    , there was on onsite staff at this particular motel. About a block down, there is another motel which is also managed by the same chain. The check-in staff was so terribly rude and hostile. I urge everyone to remain away from this property. Just my two cents.

    Nice vibes and quiet. I love their strict rules about no parties and they only allow people registered in the room to be on their property....Many of the rooms have a full kitchen a full size refrigerator stove and microwave plenty of sitting area and space

    The room was actually a 1 bedroom apartment. It was clean, cold AC, the bed was comfy, 2 tvs, a full kitchen, which we did not use. Just know they require a $50 cash deposit, which they give you right back at check out. I would definitely stay at the courtyard location.

    Great staff and nice room but the water pressure is terrible and we didn’t like the fact that we had to walk 4 blocks to our room with our bags. It was hot outside and muggy so the walk was unpleasant and weird.

    Rooms are scattered all over a 3 block radius. The room was almost impossible to find. It was very basic. We didn’t feel comfortable enough to sleep under the covers.

    The photo of this beautiful pool is NOTHING like what the resort looked like. The front desk would not let us check in one min sooner, or even place our bags with the front desk. The rudeness of the person I had spoken with at the front desk was like something I had never experienced. Also, the room they were having us stay at was 4 blocks away from the pool, the main motel, or any of the items listed on the room. I would avoid this Motel as much as possible!

Looking for Reeses to stay with the deposit the day before We I would have and I have a a cigarette card which we left in the room. But we never slept sleep We smoke there. The lie they wanted to just stay with the deposit. I didn’t like the way they treat me.

    We did not receive good directions upon check-in. We had to leave a $50 deposit in CASH and were not told that we needed the receipt given to get the deposit back. Fortunately, we still had it in the room and were able to go back and retrieve it. Secondly, the motel rooms are sprawled across several blocks. A map with the location of your room would have been very helpful. The property is in a great location and a quiet neighborhood. We were close to Gulfstream Race Track and close to the lovely Hollywood Beach. There are plenty of restaurants, and groceries and stores in the area. Now for the rooms. We booked two weeks out from arrival and had no choice on the room we received. It was a bare-bones room. While there were a small refrigerator, microwave and television, there wasn't a coffee maker, hair dryer or shampoo/amenities in the room. We made do but just want to let other travelers know to call and check on what to expect upon arrival. I believe there are rooms with full kitchens and better amenities. Just make sure you know what you're getting.

    Overall room condition was good. My stay started out very disgraceful after being insulted by a young lady at the Federal Highway office. However I went over to the other office a few blocks where the Manager sorted out everything professionally. Nice place but the staff lack customer service training.

    I did not use the pool because we did not have pool towels and I do not know if they were available. The room came with a queen bed and 2 small pillows. For me and my wife 2 pillows each to sit up in bed and watch TV would have been better. There were 2 bulbs out in bathroom and sink aerator was clogged which lowered water pressure to a trickle. I removed the aerator while I was there. Only 2 small shower towels which should have been bigger or more absorbent. The bathroom had no counter or place to put your toiletries. Over all I did like the place and would definitely consider going back next time I visit family. I also found the price very reasonable for what you get. I do wish the owners well, and hope they work on the things I mentioned.

    The property required a fifty-dollar cash-only deposit at check-in. Upon checkout, the deposit was not refunded because a receipt was required. I honestly do not remember ever being given a receipt, and I do not recall having one in my possession. It is possible it was never provided. The important point for future guests: if you do not have a physical receipt for the cash deposit, the money will not be returned. No card deposit option was offered — cash only. Please be aware of this risk before staying here.

    My wife and I did not have a great experience the 4 nights we were here. The shower head popped off while taking a shower, the drain doesn’t flood in the shower so the water spread all throughout the motel floor. They gave us one cloth and one towel to use and I had to call staff for extra towels to clean the water and to dry my body. Staff didn’t arrive so I personally had to go to the front to ask for towels. Concierge claimed our room was renovated, that room was fallen apart and very uncomfortable to stay in. I expected better from this place.

    What didn’t I like about it…this ranks in my top 3 of best places I’ve stayed, from the cleanliness, location, comfort of the bed down to the shower it was all excellent, had to be he best shower of anyplace I’ve been to. If I had to find something it would be checking in at the motel location which is 3 blocks from the courtyard motel.

    First of all there were hidden fees like property fees, $100 and also security deposit which was expected at the property. But the location was awesome and courtyard was very spacious only thing I had a stove that was never working and the office is 2-3 blocks away. Also air conditioning is only in the bedroom

I refused and had to walk to another office to receive larger bills. Room issues: AC worked the same on all modes and kept shutting off. Shower knobs were loose; one was barely attached. Toilet was tiny — uncomfortable for tall/big guests. Freezer had no door and was broken. At night, other guests were watching movies or playing loud music near the rooms with no respect for others. The overall guest behavior was poor and unsettling. The only positive experience was the woman at the front desk who kindly gave me a room close by upon request. If you're on a very tight budget, this place may work, but don’t expect comfort or good service. I cannot recommend it and believe even 1 star is generous.

    Sean, the front desk receptionist, was very kind and communicative. Upgraded our room to an apartment suit which was amazing of him! The suit was very nice and the bed was so comfortable! When checking out the lady receptionist was also kind and sweet. We had no hiccups during our stay. All was great and I will definitely be staying here again when I return! Oh yeah, the plants around the property looked so beautiful and well kept up with!! I’m from Texas so those plants are our house plants. They were thriving and looking lushes.

    A delightful little family owned property. A spacious room with a huge shower, appliances in case you were staying for a week or more. We were only there one night, and didn’t get a chance to try the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Dirty room with terrible mattress, extremely hot. Took an hour to cool off. Then no hot water. Maintenance came and said the pilot light was off and it would take a while to warm.up. Gpoot up the next morning for a shower....no hot water. Had to go to another building to get my $50 damage deposit back. Would not credit me for no shower at check out....a truly terrible experience

    "The management of key delivery is awful. With 5 suitcases, I had to pick up the keys 7 blocks away from the place.     Its quiet ,friendly and caring staff ,NO STRESS about where you can park ,or be FORCED to pay for parking slot ,like other places I've stayed .And the rooms are always clean and comfortable. There could be some improvements on the television reception. Otherwise the resorts ( RICHARDS)are VERY NICE for the prices .I'll definitely stay again and again with them and recommend to family and friends.

    The staff at this establishment are incompetent. While Richard is very cordial over the phone and by text, the staff at his company is rude, disrespectful, and probably under the influence of drugs. There is no explanation for why a non-smoking room smells like a cigarette box. It is evident that both the towels and the blankets are stained. Moreover, you should be prepared to check in and out of completely different hotels than where you are staying the night. Oh, it's because they send you a message once you have booked, directing you to a completely different check-in location and informing you that a deposit is required in cash only, so be prepared to shuffle around banks to get cash. I have never had a worse hotel experience in my life. The staff's aggressiveness and rudeness is beyond my comprehension. This is a place you should not visit. This is a place for those who wish to be treated as if they were trash. Then, if you wish to get your deposit back, they will make you go through a series of obstacles and hoops at each location. The fact that these people have the nerve to be rude when you ask why you must go back and forth to obtain a deposit is appalling. There is no reason for this to be given a star. Please do not visit this site.

    This was at the other hotel. Which comes with the store, refrigerator etc. Very nice I would love to stay there again. But the price was Very high, I paid a $168. That's too much money. What I didn't like is I chose the Courtyard property, one line and it wasn't what I thought it was with the pool area when I got there I. Requested a keen sign and was offer double, which I didn't like. It was very hot smelly, so I went back over to the office. 2 change for another room. Recommend another room, please. And the lady was so nice. She gave me the other room across from the office, one of the Ridger, hotels, that's the one with the upstairs. And downstairs, and I was in room. 205 That came with a kitchen refrigerator external. Very nice. I came back the next day in request. That same property and I got Room 204. Which were very nice as well, but it was too expensive. A $168, that's ridiculous. But with all said I enjoy myself. The room very clean d front office. Ladies, we're all fabulous. Love their hospitality and I will come back again. But I will choose that property, not the courtyard.

    I was short $2 for my $50 deposit I had already paid my room online mind you I have been staying here since my son was 3 days old WHO is now 3 months and she told me I couldn’t stay the night. So I called Expedia and they said they will try and call the property to see if they will allow a refund so I can get booked at another property they said no. So I’m other words I lost my $73 and had to sleep in the car with my kids. What pissed me off the most is that they were going to give me the deposit back in the morning at check out.     A couple of things if the owner can work on, can further enhance the customer experience - add few more cutleries, glasses, cup, bottle opener, paper towel, etc. Television in operating condition, although, I was out most time of my stay, for those who prefer to stay indoors can find it handy. But, overall, great experience. Can recommend to anyone.

    I had a tearful experience with a lady of color that claimed to manage all richards property. I am a post op ostomy patient that was traveling alone. They fail to mention here that this property does not accommodate handicap people at all. The lady was agressive super unprofessional. All i needed was help to get to the check in office to check out. She came to the other property told me RICHARD SAID SHES CRAXY FOR EVEN BRINGING ME THE DEPOSIT. Meanwhile the room was so filthy. Dirty socks under bed. Yellow stains on matress. Cigarette burns on the bed and so many other this wrong with this business. Never again. It give prostitution vibes for sure. Expedia should cancel these richard properties. I honedtly felt like that woman was going to hit me at one point. They have false signs for handicap assistant. They just tell you find away here. Its not our issue. I will never come here again. Horrible. I have pictures on the room on google reviews

    Well l choose that motel because I was having a medical procedure done and it was near to my doctor’s office and it was the only place that offered a kitchen with cookware dishes and utensils but guess what? When I got back from the grocery store getting ready to prepare my meal it was nothing else besides the 3 lids and not pots, utensils or dishes when I called the office their answer was that was only offered in the winter but it was not specified anywhere on what was included had to go purchase pots and pans and utensils and everything else I need to eat. A couple days later ran out of of toilet paper and called the office to send someone with it and a clean towel waited all day and never got it ended using nose tissues so when I felt a little bit better enough to walk 4 blocks to the main office to what I needed in the heat fatigued almost passed out on the way back to the room I told the issues and answer was ( but it would been easier if you came to get yourself as you did now) and when I tried to explain her the reason why I didn’t go earlier she turned around walked away and left me talking to the glass it has been the worse week, the worse place and the worse customer service I ever had.

    Very good area to drive to the beach, clean when we arrived, area was nice. Didn’t like how sheets, towels, room etc weren’t cleaned until the second to last day we were there. Our stay was for 8 days.

    Sheets had hair red stains and the comforter was all burned with cigarettes. All night there was an odd smell in the room from the AC. As of meth was coming thru the vents. A chemical smell that kept me up all night. I notified the manager the next day and nothing was done. Just a “well you paid thru a 3rd party” no go. Foods crumbs all over the kitchen and in the fridge. And sad all over the chair and couch. Bad. However The mattress was comfortable. Way more bad than good.
