Room was very clean and the linens and towels were fresh and like new.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even tracking me down at breakfast after I'd left something in our room and was about to leave. Overall, the hotel was sufficient but no frills.

The price is unreasonable considering there is no pool or vending machines. Breakfast is cold prepackaged muffins and instant oatmeal. Or stale cocoa pebbles and corn flakes and good luck with the staff having milk available.

Property was very clean . The price was very good. If you are just looking for a place to sleep and close to TMC and attractions this is a very good place to stay.

This location is always clean anf helpful. The front desk help all the way to house keeping are top notch. I recommend this location for any staying in the u of h downtown area.

I was so pleasantly surprised.we came for the medical center. Our flight arrived early and we were able to check into our room early anyway. The room was clean and spacious and it looked to be newly remodeled. I would definitely stay here again. The front desk was incredibly friendly.

My Husband fell in the shower due to slick floor and staff wouldn't even come to room so we could show them that tub was very slick and they had no grab bars in tub. Was very disappointed in the way they were unconcerned about his well being.

Very tight and small parking lot I was in a Subaru outback and it was still very tight not enough parking. They didn't put enough shampoo for more than one day and only 2 towels for 2 people.

The place is clean and affordable. The amenities and breakfast are sparse, but the price is good. The area is safe. The attendant, Yaki is helpful and friendly. If you want a clean place, in a safe area, for a good price, this is it. It’s close to the museums and medical center.

You get what you pay for, but I was not expecting the room to smell of weed for 3 days. The “breakfast” was burnt coffee and cereal packs. The only saving grace was the staff was very nice.

This is a motel which rents rooms hourly Not a hotel . The water pressure in the bathtub was very very low. Nats flying all around the room. I will NOT be back.

The Clerk at the front desk was very RUDE . When he spoke to me. I ask for assistance making a phone call and the clerk said the call would not go through. The room was clean, how I could tell was when I took my shoes off and walked to the bathroom. Before putting on my flip flops my socks were still white. Don’t know what was going on with the bed every time you sat on it . Or got in the bed to lay down. The bed made a loud sound . Housekeeping came by both days I stayed and asked if my room needed to be cleaned. I informed the staff I did not need their services at the time. I was unable to watch TV . Not sure if I needed to access the WiFi password. For some reason I couldn’t get it to go through. Oh on the morning when checking out I found the was some free breakfast items offered. But would have been to be informed by the RUDE Clerk at the front desk . Upon my arrival that there were some breakfast items were offered in the morning. After I did booked a 3 night stay at this establishment.

The final straw was when someone started beating on our door and tried several times to enter. My 81 year old MiL and a 62 year old wife ( 6 weeks out after Major Chest surgery were injured trying to keep him out. Police were called, took 19 minutes to respond, only to find out the check in clerk didn't note the room change due to disability. No calling the room, checking his registration list, nope he chose to try and break into a rented Hotel room. To top it off the parking lot and several tenants were let's say trying to buy the Original 1900 Coke a Cola.

The sheets had stains all over them. The toilet leaked all over the floor. The outside of the building looks pretty updated, but the inside of the rooms were not good at all.

My stay was good. The Property was clean and well kept. There is a HEB supermarket, convenance store and good daiquiri and restaurant nearby (short walk).

It was not as clean as I'd prefer, there was a hole in the wall, and the "continental breakfast" was nonexistent

Arrived late at night and the two men working the desk were very friendly. The parking lot is tight, but felt safe and there were a couple available spots still. Room was clean other than 2 cigarette burns in the sheets. The lobby has hot coffee and that's pretty much it, but all in all seemed like a good value motel.

There was a water line break. The water was off for hours. We could not stay there. My husband was having knee surgery the next day and needed clean water to shower that evening and in morning. We had to move to another hotel. Expedia would not refund our money even tho we never entered the room! I’ll never use Expedia again! We did arrive during Checkin time just to be told there was no water.

The room smelled strongly like cigarette smoke the moment we walked in. It was so bad that the smell stuck to our clothes and hair. The room also did not feel clean at all. Because of this, we decided to leave the same day and didn’t even stay overnight. I didn’t even feel comfortable letting the kids sit or lay on the bed. It was a horrible experience, especially when traveling with children. I would not recommend this place at all, particularly for families.

Air conditioning was great, parking lot was very brightly lit. Bed was very comfortable. It is close to an expressway so I did hear sirens during the night. We had a man with a shopping cart pound on our door twice during the night. There was then loud arguing in the walkway nearby. Good place for reasonable rates and clean rooms. What a complete trash hole! The water didn't work for 2 days which means the toilet didn't work for 2 days. When the water did it was brown. To not have a toilet working is completely disgraceful. Crack heads wandering the parking lot. The management are a-holes. I got charged when I booked my stay in January then they charged me again at the location. They refused to reimburse saying it's expedias duty but it's not. Couldn't be more dissatisfied.

Did not know by the pictures that this was a motel, not a hotel. They did not have a room on the first floor which posed problems for my husband and I due to age and health reasons. We thought there would be an elevator, not stairs. The beds were very springy and bouncy. Not super comfortable. There were soap bars and lotion but nothing else, not even Kleenex. Room was clean and ac worked good. One good surprise was a ceiling fan over the beds, first time I’ve seen that.

The hotel is in a great location, it worked out perfectly for me for a short trip to Houston. The staff is very nice and very friendly!!! It’s clean and it has everything you need but it’s not a new hotel and maybe if they change the pillows and the blankets with new and comfy ones, that would bring a big plus to this property!!! It’s a clear a refurbishment has taken place in the not too distant future. The water pressure for the shower could have been a lot better and it would have been helpful if the sink tap closed and open properly. Despite that I would stay here again for the quiet.

My mother stayed at the hotel so she could be close by to help take care of my father who is in the hospital. Even though we live over five hours away the staff went above and beyond to help extend her stay without any issues. They made the process easy and were incredibly accommodating. The location is excellent with easy access and very close to the medical center which made everything much less stressful for our family. Knowing my mom was safe comfortable and supported gave us real peace of mind. We are truly grateful for the kindness professionalism and care shown by the entire staff. I would highly recommend this hotel especially for families needing to stay near the medical center.

My husband and I were only staying here for one night to attend the Texans vs 49ers game at NRG stadium, immediately arriving to the property it looked a little sketchy and when checking into our room, the room smelled heavily of cigarettes. luckily, we were only staying there for one night and it was really cheap so we got what we paid for… , if your looking for something cheap and last min look no further. Other than that i wouldnt stay here again

There was barely any water pressure. The towels and wash clothes looked like shop towels. In a bad neighborhood with homeless people drinking wine outside your room. The office has bullet proof glass, you don't !

Water was amazingly scoldingly hot. So ladies that love baths this is a great place. Bed was the typical hardness, pillows fluffy flat, frig worked. Ac had issues and kicked off before hitting temp set. Heb next door was good.

Would I stay again? Absolutely not. I was here for a convention and this was a budget option. You get what you pay for, I guess. I got a non-smoke room but it still smelled like it was. Nearly every Lyft or uber I took told me that this place is known to suck by the locals and that it’s only where truckers stay… and that is true. Semis parked outside every day. I was also told that it wasn’t a good neighborhood and that is also confirmed. If you can, go elsewhere.

I you like any of the following, this place is for you; a) the constant, overpowering smell of weed from the instant you get out of your vehicle, till you get to your room, which has an overpowering smell of cleaner. Probably to cover up the weed smell. b) adults hanging out in the parking lot, all hours of the day & night, smoking weed, with their pants around their knees, & underwear showing. c) over hearing a 3:30am conversations in the stairwell from what I can only assume was a prostitute, as she was explaining to someone that she is "only working on her back for her kids." I wanted a cheap room, near the stadium for a game, and next time, will for sure spend a little more, to get one hopefully without any of the above. On a positive note, person who checked me in, was very nice, and got me checked in quick, and with no issues. Room itself was clean. That was all the positive. The cleaner smell was way overpowering. Bed was hard, not soft at all. Fridge did not work well, as items did not get very cold at all. TV was not cable, only air/digital channels. Overall, will not ever book again, and would only recommend if you like the smell of weed, and are looking for a lady of the nights services.

The room smelled too much like smoke and my cancer patient mother couldn’t breath very well and we had to leave and find another hotel. Very inconvenient. Staff offered to spray the room with freshener, there was no fixing this issue.

Was exactly as expected - not 5 star, but clean and quiet. Area around property was a bit sketchy, but with minimal time spent in room, was not a problem. Close to event in Hermann Park, which was the reason the property was chosen.

The night clerk was very nice, and gave us a floor room, but when we got to room . Our tv didn’t work. They did offer for us to move but my husband is disabled so we couldn’t go up stairs. They said they would fix it but didn’t. Then the decorative bedding on top of as dirty and stunk so bad . Went to get breakfast. No milk for cereal. Nvr got more when ask.

Check in was easy but what they don’t tell you when booking is you have to have a credit card because they put a $150 hold on it in case of damages to the room. Our room smelled the pot so bad that we had to leave the exhaust fan on in the bathroom all day and night. When I went to the front desk to tell them that it wasn’t from us (because I didn’t want to be charged for it) the front desk clerk gave me a thumbs up and said it was okay. The electricity kept going off and coming back on. The ice machine worked the first day but when I went to get some the next day it had been unplugged and had no ice. The exhaust fan in the bathroom wasn’t secure and you could see up inside the opening. The refrigerator was on the highest setting and wasn’t even cool inside it so couldn’t store any food in there. The neighbor was so loud and constantly had people coming and going from their room at all hours of the night (mostly where the pot smell was coming from). I will say that the parking lot is well lit and they do have ALOT of security cameras on the property because you can see the monitor at the front desk. When I was checking out I’d seen some muffins in the lobby so I grabbed a couple to notice later on that they were expired. We had chosen this hotel because we were there for a medical procedure for my mother at the hospital and it was close by. Again, you get what you pay for.

Had a 10 hour blackout and no wifi for 2 days

They didn't clean my room the first day, the second day power went out and now i can't get my work done without wifi. There is no wifi now

We arrived late and the parking lot was so tight and full that we could not squeeze our luggage to get to the flight of stairs. No wiggle room at all between the trucks parked beside the stairwell. The room smelled terribly like smoke- weed specifically. The ducts need to be thoroughly cleaned. This was a quick stay to get a passport otherwise we would not have chosen this property. The staff up front were nice.

It's the best value for the museum district.

This hotel offers an excellent stay with several great features. The parking lot is well-lit. It's conveniently located near downtown attractions, making it easy to explore the area without a long drive. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. Mattress could be better.

The photos were a little misleading. It showed photos of a bright and new hotel. However, it was not.

The feeder road to get to this hotel was closed. They had a barricade that we had to drive around to get to it once it took us a back way to get there. It had apparently caught on fire at some point and was still being fixed. The room itself was clean. No coffee pot in the room. The shower curtain had a hole in it. They had coffee, cereal, and muffins in the foyer of the office. My husband got up several times to check on our car because we didn’t feel like we were in a great part of Houston. Overall, if you just needed a bed and shower, it was definitely affordable. We will be spending the extra money to stay elsewhere next time.

There was construction going on at the hotel and surrounding streets. The room seemed clean but tv was broken and air didn’t cool well. On a positive note, I arrived in town much earlier than expected and was allowed to check in.
