The pool was so toxic people were running out the doors, Red eyes, choking and throwing up. Hot water took about 4-5 mins to warm up. Food was left in fridge, no free breakfast. No conditioner in container in bathroom. Bathroom hardware was loose.

The breakfast was excellent and the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. The mattresses were not up to par for a Hilton Garden Inn. Thin and cheap. The room appeared to be in transition (upgrade).

Walking into the lobby was pleasant and immediately made me feel like I was on vacation. The entire building was clean and inviting. My room was spacious and comfortable, the fitness center had mats provided and enough room for me to practice yoga even with other people using the equipment, the pool was small but pleasant, the hot tub was clean and big enough for strangers to comfortably share. I had a lovely evening sitting by the fire outside and a very pleasant morning sitting downstairs drinking my coffee and working on my laptop. The staff were all quite friendly and hospitable and went out of their way to ensure I had a pleasant stay, going into the kitchen to get us extra cutlery and plates for our take-out even after the restaurant was closed. They normally refresh rooms every other day, but when I asked to have housekeeping come by and tidy up for me on a specific day they did so without hesitation and my room looked very inviting when I got back from a long day. Overall a very enjoyable stay. I do not appreciate the nickel-and-dime business model, like putting water bottles in my room for a dollar each and telling me they could have been free if I were a platinum member. Same thing with wifi, "you might be charged if you don't sign up," and trying to tempt me to pay to upgrade my member status by throttling the wifi speed for "basic" or "silver-tier" guests. Breakfast was good enough but absolutely not worth the extra $15 they charge for it. Complimentary coffee was adequate but unremakrable, and they didn't have any real half & half, just a bunch of flavored tear-offs and pump-jugs of artificial creamer like a gas station. In fact that whole section of the hotel was reminiscent of a truck stop, full of overpriced drinks and bags of chips. Coming back to my room and seeing those two up-charge water bottles just felt insulting. So here's my message for the upper-level management of Hilton Garden Inn: how about I keep my two dollars, and I'll tell you where you can shove your 20 cents worth of bottled water.

I liked the pool and the gym. For the price you have to pay, you would think that breakfast would be free. The beds aren’t comfortable.

The staff, room and hotel are very nice, but there are cars racing back and forth on the road right outside every Friday and Saturday night. So jarring and loud it was impossible to sleep until around 2am when is started to die down a bit. We really needed to sleep and it was incredibly frustrating. I’ll never stay in this area again.

The only thing was the pillow was too soft. However, my husband loved the pillow.

My one comment is that there was noone at the checkin desk when I arrived and the app advised that I needed help from them to complete my checkin. Luckily I figured things out but having a sign welcoming guests, rather than a person, was a disappointing and inconvenient experience. I arrived at around 7:30 PM so it was not a late, late night arrival. Every other aspect of my stay was extremely positive, and hte young lady who on staff at checkout was friendly, professional and did an excellent job.

There were only shear curtains so we were awoken at sunrise every day. Also check out is at noon and we were planning to check out at that time. The hotel was very nice. Staff was great. Rooms were very clean and smelled great. Bed was super comfortable, and best of all my service dog was welcome. They literally had everything we needed in one place. Would definitely stay again!!

The refrigerator did not work in my room. The ice maker didn't work til my second day. Breakfast was too expensive, eggs cold, not enough choices. They had condensation dripping from the ceiling over where people ate. Could not access the pool from the outside deck. Staff was pleasant. Would not recommend staying there again.

The room was awesome! The staff made the stay amazing! We had French toast for breakfast. Absolutely delicious food!! The service getting breakfast was something that got me. The staff explained how their breakfast service work so thoroughly that I didn’t have any form of struggle understanding what to do!! Loved the stay thank you!!

Decent place, small room, friendly staff and nice pool with amenities. It was very loud all night due to the motorcycles and cars driving around up the hill from the hotel. Overall I expected more from a Hilton Hotel, but if needed we would consider staying again.

The hotel personnel were super friendly! They were all excellent….we got into a conversation with the woman who was in charge of breakfast and she was amazing! She mentioned how much she LOVED her job which is so nice to hear this day and age.

Hotel was clean and had a modern vibe. Beautiful entry with a fireplace. Pool and hot tub was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. The one negative was the breakfast buffet. It was absolutely horrible. Not worth the 15 dollars a person i paid for 4 people. Food was cold and did not taste good. Even the yogurt was spoiled. I do not recommend the breakfast. Go to chick fila down the black.

Nice hotel! Very clean! Loved the bar and restaurant option-even though we did not use it. Very close to multiple restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. We had the king suite so it was nice having a living room area. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Came for a cheer competition, was so pleased to be able to check in early! Loved the snack/beverage area. Will definitely return if in the area again!

There is a small faded decal on the bottom of the bathroom mirror that says they DO NOT service the room except every other day. No one warns you about this at checkin or online. I am happy to reuse a towel and sleep more than one night on the same sheets.. after all i do that at home. However, Hilton is NOT saving the planet.. they are just greedily saving money. This has nothing to do with conservation. They should still empty the trash and make the bed and vacuum if necessary and supply a refill on morning coffee.., daily. The staff cleaned the room either side of us but because we stayed two nights they ignored us. I will be staying at their competitor hotels in future.

I decided to pay for a more expensive hotel and unfortunately the room was subpar with lower price hotels. I was hoping for more. We had a flying bug in the room and bugs are always a bad thing. In addition, we did not have a working TV in our room. The tv said “no connection”. The fact that this hotel is on the high end and yet there was nothing included. No breakfast or beverages. I guess that my expectations were higher with the Hilton name.

The only thing i didnt like was the mattress the room was great the facility was great, the people were great, i just found the mattress uncomfortable

We recently stayed at Hilton GI for a soccer tournament and the staff was so accommodating and the facility was very clean. Breakfast was great, pool was fun for soccer team (don’t plan to relax there) and gym facilities were nice. The bar area was also stocked with a lot of options. I would definitely stay there again if given the opportunity

The property looked very clean and the room was clean as well. I had requested a quiet room before checking in and unfortunately noise from above and near the elevator made it loud in the middle of the night. The front desk employees were friendly. A little concerning was the parking lot out front. It was easy to park and convenient to the front doors. There was a person who was parked out front who appeared to be living out of their car. I did feel a little unsafe about that. It's a good hotel that just needs a little tightening up.

I had accidentally booked for friday night instead of saturday night. I contacted orbitz shortly after to see if i could change the reservation. They called the hotel and and came back and said it was ok, but there was a $10 fee to change it. I agreed. When i got to the hotel they didn't have sny record of it and said i didnt show, so was charged and i had to pay for a second night

The hotel was great overall. We chose it because we weren't going to have access to our car for a day and knew it had dinner and breakfast available. The dinner menu was a little sparse and expensive for the quality of the food, but the breakfast buffet was great. I was also very happy to be able to use the hot tub after a day long drive. That might have been the highlight of the trip.

On a recent trip from Savannah to Greenville, we stayed in 3 hotels, this one was the last night of our trip and it was THE Best! We loved the beautiful lobby, the room was immaculate, staff was super friendly and the price was competitive with our other two hotels on the trip. My sister is looking to relocate in Hickory and will be back in the area with her husband. They'll be staying here for sure!
