Staff was absolutely rude and unfriendly. The room was huge and spacious and that was the only thing okay. The hotel doesn't has any other faciltites.

Bed bugs not really clean, everything feels sticky. I had leaved at 2am to sleep in my car because I was itchy to much, ac leaks water, now I have to see a doctor for bed bugs and they refuse a refund but I’m standing for this there’s several hundred’s of serious complaints and reviews

The bathroom had been refurbished and the mirror had a heating function so didnt steam up. The bed comfort level was ok The staff were rude on check in. Breakfast was an absolute disgrace. Pillows were too soft. I cant 100% guarantee but by process of elimination can say that i got eaten alive by bedbugs. After 4 nights, left with over 85 bites. Worst experience of my life!

Overall it was good, good location, but property was old , floors made noice, there were cracks. But for a one or two nights it was ok.

The free breakfast was the most budgeted we ever had, just sliced bread , butter and coffee. It is not a quiet setting because it’s a main road with emergency vehicles on siren and loud engine pipes , some homeless people by the entrance. The room was clean, newly renovated, the bathroom is user friendly. Linens and bedsheets were clean, Not a smart TV. AC window unit is quiet

Ac not working in one of the rooms and clerk tried arguing that we had to stay there since that was the room we booked. After 5 min of arguing he finally gave us another room

Weekend stay at Super 8 Hollywood was disappointing. Bad neighborhood feel, cramped narrow parking, unfriendly front desk behind glass, elevator with broken tiles, and an accessible room with a wobbly bed, hole in the bedspread, and chipped furniture. Plus the hotel charged an extra $200 to my card instead of a hold, and after checkout staff said the refund would take 10 plus days. Booked through Expedia for convenience, left wishing we had chosen elsewhere.

My stay is superb. The parking is great and easy lots of food and restaurant around. 3 floor of Target down the street.

The room was roomy and large, bed was huge, amenities was great. The main problem was the noise from outside after hours. All night long, all you hear is ambulances, cop cars, cars driving by, and the room above you constantly walking and moving something. If you're not a heavy sleeper, you will not sleep at all; it's too noisy. Other than that, it was cool.

The room was fine, no signs of bedbugs and such. Bathroom looked better than I expected for this type of hotel/motel. The staff weren’t as helpful or approachable as we expected hotel staff would be. Parking lot is a little small but bearable. It being free is a plus, compared to some that would charge extra for parking. They offer free continental breakfast which includes drinks (coffee, orange juice, and what looked like iced tea), toast and pre-packed pastry. Not bad - better than nothing, but most continental breakfast will include a little more options than that. It is located next to Walgreens and across the street from Target and Game Stop. There’s food trucks opened at night across the street at the parking lot. There’s also lots of food and dining options. It’s a short drive to Koreatown and only 2 short blocks from Thai Town. Driving along N. Western St close to the hotel will give you a view of the Hollywood sign but it’s not visible when at the motel since buildings in the area blocks the view.

Very close to Hollywood Boulevard and Thai Town. Comfortable and clean. A bit old, but overall good value for the price.

The parking lot is a little tight but no one messes with your vehicle they have cameras and they also monitor them all the time. I stayed here before when my children’s father passed and we stayed here again when their uncle passed. This will be my go to because of the location. It’s a great location and easy to get to attractions!

None WORST HOTEL EVER! They will take a deposit from your bank card and will take forever to return it! I’ve been waiting for almost two months now! Plus when you inform them that you’ll take legal actions against them for making it hard for you too get your deposit back, they will be extremely rude and impolite! Very unprofessional!

Staff was nice but the tv didn’t work or the lights behind the bed and the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. When I called the front desk no one answered the phone. So we weren’t able you use any of those things during our one night stay.

Proximity to places whee I needed to go. Parking spots were very narrow, almost cannot open doors to get in and out. Worse, hotel guests don't know how to park properly, However, can't complain much considering the hotel offers free parking.

It was fine. Good variety. The area was dodgy. An economicallydepressed area. Streets were not well-maintained. I felt safe on the property but not so much outside it. N. Hollywood was not what I expected.

The building is way too old, the neighbourhood was pretty dangerous but the worst was the mattress, we couldn't sleep there for a minute and had to change to a better hotel. Super8 has always had a pretty good standard but this was way below that bar.

Lamp and outlet on night stand didnt work, also when we arrived we had no shower curatin and there was a mess on the night stand, told front desk before we left for the night and they said they would let maintenance know and hoping everything would be fixed and cleaned when we returned late at night shower curtain was never replaced and mess was not cleaned.

The hardwood flooring was cracked dirty dust along the walls like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while dirty marks on walls and a lot of drug addicts in and out of lobby was kind of scared to be in that hotel. The pictures online looks so much better than the whole entire building. The outside of the building was in pretty bad shape too nothing like pictures online.

Honestly, you get what you pay for. If you need a cheap hotel for the weekend, this is it. The bed was very hard, it was like I was sleeping on a wooden plank.

The pictures are heavily edited. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures.we wanted to cancel and find another hotel but couldn’t so we ended up having to stay. Our first room was so bad.It smelled, the bedding had holes and the bathroom had a leak leaving a large puddle of water on the floor. We went down to the front and showed him the pictures on the website asking him where are the room in the pictures. He turn red and didn’t really know what to say. He did let us look at another room It was a bit better but still smell and there was holes in the floor. If we were able to afford to lose our three nights we would have left but we couldn’t so we went to target got some air freshen and made the best. Don’t go for the free breakfast because it was so hard to get them to restock the little things they had. Very limited too The elevator was broken and was told it would be fixed the next day. It was never fixed and I don’t think they ever plan to fixed it. Staff was hard to find and really not wanted to help. The pictures are heavily edited. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures.we wanted to cancel and find another hotel but couldn’t so we ended up having to stay. Our first room was so bad.It smelled, the bedding had holes and the bathroom had a leak leaving a large puddle of water on the floor. We went down to the front and showed him the pictures on the website asking him where are the room in the pictures. He turn red and didn’t really know what to say. He did let us look at another room It was a bit better but still smell and there was holes in the floor. If we were able to afford to lose our three nights we would have left but we couldn’t so we went to target got some air freshen and made the best. Don’t go for the free breakfast because it was so hard to get them to restock the little things they had. Very limited too The elevator was broken and was told it would be fixed the next day. It was never fixed and I don’t think they ever plan to fixed it. Staff was hard to find and really not wanted to help. Bed bugs found. They did change the room. Toilet clogged but was asked to waotv2 hours or move rooms again to change.

This is a very nasty place with rude customer service. I called in the office trying to let them know I was outside trying to find a parking spot because it’s a club connected to the hotel so the parking lot was over full so I didn’t even get the room I paid for plus it was none refundable. So I lost with no where to stay I ended up having to drive back to Las Vegas at 12:00 at night

The photos online are deceiving, its an old run down hotel where the elevator sounds like its about to break. Not to mention there is a night club on the first floor. The parking lot is full of the managers broken down cars. And i haven't got my deposit back. The continental breakfast was coffee and bread.

Whenever I stay at a Super 8, I look forward to the breakfast. Every Super 8 I stayed at had a waffle iron where you pour in the batter and make your own waffle. The Hollywood Super 8 had only two kinds of bread. No apples or oranges. The San Diego Super 8 is wonderful with two waffle irons, eggs and apples and/or oranges. Even liquid half and half for my coffee. The Hollywood Super 8 had only powdered creamers. Very disappointed.

The property was very dirty we were told that there was an elevator and when we got there the elevator was out of service and we had to walk to the second and third floor to get to our rooms and I just had knee surgery. The second day when trying to go up the staircase there was a pile of poop. Place was very dirty.

Lots of homeless people around the property kinda sketchy. Parking in the back youre not able to keep an eye on your car unless you walk overthere. Breakfast was only toast bread and juice not apealing at all. Otherwise everything else was good

Room needed dusting got allergies really bad. Music from down stairs club didn’t shut off till 2am and sounded as if it was next door. Horrible

The hotel had a nice location, near to everything we wanted to visit. What we did not like was that they did not make up the room and when we asked them to do, they only changed the towels in the bathroom but did not make up the bed.

Perfect location for the metro system to get anywhere!

The breakfast was good. The hotel was very old. There was a strange smell in the hallway. It was not very clean. Windows were dirty. Hotel needs renovating. I did not feel safe going to the vehicle at night. There was an “incident” in another room. EMS was called and the smell was horrendous. Would not stay again.

The room was falling apart. Shower head didn't work. Run down room. Comforter holes in it. Smells funny. A lot of noise all night. Ceiling falling apart. Gross stay ever.

When I arrived at the hotel it didn't look like the pictures. The front desk clerk didn't acknowledge me when i walked in because he was on his phone. It took him at least 5 minutes before he said something to me and while he was checking me in he was still on his phone. The room was stuffy. I moved the bed because I dropped something and there was a bunch of trash under the bed. It looks like the housekeeper swept everything under the bed and hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The hotel advertised free breakfast which was pastries toast coffee tea and juice. Not even a real continental breakfast. If it wasn't for the fact you gotta give a start I wouldn't have given any. Not a good place to stay at all.

The check in was easy. The parking is super convenient. We were also able to walk over to the Target and CVS easily right across the street. The room was just right.

I really enjoyed the location. I truly appreciate how handicap accessible this hotel is, it made staying here in a wheelchair very easy and stress free. The complimentary breakfast was great. Definitely plan on coming back! Worth every penny.

I didnt like anything about my stay. The photos on the website were from about 20 yrs ago. The place was filthy. Also the breakfast they said would be served consisted of juice and toast!!!

This was my second time staying at this property, but that last time was 15 years ago. It was newly renovated then, but now it looks a little run down. It's surrounded by newer buildings, but this place still feels like old Hollywood. Feels grimy, sketchy elevator, loud club/bar downstairs, but it is in the middle of everything. Beds are soft, shower had great water pressure, tons of towels, great for young inspiring college kids, but wouldn't recommend to business professionals.

If you’re looking for a clean bed to sleep in Los Angeles this room is walking distance to quite a few places. Beds are clean, no bugs windows are thin so you WILL hear everything outside. Clean towels daily if needed.

Well, it was a roof over my head...that's about it. The parking is terrible! The floor was soft in a lot of places. Elevator was very unstable. Do not recommend...unless you have no other option! Really felt like sleeping in my car to be honest. The little earthquake really didn't make me feel safe in this building!

The staff was friendly and courteous. The building is rundown and the room was filled with patchwork. The toilet was dirty, the air from the heater had a smell everytime it turned on, the carpet needs replacing because there’s a lingering cigarette smoke smell even though the room is a non smoking room. The walls are paper thin so every noise wakes you up during the night (doors closing, people coughing/sneezing, outside noise). The floors are also creaky so you hear all of this during the night when there’s movement. Overall the place is in dire need of repairs/upgrades and please I recommend that you don’t let the pictures deceive you. It looks far worse than that.

it is a place you would stay if you wanted a bed to sleep on. The rooms are small, lack of power points, small bathroom, tv not connected, not every room has a desk that you can use. I wouldn't stay there again, I would pay a little extra to get better facilities. One staff member was great, the rest were rude and you were interrupting their sleep time. Breakfast was continental which is fine, but you need better selections like milk that wasn't from a packet. One star.

Not recommended at all. Barely nothing in the breakfast. No microwave in the room, no drinking water or kettle in the room, even no tissue, only toilet paper. And the blanket makes me so itchy and I took shower 4 times!

You get what you pay for, quiet room, comfortable beds, could have used more power points and charging points. I enjoyed the interaction with the front desk staff.

It wasn’t a bad experience like I expected from other reviews but I do agree that the property could use a deep clean and updated amenities. The ice machine was broken and there was only one in the whole building. I found the room to be decent and the bed was comfortable

If you need to park be warned the parking lot may be suitable for motorcycles and scooters but any vehcile with 4 wheels is not able to maneuver the lot when full. Bath tub had a hole in it. Walls are super thin. And at least on Friday and Saturday night the nights we stayed there was loud thumping music from 11pm to 2 am from i assume the 1st floor bar. I would definitely pass on staying here again. much better options in the area at the same price

A little run down elevator was a bit scary my boys used the stairs most of the time. Was close to Hollywood Blvd right where we wanted to be. Homeless were all around but we never felt insafe

The location is good, close to a bus stop and the metro. However, I had an allergic reaction after the first night of staying. There is a cigarette hole in the bedsheet, and it was very noisy (probably due to other guests downstairs, but no one stopped it). A motorcycle was in the middle of the hallway. The door of the washroom is broken and poorly renovated. The breakfast consists of just bread, pastries, coffee, and juice.

My stay at Super 8 was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Here’s what went wrong: 1. No elevator access: We were assigned a room on the third floor, but the elevator wasn’t working. It was a nightmare with luggage and kids. 2. Broken bathtub: The bathtub in our room was broken, adding to the discomfort. 3. Safety issues: Homeless individuals were roaming in the breakfast area, making my family feel unsafe. 4. Subpar breakfast: The breakfast setup was laughable—plates were so tiny they couldn’t even fit a single slice of bread. 5. Rude staff: When I raised my concerns, the receptionist rudely told me to “check out if you don’t like it.” At 4 a.m., with a family, finding a new hotel wasn’t an option. 6. Dishonesty: When I contacted hotels.com for help, the receptionist outright lied, claiming everything was fine. 7. Disturbing noise: On Friday night, the bar next to the reception blasted music all night, disturbing guests. When I complained, the response was, “Sorry, you have to adjust.” This hotel is poorly managed, unsafe, and unprofessional. I strongly advise avoiding it at all costs.
