Convenient location; Centrally located to major tourist sites; Great parking right up to the room, in an area where parking is extremely difficult to find; Room had a fridge and microwave; a smoking room; A large shower with strong water pressure, powerful air conditioning. Neighbors at the hotel, both next door and upstairs, made so much noise at all hours; Doors slamming, loud conversations, pounding footsteps, loud music, and even some construction noise. For a seemingly quiet street off of a very busy one, the little street is noisy. The housekeeping staff come around too often and try to get in, despite being told that service was not needed; The bedding was not so clean and there were very few pillows, that also happen to be terrible and uncomfortable.

I didn’t even stay here for an hour. Hair everywhere. White stains everywhere. Disgusting. Had a total panic attack and had to leave immediately. Disgusting. Waste of money

Very clean. Perfect location. Free on site parking. Kind staff. Comfy mattress* *The metal spring box bed frame was louder than a rusty military metal cot,... just sitting on it, not even doing anything relational. Even just rolling over lightly while sleeping sounded like horrible metal on metal. The bed mattress was comfy.

They are running a SCAM! We booked through Expedia and when Expedia tried to contact them for a refund they agreed to issue because we needed to go home a day early unexpectedly, their phone number is blocked!! Expedia has issued their team to look into this thankfully. They also require your deposit to be given in cash! Make sure you record everything! We did thankfully so that has helped with proving we are right in what they said. We also recorded the room when we checked in and when we checked out, when we handed the deposit and all of check in. The kid at check in was so high and the office smelled like he had just lit up right inside! Big bummer because the inside of these are gorgeous and you wouldn’t know it based on the outside dump look. They need better staff to run it!

Conveniently only a 5 min walk to the Hollywood Palladium and restaurants/bars. There’s a liquor store just around the corner and a Denny’s. Stayed here before for a show and it was great. Parking. Clean room. Easy check in. Staff is friendly. Will definitely be my spot to stay for shows at the Palladium.

During my stay, I experienced what appears to be bed bug exposure, including multiple bites and signs on the bedding.

Beds had burns in the sheets, its smelled heavily of smoke in the room and especially the bathroom. Just one roll of toilet paper so it ran out pretty quickly. Parking was good, no problem finding a space would only say it’s a little bit of a sketchy area just because it’s more into an alley and not the street.

This place was dirty and unprofessional, there were cockroaches in the room and hair in the shower and the tv did not work. I tried communicating with the front desk person and she clearly didn’t understand or didnt care. Don’t stay here!

Location not too bad 1) After arrival I wanted to use my debit card for payment. The staff took my card and insisted on giving them my PIN number - this is the first thing your bank tells you never to give out. I said I would type the PIN number in myself, but the lady said the terminal won’t reach the desk physically where I was. I told her I would go into the office then only to type in my PIN which she said I cannot do. As for a solution she told me to rather cancel my booking on Booking.com by calling them on the phone, as she cannot even do the cancellation herself. Unbelievable to me, I have never experienced something like this before! 2) Room had a bad smell 3) Very noisy - there is a construction just next to the accommodation where workers start drilling early in the morning.

Near to tourist attractions Stayed 2 nights and we didn’t have the presence of cleaning staff in our room, not a nice feeling after we got back from an exhausting day.

The AC is very noisy. The room is smelling, dust due to construction site. Bed sheet is with dust.

You definitely get what you pay for. There was parking spots on a Saturday around 6pm so that was good. There’s almost never anyone in the office. The room was dusty the towels had hairs and you can hear everyone. Their sign said cash deposit but they didn’t ask me for one. Location was convenient it’s fine for a one night trip.

I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. I was surprised by the $200 cash-only deposit. The man at the desk said that it was in the listing, and he was correct-- if you actually click on the "hotel policies" link to find it. I only had $100, so I had to pay an exorbitant fee at their ATM in order to pay the $200. I was not very happy about that one. You had to dig to find it. The lighting is harsh, but adequate. There is currently major construction going on next door during the daytime. (3/15/26)

The room door opposite construction site, so the room is much of dust on bed, Sheet and carpet. Air conditioner is noisy. Spider is on wall. Not clean room. At 2 nd story, no elevator. Bad experience because I paid to hotel.com in advance in full, then I come there and was arranged such a room near construction site. I had no chance to cancel before the cancellation expiration. I reported to hotel.com virtual agent for changing the hotel or consider my special case. I hope for refund. I also talked to that hotel front desk and that guy agreed to charge me only 2 night s basing on actual usage. I hope hotel.com check again my bookings and refund back. The room of this hotel is not good as advertised on hotel.com website. Other hotels on hotel.com i stayed during this travel is better. Hope for improvement and consideration.

I’m not wealthy. The price is amazing through Expedia. If you’re fussy this isn’t for you. You need to spend a lot more. We were close to vegan places, pantages theater among others are a walk away. A short drive to💗 of WEHO,Beverly hills, DTLA, arts district. I’ll stay there again.

I’ve stayed here multiple times. Amazing value for the price. The rooms have a TV you can hook up to with an HDMI cable, microwave, and refrigerator. Walking distance to lots of venues.

Location to the Greek theater was nice. It was decorated nicely. There was mold all around the shower. Stingy with towels and toilet paper. There were dead roaches and live grub worms . We had 2 roaches and 5 grub worms.

For the value, this place is on point. If you dont look like a scum bag thats going to destroy your room and be loud and obnoxious, they probably wont charge a deposit.

The receptionist was so rude. Upon check in. He asked for everyone’s id including those who were not staying in the room. Then called us at 10 to figure out when we were leaving which clearly was at check out. He then went and scoped the room when we were still getting ready to leave.

2 BIG MAGGOTS in our room, door was broken molding & would lock but not shut all the way, when we complained about the MAGGOTS to get them out the lady told us to go away then walked away from us, we asked for a refund because of the MAGGOTS and she walked away again, rude customer service, crackheads always yelling outside, hung up the phone right away when I asked for a new room because I had a broken microwave, the guy management argues and yells with customers trying to fight, funny smells in some rooms, terrible experience overall

I was forced to pay a $200 CASH deposit. I had to leave the motel and go to an ATM to get cash, nothing else was acceptable. I was forced to read the house rules TWICE in front of the clerk. I was told I could have NO VISITORS or I would forfeit my $200 cash deposit. I was treated like a vagrant, not like a customer. This "business" is not worthy of an Expedia listing. They are a disgrace to the industry and should not have the privilege of being in business. Upon checkout the following morning, I tried to discuss the palpable combative, uncomfortable almost prison-like feeling I could sense from the establishment with the person who checked me in, hoping they might come to their senses; however I was met with indifference and the same cocky, unforgiving, could give a crap less attitude that was thrown upon me the night before. It was apparent to me that his family must own the motel, as his grossly unnecessarily poor attitude has been able to fester and mutate to the ridiculous diseased state it is presently in, without being checked by a reasonable person from the real world. In retrospect, one can only arrive at the pitiful conclusion that this "person" suffers from severe over-compensation issues, as result of coming up so "short" in every other facet of his existence. Mr. Bonaparte?

If you’re looking for an inexpensive place to sleep in LA it works. No frills, bed was creaky, a little run down overall. Also require a $200 deposit in cash for incidentals. The staff was nice.

Our room was simple but clean and comfortable. There was free parking and we were a 20 minute walk from Grauman’s Chinese Theatre. It’s near a busy street but you’re LA. Overall a good inexpensive option.

The carpet was not clean there was dust around the furniture. The beds sheets were stained and the pillows were durty. The bath room was not too durty but the door make ugly noise and the bathroom fan. The air conditioning system was durty it needs a filter change or cleaning. Also I couldn't pay with my card I had to look for cash, their system was not working. The out side of the building was also durty the walls, stairsand side walks need a power wash. I am really sorry but this place needs some deep cleaning.

This is not a pleasant place to stay. Not a clean place - there were gaps between every floorboard in my room, all full of detritus. Asides from the ceiling, which was painted with sky/ clouds(the only nice thing about the place), the walls were all scuffed up. They seem to have tried to repair/ paint over some of these, but with a completely different color paint. There is peeling paint and floorboards were peeling too. They called me before check out time asking why I hadn’t checked out yet. I had prepaid my room, but I’ve never seen somebody scrutinize my ID to make sure it matches my credit card so hard. The good: You will stay dry if it is raining outside.

They seem to have tried to repair/ paint over some of these, but with a completely different color paint. There is peeling paint and floorboards were peeling too. They called me before check out time asking why I hadn’t checked out yet. I had prepaid my room, but I’ve never seen somebody scrutinize my ID to make sure it matches my credit card so hard. The good: You will stay dry if it is raining outside.

Worst hotel. Pictures look nice but rooms are really dirty. Beds make a lot of noise. Guy at the front has eyes on you all the time watching every move you make. I wouldn’t doubt if he has cameras in the room.

The check in was bobinden the window not friendly at all the room wasn’t clean.the sheets were dirty and had cigarette burn holes. Bathroom not that clean and not enough soap shampoo no hair dryer. TV didn’t work. Noisy motorcycles in the parking were loud noises .

My only issue was that I called to let them know I was going to be a late check in and they said they couldn’t hold the room because hotels.com does not pay them upfront. Luckily my sister lives in the area and was able to go and check in for us. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

When arriving was informed we could have no visitors and deposit was done only in cash. The room had dirty spots on the walls and Sheetrock chipping off of wall. No hot water and was overall unsafe at times due to the homeless people

This hotel makes you feel so insecure, I prefered not to stay, it is expensive for the conditions of the hotel, I paid almost the same for another brand hotel just a few miles away.

It’s great for what you pay for! House keeping came in and replenished towels and made beds when we didn’t even ask. Staff was friendly!

Place is run down, looks nothing like the nice photos in the website, it looks MUCH more worn down, no breakfast, beds are uneven and uncomfortable, AC barely worked, parking is limited, no other significant amenities

There were cockroaches on the walls and dead all over the walkway carpets. There were hairs under the unwashed sheets. The walls are stained and they refused my refund because i moved the sheet to find the hairs under them. The person working there is deceptive he will try and trick you don't give them your money you won't stay!

The bed was barely put together and made SO much noise. The folks working there were also not pleasant in the least.

Really nice clean hotel, best shower ever , comfortable bed. good value for money. Neighborhood was only down side but wasn’t too bad.

Picture are deceptive very run down. Staff not very friendly. Shower only got luke warm. Construction next door woke us at 7:00 am. Dead bolt on door didn’t lock, didn’t feel safe.

If you’re looking to get some rest stay somewhere else. Stayed for 2 nights and it was super loud. Room and walls looked like they were falling apart. Wouldn’t recommend

The location was great to the Pantages Theater, however what I paid was not what I got. The towels were dirty. There’s a lot of homeless people around, there’s a lot of outside noise and the person above our room kept walking around. I’m assuming the walls are very thin since we heard everything that was going on. I decided to checkout earlier and go home to get some rest. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Perfect location in Hollywood, easy access, friendly stuff, clean room, comfortable beds, good internet.

This spot is Tucktaway in a nice quiet, unassuming spot in the heart of Hollywood and is a hidden gem. Parking on site, walking distance from major venues and 24 hour on site service. My only concern was a squeaky bed which may have been an aluminum bedframe, but other than that everything was fantastic!

I booked this and received a call from the manager the day I was supposed to check in asking if I can be there before 6pm (I live in another state) I said I would be there before 9pm. He said their card machine was not working and the room and deposit had to be in cash. When I got there at 8pm they told me they were over booked and did not have a room for me. The hotel looked in bad condition from outside as well and they only had room for one car. Probably better that I didn’t actually end up staying there because I was lucky to get a better room for cheaper last minute but the fact that I spoke to them several times before I got there and booked the room in advance just to be told I didn’t have a room when I got there is horrible service.

It was very close to the hollywood palladium. The carpets were super dirty, it felt like you wanted to wear shoes when you were inside.

It was filthy. had blood or something on the walls. leftover food in the microwave.

Honestly never stayed at the hotel because when me and my partner arrived we were treated rudely by staff and were immediately told to read a list of rules left of the office on a wall… like a list of 10 or so rules ( never stated anywhere on Hotels.com or in their advertisements) .. being that we’re here to see friends of course we’re gonna have guests but there’s a NO GUESTS policy in the rules. So with the lack of respect that we received as a greeting along w the “RULES,,” we chose to spend our money elsewhere! Holiday inn express North was a delight! Highly recommend that establishment!

I found the ambush policy--not clearly written--needing not just $200 for a deposit in person; but IN CASH. Only posted on glassed in office. Brusk defensive management; indifferent customer service--as IF I WERE THE WRONG ONE. Luckily able to adapt--but very rude awakening after traveling from NYC to LA; getting smacked with this CASH ONLY --policy. Room was fair; carpet/floor "unfinished" and lumpy. Bed and room itself clean. Door need better locking. At least got back the $200 cash back in check out--"cheerfully". Stayed as planned one night--had visited 2015 and friendly--different mgmt apparently-and in renovation room/service better than as is now. Sad and disappointing. Had high hopes as it was convenient to my original plans/that location. Highly recommend breakfast/coffee across the street at Emerson College West buildings ground floor cafe!

The rooms are modern but dirty. If they do a good clean, it will be the perfect place to stay in Hollywood.

Room was comfortable and well laid out. Powerful (but noisy) air con. Very good location but it was pretty noisy. Not much provided in the way of toiletries. Parts of the room could do deep with a deep clean.

The manager is very rude and unprofessional. Also their front desk staff no lack of communication. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there.

Clean and comfortable room within walking distance of the Palladium or Pantages. Restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well. Area looks a little sketchy but it's safe. I would stay again.

DO NOT STAY HERE. It was gross, there are missing floor panels. Most of all the Manager of the propert was incredibly rude. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere it’s not worth it.

Location location location. Walking distance to great music venues in the heart of Hollywood. A bit run-down but the room was clean and the bedding was clean and comfortable.

Felt the need to wipe everything down before touching anything, room just did not look clean. Carpet, doors and decorative pillows were visible dirty.

Nice new & clean bathroom. Carpet was moist, and floor was somehow squishy - dont take your shoes off. Outdated cloud painted ceiling. Beds were hard and the comforter smelled like ass. Parking was a plus, but park at your own risk - had to park behind a dumpster at the furthest area from our room. Pretty sketchy at night.
