Comfort Suites Houston near Medical Center- NRG Stadium

Showed up and they gave my reservation to someone else.... after an hour of telling them I am who I said I am. They finally called a boss and said to book me to another room (not the same kind I had booked... once I asked about refunding me the difference I was told they could put me in a double queen room no jacuzzi. (umm I paid for a king with a jacuzzi) told them to refund me and I would go somewhere else, they said gave me an upgraded room (best they had). The room seemed nice but the ac's couldn't keep the room cool at all and smelled very musty. Overall horrible experience.

Our stay was amazing! We were greeted by friendly staff and complimentary water&snack pack upon check-in. We stayed in a kind suite with a Jacuzzi tub that was clean and relaxing! Our bed was plush and comfortable. This room was exactly what we needed for our staycation get away! Clean, comfy and most of all AFFORDABLE! We definitely will be booking in the future

Friendly hotel, close to hospital in had numerous appointments. Clean pool. A good breakfast.amd places to eat within walking distance. Didn't read the fine print about an 100.00 dollar extra charge when I checked in. Wasn't expecting it.

I have stayed many times at this hotel and it's my favorite go-to when I have an appointment at MD Anderson (every 28 days clinical trial). The rate is fare, within walking distance to many restaurants, and always clean. This past visit the room was VERY clean, smelled great, and nothing out of place or in need of repair - I'm very picky on where to stay. I'll be back in just a few weeks!

Great location. Shops and restaurants in walking distance. The pool was clean and warm. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Halls were quiet. Room was cleaned every day. Staff pleasant and friendly.

Got in about 9:00. People were very nice. Parked in back which was fenced in. Felt good about that. Room very nice and clean. In a nice area with several restaurants close by.!

Booked a room here specifically to go to the rodeo but the hotel sold parking and actually way oversold so there was nowhere for me, an actual guest, to safely park my vehicle. My car was sideswiped and not only did the staff not seem to care, but they refused to investigate to provide camera footage so I could go after the person that hit my vehicle and took off. The rooms were nothing special but honestly having my vehicle wrecked with zero care from staff was the actual worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. So yeah 0/10 would not freaking recommend.

Very clean, secure, the parking and facility had security most of the day even at night… they cleaned our room everyday and brought fresh towels. Were very accommodating. The ice machine was down BUT they had people working on it so not too big of a deal.

Loved that the hotel was courteous to have free lemon ice water in the lobby and coffee to go throughout the day. Can be a bit worrisome to a degree.

We needed to check out early the morning after our first night and were told to contact booking.com and never got in contact with them. We should have been able to cancel at the front desk. Too much for senior citizens to deal with. We were not happy and disappointed. To my knowledge we were charged for the 2 nights. This hotel was super clean and so close to the NRG center that I walked to the event.

Right after booking the property I went to the property to check in and they told me check in wasn’t until the next day so the guy canceled my reservation well atleast that’s what he said and now it’s been days and I still have not received my money back for a room I wasn’t able to get . This site is a scam because I’ve been trying to get through to someone for days and no luck Rude clerk at desk. Made me feel unwelcome

The staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms and common areas are kept clean. Location is excellent with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Parking lot is well lit and was monitored by security while we were there. Overall a great budget friendly option.

Super close to nrg stadium. Shower pressure good but leaking faucet. Enough soap for 1 person. Sleeper couch trash. Suite in the looses of terms. Breakfast was ok but not stocked when we showed up with 30 minutes left.

It was ok Staff was horrible selling parking spots had to stay up late so that I could move car from out of front of building the manager, but was horrible about all decisions. Almost got my car towed from where the manager told me to park.

Rooms were fine. Awakened 4:30ish am to a loud alarm. Wouldn’t stop. First thought our alarm. 5-10 minutes. Stopped, started again. People talking in halls until we left @ 6:45 am. We were disoriented. No voice system telling us fire alarm, but false. If had been fire, we would be dead. No one left rooms. Need to upgrade system with voice

You couldn’t get much closer to NRG than this property. Staff was super friendly and property was clean. Neighborhood isn’t terrible, but we felt better about the enclosed parking lot with camera.

The room is clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast is good as reviews. However, my room was on the first floor, next to elevator and reception area. The service staffs started working around 3:00 am. They pushed carts along the hallway back and/or forth, talked to each other very loudly. The worse part was the fire alarms in my room and the hallway went off around 5:00 am in the morning. That really was annoying. Unpleasant stay.

This place is very clean! I mean, you always see someone cleaning something in the lobby, and the rooms are clean, too. I also liked that there’s food and stores nearby (groceries, pharmacy). It’s literally down the driveway from NRG Stadium, if you’re going there. The parking lot is a bit small and hard to navigate, but that’s understandable, given proximity to the stadium. (Parking in that area is a valuable commodity!)

Rooms were spacious , well kept and clean . And the location was so convenient for us. My daughter and I attended a Texans game that day and it only took us like less than 10 min to walk to NRG stadium . That was a big plus for us . Also staff was so nice , they allowed me to do early check in !! Awesome experience overall.

Not so courteous staff, a long line, additional fees for customers who have already traveled a distant and decided to utilize the establishment because of its close proximity to the stadium This is truly a form of price gauging, charging $50 for parking our second car.

The parking is a joke. There’s only three spaces upfront and everything else is in the back of the hotel where it’s dark and creepy. It was very unsafe and I wouldn’t even park there. The stains on the carpet in my room was disgusting. The tub was filthy and stained and instead of cleaning it they took what appeared to be white shelf liner and just put it on some of the bottom of the tub. It was gross. The room was very humid and even though the air conditioning worked it just made it cold and humid. The employees were nice, but it would’ve been nice to have been told that they offered a free breakfast. I didn’t find out about it until I was checking out.

Asked for a handicapped room. The shower chair collapsed as my husband was bathing! I had to get the stool from the sitting area to get him out of the tub safely. There are NO hand rails in the shower or stool area!!’ Otherwise the room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was fine.

I needed a quiet place to sleep between a meeting and my overnight shift, in a convenient location and this place delivered. My bed was comfortable, price was reasonable, and the front desk was friendly.

The shower was spotless, and the general cleanliness throughout the space exceeded expectations. The only drawback was the lack of complimentary toiletries—no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash were provided, so we had to make a quick trip to Target to stock up. The Wi-Fi login process was a bit confusing, requiring a passcode instead of a standard password, which took some trial and error to get connected. Aside from that hiccup, the stay was smooth and comfortable. Room was clean and spacious. Overall hotel is in good shape and seems to be in a safe location. Some really good restaurants are within walking distance even a large first class grocery store. 1.7 miles from MD Anderson makes it real convenient. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

There were ants in the bathroom and the elevator was scary, sounded like it was breaking.

our room door wouldnt properly close, you can tell the property was a bit run down, breakfast was okay, parking also wasnt alot even in the back so if you came in late good luck finding somewhere to park, they also didnt have an area to purchase drinks/snacks so we just went to target across the road

After having a double organ transplant at Houston Methodist in Fall of 2023, I have to come back every 3 months for diagnostic testing and follow-ups. We live in TN and always try to stay. The location makes it so easy for us to travel back and forth to the hospital. I enjoy sitting out on the bench in front of the hotel. It's generally a very quiet area, and I forget that I'm in the middle of such a large city. The property is always clean and welcoming. Our only complaint is the comfort of the beds. I realize that everyone has their own idea of what makes a comfortable bed, but for my husband and I, the beds are too hard. With that said, I'd still recommend this hotel to anyone who was traveling to the Houston area!!

This place is very clean, very large room with a lot of storage if you're staying for a longer time. The only thing I would say about the room would be a comfortability. The beds were hard and the pull-out couches were terrible. Not to mention the very flat sad pillows. I'm glad I brought my own. I would also say that the location is prime for a lot of different activities including venues. But it is very heavy with transients and homeless people

I stayed here the night before Metallica at NRG Stadium. It’s a great location if going to the stadium. There’s a Jack in the Box right behind the parking lot if you need food. Affordable for the night. I would stay again.

On the positive side, the location was super convenient — it was close to the stadium, which made it easy to get to the concert. That was definitely a plus. But overall, Comfort Suites offered a much better experience in terms of comfort and amenities.

We stayed here for a concert at NRG, it's easily walkable to the stadium and beats driving in or taking an Uber and dealing with the ridiculous traffic

It was just St an over all nice experience. The facilities are clean. Staff is nice, courteous and helpful. The rooms are good size. Beds and pillows are impressively beyond comfortable. I have a neck injury and the pillows allowed me to sleep soundly and wake up without neck pain.

Overall the room was ok. The air conditioning did not get the room all that cool. The bed was a little hard for my liking but I know that is a personal preference.

Stayed one night recently to be conveniently available to make an early morning appointment at MD Anderson clinic. There are several big pluses that come to mind about our stay. Super convenient free parking right by the back door, room was clean and fresh smelling, bed was comfortable and cozy, electric outlets everywhere, good lighting. A direct shot to MD Anderson minutes away. Not a Honeymoon hotel but perfect for getting in and out for your business

Bathroom door locked and had difficulty opening. Reported to front desk but they offered no help and kept repeating that maintenance person returns on Monday. I informed them that I checkout Sunday the 15th and no attempt was made to assist with dilemma. Luckily I managed to open it on my own and was able to collect my things.

This place was excellent

The room was spacious and the bedroom gave us privacy. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not very good, but I didn’t have high expectations for it. The service was all pleasant. I wish that the place was fresher smelling other than that very serviceable.

We specifically booked this hotel to use for the convenience of the shuttle to MD Anderson cancer facility when we arrive they said that the shuttle was broke and there’s nothing they could do to top it all off. We had no hot water for over 20 hours. The front desk would do nothing to help us and then they wouldn’t even honor a refund because of no hot water, awful service very dirty nothing that was on the website was fulfilled. No hot water and also no shuttle to MD Anderson. Complete disappointment would never recommend them.

The service was amazing the front desk attendant at check in was very friendly and helpful and helped out with a booking problem and upgraded our room to an amazing room at no additional cost.

We could not check in, system was down so we had to wait. There was no breakfast, no bottled water to buy near lobby. Room was at least clean.

This was the first time in many visits that we were puzzled about the breakfast selections. We were told that serving begins at 6 and we came down at 6:30. They did not have any hot items out. Shortly after they brought out some scrambled eggs and sausage gravy. No kind of meat was offered and no explanation as to why. Nice place all in all.
