    I booked this particular hotel because of the hot tub, I called and asked upon arrival if the hot tub was available today, it was advised yes. When I went downstairs to use the hot tub it wasn’t working, maintenance came out to confirm that it was down and not heating properly. Disappointed definitely, could have booked elsewhere and received what I wanted.

    Upon arrival the staff was super helpful. We had a quick and easy check in process. The lobby, pool, and restaurants were beautiful and clean. We stayed on the fifth floor and as soon as I got out of the elevator, as someone who owns a home remodeling business, I could immediately tell there was a moisture issue. There was a definite musty smell. The room was clean, well appointed and the beds were comfortable. Perfect for a one night stay.

    I waited 45 minutes to an hour for the shuttle. I’ll call the hotel three times and they’re sending me all over the place. The first time I was downstairs then they told me I gotta go for an extra to 324. Wait there I waited there for an extra 45 minutes and I finally call them again she told me that the driver said that he is there and he wasn’t finally after getting off the phone with her he showed up then once I’m in the truck she called him to pick me up and then he turned around and look at me and said you’re Miss Douglas and I said yes and I told him I’ve been waiting 45 minutes for him

    This hotel is very good Clean good food we have swimming outdoor nice view. I just have the nights because I’m leaving early so I don’t take any breakfast there but I like it. It’s more better. It’s clean very clean. At least we sleep for something. You deserve it.

    From the front desk being amazing and answering all my calls to the Manager that picked us up at 10:30pm from the airport, they were top notch!! 10/10 for the staff. They also helped us set up a ride to the cruise port in Miami!! If you are cruising, this is your place!!

    This hotel was nice. Most people are here because they have a flight to catch so this is their one over night stop. We stayed because we were in town for a concert. The hotel and our room were clean, nothing fancy. Our room was right beside the ice machine and elevators, which made for a lot of noise. But overall, this hotel was in a great, convenient location to everything we wanted to do.

    I loved this hotel. Great hotel for the price. The pool is beautiful, and there's a hot tub. I was pleasantly surprised about how good the food was. I had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, and both were great. There is also a bar in the hotel, which is nice. It feels like a more expensive hotel.

    For the most part everything was good with a few major flaws for our crowd. The main bar restaurant doesn't open until 5pm the pool bar never opened. The breakfast staff was overwhelmed but thankfully the lovely waitress Eileen saved the morning!! Overall for our short stay was good.

    Air conditioner did not work in our room so they moved us to a 2nd room where the toilet would not flush. Went to use washroom in the lobby only to find out to late thst it was out of toilet paper. Went to wash my hands and all soap dispensers were empty. I would not reccomend this hotel.

    Music blasting could not talk to anyone. Did not stop at stop signs, rolled thru them. Extreme speed , especially on side streets and was very ruff on the brakes, you had to hold on extremely tight. We asked him to slow down and he laughed, then middle age couple next to us said she was not joking, your driving unsafe.

    Our room was filthy, toilet only flushed after 6 times holding the handle down after each use, there was a man getting arrested out front, extremely loud guests pounding on doors at 2am, 10pm our entire room smelled like weed - looked out to find people smoking in the stairwell and all drafting to our room. Not ideal for 2 guys kids, one with asthma. The pool area was nice enough. Staff was kind at check in. Unfortunately didn’t feel the price matched the quality this round, upgraded need to be made.

    Was charged twice for the hotel room. Manager, Sabrina advised it was an error and would immediately be refunded upon check out however, I wasn’t. I called back to receive a call from another manager, Tyrone and haven’t heard back. My account has overdraft and I was charged a fee because of this double charge. I also ordered a steak from the restaurant that was burnt on the inside and completely uncooked red on the outside. Not the best customer service. The bartenders were amazing despite everything.

    Upon check out I then found out that we were charged an extra $25 for an early check in which was not mentioned at all when we checked in. If there was a fee this should have been made clear to us. The airport shuttle was also overbooked and we were had to sit on each others laps although we all had reservations at the front desk. This caused a delay with all of the confusion as well as an uncomfortable right. It's too bad because I normally give this hotel a 5 star review but not this time.

    Pleasant pool / patio area Hotel understaffed . No one to help with luggage at all ( we are 80/76yr). Stayed 2 night and after the first they did not refresh/cleaned the room in spite of having requested before we left in the late morning. When came back aprox 6 pm room was as we left it and they said there was nothing they could do , requested clean towels but were not brought to our room. Would not be back.

    The pool and hot tub was really good. The hotel itself probably needs a facelift. The staff was friendly. There wasn’t much to do around the hotel in walking distance, shopping, restaurants etc. If you have a car it’s ok if you have to use ride share be prepared to pay lots

    Upon arriving, I was able to find a helpful airport staff member who called for me, and while we were kept waiting on hold, eventually he got through and gave me the location to wait for the shuttle. We waited amidst the throngs of spring break travellers for an hour, which after a 12 hour travel day was nothing short of brutal; but, no shuttle. We tried to call back - we couldn't get through. My mother is 70 years old and exhausted, so we finally had to take an expensive cab ride, which after the already high cost of this hotel was extremely frustrating. I explained what happened when checking in, and the front desk staff absolutely did not care. They said it's busy and the shuttle is busy, move along. An hour seems wildly unreasonable to me, but they did not care, not even an ear let alone an apology was offered. This one night in this hotel cost me $500 for a 12 hour stay; I've never been so disregarded, and disappointed.

    Last minute stay due to flight cancelation. Everything was wonderful from Airport shuttle, friendly and helpful desk and restaurant staff, immaculate room with comfy bed. Return shuttle to airport was not yet operating during our very early flight but front desk secured a private shuttle which was excellent. The pool was awesome.     Proximity to FLL airport. Advertised as a hotel with a shuttle from FLL Airport. Foundout after booking it stopped at 11 pm and was advertised from 6 am to 12 am, as a result had to pay for seperate transportation both ways. Normal breakfast at hotel begins at 6 am, this hotel started at 7 am and due to flight time total missed breakfast offering Finally the room cost for a last minute booking was exorbantent. We paid $ 569 for one night at a 3.4 rated hotel. You should be ashamed of your pricing practices.

    The room was very dated and the carpet and bed clothes felt very damp. The toilet tissue holder in the washroom was rusted and the lamps in the hotel room were showing signs of rusting. Light over the kitchenette was burnt out. Shuttle to airport only runs once an hour so we had to wait an hour upon arriving at the airport for hotel shuttle and then had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready

    The check in and room were adequate, only one complaint, the shower pressure was next to nil and the actual shower head was coming out of the wall. The tile around it broken and the sheetrock barely holding the shower head. Actually kind of gave me the creeps, first thing I thought was is there a camera in there?? I was going to tell front desk at check out (I only stayed one night) but the line was incredibly long and I didn't wish to wait.

    Pool area was ok. Restaurant was only open for breakfast. We did not see it open for lunch, dinner or bar service and we were there at 5pm. We did witness a waitress act extremely rude to a gentlemen who tried to get her attention during breakfast. We did not witness him do anything that warranted that reaction. Room was nice, although dated. Our toilet paper dispenser was not screwed into the wall securely so every time we used it, it would tip and the whole roll would fall off the holder. We had no issue with shuttle back to the airport. We would not stay here again.

    Hotel was booked well in advance of what turned out to be the Snowpocalypse of February 2026. There was a regional and statewide (MA) state of emergency, full transportation & government shutdown, national guard deployed, travel ban (not that travel was possible), power failure for days, no internet, phone, tv. I was unable to even start the trip let alone complete it. The hotel AND Expedia gave me the run around & refused a refund. This is after Expedia posted on the website that change/cancel fees would be waived Feb 22-24. This is an exceptional circumstance for the refund policy, but they refused. To add insult to injury the hotel and expedia ask me "How was my check-in?" & "How was my stay?" Do better Expedia, IHG, & Holiday Inn. I'm definitely not planning on using Expedia and/or IHG in the future.

    Unfortunately, there were only a handful of chairs for the size of the patio and the people, they do day passes for the pool area which makes it hard to get a chair. The towels provided are more like hand towel size and the smoking area is right next to the nonsmoking area so it could have all been smoking and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. The restaurant and bar open at 5 and seemed overwhelmed by a small amount of people. We ordered drinks and they were terrible. What bartender can’t even make an old fashioned, a mule and a margarita?? The front desk staff is awesome! Friendly, helpful and efficient. Overall a good experience and I would stay again but with managed expectations. The room was nice, spacious and clean but the carpet was damp. They seemed to be making some improvements in the lobby but the building did seem a little tired. The area seems a little rough as well but Dania area is close and nice.

    There was no shuttle from the airport as included in the price. We were not allowed to pay for a cot for my son even though we paid in advance for 2 rooms with two double beds intended for 9 guests. We paid over $1100 for one night's stay before a cruise and it was SO overpriced- no airport shuttle, no restaurant/food at night, kids had to sleep on the floor (no cot allowed) and the rooms are run down and dingy for a very expensive nightly rate.

    Overall it was a good place to stay and be surrounded by all the wonderful things Florida has to offer. Staff were nice, the pool was heated, and the room was fairly clean upon arrival. The only downside was an unpleasant smell when we entered the room. The second day the smell was gone and I could tell it was properly cleaned while we were out. Overall I would stay again in the future

    I called the hotel for a shuttle pickup. Was told where to wait and I waited for 1hour and 45 minutes. Called hotel 6-8 times put on hold 15+ minutes or they simply hung up. I paid for taxi to get there. Said I was at the wrong place and wanted name of the person who gave me wait where I did. I spoke with Expedia,they called hotel and hotel reimbursement me for the cost of the taxi.

    We chose this hotel specifically because it was advertised as having the unique feature of a pool bar. The pool bar was not open, even though it was a busy Sunday afternoon and in fact, even the indoor bar wasn’t open. There was nowhere to get a cocktail for the start of our vacation. There was no where to purchase food either, even though the website advertised a restaurant. The restaurant was only open for an evening dinner and morning breakfast, which was good, but when we arrived at noon, there were no options for eating or drinking.. The room was OK but very dated and in in need of updating as well as the hallways and interior of the entire hotel..

    We arrived early after requesting early check in. We were told around 2 pm for our room and our room was never available until 530 PM. One of the staff members (did not wear a name tag) was less than helpful and very unpleasant basically walking away from us when trying to check on room status. When we requested bedding for the pull out bed - we were brought 1 fitted sheet 1 pillow and 1 light blanket (no pillow case). We requested a 2nd pillow (there were 6 in our suite) only to be told there were none available - 15 minutes later we were delivered another pillow that was dirty with no case again. The toilet was slow to flush and not working properly. Over all just not very clean and chaotic when it came to accommodating guests. Not the service or standards you would expect at a Holiday Inn. It felt very much more comparable to a much lower end quality.

    I have been trying to get in touch with Hotels.com. I did not stay at the Holiday Inn. They had a fire the day before and told me to contact Hotel.com for a refund. I stayed at Comfort Suites, Dania Beach. The day I returned home I called Hotels and was on hold. They took my number and said they would call me back. I dd not get a call back. I've been catching up on business but I would like a refund please! Thank you. I said it was terrible to get your attention.

    Well there was an electrical fire on our 2nd floor room. The fire alarm went off at 4:45 am. The whole building was evacuated. Hollywood fire department got everyone out safely. Thank God for those rescue workers. The sprinkers went off in our room so we could not stay there any longer they did nothing to help us find another room or give us our money back.     Unfortunately, Fort Lauderdale had record breaking low temperatures while we were there. The heater in our room didn't work. We reported it to the front desk 5 times. Each time, they told us they would send someone to fix it. No one ever came. We asked them to move us to another room, and they said they were fully booked. I finally found a maintenance man in the hall and he came to look at it and verified that it couldn't be fixed. He offered me extra blankets, but said he couldn't make a price adjustment. I know this hotel was not equipped for cold weather, but the customer service was terrible. This was a terrible experience and I will never stay here again.

    Staff support was brutal. Very slow service in all aspects. Restaurant quality was terrible and the price for what was offered was ridiculous. The building is run down, and pumped with fragrance plug-ins to mask the crumbling infrastructure. Lastly, there was a fire!! Terrible experience; we will never return!!!!!

    We stayed on the 3rd floor, in room 325, & the hallway & our room smelled SUPER strong like mold. *To be fair, we came in late & did not tell staff, but we don’t feel the room should’ve been rentable until the mold issue is taken care of, as it was not faint. There was only 1 trash can, which was in the restroom, which was strange for a room that size, with a kitchenette. Pool was beautiful & hot tub was great!

    Temperature was well controlled. Neat and tidy. Could provide better access to the curtains, part of it was not moveable. Rooms can be equipped with a a stash of sugar and creamer. A microwave will be awesome, especially when coming in to check in at late night.

    At 255pm i called the hotel and tyrone told me that the shuttle driver would be notified and he did ntp know what happend prior.. We finally were picked up by the shuttle at 330pm. We waited 1.5 hrs. When we finally got to the hotel at 4pm . The check in individual was very apologetic. The manager Tyrone honestly did not seem to care and said he would have to find out what happened. Not even a true acknowledgement that this was not ok .We never heard a word... I have never had such a disappointing experience from a Holiday inn We booked in part for the shuttle . While we waited we say multiple shuttles go by 4 times. I would bever stay here again . If we had known we would have taken an uber or taxi . In fainess we could have walked faster .

    We stayed one night while passing through Fort Lauderdale and would definitely stay here again. The staff provided excellent service, the room was spacious and very clean, and we appreciated having both a restaurant and bar onsite. The pool area is very nice and has a hot tub. The area near the hotel has a ton of shopping and dining options. It is an older property but it is clean and well maintained.

    The main issue during my stay was the room condition. There was a persistent mildew or wet-towel odor that made the room uncomfortable, and the space itself felt outdated. The smell gave the impression that there may be moisture or ventilation issues that haven’t been properly addressed.     The stay and staff were very good. The only downside was how uncorfatble the bed was! The mattress was super hard and it was lumpy. There was no way of accomodating myself to be able to have a decent sleep the four nights I stayed. Pains all over and to visit my chiropractor upon my return home...     From Tuesday night through Friday morning, there was a very strong marijuana/burning smell on my floor. I reported this issue to the front desk on three different nights, yet nothing was done to resolve it. The smell was so strong that it woke me up out of my sleep and made my stay extremely uncomfortable and concerning for my health and safety. On the morning I checked out, the hotel’s maintenance worker, Jonathan, also confirmed that he smelled it. During checkout, I spoke with the front desk employee whose actual name is Sabrina. She was dismissive and only offered 10% back for the nights affected. When I first asked her for her name, she falsely claimed her name was “Tamikah,” even though she had just mentioned that “Tamikah” had called out that day. When I questioned the inconsistency, she then admitted her real name was Sabrina. This made me feel that she was trying to avoid accountability. When I asked for the corporate number, she provided a technical support number instead, and I have attempted to speak with the General Manager multiple times with no response. I am so lost for words the way I was treated and brushed off is unbelievable

    Airport shuttle service and they were very good at making sure to try to line up the driver van with the guest or guest to get them to the hotel. Plus the room was clean and there is a nice pool to swim in and there is a convenience store literally two minutes away in case you want any munchies. Plus there’s a McDonald’s right across the street but also many good restaurants in the area easily Uber to. Especially mad chicken, which had the best chicken wings I ever had.

    Staff has been very courteous and we were even able to do an early check in. Spent the day relaxing by their tropical pool and hot tub. Breakfast was delicious and Ilene a great waitress. Tamika was awesome at the front desk. We stayed with friends. My only complaint was the shower in our room trickled and hardly had any pressure and the toilet required us to hold the handle down the whole time it was flushing. We were in 429. Our friends were in 311 and had no issues with shower or toilet.

    Our room was noisy, we could hear the elevator and people talking at night. The shower floor had some spots with mold. The last day we stayed we removed the do not disturb sign so that they would clean the room but never got clean even that the cleaning guy who was in front the room saw us removing it before we left. In the pool area there was dog excrement by the hot tub. The only good things about this place was maybe the pool, the lizards, the iguanas and definitely Elaine the older lady serving the breakfast, she went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the breakfast area was well taken care of and other of the staff was super sweet and helpful. We heard by other guests who stayed before at the hotel that since the management changed everything has gone downhill, they said it used to be a great place to stay but not anymore.

    We stayed here for one night before our cruise leaving from Port Everglades. Room is clean, pool and hot tub are very nice and clean. Denny’s and McDonald’s are across the street, no other restaurants within walking distance. Also next to a gas station with a nice convenience store for snacks and such. Staff was pleasant, but they will charge you $25 if you want to check in early. This was our 2nd time staying here before a cruise and we would stay here again short term. Long term would be ok if you have a car.

    This was very disappointing. When hosting large events that impact guest accommodations—such as parking—the hotel should provide clear warnings or notices during the booking process so that guests are aware before committing to a reservation. When I paid online I was forced to pay a $11 fee per car for parking for the night and the irony of not finding a parking spot or getting some sort of rain check was very frustrating.

    The property was okay. Not much to do in the area there is a shopping center about 10 miles away but you need to get on the highway so it’s not in waning distance. You can tell they updated the hotel in some parts but the halls where the rooms are needs some TLC, and in the rooms. Seems like housekeeping just comes and spots cleans. Hair was still under my pillows. The buttons to the A/C Didn’t work. Carpet was coming up from the floor. Only had one front desk person during the busiest time of morning and poor guy was completely overwhelmed with check in/out and the phones. There was no breakfast on either day. But they put out coffee and other drinks. Cool for a night, but I wouldn’t get comfy there it was convenient for the price I guess.

    The property is conveniently located nextto a petrol/gas station with a mini mart so it was handy for getting drinks and snacks. There is a McDonald's and a Denny's diner across the road too as well as a tiny Colombian coffee shope next to the petril station. There is nothing else within walking distance as there are no pavements/sidewalks and main motorways nearby. Around the hotel is an indistrial area so not much to see or do. However there are plenty of places you can visit by uber or taxi, like Dania Pointe, Dania Beach and Las Olas, all a short distance away by car. The Fort Lauderdale airport is jist a short distance away, around 15 minutes by car. The hotel itself is ok for 1 or 2 nights, nothing wrong with it but nothing special either. The pool is nice and there's a restaurant and bar downstairs. The free airport shuttle was a big plus for me as i was travelling alone with my son. I'd stay again if i was travelling from Fort Lauderdale airport but this would not be my first choice for a family holiday.

    Tyrone was a great employee. Kat was great at the bar. Very helpful and honest. The last night a wallet was stolen and recovered by staff. 900$ was stolen. After filing a police report and watching cameras they "coincidentally " didn't work for the time frame it was recovered. It was obvious several staff members were in this together. Multiple lies and deception. Waited for the GM and never showed up. Outside of the theft we did enjoy two of the staff members

    They charge you to park in their own parking lot, which is absurd to me. $10 per vehicle per day. Won’t be staying here again.

    Front desk available at any time. Even when busy still steady and with smiles on their face. Shuttle was reliable fast and driver safe driver. Only downfall no microwave in room. But one accessible on 2nd floor. Pool beautiful clean and well maintained. Not too many food options in walking distance. Restaurant and bar available in hotel BUT we didnt opt for that. Nothing wrong prices and food did look good we were just wanting other things. Definitely will come back as wife and I frequent visitors in SOFLO. Oh and deposit is $50 a night you stay, one thing we were not told ,only told $50. But front desk accommodated us for error in miscommunication.

    Exactly place if you want to stay close to everything. Just a few upgrades to the bathroom would be nice. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

    Do not stay here! Smelt so bad literally came home the next day wreaking of mildew. There shuttle driver wasn’t pleasant to deal with either. I was in the wrong location and our whole ride back he was saying that he was waiting “two hours for me” and took multiple trips (I only waited 30 mins and stood where the hotel told me) but also why is he complaining about doing his job?? Maybe get a different job if your mad you had to drive and you drive a shuttle. I had no issues with the front desk and really appericate them accommodating me with early check in. Just wish this place didn’t smell so bad it would be a good location.
