There was a coffee and tea station available the entire time. Breakfast was great with a clean waffle station and variety of options, clean room and clean property. Easy parking.

Hotel needs a makeover for sure but it is still very clean and safe. I will be back. I enjoyed my stay.

Booked wrong airport Hobby instead of Bush. Contacted within 5mins of booking after realising my error. It was close to midnight when I booked after a flight delays and missed connections. They denied the cancellation. I tried again but they did not budge. Terrible long term business vision.

The remodel on this hotel is better than most. The property was mostly clean and fairly well maintained. The room and its amenities were nice and clean except the floor. The free breakfast was late each morning and was mediocre.

The property is ok for the price. The room was clean but the pillows were very uncomfortable. The rate quoted through Expedia was for two adults and a teen. Upon check in I had to pay an extra 10 because the “child” was over 12. The continental breakfast was decent and the shuttle driver was very accommodating.

Original staff member was very unhelpful and didn't want to explain anything to me. She just pointed me to sign postings and wanted to get out. Second staff member checked me in and still wasn't very helpful, but I was thinking whatever Rooms smelled musty and couldn't get the scent out of my nostrils. We checked out early in the morning at 5:30 to catch a bus. We got down to the lobby at 5:25 and was told we needed to be there 10 minutes early to catch the bus and had to wait another half hour to get to the airport. Overall I would not stay there again

Check in was fine. Purposely chose this hotel as there is a shuttle to the airport. While attempting to check out to let staff know I would need the shuttle, front desk staff placed a sign that they were unavailable while I was second in line. Please note the guests in front of me told front desk they needed a shuttle, and I clearly had my luggage with me. Ended up having to order a ride to the airport. Would not stay here again

The breakfast was ok. We enjoyed the breakfast burritos and waffles. Beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful and courteous. The bathroom was large and had several handrails. The fridge was bigger than other hotels and did not freeze the food. The air conditioning worked and chilled the room. The hallway was nice and clean. Breakfast was ok there was no option for the waffle. Both units had 4 mini waffles. There was only one choice of fruit when we were later for breakfast. On the day we were early there were two choices available. The outlets were loose and did not always charge our phones. The shuttle did not go to MD Anderson. The bed was too close to the wall for my amputee husband. Only one elevator so employees and guests use the same ones. The microwave was small and unbalanced. There was a bad spot on the floor that threw us off balance. No light in the fridge. The pool was outside and small, only going to 4ft.

This hotel was perfect for a quick in & out visit. Everything was great from the water pressure to the air conditioner to the comfortable beds & the towels were nice & fluffy. We didn’t hear a thing once we were in our room. Highly recommend!

I love the fact that it was only 20 minutes from my daughter’s house and just five or 10 minutes from the airport.

Bathroom was in desperate need of updating and fixing. Faucet was broken, looked like it was a $60/night hotel. Air worked and bed was decent so it was ok. Definitely not worth the money.

The plumbing from the neighboring rooms was very loud ! It sounded like it was in my room. Also, there was a domestic quarrel from a neighbor about 1am with foul language, screaming and doors slamming. Between the plumbing noise and the quarrel I had very little sleep. The pillows were hard and stiff. I find this to be a universal problem with most hotels and it baffles me why they don't put at least one squishy pillow on a king size bed. The shower did not work properly ( it didn't fully switch to the shower head) and the wand was missing

All we did was spend a few hours there to sleep before a VERY early morning flight. It felt safe and secure enough for the area. Because we were close to the airport, there were doors opening and closing ALL night. Not their fault, but something to think about. I would stay there again for the close proximity to the airport.

The room is large and very clean and comfortable. I always leave my car there when I travel it is very safe and secure. I love the shuttle service to and from the airport. Will not stay anywhere else when flying out of the hobby airport. The fact that they charge you for the first night of parking if you plan to leave your car there. So that first night would be free if I wasn't planning on leaving my car for the week, but because I signed the parking agreement that first night became one of my days parked.

I didn't like it much but I know it could have been worse. The location was literally at the end of the airport runway, you could hear homeless people arguing from the parking lot, the hotel feels and looks old, the room smelled moldy, it appeared to have mold in the windows, there were gnats or mosquitoes flying around in the bathroom and bedroom of the room, breakfast room was too crowded, there wasn't enough food to last the whole meal time.

Wonderful stay. Clean! Staff was amazing! Super close to the airport. Breakfast was really good and had variety. Definitely will stay here everytime I visit. 10/10.

Property was very close to Toyota Center which is where we were traveling, price was very good, bed was very comfortable, rooms are spacious, staff was nice and tentative! No negative comments to add:)

I would definitely stay there again. It was clean and the room size was great. Honestly the unfriendliness of the staff was my only complaint. They weren't rude but not friendly either.

My friends and I thought the hotel was very clean. All the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was awesome eve though there was no bacon. Didn’t know they offered parking and shuttle service for 7 days before charging. Will definitely be utilizing and referring them in future.

Cindy the front desk associate was very nice and checked us in a little before 3pm . She told us about the breakfast times and asked if we had any questions . the breakfast items were very scarce and we got there before 9am. we were on the 3rd floor and it needs some updating in halls and rooms.

I was unsatisfied with the shuttle process. I called once I arrived at the airport pickup area per staff instructions. However, I was not able to get in touch with front desk for about 30 minutes to request for shuttle pick-up. I did appreciate the call-back eventually, after multiple attempts. I requested late check-out and she did not make exceptions or accommodations given the previous mishap. -she instructed to request again in the AM (which is understandable) she was the AM shift as well. In the morning, I requested the late check-out and she just strait stated ‘no’. No checks if it was feasible. After a little negotiation, she budged to 30min. What was surprising is on the way out of the room… right at the 30min mark, she called the room and said ‘it’s check out time’ as we were already on the way out. We definitely felt rushed out. We waited in the lobby for a few hours as our flight was a late departure and it appeared to not be busy. Didn’t see any early check-ins or activity in the lobby. Lastly, (why I say she held a grudge) is I requested the shuttle to head to the airport and she stated 3:30p is the next shuttle out. 3:30p came along and no driver. She was no longer at the front -the next front desk stated she didn’t request it! The two drivers of the shuttle bus to and from the hotel was very friendly.

We stayed in room 304, there were two things we didn’t like about the room. The closet bar was not in the correct position. Difficult to get your clothes on and off the hangers. The shower is very narrow. I’m 5’ 8” 205 pounds and it was tight. Great breakfast, great location to Hobby airport and Hertz rental car location. There are several fast food options not to far away. We went to the Dairy Queen two to three minutes away from the hotel and the food was hot and very good. The front desk clerk who checked us in was fantastic, we ran into her every time we returned to the hotel at night.

We had trouble checking in — something went wrong and it didn’t get pushed from Expedia to the hotel system, so we had to call Expedia customer service in order to check in. Little too crowded at breakfast, and a gate was closed that forced parking to be one-way in and out. Outlets on both bedside lamps were loose and would not hold plug tight enough to charge phone. Stayed 4 days and rode the shuttle to airport a few times which was a big help.

The hot tub was hot enough and the internet was powerful. The front desk staff Cindy left a lasting impression on me. She was very helpful, friendly, respectful and kind. My flight came in 3 hours before check-in time and she was very accommodating, settled me in the lobby and initiated early check-in at no additional cost.

Basic accommodations that are clean and reasonable. Breakfast was good and plentiful. They also have fried eggs and sausage or ham along with bread, bagels, or soft wraps so don't think too basic.

I hope this issue is addressed promptly so future guests do not have the same experience.

TX hospitality is HUGE and BWPHAI&S out did themselves from the welcome refreshments, to friendly and helpful staff to a huge, clean and beautiful room all close to the airport for an early morning drop off! Def coming back here when we are in the area!

My husband and I only needed a one night stay from our cruise. The free shuttle to the airport, clean room with microwave, mini fridge and friendly staff. We paid less than $100 and check out is normally @noon but we asked for late checkout and that was 12:30. The breakfast was self serve make your own waffles (includes toppings),small assortment of breads and pastrys, eggs, sausage, yogurts,cereals,oatmeals,even hard boiled eggs. Very convenient

Secondly, the floor of the new room appears to have not been vacuumed. There was a big hair band on the carpeted floor, which would have been sucked up with a vacuum. Thirdly, the room nextdoor had extremely loud guests at about 11:00pm. Talking and laughing very loudly. After an hour, we called the front desk. Someone came up to inform them to be quiet. They were better for a bit, but not completely until about 1:00am. We had to have the bathroom fan on all night long as well as the fan on the hvac unit to drown out their noise. The room itself was okay, but not great (vacuum).

They say they offer shuttle services but in fact they are limited and not 24/7. Worst hotel I’ve been to in a while and hotels.com has the shuttle service included not correct. That was an extra $35 in Ubers because of that lie.

Nice hotel

Room 101 we checked in at 9pm , unloaded luggage turn the ac down, processed to Christmas party, came back at 1 am onlyvto find the room around 72ish degreess and we wanted it colder. It was too late at night and didnt wanna move my family to another room in the middle of the night so we sucked it up. Also the beds should be replaced, you could feel the springs . Not cool.

My stay was just fine until I woke up in the morning to a bed bug marching across my pillow. I freaked out! I called the front desk and someone came up to take a picture, remove the pillow, etc. This was a big deal to me because those critters like to hitch a ride back home with guests (and there is never only one). Right now my luggage is in at least 2 weeks purgatory in my garage until it is safe to bring the bag into the house. What makes me angry is that when I asked for a refund given the bed bug situation, the woman at the front desk said I could only have a refund if I signed a Release of Liability which included a gag clause saying I could not say anything bad about the hotel. I said no way! People should be warned. Rather than fight with them, I let hotels.com secure me my refund so that I would be free to write this review. This must not be an uncommon occurrence for this hotel because as I was leaving the room they had already positioned a large machine outside my door (a bed bug heater?) to deal with the problem. I am sad I have to leave this review because the staff at the hotel were extremely kind and responsive. The front desk attendant said it was the General Manger who required the waiver to be signed as a condition of a refund.

The pullout bed was never made and we had to call and have the front desk personnel to bring up beding. The pullout was filthy with stains and the most uncomfortable. Would never ho there again.

I understand that hotels have policies, but I was hoping for a little understanding and flexibility given how quickly I tried to correct the mistake. It’s disappointing that the hotel chose not to accommodate such a reasonable request.

I enjoyed my stay. It was almost perfect for what I needed. However, they have laundry facilities that require quarters, but fo not have a change machine & could not provide change at the front desk. I had to walk to several surrounding stores to get the $5 in quarters I needed because some of the businesses didn’t want to provide me with the full $5. It was aggravating & unnecessary.

Very clean and conveniently located. Room was very nice and comfortable. If you plan to get a good nights rest think twice. Walls are thin and you can hear all the noise and doors constantly slamming. Over all visit was nice.

Amenities included storing luggage after checkout, however when we asked for that service we were told they could not accommodate because another guest had already requested it and they did not have room for our luggage too. Don't offer a service you cannot provide!

From the prompt airport shuttle pick up, to the quick check in process, comfortable lobby, and free coffee, to the large room and excellent breakfast, Best Western Plus Hobby exceeded my expectations. It is an older hotel, but the beds were nice. There are no restaurants within walking distance, and there were very limited choices in snacks to purchase at the hotel. Airport shuttle was great. Breakfast was average.

Our room was big and easy to move around in. The bed was quite comfy, although we did recognize it was developing a few lumps. Pillows varied in firmness, giving us choices for our own needs. The staff were great! Transportation to and from the airport was excellent. Although it is close yo the airport and perfect for a pre cruise stay, there is not many dining options close by and the area around the hotel is rather sketchy.

Stayed here for one night as a pre cruise hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. But it's not walkable to restaurants or anything. It was about a $18 round trip to the local shopping center. If I cruise out of Galveston cruise terminal again, I would stay here again.

Beds were to hard for my liking

The only negative I had was the toilets need to be updated to the standard height. They are too low to the floor. It would be very difficult for an older person with limited mobility to use the bathroom. If they could update this, this hotel would be PERFECT!!!

There was never a visit to this hotel. I booked this site for the same day check in, believing that it was in Houston airport area. Shortly after the booking, I learned that it was few miles away in another area of Texas. I contacted the front desk at the hotel and explained the situation. I was informed that there is no refund because it was past the cancelation time. I had to book another hotel that was near the George Bush airport. The only error was location. This was very disappointing, and I have no plans to visit that hotel again.

Overnight stay before going on a cruise in Galveston. Very convenient and close to airport. Room was clean, breakfast was good, staff was friendly.

They let us check in early, for a free of course, but we didn’t mind paying considering we were soaking wet and tired. We were able to get our laundry sorted, repack, and relax until time to leave. During our stay it was pretty quiet besides the traffic from the highway, which wasn’t all that bad.

I had called ahead to let the staff know we’d be checking in late, and they had everything ready for us—room keys in hand and a smooth check-in process. The next morning, we were treated to a solid breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, and waffles—everything we needed to fuel up before heading back to Kentucky. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and great service near Hobby Airport, I highly recommend the Best Western Plus Inn & Suites.

It was clean I felt safe, however, the housekeeper went into the room although the sign was on the door not to. I say that because I left the light on because I did not want to return to a dark room, when I returned the room was dark

My toddler and I stayed here for one night last week because we had an early morning flight out of Hobby. It was a convenient location to the airport and I was pleasantly surprised that the planes landly and taking off couldn't really be heard from in the room. We used the pool, which was clean, and my daughter loved it. The only thing I didn't love was the bed. It seemed a little too firm for my liking. Our stay was good, overall.

I picked this hotel partly for the self-service laundry, but when I went to do laundry, the washing machine was out of order. I had to go to a laundromat, which was disappointing. Other than that, I had a nice stay.

Arrived pretty late and we were in our room relatively quickly. There were some loud neighbors and weed smell, but for what I paid, I wasn't terribly bothered. I think I may have been charged twice though, which was pretty crappy.

We enjoyed our stay. If we come again this will definitely be the place we will go again. The environment was peaceful. They cleaned the rooms everyday as well!!
