Clean, quiet, and friendly, with comfortable mattresses and plenty of parking for our trailer. The owners and staff warmly welcomed us back for our second stay, and one staff member even offered to bake us cookies! Breakfast was plentiful and varied, though it featured the same eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy each day. There was also plenty of cereal, yogurt, waffles, a small selection of fruit, a juice machine, a few baked goods, and a fancy coffee machine that’s excellent when it’s not being temperamental.

The best part was the great lighting in the bathroom.

Several electrical outlets were ineffective because too loose. Thermostat completely haphazard and unpredictable, room cold even when set to 77 degrees. Room 103.

Tyler was at the front desk when we checked in and he could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The lobby was decorated for Easter and the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that the breakfast had no fruit available other than apples.

The staff was very helpful and attentive and the stay was quiet the room was quiet and clean and the fact that they offered breakfast was a plus There really wasn’t any reason other than the elevator was a little scary otherwise I had a very relaxing stay

The nicest hotel I've stayed in in a long time. Large room in excellent condition; the bathroom mirror warmer was a nice touch. Breakfast was good, coffee choices were excellent, parking was good and the overall condition of the property was excellent. Though a little expensive, I think it was a reasonable value. Some small nits; some of the receptacles (on the bed lights) didn't work, and the sink was offset to the right of the mirror which was a little odd. Overall a great stay which stands out above most I've stayed in recently.

It appears obvious they have worked to improve the property. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and updated. The staff is excellent especially Maria who went above and beyond to help. But three things detracted from the stay. A smell in the hall (that Maria worked hard to eliminate, exercise equipment that didn’t work and some of the property that was in bad shape ( I.e. the wall around the elevator on the 3rd floor. That said, the positives outweigh the negatives.

I enjoyed the entrance to the hotel lobby. It was calm and relaxed. Food for breakfast was very good and lots of options. Customer service was excellent and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The Front Desk was very polite and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and loved the easy transportation to get to Fort Lee Army Base. They were very friendly and understable that I had to leave early.

The receptionist was the most pleasant person that we'd ever been blessed to have met. I didn't have my reading glasses and actually booked the wrong date and she spent over 15 minutes aiding me in correcting the issue, all whilst easily checking in other clients and visitors smiling politely all the while. The room was spacious and immaculate and the refrigerator double the size of most hotels and had a working freezer. 5 stars easy !

The transition metal piece in our room from the tile entryway to the carpet was loose and had nails sticking out. Our toilet stopped flushing. Was only there total of 9hrs.

It was very clean and the beds were amazing, not something you have in a lot of hotels.

This was a last minute trip due to a death in the family... It also coincided with a soccer tournament in the state of Virginia... We scrambled last minute for a hotel knowing that most of them were totally booked up. Staying at Best Western was The best decision I ever made. With everything going on this weekend, our accommodations was one thing we didn't have to worry about. THANK YOU!

They have replaced the bed with a metal frame/spring system and the mattress was so thin we could feel every joint in the bed. Terrible bed - so nothing else counts. We travel often on I95 and have stayed here before. Never again.

The staff was so super friendly and so willing to help get my reservation straight. The room was very clean and the bed super comfy. The room we had was a queen size bed with a full size refrigerator and 2 burner stove with a microwave, plenty of cabinets and sink with countertop. The bathroom was good size with tub and shower. Also had a sofa with ciffee table 2 desks with over size office chairs and a pretty big size TV. Very nice place ! Reasonably priced! We would recommend this Hotel! 5 stars

The only caveat is that the neighborhood seemed a bit dicey during the day so it would be wise to just keep your heads up, particularly at night. There appeared to be an overnight watchman in the parking lot so your stay there should be problem-free. Overall highly recommended.

The property had higjer reviews but qas very dated. The bed was on an aluminum frame, first I have seen on that one. Furniture was banged up and AC ran very loud.

We took a chance and stopped at Hopewell, VA because we have a town with the same name. We took our chances and were pleasantly surprised. The facility was clean, the check in was easy and the host, most pleasant. We walked and got dinner. They serve coffee and tea all night and a full breakfast in the morning. We now have made thus the place to stop on our way home.

Dark. Rooms ok but not enough lighting. One lamp didn’t work .ice machine on our floor didn’t work

This was a very nice hotel especially for the price. Very clean, great staff, a bit older but updated. The heating system was a bit loud but I shut it off at night and stayed plenty warm. Family lives nearby and we will definitely stay at this hotel again!!

Our room was clean and spacious. The carpets were a bit older, but as we noted it was very clean. The parking lot was fairly spacious, though lighting in the back could have been better. Breakfast was a selection of breads and fruit, as well as cereal and some hot choices. Overall a good value and we would stay here again.

Hotel was mostly very good. Small little details to not get an excellent rating. Room was very large with nice little kitchenette with small electric burners, sinks, and a nice size fridge. Room had everything you'd need for a longer stay. Bed was ok. Not super comfy, but not uncomfortable either. Only three pillows for a king bed was a bit annoying (saw the extra in the closet area when leaving). Bathroom was large, but didn't have the walk-in shower that was advertised for a handicap acccessible room. Room was very clean, so for a quick in & out, this was fine.

Such a nice clean facility. I loved the Christmas tree and the employees were so nice at the front desk. It was so much nicer than the place we stayed the night before at 50 less!

Our stay on the way North from Florida was o.k However, it wasn't perfect. The toilet did not flush properly which wasn't obvious until the next morning. The parking lot was insufficient for the number of rooms, particularly when people towing trailers took up more than one spot. We were afraid to move the car when we went for dinner and walked to the only place nearby (which was pretty good). The breakfast was good but no muffins or sweets of any kind I might consider staying there again but would check the toilet as soon as I arrived. It is very convenient to I-295. If you have no worries about parking, there are many dining options in the immediate vicinity.

The street leading to the hotel was poorly laid out/designed, making access a challenge. In the breakfast area, the juice dispenser was very syrupy. The TV channel selection was very limited.

We enjoyed our stay the only thing i think they shoud up grade is their bathrooms.

From the time we checked in everyone that worked there was pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel beds were incredibly comfortable. The pillows were soft yet firm. There was a smart TV in the room, a keurig coffee machine with 4 different pods along with sugar and creamer, a refrigerator, a microwave, and mini bath products. The room was clean as well. The morning included breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. Thank you to Paul and the rest of the staff for a wonderful stay!

We we're on the third floor, and when you walked the floor it had a dip in it. The shower had no pressure at all. The place need to be renovated. It showing it's age. The food was okay.
