Daily cleaning of room, pleasant staff especially at check in, convenient location that was close to ocean, Broadwalk and food, we had a nice view of palm trees and partial water view from balcony. Very affordable.

This is an amazing stay for budget travelers. The suites are 2 min walk from the beach and within a 10 minute walk of dozens of great restaurants. The location is amazing for the price. It’s right off the Hollywood boardwalk. I also appreciated that the office has beach chairs to borrow for free. This is a great amenity since beach rentals can be so expensive. My room was spacious, well cleaned, and well air conditioned. There were a few features that I think really elevated the space - full sized fridge, microwave, coffee machine, a small dining table, even burners and cookwear. These small details make it sustainable for a longer stay. All this being said- this is definitely a cost conscious stay. There are no luxury amenities like breakfast, gym, office, and the pool is rather small. If you come here expecting glitz and glamour - it will not be for you. However if you are a low matinence and low cost traveler - this will be perfect. If you were interested in using a nicer pool- Margaritaville is a 10 minute walk and offers day passes to their pool for $60. All in all, I would definitely reccomend staying here and would come back.

The staff was extremely friendly. The boardwalk/beach was a short walk from the hotel. The room was extremely clean. If you are in Hollywood, Florida and looking for an affordable place to stay within walking distance of everything, I HIGHLY reccomend this place.

Convenient location to beach and restaurants. Comfortable bed and great pillows, soft blankets. Everything I needed from coffee pot and coffee, to utensils and glassware. Very clean room. In the evening another nearby guest put a large Bluetooth speaker outside and started blaring his music. It was vibrating my room and drowned out my tv. About an hour and a half before it stopped. I didn’t want to complain about a vacationing guest but I would have thought an employee would have been on top of that sooner. It was a Saturday and it’s expected to have happy, partying guest however, the loud volume I’m sure was disturbing to many other guests. It’s something for employees to monitor and be aware of.

The decoration, location and the comfort. The kitchen drawer smells like cucarachas and I think it has eggs of pop of the cucarachas.

Nice place to stay. Look little bit older but clean and well maintained. Close to the beach, close to walking area with lots of restaurants and stores. Just perfect for easy vacation.

Even though there was a nominal parking fee, I appreciated ample onsite parking. The beach is a stones throw to beach boardwalk for a fun stroll. The TV was good though a little hi tech with 2 remotes. Assistance was very quick. Also had an issue with the ceiling fan, again quick staff response. A big plus to have a room ceiling fan! Love the plush bed mattress, unbelievably soft and comfy like you’d find at a five star hotel! Clean bathroom room and definitely worth the cost I paid through Expedia. Wish the hotel would find an indoor space for the laundry attendant. Too hot for staff working outside and not a great look for the establishment outside of the office. Typical older beach hotel but for me having the onsite parking and beach proximity were my top priorities. Enjoy!!

Lovely spot! Beach chairs & beach towels were available. Great location. The pool was clean & had good sun & shade exposure. Close to the beach & all the restaurants & shops. Daily room service for towels & making the bed was wonderful. The room was a bit dated but was very clean. The bed could use a comfy topper (but that may just be my preference!) Overall we will be back & stay here again!

I LOVE this place! It is right on the beach. There are places everywhere to rent beach umbrellas, chairs you name it. The prices are VERY reasonable on the boardwalk and everyone is friendly. It is a nice beach too!! We had a late flight out of FLL and for $35 we got to keep our room until 3 pm the next day. I will be back , I have found my easy no stress beach vacation at a reasonable price, clean, great location could not recommend this place enough!!! Book it

This place gives you the whole beach vibe while on vacation. The place was neat and clean. There were not a lot of bugs around there were no mosquitos. The other residents were friendly. I would definitely come back. Staff was respectable.

Our stay was wonderful. We arrived early and they were able to store our luggage. They offered towels and beach chairs to enjoy as well. As soon as the room was ready they called us. It was perfectly clean. Overall we had a wonderful time. Definitely will stay here again.

Amazing stay! The staff was amazing and the office offered beach toys, beach chairs, and beach towels. They offer late check out for two different times that is actually reasonable and affordable. The property is clean and they will come in and housekeep everyday to make sure of it. Updated and literally right next to the beach and boardwalk. 15/10 would recommend and return for our next stay!

We love staying here every time we are visiting Hollywood. Close to the beach, nice staff, and always love our room. Always smells so clean when we walk in. Having beach chairs and beach towels available for our use is a huge plus.

I liked it, there were a few issues with the room and the staff changed it. Ryan was very helpful. I liked the pool which was great because there was so much seaweed in the ocean. I would just recommend that they use a bit less chlorine because smelled bad. I’ll return.

It’s definetely worth what you pay for. It is all about location!! We were a 2 minute walk from the broadwalk and the beach, which is exactly what we wanted. The staff was friendly and accommodating, as we checked in early and checked out late. They also provided beach chairs & towels which was unexpected but very appreciated! Would definitely come back

Moldy broken frig. Party's with blaring music from rooms and someone had boom box at pool so never able to use. Propery did not enforce noice policy. Maintence man was awesome. Girl at desk understood why we checked out early. Our neighboring room was out on patio drinking and was bragging how many guns they had with them. Nope my elderly mother didn't feel safe and unable to sleep with all the noise. The worst hotel experience I've ever had!

Really enjoyed our one night pre cruise stay. We were in building 6 on the second floor just steps from the beach and broadwalk. Would definitely stay again.

I loved the look of the room. The shutters just reminded me of an old Florida look. The kitchen area was great. We had plenty of room. The hotel is situated just right on Hollywood Beach. So close to everything. The pool was fine.

The pool area was the only disappointment, as it had old poolside furniture and not enough tables to set your things on, and the water was not pristine clean as it should be. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Love staying here!!! Getting ready to book my third stay. Very cute rooms steps away from Hollywood Beach for a price that cannot be beat. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They offer beach towels and chairs for the beach (super nice and convenient). My family and I are beach/water babies so being able to essentially stay at the beach on a small budget, just makes my heart happy. Love the close shopping and the many restaurants.

For the price, this place is totally fine. The pool is clean and a nice hangout. The rooms are good and sheets and towels were clean. You may need to ask for certain things to be taken care of but they do get done when you ask. My floor hadn',t been cleaned in awhile but it was done when I mentioned it to front desk. This is a 40's/50's throwback but it's well taken care of and a block from Hollywood Beach and all the boardwalk has to offer. The room was tiny but clean and cute and all we needed. For the price it's definitely a hidden gem. If I'm back in the area I'd definitely stay again

These are older buildings. So they aren’t going to be perfect. We had a great time. Great location. We stayed in the coral rock house. Saturday night was Tuff to sleep. So FYI on that location. This unit had pots,pans and dishes. The hot water heater either got very hot or cold. Little stuff like this. Parking is tuff in this location. They save 1 car spot. I would stay there again.

We stayed here for one night before our flight back home after a cruise and we’re already planning on coming back to stay for another vacation just at this hotel! It’s super cute, close to the beach, and in a great spot for food/drinks/shops. Everything we needed was in walking distance. The staff is also super kind and helpful !

The Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The kitchenette is perfect with basic everything you need.

We were first given keys to an occupied room. The exterior of the building needed some cleaning, quite a bit of trash laying around.

This is our favorite place to stay when we visit . We have stayed other places but this is our go to. Location is great too . Rooms are clean , beds comfortable. It’s quiet at night . The only con is the hot water needs to be hotter but other than that can’t complain.

The room was not clean. Everything from stains on the ceiling, walls, floors and hair in the bed. There were roaches all over the room even in the refrigerator. The staff were dismissive and not attentive. We've stayed several times prior, this was a let down and our vacation was ruined. When we finally spoke with a manager all we got was why didn't you say anything sooner. As if that made a difference when there any roaches are everywhere and looking for a new hotel last minute. So we spent most our time on the beach and eating out of restaurants not being able to save left overs plus sleeping fully clothed every night..

Beautiful stay right off the beach and boardwalk. Parking was directly outside the room which made everything super convenient. It was only about a one-minute walk to the beach and located right in between Ocean Drive. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the property was clean throughout the stay. Most of the staff mainly spoke Spanish but were still very helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious enough to comfortably fit my mother’s motorized rolling chair. We had a studio queen room with a nice stand-up shower. Overall, it was a beautiful place and a great stay

This was a great place to stay, the staff was amazing (I can’t say enough nice things about the two ladies at the desk) very close to the beach just a short walk. It was very clean only issue I had was the bed was hard/ broke down in the room but the pull out bed was OK.

Very nice place, especially for the price. Just a one minute walk from the beach. Spacious, clean room with kitchen area. Nice, very clean pool. They give you a beach towel with a beach bag for the beach, and you can keep a beach chair throughout your stay. Very satisfied.

After a long 45 hr drive and putting my luggage in the room that looks nothing like it does in the pictures they advertise I had to rush back to the front desk to show my service dogs certificate which I was forced to or I had to leave. The front desk had an attitude with me even when check out time came I woke up a few minutes after 11 rushing to get out and packing my luggage back in my car I was checked on 3 times in less then 15 mins then was threatened that the supervisor said I would have to pay an additional $20. I spoke with the manager and he stated only if I checked out after 1pm then I would have to pay that. Ended up not paying it because I left way before 11:30am. Wasn’t happy with my stay mostly due to the front desk’s attitude and the misleading picture on the rooms.

The property was easy to find. Staff gave good instructions on how to find our room. Rooms look much nicer online, unfortunately. Our suite was dirty- old dirt on the white doors. I wiped it with a disinfectant wipe and took seconds to clean, so I know nothing is getting wiped down. The shower had sand on the floor. The toilet had old urine on the seat. There was a sanitary pad sticker from a bathing suite stuck to the entry door. It was just all wrong. Luckily, we only needed the space to sleep and change clothes throughout our stay. Thank goodness I brought disinfectant wipes. I ended up cleaning the suite to make it tolerable and more comfortable to use. We were hoping to use the pool but didn’t. I was uncomfortable and unsure of it after experiencing the uncleanliness in our room.

The location and accessibility to the Broadwalk and beautiful beach deserves 15 stars. It is an older hotel but comfortable and the staff very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again.

Location was great for beaches, bars and restaurants. Had to pay for parking which wasn’t advertised. Was a lot of outside noise due to other residents.

The property is two floors, but there is no elevator, which was an issue for us, but I could foresee being an issue for others. The young man working at the front desk was friendly and very helpful with making food, suggestions and suggestions of things to do in the area. The beach is about a mile away, but there are many busy streets and crosswalks to get there, so we ended up taking CitiBike. There’s a Dunkin and McDs really close by. 20 min from Miami airport. we only stayed one night after we got back from our cruise. Did the trick for us. Good location.

Stay here with my gf every once and few years and we love it. Feels like a lil apartment.

Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their work. Room was clean bed was very comfortable, air conditioner was great. The only issue I had was no hot water in the bathroom sink and shower just warm enough to take a shower.

We did not check in until approximately 11:00 PM due to our late flight, and there was no one available to assist us upon arrival. As a result of the insect presence in the room, we were unable to rest comfortably and did not get adequate sleep. After further review, I found reports indicating that this pest issue has been ongoing since 2014. This situation is unacceptable and does not meet reasonable standards of cleanliness or professionalism expected from a rental property. Due to these unsanitary conditions and the disruption to our stay, we are requesting a full refund.

The room featured a separate bedroom with a queen bed, a large living room area with a sofa/daybed that slept 2 people. There was a good sized fridge, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, stovetop. Air conditioning was nice and cold. Location is convenient and a very short walk to the beach. Beach towels and folding chairs were available at the front desk which was a nice option

Unmatched location to the beach for the price. Staff is absolutely fantastic & so customer-Friendly. Older property but is kept-up nicely with updated furnishings.

The room was fine but the sink was clogged and that made it difficult to enjoy.

This was the 4th time I have stayed at Hollywood Boutique Hotel. It is clean but could use some updating. It is in a great location to the beach, restaurants and night life. If you’re looking for a quick getaway, this is the area to stay in. Really do not need a car - just uber from Ft.Lauderdale. There are plenty of stores in the area to pick up essentials. I will visit again !

Checkin was easy, staff very nice. Rate reasonable. Beach chairs to use free of charge was nice. We stayed in 2 units before and after a cruise. We arrived very early and could leave our luggage there at no charge and were called when our room was ready, a bit earlier than the normal check-in. Location is great, beach just a short walk. Full fridge, stove and microwave is nice although we didn't stay long enough to utilize. Cons: A bit outdated with few amenities. If you're accustomed to a modern hotel it's probably not for you. If you prefer a good view look for something else at much greater expense. Dishes, silverware not complete. May be hard to have a full meal if you want to skip eating out If you only want a place to hang your hat it would work just fine.

We got into town and our GPS took us to Ocean Blvd which was great but because the motel doesn’t have a sign that you can see from the road we couldn’t find it. I called the motel and asked for a Landmark the lady had no clue and ran me in circles instead of just telling me. It’s hidden behind another building. We wanted to get ice for our drinks and never found an ice machine.

Great property close to the beach great vacation

The bed was comfortable but it felt like there was sand in it. When you pressed down on the mattress you could feel the sand was coming out. It was a little odd but we were only staying for the night.

Had a great experience. Only thing that didn’t meet expectations was the trundle bed. It could use updated mattresses. Parking was not included and added extra charge of 12.00. I would suggest adding this to room charge for easier check in. Great food and location.

The location (2 minute walk to beach/boardwalk with many restaurants) and staff were fantastic, and I liked having a full kitchenette. There is affordable parking and beach chairs/towels/beach bags for free loan to guests, which was amazing. We were in building 5 and had no issues with noise. There were 2 issues that impacted our stay, otherwise I would have given 5 stars for the many positives and the reasonable rate. First, the window lock on our bathroom didn't work. Even though it was a small window that only could have been entered by a very small person, it still creeped me out and I stuck the cutting board from the kitchen into the upper panel to jam it so it couldn't be opened. Second, there was some type of mustiness or mildew that wasn't a super strong odor but caused me and my son to sneeze and have a lot of congestion while in the room. We weren't in there much so I didn't bother to mention it to the front desk, but on our very last night the issue became brutal. We sneezed and sneezed all night long, even after taking Benadryl. I don't know where it was coming from because there was no visible mold etc. Maybe it was in the A/C unit, I'm not sure. I mention this because it was bad enough for us, and if someone has asthma I would be concerned about them staying in this room.

I got there after check in time & was assigned a room. When I got to the room it was literally still being cleaned & I had to wait 20 more minuted to access the room. Then there was no coffee machine & nowhere on property to even get hot water. Then to top it all off, I found a roach in my room in the morning. This place is LITERALLY a roach motel! Find somewhere else to stay!

This is no boutique facility which implies an upscale enviroment, this is no resort which would imply pleasant grounds with outdoor facilities, there is only a small pool alongside a busy road which was never viewed as used during my stay. The place is old to include old school window A/Cs that are maintained well and upon discovery were found dirty with mold and bacteria. See photos. I will say it is close to the beach and the bed was comfortable.

The place is run down and in disrepair. For example the only electric outlet in the bathroom did not work. The bed and chairs were old and uncomfortable. It was very noisy even past 10:00 pm. I brought it up to the front desk but they did not do anything about it. Overall, the place was not as advertised.

The window AC leaked water onto the floor (Room 22), but it was cool enough that it was not needed. If fixable, this should be done ne before hot weather sets in. I would stay here again.

Located next to beach and walking area so was great for quick stop before cruise. Staff really helpful, suggested places to eat and transfer options to cruise terminal.

We have stayed here twice before, and while those visits were not great, they were acceptable for the price and location. This visit, however, will be our last. We were placed in Building 9, which had the noisiest neighbors imaginable. There appears to be zero accountability for noise levels. For three nights, we barely slept at all. One neighboring unit was fighting throughout the night, while another had people outside smoking, drinking, and being loud. To make matters worse, we were woken up at 4:00 a.m. by screaming and yelling from the other side. And that doesn’t even include the constant early-morning noise from garbage trucks coming through. It honestly felt like a scene from a bad movie. Our room was never cleaned during our stay. We had to request towels on the second day despite never once having a “Do Not Disturb” sign up. Cleanliness was completely unacceptable—there were multiple cockroaches in the room (we killed three), which made us extremely uncomfortable and worried about them crawling into our bed. The bathroom was poorly maintained, and the floors were noticeably sticky. Between the nonstop noise, lack of housekeeping, and serious cleanliness issues, this stay was unacceptable. For those wondering why we stayed the full three days, we were traveling with several other couples. Leaving last minute and booking elsewhere would have cost thousands of dollars. We chose to suck it up—but we will never return.

The front desk employees were simply wonderful! I was able to get into my room a smidge early, and when my flight was delayed, they were gracious to store my carry on bag. The room was just the right size, VERY comfortable bed. Having a mini fridge was great for drinks and leftovers. The shower was hot and everything was spotlessly cleaned! I will definitely rebook!

The front desk Agent on the 7-3 shift, very polite, attention and even gave me an upgrade which was nice because it was my birthday trip. The room was clean and I especially loved the mattress being zipped up in a pad. The only thing was just even though the walls are thin, it was guest sitting outside loud talking and such, but they eventually left so no problem there anymore! This is always my go to when in Hollywood.

Rooms was great, location is great as it is very close to the boardwalk. Only drawback is that i went during the cold storm and the hotel does not have heat. They provided my with a small portable desk heater to warm up the room. Other than that the stay was great.

Needs major renovations. Very dark at night for a solo traveler. Door lock inadequate, unsafe. Bathrooms old, moldy, low water pressure. The beds for both bedroom and trundle in living room very uncomfortable, Bedding on trundle ding. Sparse furnishings. I would not recommend.

Comfortable room

The location was perfect! Steps from the beach and the boardwalk. So many restaurants to choose from. The beach chairs and towels were a nice touch. The room was not new but very clean. We didn’t use the kitchenette—too many food choices close by. The only downside was that the living room had a twin bed and chair but no couch. For a family it would probably be nice to have the extra bed. We would have preferred a place to sit in the living room but a minor inconvenience. We would stay here again.

Upon arrival, the room itself appeared to be surface clean and smelled strongly of disinfectant. The room had seen better days. When we returned from dinner, we were greeted by two very large cockroaches. The area around the hotel didn't feel safe to me. There were a lot of young partiers, and a police presence didn't reassure me. After seeing the cockroaches, we packed up and moved to a different hotel. Had we stayed, the loud air conditioning and the partiers nextdoor probably would have kept us up all night anyway. Also, the property is not directly on the beach if that matters.

The room itself was very basic. The TV was not working upon arrival, and the shower was leaking from above the bathroom, causing water to spill all over the floor. Overall, the stay did not meet basic cleanliness or maintenance expectations. Other hotels in the area with same distance to boardwalk.

A/C kept tripping the breaker, no fan, couldn’t open window in bathroom, dirty outside around property. Shady drunks loitering on property when we checked in.

This is our second time staying here. It’s got a pool (extra cold but being from the Midwest, we managed), friendly staff, kitchen with almost everything you can use (could really use a scissors or a sharp knife). Lobby has chairs and towels and just steps from the beach and Broadwalk which has all kinds of restaurants and foods (our favorite is the 3G at Florios). Air conditioners wok but make sure to turn off the energy saver at night or it will constantly shut off and turn on which can be really loud and irritating. Lots of staff around if you need new towels but don’t need the full house cleaning. Everything was great and we will be back!

What a dump for $120 a night such a dump , roach infested, window unit AC was on his last leg. I’m glad it wasn’t hot, takes electronic engineer to figure out and find a TV channel , TV was useless. The room was so small barely big enough for one person and no coffee. What place doesn’t have a coffee maker. Can I get a refund?

Electrical needs attention. Had to reach behind fridge to unplug microwave in order to plug in coffee maker. Front door courtyard lights were blinking on and off the whole night, every night. No blackout blinds. Tiny bathroom, no hot water to shower. Odd room layout.

We stayed only 2 days during our trip. The location was oke, property needs a little upgrade. Some furniture little damaged and some small maintenance due.

We were surprised to see that we had a living room(Bed as couch), kitchen, a good sized bedroom and A BALCONY! We paid a total of $103 and some change. I was surprised to hear the deposit was $100 dollars but we got it back after checkout (the day of)

Arrived at about 2pm knowing that checkin was at 3pm. They checked me in and said to wait a bit as they were finishing up cleaning the room. They do take your luggage for storage. Took down my number and said they would call when my room was ready. They called about 5 min later and our room was ready.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, was able to check in early and out late for a great price and they give you complimentary beach chairs and towels! Will definitely be staying here again!

Location- just a short walk across the boardwalk to the beach Staff- front desk staff was polite and helpful Amenities: sizable number of beach chairs are available to borrow/bring to the beach Cons: Room was filthy. Don’t think it was even swept, there was dirt and sand all over the floors when we arrived. Shower head was gross and moldy. Closet door was beat up and broken. 2 TVs in the room were not plugged in or even set up. Had to spend 20 minutes figuring out how to change the default spanish settings to English, and scan for channels, only to get just a couple non-local channels. Only 1 remote to operate both TVs with. Blinds behind bedroom headboard were patch worked together as the sizes didn’t fit the size of the window, which allowed for a bright alleyway light to shine directly onto the bed

We arrived way early. Took a long walk to the CVS. Wish we had know about Circuit, great shuttle service for $2 a ride. Knowing about this would have improved our stay. The Broadwalk was very nice and the beach was beautiful.

Staff was fantastic. They were super helpful. The rooms are large and spacious. This property is in walking distance to the beach and clean. My only concern was the noise outside our room. We were near a public sidewalk and people were loud outside our window. I wish they had better control of that.

Refrigerator did not work even though the freezer half did. No deadbolts on room doors even though they are open to the outside. Someone else's hair was balled up in the shower drain. Air conditioner was very loud. Several light bulbs were out. Price for the room was very cheap though, and now we know why. Very convenient location by the beach at least.

The place was unsafe with police cars swarming around and closing for an active crime investigation which happened in the property and police was present next morning. The room itself was very old and needed refurbishing. Only beachfront was accurate.

Fantastic location but rooms REALLY need an overhaul. Staff were good (except they forgot to make up our room 1 day), there are really no amenities. With some updating of rooms and grounds, it would make a workd of difference.

Perfect location only half a block from the beach and Boardwalk. This spot is my new favorite place. The suites are also right sized with a mini kitchen area complete with fridge, microwave, and stovetop. Kitchen also came with all the cooking and eating utensils needed.

This is where I always stay, have been for years. There is construction going on in the area but it was no big deal. I still love the place, from the office, to the cleaning staff, everyone is always so nice. And the proximity to the beach and boardwalk are a bonus!

Always our go to for a quick stay in Hollywood Beach. Staff is accommodating, allowing for early check-in. If available. The hotel offers complementary beach chairs, and towels to use hotel is very basic, but always clean and comfortable. Centrally located. minimal fees to park and upgrade ect.

air con was noisy; our suite was right next to dumpster so 5:00am garbage truck came to empty. Otherwise all good.

Air cond & overhead fan was much appreciated. Nice big shower. Location was excellent, rigjt near beach & lots of restaurants. Loved the fridge & kitchen area. Liked the outside sitting options. Cute pool but didnt use. Would stay again.

Excellent value for the money. Rooms are large and very clean though not exactly fancy. Staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. We also appreciated the provided beach towels and outstanding location.

We have stayed 3 other times and chose it because of the location— this time, the front desk clerk was even more personable and professional than our previous visits. And our room, building 9 is the best we have had yet. We will stay there again

Great value. Clean rooms, friendly staff, close to the beach, restaurants, and water taxi. Cold AC and far enough away from the strip so it wasnt loud, felt safe at night.
