    Parking was easy, and i felt secure with all the cameras. The a/ did in fact keep it super cold! However the room was on a slant. Not wand to stay in place. The first room did have issues like the fridge not working. They were quick and helpful to change rooms but each room had its faults. Ive had much better for this price, but still maybe give them a dhot. They may improve!

    I have stayed in multiple hotels in the area and was looking for a convenient, cost-effective option near White Oak Music Hall, where I attended a concert, and I will not choose this place again. It was very inconvenient and I wish Imcould get my money back.

    - Floor must not have been cleaned in weeks - walking once from the bathroom to the bed and the bottom of your feet are dark from dirt - The toilet paper holder rod was missing - this is a $1 part to replace - The shower was seriously clogged and filled like a bathtub each time it was used - Shampoo provided in ketchup packet type packets, had no surfactant in it (didn't cut any oil in my hair) - No hot water kettle in the room, and the front desk was unable to provide one when I asked, and was unable to unlock the lobby before 7am (where there is a hot water heater) - Staff sit behind bulletproof glass without any holes to allow sound to travel through it so you need to yell to communicate with them - The room card deactivated after every single use - The front office has a big sign on the window that says "Share your positive experiences with your friends, Share your negative experiences with us" ...

The windows for the room were cracked in various places and the panel over the ac unit was barely hanging on. The curtain in the room had a huge stain like coffee or something dark the mini fridge smelled moldy. The room was dingy and dark and the beds had only a super thin bedsheet There was mold and mildew in the tub and shower tiles. I felt unsafe from the movement I arrived until I left. If I had another choice at the time I absolutely would have left. It absolutely felt like a drug or prostitute den location. The price was way high for the quality of location and inn. The AC worked well

    The breakfast was a piece of bread and some cereal that had no sugar flavor or anything the waffle maker was not working and not on and there's no batter and it was just a very lackluster breakfast it should be even called a breakfast I can find better things to eat on the streets walking home but anyways it was all right the guy behind the counter had no personality.

    The location The non-smoking room smelled heavily of smoke. The floor felt like it Leaned as well as the bath tub. Both blankets had cigarette burns on them. The light over the sink had a sensor and it clicked off and on all night even though nobody was walking around. The bed felt like it was leaning and was not very comfortable. Blinds covered our room The entry needs a label; google maps took longer to advice where it was and we passed the entry twice. noise level was mid at night but bad after 7am. The tile was cracking on several areas and the bathtub was super slippery. Only 1 toilet paper roll was in our room for 4 people.

    The tub needed unclogging, they need to have their cleaning staff to do a more thorough job of cleaning before their guests arrive. The room still has the aroma of smoke, even though I requested a non-smoking room. Put some air freshener in the room. I shouldn't have to ask for the WiFi password, they should have just written it on the greeting card. The TV should have been ready to play when I clicked the remote, instead I had to go through the settings, it's not my job to be my own tech support to make the TV work. My main issue with the hotel is: they need to hire friendly staff that greets the customer with a smile when the customer is checking in, they don't look like they are happy to work there.

    Location is good for events downtown. I found a fun Vietnamese & beer bar restaurant near by. The "breakfast" was below standard. Only kids cereal is available, the waffle mix was separated, Check out time is 11:45am. I had to talk to the manager Saturday morning to get an extra 15 minutes. I had asked for this Fri night, but the staff was not authorized to give it.

It was disgusting to have such bad service and I just turned away for another hotel. Hotels just accept a claim before the check-in date so I had to lose my money.

    From checking in to the hotel to checking out. We had trouble checking in because the server didn’t believe it was us. The tv didn’t work, the remote didn’t have a back work, nor did it work, the light didn’t work, the bathroom lock was broken, couldn’t close the door, the shower barely had hot water, the blow dryer was broken, they tried to make us check out when we had two days paid for, the housekeeping walked in on us. Also, they would not give us a receipt upon leaving.

    To tell you the truth I would never go there again especially solo. The first room I had there was a mouse that ran across the floor. There was a strong scent of fresher that I reacted to. The hotel is also not in a good area, and kinda scary. I was moved to a room upstairs which was much better. The locks were not the best so I moved a coffee table in front of my door and also put a chair wedged under the table to feel comfortable. The room was clean but old. Bed was comfortable. Morning coffee was instant. I didn’t drink it. Stopped at convenience store for coffee.

    There was no line, but check-in took forever. Then the first room we were assigned was pretty darn bad... the bathroom door wouldn't close, the phone didn't work, the floor seemed dirty, the bathroom was really run down (didn't even have a tp holder). Due to the bathroom door issue, we asked for a different room. The only other clean room was a double instead of a king, but we accepted it and it was a little better. The desk agent insisted I needed to go to the desk to check out in the morning for some reason, even though I just handed him the keys and did nothing else. I asked if there was coffee brewed, and he said yes and pointed to it... but the dispenser just had water in it. Meh.

The desk agent insisted I needed to go to the desk to check out in the morning for some reason, even though I just handed him the keys and did nothing else. I asked if there was coffee brewed, and he said yes and pointed to it... but the dispenser just had water in it. Meh.

    It was after a huge storm when I arrived, the hotel was in total darkness. The surrounding areas was hit by a power outage. The staff said they don't know when power will be restored so they said, if don't check in I could request for a full refund from Hotel.com ( I book thru them). Hotel.com contacted Americas Best Value Inn a couple of times but they refused to grant the refund. What a scam !!!! I'm $100 out of pocket. Seriously, you can't expect a guest to still check in when your establishment don't have power.

    Front desk clerk was friendly and nice, to this veteran. Let me check in early. And had a room but smoking, asked if I didn’t like it I could wait a little longer, The room didn’t even smell like cigarette smoke or anything at all. The front desk clerk was professional and made sure I was comfortable. I had a business trip downtown Houston and had to take an Uber to not worry about parking and the same clerk aloud me to keep my vehicle there for two hours. Very hot day, the air conditioner worked great, and ice machine. I enjoyed my stay, to say the least. Coffee and breakfast was great. As long as I had my strong coffee I was set, it was a huge Maxwell House machine on 24/7. Thank you again.

    Driving in, there were three dirty homeless men one urinating on the side property.Walking in to check in smelled horrible,very dirty inside of lobby that if it does get cleaned IF IT DOES they use water!! And oh walking into our rooms was a nightmare.Cracks all over the bathroom super dirty.It seemed every piece of furniture including the tub toilet sink was bought from pieces from the 70’s,rust and all.The towels looked like they just rinsed them out with water,I’m sure they were supposed to be white! They didn’t smell clean at all! I couldn’t tell what smelled worst The lobby or our room! And to boot there was a very scary man watching my daughter with my granddaughter along w/two other young girls and their mom just watching them,now If you're a parent especially of a preteen granddaughter you would have been scared, NO EXAGGERATIONS.The best thing I took pictures to back up what I’m saying!!!     It was ok, you get what you pay for, the first night we were placed at a room that had no working toilet, but we were moved the next day so that’s fine, there are a lot of gnats and bugs in the property and also the air conditioning system sounds like an old generator and it’s not that reliable

    I knew beforehand that I was getting exactly what I paid for, so I wasn't expecting much but a clean, comfortable room. Checking in was easy. Up arriving the room appeared clean and the air conditioning was super cold. After settling in for the night we noticed that the wifi didn't work and neither did the television. Too tired from the drive in from Louisiana and the days activities we just went to sleep. The next day I went told the guy on duty. He stated that the person that fix things would be gone for a couple of hours. I returned back to the room only to see a swarm of gnats. I told my son to pack his things. I reported this to the guy and informed him that we would be checking out a day early and he just calmly stated...."oh that's why you are leaving." He never tried to make it right, either by offering a different room or a partial refund.

The supposed breakfast tasted and looked like they were using the same food recycled from the weekend. No milk for the cereal, the rooms walls were cracked and repaired by someone who obviously didn't know what they were doing. And finally the whole side of the hotel is falling off the foundation so the room is literally tilted!!! If Harvey ruined the foundation and lower level walls and sheet-rock, then the Owner/Operators should make dang sure the amenities are tip-top. They obviously don't care to stay in business.
