Convenient location, easy access to freeway, centrally located. Breakfast was good, service was good, pool looks clean, rooms and bathroom are clean. Only issue encounter was AC blowing hot air in the summer and can’t turn the unit off or change temp. Not sure why.

Clean rooms, beds were firm and comfortable, staff was friendly and the complimentary free toothbrush on request came in clutch. Overall, really happy with the stay for the price range. Would come again, please keep up the great service and quality

Mia at the front desk was especially exceptional at her job. I experienced an issue with the bathtub in my original room, and she immediately took action without hesitation to switch my room so I would not be inconvenienced. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and positive attitude truly stood out and made a stressful situation effortless. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure guests felt taken care of. It is clear this property values hospitality and customer experience. Overall, this was an amazing stay with an outstanding team, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Houston Galleria area.

Stayed for a long weekend and returned every day to fresh towels and a refreshed room.

Have stayed here previously, and was impressed by staff, value, location and overall atmosphere. Return visit was just as satisfactory. I will not hesitate to stay here again.

TV was basically out. No network channels or EsPN. Tried to. all down to Frontdesk to see if any remodeling was going on, that was making noise, and couldnt get anyone to answer. Other than that it was a good stay

I've stayed at the hotel several times and it used to be a prime location for me and my friends. It has taken 30 days for me to receive my $150 incidental charge back and they were responsive but stopped. We will be changing hotels going forward.

Our stay was wonderful. The lobby was clean and modern, the room was comfortable and the beds extremely comfortable. We stayed in a (very affordable) one-bedroom suite and the housekeeping staff set the sofa bed up for us and made it every day. It was nice having space for my mom and I to sleep separately since we had different schedules. Most importantly, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. We will definitely stay again on future trips to Houston.

Very loud in the morning on a Sunday after a concert when we were trying to sleep in just a bit.

This was a last minute booking but I enjoyed it. The room was nice and cozy. I received texts as a member checking in on me which was a nice touch. Only downside, which could’ve been me, big the thermostat was confusing to use. It was either free ing or very hot

The breakfast buffet was exactly what we get for free at places like Hampton Inn. For the price of this hotel and the price of the buffet, I expected better quality food. All of the tables are wobbly so if you touch them at all, your drink will spill. All of our luggage fell off of our cart upon exiting the elevator for check out and in the process a ketchup packet burst. None of the employees that saw this or walked by offered to help. It was me and my two kids. We forgot toothpaste but they were out. The room was clean and the AC in the room was cold. The rest of the hotel was HOT. The parking lot has a gate and an access code was given to us, but the gate was never closed so anyone could access it.

I love the amazing staff, the lobby set up and the bar and restaurant area as well as the rooms being completely beautiful and the location so close on the Katy Freeway near the 610 Loop. I don’t really have anything to say concerning anything I didn’t like. I really liked everything.

I had a lovely stay at the Crowne Plaza - it is next to the highway, yes, so if you are not used to the sounds of a city or cars this will bug you. The room was clean and modern, as was the lobby of the hotel. Breakfast food was amazing, didn't realize it was an order off the menu option and had presumed it was a breakfast buffet. Staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need a place to stay in the area.

This is a nice hotel in a fairly convenient location. The rooms are clean and they provide service every day. The staff is friendly. I wish they had a few more items in the convenience store like toothbrushes and such. Our room was facing the freeway and I recommend not doing this because it is EXTREMELY noisy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza. We rented a suite and it was the perfect room for multiple people. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly.

If you have a wheelchair or helping one the elevators will annoy you so much because there is only one elevator for this and once you push the button it activates all elevators NOT JUST THE BIG ONE. Multiple times the small elevator came and i had to go in a send it to the top floor. Running in and out of the small elevator just to hopefully get the bigger one is super annoying. The big elevator should have it OWN BUTTON. And CONSTRUCTION IS STILL GOING ON…. You cant even drive to the front… i had to park on this side push all my luggage across the whole facility just to get to the unsatisfactory elevator. The pool bathrooms are not done either.

i was inconvenienced with the work you were doing on your front door as it was innaccessible by vehicle and had to park in the lot and walk to register. this went on for my entire stay. other than that looks like you are remodeling still from my last stay.

We don’t think anyone would come here for the surrounding area. However, we found the staff, the service, and the facility to be excellent. We have no complaints, and we would definitely come back again.

I was moved to another room the next morning Andy shower pressure was low.. some of the amenities were not accessible I did not recall that being mentioned on this site though. Breakfast was mediocre with no offers of turkey meat products. As I do not eat beef or pork.

I was not so impressed.we had to switch rooms because the first room had a broken toilet and the shower had only hot water.the second room was on the second floor..my nose and eyes started running because of some allergies i think dust..

Average stay not worth the price

The property itself is all right, it has convenient location, room is spacious and clean. However when I tried to open the blind on the second day (using the normal force), the whole blind fell off, left me a bruise on one arm and a scratch on the other. I talked to the front desk, they sent someone to fix it quickly, but between the 2 staff at the front desk, no one showed any concern about my safety or even checked my conditions. Very disappointed.

Would have been nice if the hotel advised us that renovations were underway during our stay. Was an average hotel . The breakfast was about $20 per person . Located right off the freeway and had a few restaurants nearby.

Wonderful place, unfortunately we happened to come while they were renovating so we didn’t get to go to the pool, but they did offer an alternative at a different location. Bring your own snacks and drinks there aren’t any vending machines. Although you can purchase items on the first floor but you have to wait in the same line as people checking in to the hotel to purchase snacks. Other than that everything was great.

Property was misrepresented. Photos did not even remotely match the current state of the hotel. No mention of construction, noise, or debris. It is listed as being in the galleria but it’s not. Much better options are available.

Disappointed the hotel was under construction and not told in advance. I would not have chose this hotel (see pictures). Room is SUPER loud from highway noise and difficult to sleep. Traffic is heavy and goes all night long. The room was big BUT not able to take advantage the room since the kitchen was not complete. The bathroom need major work. The shower does not work properly-the shower head is broke and the water pressure is terrible. The room should have been discounted due to construction. The hallways were fifthly and full of construction debris.

Hopefully Crowne Plaza Hotel will credit the amount back but I won't know until maybe 5 to 7 business days and checking through my bank. I was told by the Male manager when I checked out that I was going to be reimbursed for my deposit and the breakfast fee ! They don't even offer complimentary breakfast that's ridiculous! Then when I spoke to the Female manager about our incident she offered us a complimentary breakfast vouchers but then in the end they still charged us for the breakfast! I won't be giving my Business to this hotel anymore ever Again !! And I actually rented it this spot because it was a last minute choice and it was my Birthday . I didn't think I was going to go through all that on my special day !

The staff, food in the restaurant, and our room was excellent and seemed to be recently renovated. However, because of that, our stovetop and microwave were not connected. Whenbwe notified the front desk, the maintenance person immediately brought us a microwave and explained to us the room needed the electrical finished and would be completed upon the completion of the construction taking place at the property. Minor inconvenience for us.

I liked everything about the hotel. It was a wonderful stay. I will use them again when I go back to Houston. --What I didn't like was that I paid at the hotel and got a receipt and it was 130$ less than what Expedia quoted me. I reported this with my receipt asking for the adjustment, and Expedia refused to refund my money.

Overall, a great hotel. Staff was very friendly including the great servers at breakfast, and the front desk was great too. Being along the I-10, the freeway noise is definitely a consideration if you are a light sleeper, so best to see if there is a room that is less affected. Overall, a good stay and would stay again.

However it took forever to get extra bedsheets and covers for the kids (was in the evening and kids were cranky) and also not having received breakfast vouchers for the kids and then almost being charged for extra breakfast makes me give only 4 overall stars.

Manager on nights was very disrespectful and was not helpful with solving an issue.

The staff was so incredibly helpful and considerate, asking if I had a room preference, and managing to somehow give me one of the most pleasant and quiet hotel rooms I've ever been in. The beds were clean, cozy, and so comfortable I seriously considered asking if I could check back in later for an afternoon nap. This hotel is very affordable compared to some others around the same area, and it's close to everything from shopping to food. Definitely going to come and stay here again!

I loved the hotel & front staff but unfortunately there was a marble table placed in front of the sofa in our room. As we were getting ready to head to the airport I jammed my pinky toe, into that table. My husband had to push me down on a luggage cart. Please for future accidents buy a wheelchair. Accidents happen! A wheelchair would’ve helped! Flights were missed due to me being unable to walk even put pressure on my right foot.

Normally stay at Hilton Honor locations. But for the high prices in this area in Houston, decided to try Crowne an IGA company. The rooms are almost half the price and they are bigger and comfortable. This will be my new go to in Houston. Very impressed.

Only 2 lesser issues: pool was being renovated so we were not able to use, hvac unit in initial room had failed so we had to insist on reassignment. The front desk staff was amazing. I appreciated the text messages to see if I was enjoying my stay or needed anything. Very responsive and accommodated requests quickly. However the restaurant staff/service could have been better. The property was undergoing renovation during my stay but nothing too noisy or worth complaining about. I would stay again.

Overall super happy with our stay. Was bummed that their restaurant was still under construction and breakfast wasn’t an option but I wish we could have stayed here for the 2 weeks after we bounced around to different hotels while we were in housing limbo thanks to mold.

1) The hotel location is right next to a busy highway and arterial road so there is constant loud noise of cars, trucks and motorcycles. I live in the city so noise rarely bothers me but this was really bad. 2) This hotel is under major renovation with dust, wet paint, orders of paint thinners on the guest floors, not to mention construction materials, trash, drywall crumbs, other rubbish all over the hallways. One would think the hotel will ask the contractor to clean up a bit before they leave for the day. 3) The fire alarm in my first room was chirping every 20 mins throughout the night. The hotel moved me to a new room because they apparently "couldn't fix the wiring problem", but I noticed someone checking in to the same room that night. 4) The second room I stayed in had a strong smell of BO and cigarettes. Then in the middle of the night, someone in the adjacent room (connected by internal doors) or hallway was smoking... I was of the understanding that this hotel was a non-smoking premise. 5) I checked out one night early as I simply couldn't handle the BO in my room. When I explained my experience to the front desk manager on duty, her response was "well, it's spring break and we have many leisure travelers right now staying on our property".... not even a single word of apology...

What a great little hotel. They are updating so the hallways were being painted and a little cluttered but the room was fresh and clean, in a couple of weeks it will look great. The staff is great and I ate in the restaurant two nights...yummy food. I will stay here again.

As always nice clean and comfortable

The staff are welcoming and very helpful. The room with king bed was very nice and comfortable. I very much enjoyed the plant based products in the bathroom. The food in restaurant was great.

Room was adequate. Clean and quiet. Upon checking out. Front desk lady lacked professionalism. She was conversing with another staff member about the stupidity of other staff members. They both continued to talk about staff like I wasn’t there.

Sink and tub filled up while using. Toile had to be flush three times before water would go down

My stay was actually pretty good! I did see a few people say that the noise from the freeway was bad but honestly, I could barely hear it and what I did hear was white noise. The staff was really nice and it was a very calm environment. It was super convenient to get anywhere and if you didn’t want to go anywhere the bar downstairs was a nice touch. I would give it a 4 out of 5.

I requested towels at 3p they never came so I went down at midnight and he said they didn’t have any so I had to wait until the next morning. Upon checking in she told me about them painting she didn’t tell me that they were going to be hammering the walls early in the morning so I didn’t sleep well this is the second stay I’ve had here and I think it’ll be my last my first experience wasn’t so great either
