I’ve stayed at the W before and have enjoyed my experience. I booked my daughter a room for her bday and she was asked for a $500 deposit for one night! That is insane and I wasn’t aware nor communicated about this deposit beforehand. Additionally the room wasn’t available at the time of check in. Pretty disappointed to say the least.

They have hidden fees at check out. $85 a night for valet that you can't say no to and doesn't say anywhere when booking . I had breakfast at the restaurant and paid with my card and it was still charged to my room so double charges. A small pepperoni pizza and a ginger ale $44 and the pizza looks like it came from a low budget movie theatre not at all the quality I was thinking for the price. I paid on expedia thinking that was my final cost sadly it wasn't.

I loved my stay. The staff are all polite, professional and helpful. The bar atmosphere was energetic and they had a live DJ since it was a Friday evening. My room was movie set themed but in the chicest way.

The property was beautiful and staff was friendly! No coffee in the lobby. Maybe it was put out later, but at 6:45 am there was no coffee to be found. There was a nespresso machine in the room but it wasn't replenished are the first day. I think it was an oversight but was hoping there was coffee in the lobby.

Location is excellent. Vibe is super fun. Parking cost is rediculois. The decor is just a bit tired. Furniture scratched, walls chipped, just needs to be refreshed

Trish she is very helpful best service. Restaurant and food were good-people were nice and helpful. Rooms are nice and clean. There were a few things we came to chill at the hotel and surrounding for my husbands birthday and there was everyday a pool party so we could not enjoy the roof top side and also nit have some quite relax time at the pool there were outside guest as well and not nice and private. Also difficult to have some relax time and see sunset.

The W Hollywood is an amazing hotel. The lobby and rooftop pool were modern and beautiful. Our room was spacious and modern. Staff members were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return!

All over the week-end, the pool wasn’t accessible because of a party. There was no mention of that when we booked.

The check in was beyond terrible. Over 40 minutes. I paid for king with a view and got the view of the side of a building. Was a VIP booking and received no food voucher each day or complimentary upgrade. The valet service was slow slow slow. I've stayed W before and this was not quite the same experience.

Our experience will all the staff, from front desk to the restaurant and bar, cleaning service, valets was excellent. They were friendly, responsive and genuinely conveyed their pleasure of bringing a good guest experience.

Housekeeping did a fantastic job. Very high standards for cleanliness. The pool area was beautiful and we particularly liked the dj. I would say that there were not enough beds, as it was mostly cabanas that you have to pay for. Only two cabanas were rented, so it was a waste of space in my opinion. Breakfast was good, particularly the breakfast burrito and honey lavender latte. Location is great, very central. Emilio and Mikayla also really stood out for exceptional and friendly service. The gym was great with lots of equipment. We would definitely recommend and return.

WE HAVE STAYED AT THE W MANY TIMES AND WE LOVE IT THERE. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING. WE RECEIVED A TEXT SHORTLY AFTER WE ARRIVED WELCOMING US AND LETTING US KNOW THAT IF THERE WAS ANYTHING AT ALL WE NEEDED TO LET THEM KNOW. THE HOTEL IS ALWAYS WELCOMING AND IN A VERY GOOD LOCATION. THE ROOMS ARE ALSO VERY CLEAN AND A NICE SIZE. WHENEVER WE GO TO LOS ANGELES WILL NEVER CONSIDER ANY PLACE OTHER THAN THE W.

The room was great. I wish the view was a little better but the property was nice and clean with a great smell as you enter the property. Valet parking is crazy expensive. I would find parking else where and make sure they explain fees included in bill.

We had a great 2 night stay. Comfortable room. Across the street from the Pantages. Beautiful bar and restaurant on site. Will make this our new Pantages weekend preferred stay.

The hotel and facilities were absolutely beautiful. The staff were all amazing. However the drinks and food were very very pricey. We had a daily $21 room credit to use and the one night we used it are two drinks minus that fee were still close to $60

The staff was so great. Our room was cleaned daily. We had a beautiful view of the observatory. We had a late checkin and they made sure our food credit applied for the next day. Concierge was very helpful!

The hotel is very well located, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. The overall atmosphere was vibrant yet welcoming. Honestly, everything met my expectations. If I had to mention something, perhaps minor details like occasional hallway noise, but nothing that affected my overall experience.

The W was a great stay. It was well maintained and had a little of everything you could want. The room was spacious and comfortable. The dining area was very clean and welcoming. The staff was amazing. I felt they really cared how you felt during your stay. I will recommend the W Hollywood and if I’m in the area for a show I will stay there again. Well worth the money.

The W is what I call a glamorous escape, the hotel tucked in Hollywood gives you the perfect location for an amazing stay , I love me a beautiful room let alone an all encompassing lobby that is beautifully designed the aesthetic of this remodel is definitely worth it , the options this hotel gives you are unlimited, the rooftop while we did not spend a lot of time there given it was cold is definitely a summer must return , secondly the staff , attentive , professional and prompt , warm and kind , basically imagine being close to everything in Hollywood and BH but make it luxurious and on a beautiful budget . 10/10 stay

This was a beautiful hotel. It really exceeded my expectations. Three of us stayed in a room with two queen beds and it was perfect. Loved the access to the pool.

All staff members were super friendly. We arrived early and were going to check our bags but the staff member looked and said there was a room available for us. The only thing we had issues with was the TV didn’t work when we arrived back to our room in the evening after 11pm. But it did work earlier in the day and the next morning.

Los Angles has defiantly become full of closed down stores, no police anywhere, the smell of urine on the sidewalks, empty stores that once attracted large amounts of tourists. I will not be returning to California ever again.

My first time staying at the W in Hollywood. What an absolute treat. From the moment you walk in the lobby has a great layout. Very open and pleasing on the eyes. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and made me feel excited that I had chosen to stay here. The room was a perfect size, had a Bluetooth speaker as well which was a nice touch. There was a little table with a booth like wrap around seating. Never seen that but enjoyed it. The pool was awesome. Drinks and food at the pool, at the bar downstairs, at the restaurant inside, all delicious. I have never felt more taken care of and welcomed in a hotel like I did in the W. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you W Hollywood.

My wife and I came to the W to celebrate my 1 year recovery from brain surgery & return to work. We intentionally booked a room so we could have a nice dinner locally and not have to drive home. We planned to make a pool day of it the second day. However, the entire pool area was bought out, and the staff asked us to move as they took our seats. We were offered a refund of our destination fee - which we had already been refunded due to being Expedia members. Incredibly disappointed in the poor communication and ruining such a special celebration we planned.

This hotel never disappoints! From the service, to the room itself….everything is wonderful. The room is super clean, fluffiest robes, comfy bed, plush towels and washcloths. Always a great stay!

We had to switch rooms at 11pm because our AC unit wasn’t working and the heat kept rising. We weren’t offered a free water/snack, like the other guest who checked in before us were. They had an automatic gratuity added to the bill in the restaurant, which wasn’t told to us until the second time we went, after we had already paid and given an extra 10% on top of the automatic 18% gratuity that’s added on to all checks. I was very disappointed with the stay.

I got the room here at the W in Hollywood for my 40th Birthday and the customer service and experience was incredible. They gave me complementary food and drink, upgraded my room, accommodated all of my guests for the party and even let us all experience the roof at sunset for a champagne toast. Definitely coming back. One of my favorite hotel experiences ever.

I have booked this hotel as it is managed by Marriott and I have better experience with them. From starting the room was good and spacious as I booked . But washroom shower was really bad. You can get better washroom shower in any budget hotel also. In room dining is very limited and first day I have ordered pancakes for my kids and raspberries has fungus on them I got lucky that we checked before giving to kids but how can 5 star property can send food without checking. Last day my wife found 4 spider in the room which is not acceptable. I have complained about it and they have reduced my valet charge . But not happy with the stay

Check in was at 4pm, we checked in at 5:30pm and neither the VIP/Superior room was available. We got downgraded for what we booked!

Wow, amazing. Unique design. Super clean and comfortable. Excellent service from every person. Turndown service every night that we didn’t ask for, but was so nice, with a little cleaning and tidying included. They’d leave little touches like a lens cloth beside glasses, arrange makeup nicely, and leave water and a little La Durée chocolate every night. Very impressed, and I’ve stayed at pretty much every hotel brand. But I unfortunately wouldn’t stay here again because Hollywood is disgusting.

Bed and pillows are super comfortable . Not too soft and not too firm. Well rested after a night of sleep. Parking is too expensive .

The property was comfortable the staff was nice. The only part I wasn’t too comfortable with was people hopping in the elevator who weren’t staying in the hotel to go up to the pool/events. As well as anyone really going in and out of the property felt a little unsafe on our last day we were followed by a woman to the elevator. Aside from this it was a good stay.

The hotel is modern. The room and the swimming pool are very nice We felt a bit unsafe in the area so we had to take taxi to move at night. The breakfast was very poor for how expensive it is.

The W was fantastic! Customer service was superb! I am so glad I chose this hotel for our trip. I would absolutely stay here again. The room was great & amenities suited our needs. Great place!

Beautiful spaces that have been recently refurbished. Staff were really friendly, informative and welcoming. It was incredibly expensive for a mediocre experience. The staff were great and the spaces were pretty but, you can’t help feel ripped off. For the larger more expensive room, there was no actual view out the window as the rooms face other buildings.

The vibe and ambience! Beautiful! Love the music! Well getting off of the elevator on the 3rd floor- I thought the curtains to the opening looked out of place. Such a gorgeous hotel and that piece looks cheap. Perhaps build a wall with a door for a better look. I think the space is used for hotel maintenance staff. No microwave. But everything else is fabulous.

They gave us a room with a very very loud noise. It was imposible to sleep.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was nice with good water pressure. We were gone all day until 5:30 when housekeeping showed up to clean the room. Pretty awkward and inconvenient. The $22 Club sandwich at the restaurant was inedible. They grilled the bread so long it almost broke a tooth on the first bite. The lighting and the switches for, we're very strange.
