    Around 12am, people banging on the door, ask us to open the door. Initially I thought they knock on the wrong door, but they keeps banging. My husband went to the door look through the peephole. 1 each on the side, 2 at the middle, black guys with angry looking, keep banging on the door. We did not open or talk to them. Finally they left. In the morning. My husband complains to the front desk young Chinese la dy. She said she personally escort them out. My husband said: you personally escort them out? I do not believe you. I think you are in with them.

    They have a no smoking sign on the outside of the building but they sell vape supplies at the front desk. The smoke alarm in our room was missing completely. It smells terrible. There was mold. Plus there was no hot breakfast on weekdays.

    So I’ve been to this property probably about 4 times and this visit was definitely different. Somewhat disappointed but first the complimentary breakfast was not the same. They had waffles, bread, some fruit, cereal and yogurt. Usually that would include freshly cooked eggs and sausage (mind you my stay was for 4 days). I had to go purchase breakfast outside the hotel. I was told to exchange my towels for new towels. The issue with that was she gave us back thin/rough small towels with stains on them including the big towels. The towels originally in the room were perfect, big, plush towels. I told her those were not the same towels we received in the room and she claimed that they ran out of the big towels. If you’re going to trade towels then it should be the same kind of towels. She pretty aggravated me because she didn’t even try to go above and beyond to accommodate something that she should already be aware of. There is mold in the showers and lighting in the room and bathroom was not enough. Other than that the price I paid for should have been maybe $75 or less because it’s like they cut a lot of extra amenities out and did budget cuts. The pool had debris in it so you wouldn’t feel comfortable getting in there. Unfortunately this will be our last time coming here.

    I did not partake in the breakfast as I had somebody make breakfast for me each morning that I was in Houston. She was a former chef so she feeds me well. I like the location as it is close to China town which is nice for both her and I. The hotel is in need for some TLC. The outside has places where the stone siding has come off, there is fraying on the hallway carpets, the elevator was hot and was out of order for a couple of days. The shower was very low pressure and was hard to wash in. There was a hole in the wall next to the closet and then a hole in the closet. At 100 dollars a night this should be better. I will check my account to make sure the 100 dollar deposit hold is released in full. My room number was 311.

    The location was great. I didn't like they put me in a room that smelled like dog when I didn't have a pet! They did move me to a better room that was very comfortable and clean. Worst part was not having good breakfast, just a waffle machine, cereal, and toast. Not worth the cost to stay

The fridge made a loud buzzing noise all night as well and the elevator was out. People were running all around the hotel. It was just a hot mess.

    Breakfast was ok established was clean kind staff. My room smelled horrible me and my daughter got a headache trying to sleep in room. Bed was comfy but the odor was foul and strong. Had my daughter in town for a college visit the staff said no other rooms to switch to I was very disappointed.

    Location to Bellaire is excellent. Cuts corners. We stayed multiple nights and found out of you do not request full room service, you have to take towels down to the front desk to get new ones. The new ones are the junk smaller towels they give you at the swimming pool! My iron didn’t turn on. After waiting a few hours and having to go back down and ask them for a replacement AGAIN, they claimed there was no replacement. I told them I would check-out and request a refund if that’s the case since all my clothes required ironing. They finally brought me another one….which was also broken!!! It turned on but had a crack and leaked water. When I asked the cleaning staff for another replacement, she told me to go back to the front desk. We will not be back. If you don’t run into any issues during your stay, then it’s OK. IF there are problems, good luck.

    I’ve stayed many times and I’ve always had a comfy clean stay . This last time , there were no little towels , room was very warm during the night . The AC wouldn’t get cold til it was down to 65, the first night the elevator was out and a big cockroach was in the RR . I think it was a bad time to book for me . Other than that staff is always great!

    That response was very frustrating, especially since we had a baby with us. We ended up checking out that night and moving to another hotel. We truly hope management sees this and considers issuing a refund, as we didn’t pay to stay in a room that smelled like weed. It’s unfortunate, because we’ve always enjoyed staying here in the past.

It seemed like the owner was trying to cut costs everywhere. The water pressure was low, and the water was cold even when we turned it all the way to hot. The room had very low lighting, the soap and shampoo were not very good quality, and it seemed the AC was running at an improper level in the hallways made it smell like mold. We didn’t try the free breakfast, so we had no comments on that. We stayed at this hotel twice but we were so disappointed this time.

The shower faucet didn’t have any pressure. When I called the front desk. The woman Sharma, was Very rude telling me to turn and move the shower head around till it works. When I told her no, it doesn’t work. She told me to stop being rude. It’s not rude to ask for a new room, and let you know what was going on with this one. Breakfast was stopped an hour before it was supposed to be. Was told, it’s closed when I asked at 8am. Was supposed to be open till 9.

They closed down breakfast almost 30 min before the reported end time. Didn't make any fresh breakfast items almost 45min before reported end time. 4. Only given enough towels for 1 person. Then has to return those towels before you were given another set.

It's just a standard cold breakfast, Saturday and Sunday are continental breakfast. Our room was cold. The refrigerator was cold. The microwave worked great. The pool was clean. The entire hotel was clean and my son and I had a wonderful two night stay.

    Pictures are nothing like what you see in person. Literally walked into our room and walked out willingly to take a loss on the room because there was no way we would be sleeping there.     The first room they gave us was full of Mold on the ceiling and smelled bad. Dirty stains were everywhere on the carpet. Then we asked to change the room. The second room still had Mold on the ceiling and mold in the shower. The girl at the front desk doesn't seem happy when we ask for a room change. She told us that they don't have many rooms available to change, and the rooms with mold will be given to someone else after us. Stay away from this place. The hotel is old. The night we checked in the elevator was not working supposedly was going to be fixed the next day and it never got fixed we had to carry everything through the stairs we had reserved for my moms surgery and it was a bad inconvenience making her take the stairs

I would say he is one unique and significant good review to me and my family. The shower would not work , it only dripped out and not like a regular shower . Nadina said “that’s how all the rooms are” no it is not bc I’ve stayed before and the shower was never that way. I asked to be moved to another room bc we needed to shower . She said it was not possible and it was full. It was not bc there were bookings online and ppl walking in to check in .     Didn’t stay due to condition of property. Lobby furniture is all stained, exterior of the building falling apart, when you walk-in it stunk like 10 cans of Lysol. The icing on the cake was no one was there at front desk to greet us. I had to yell “hello”.

    The room doesn't have enough light, the plug-in outlet for both side of the bed is not working, the sink water takes a long time for the hot water to come out, the curtain shower can't closed entirely to cover the shower tub, the safety safe is broken, the hanger only have two hanger and I can't hang enough for me and my husband clothes, the sofa looks dirty spot on it, and the bathroom tub is not clean with yellow stains.

    Don't come here expecting the "Comfort Suites" you're used to. Front desk service is terrible, foreigners that have no idea what southern hospitality or even common courtesy is; probably because they're located near the ghetto & have to deal with thugs all day, but when someone comes in dressed appropriately and speaks eloquently they should be treated with mutual respect. I chose this hotel bc it was a comfort suite, but regret that decision. The laundry machines only takes quarters, but they don't have quarters(?). The ice cream from the concession was half melted. The place smells like a hamster cage. They require a $100 deposit, so be prepared for that surprise (they should inform you during cart checkout before paying) I wouldn't have stayed here if I would've known about the deposit because there's nothing in these rooms worth it. The rooms don't come with any USB ports, the cable doesn't work on TV, the fridge makes loud noises, the A/C unit is 15+ years old, maids are obviously underpaid, repair/handyman are apparently incompetent, couch looks like a biohazard to sit on, bathroom amenities are non-existent. Now I have to wake up early to buy clothes bc I couldn't wash them and to take a shower at my gym after buying toiletries. This isn't a real Comfort Suite, it's a "Con"fort Suite and it's obvious by the responses they post on each bad review basically saying "it's our policy". That's right, it's YOUR policy not every Comfort Suites policy.

    I didn't check in i went to room that they gave me. it was in bad condition and dirty and smelled bad. The bathroom was dirty and outdated. I immediately asked for my deposit back and left. Front desk lady was very nice and kind so my review isnt about the customer services its purely about the hotels conditions. It looks like a druh dealer user hotel. No one on a business trip or family teip with kids should ever stay there.

    The staff are not the nicest. Housekeep ordered me to leave the room for room service . I refused. Housekeeping must be requested 24 hrs ahead. No real breakfast … breakfast is a total joke. Staff will not accommodate at all and only want to stick to their ways .
