and from the airport as well as local restaurants. The staff at the front desk were extremely personable and helpful.

Room was nice but the bottom of the shower was as dirty and the toilet didn’t flush. Other than that I would go back. That’s a small issue to me.

We were very satisfied with our stay. The staff was very professional and helpful. We're from California and our drive was very long and tiring, so it was great to stay in a hotel room that was clean and comfortable. We'll be staying there again in a couple of months when we return to see my grandson at the hospital in Katy TX.

Property was close to airport and they had a very welcoming staff. We had a very late arrival and the shuttle driver was extremely friendly and helpful. I believe his name was Marcus. Yet, all the staff was very friendly.

This property was very clean and beautiful on the inside but the gate on the outside was broken and hanging off the hinges. I’m sure it was due to the terrible weather. Also would have liked to be able to use the pool. Staff said it was closed because it needed to be cleaned. Also probably due to the weather. But me and my family had a great experience staying here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
