    I booked a non-smoking room, but the room smelled strongly of humidity and cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, the bath towels smelled exactly the same, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The television channel selection was extremely limited, and most of the available channels were in Spanish, leaving very few viewing options. I was also concerned to see elevator violation notices dated October 2025, and the elevator certificates of operation appeared to have expired in July 2025. The hotel advertises complimentary toiletries, but guests are apparently expected to retrieve them themselves, as they would not be brought to the room when requested. The biggest issue was the lack of hot water. There was no hot water for two days on and off due to a maintenance problem. This was never disclosed before check-in. I only learned about it after noticing a maintenance notice posted near the elevators after I had already checked in. Overall, this was my first and definitely my last stay at this property. Between the odor issues, lack of hot water, limited amenities, and maintenance concerns, I cannot recommend staying here. I booked my hotel stay through Expedia. I called Expedia to help me with my stay and they called the hotel 3x and no one answered. Ridiculous!

    Our stay at the Holiday Inn was very disappointing. The water was cold throughout our stay, and, more concerning, someone entered our room using their key card. This made us feel unsafe and negatively affected our experience.

    I really enjoyed that the staff made my anniversary special by putting rose petals and wine in the room. The Staff always came daily to clean. Room was spacious Ice Machine didn't work on our floor and no microwave in room like advertised.

    I reserved a BALCONY room (very intentionally wanted only that room), but my flight from was delayed until the early morning hours so I had to drive about 11 hours to make sure my family didn't miss our cruise because of continued delays by Frontier. I called my hotel before I drove and told them I would be around 5am checking in. They not only gave my reserved room away to someone else by the time I got there, but they actually charged me extra for a regular studio room... Thanks... NEVER AGAIN.

    The rooms were not well maintained, and several items were either broken or not properly cleaned. For example, the air vents had visible water-damage stains, the room had a patio which the door handle was barely attached, and the door had to be secured using a latch. The closet mirror door was off track and the main entry door was off its track as well, requiring you to force it shut when leaving or staying in for the night. We requested to move to another room and the staff was great and was happy to help move us, but the alternative rooms appeared just as outdated as the first. The only reason we chose to stay was the hotel’s convenient location near the doctor’s office we needed to visit.

    The room was not what I expected. The bathroom tub was dirty, the carpet looks ugly, the room smell bad and the coffee marker didn't work. I reserved a room for three people including breakfast. When we got there, they said the breakfast was included for only 2 people, I went to help desk, and they said they can't add the 3rd party because the reservation was made thru Expedia. We were very disappointed. My first time there and it was my last time.

    I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Miami West on Tuesday night, checking out the following morning. While I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, I was very disappointed with the condition of the property. The room was uncomfortably hot, the bathroom was not clean, and the TV was inoperable. On top of that, the elevator was out of service on checkout day, forcing us to climb down ten flights of stairs, which was very frustrating. I hope management takes these issues seriously to ensure future guests have a better experience.

    I was on the 10th floor with a balcony view the air conditioning on the 10th floor was not properly working. They had to move us into a room without a balcony that was a bit smaller. The staff made the trip amazing. They were super friendly, helpful and tried to fix the issue with what resources available to them.

    When I first entered, it had a funny smell. Then the employee didn't look well groomed even though he was nice. Check in was quick and then I went upstairs on the elevator to the 10th floor. The hallway had a smell and so did the room. It was an unclean smell. Not fresh. Smelled like dirt and paint. When I entered the room again I noticed the smell first, then the stained soda, opened curtains the patio windows were dirty, the patio floor was dirty with dirt, the table wasn't wiped good it had a stain on it, the place where the toilet tissue hung had dust on it. It was horrible there. I couldn't stay there so I went back downstairs and told the employee the room was unclean and he offered to give me another room but I didn't want to stay there. I had to sleep in my rental car until the next day to find me somewhere else to stay.

    Rooms need a face lift bathroom upgrade , breakfast need more varietyand need to be free for all the costumers, need a coffe station on the loby 24/7 and water and juice dispencer machine , the big restaurant need to be use for lunch and dinner as well, will benefit if it is rented to a restaurant franchise,staff need a litle training specialy costumer service , in general upgrade the Hotel.

    Hotel is a bit old but well maintained. There is a restaurant on premises which came in very handy and they serve until 11 for those coming in late. The bed was very comfortable and check in/out was easy. I would stay here again.

    Between choosing not to go with the added insurance, and finalizing payment, the date changed to two weeks later. I reached out to Expedia for help as this was not my choice. I reached out to HI. Neither would adjust the date. All I needed was for them to place the date as March 10th. I will never work with Expedia or Holiday In ever again. A simple adjustment to make it all OK, and you wanna be greedy for a couple hundred dollars? Karma delivers!

    2 weeks later, still no refund has been reflected. I checked in near midnight after a late flight into Miami. I only booked this hotel as it had laundry facilities available. However, the machines only take quarters, but the front desk could not provide any change to use them, nor did they sell any laundry detergent at the front desk (gift shop was closed by the time I checked in). I was told that the shop would open at 2pm, which would be after check out time, which wasn't helpful. When I chexked out at noon, I found the gift shop was in fact open, so the staff the night before was not even accurate with their own operating hours. I had to leave the property in the middle of the night to get change and detergent, which defeated the purpose of finding a property with facilities to utilize. In the hour between checking in and discovering that the hotel had nothing to help me utilize the laundry facilities, someone scraped the side of my car (parked near the entrance door). We asked the front desk to check the cameras to see what happened, they said we'd have to wait until the morning to ask the manager. The whole stay was frustrating & disappointing. Never again

    There was nothing in the property to like and the staff are the most unprofessional people I have ever interacted with The property is the worst one I have ever experienced, There was no hot water for more then 48 hours and cause of it we had to checkout a day earlier and the hotel said they will refund the whole amount however now they are not ready to refund.

    From the time we checked in and we were informed that the issue would be fixed by next day. The next day, after we spent the day at the beach, upon returning to the hotel, once again we found out that there was no hot water (and it was cold, 16 C). When we asked for a refund or to be transferred to another hotel, the staff told us that this couldn’t be done and it was my responsibility to check with Expedia what could be done. It took me hours to talk to Expedia and after escalating the situation to a supervisor, I received a $200 refund to spend the night in another hotel. I had to pay out of my pocket extra $130 to spend the night at another hotel. Next day, returning the Holiday Inn, once again there was no hot water! I had to spend hours talking to an Expedia agent to get a total refund for my stay, find myself another hotel for the remaining 5 days of my trip and pay for it out of my pocket! The refund I got from Holiday Inn was $1230.00 and I spent $1730,00 for another stay at Hampton Inn. To sum it up, I’m having a financial loss of $600,00 caused by the property that did not provide the service that I paid for in advance!

    The next day, Monday, around 1–2 PM, there was still no hot water. I went downstairs to ask about the situation and was then told that it would not be fixed until Tuesday morning. Since we had booked a two-night stay through Expedia, the hotel initially offered only a 20% discount for the first night or complimentary breakfast for two days. I explained that this was unacceptable. By the following morning, there was still no hot water. When I went downstairs again, I was told the issue still would not be resolved until the next day, but they were now offering 50% off the stay. I asked if, instead of the partial refund, they could apply the discount and extend our stay since my flight was not leaving until Tuesday night. After multiple back-and-forth conversations, Expedia had to call the hotel several times. I even went downstairs to ensure the staff answered.     Very busy hotel long line to check in no matter the time of day. There was no hotel to the entire building they didn’t know when it would be fixed. The tv says it has all these apps but nothing worked kept saying network error had maintenance come up to fix it he didn’t speak English then I showed him in the tv he just looked at said uno minute and left and never came back. Elevator seems like it’s about break down down. Staff was kind and was refunding people for the hot water issue but then you have to find another hotel and there wasn’t much left available that wasn’t astronomical in price. Walls are paper thin. Could hear the neighbor peeing. One good thing was the bed was comfortable. There is no heat so if it’s a chillier evening it gets cold. There was a fridge if you need a microwave you can ask for one nor sure if it costs or not we didn’t even ask for one. There’s a phone in the room but it doesn’t work it’s not plugged in to anything so if you need something you go down to the front desk. They have a parking garage and parking free but it’s hard to find a spot sometimes it’s busy. Didn’t try breakfast.

The shuttle to the airport seemed very unreliable after speaking with the front desk and being told she was not sure if the shuttle would be ready in time. We canceled our shuttle ( with full refund) and just took an uber.

    The shuttle never showed up. We had to get an uber to make it to our ship. We didn’t have any hot water. A breaker blew in our room, so our lights in the bathroom didn’t work and therefore, we didn’t have a working thermostat in our room. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

    It took nearly an hour to get someone at the front desk to actually answer the phone so we could get the shuttle. Wait staff in the restaurant (which had very few customers) were too occupied in conversations with each other to provide table service and when the server did come her attitude was unfriendly. The room itself was nothing more than a place to sleep before our cruise. But really, it was barely acceptable. Stained carpet. Thin dingy towels. Drab overall.

    2. 3x up and down elevators w malfunctioning keycard and lock (no..not near my phn) 3. Charged me two tens and a five for cruise port shuttle but listed as comp 4. 45 min wait in restaurant 5. specifically booked for shuttle and laundry facility in between 2 trips. No quarters, no soap, and GM doesnt give 2 shxxx about changing that according to other staff. Had to WALK to gas station for those items. Supervisor Jordi was very polite but only able to comp a cocktail and luke warm tasteless buffet bkfst. Def wont return though my impression is that he personally did all he could and quite apologetic. Ifl felt badly for him. What a mess. NOT Holiday Inn quality. Hotel was very clean.

    The rooms were filthy. Dirty carpet. The bottom of the curtains had burn marks and there were burn marks on the carpet. A cockroach scattered across the bathroom floor when we arrived. One clerk was abrupt and seemed bothered by our presence at check-in. The lighting in the restaurant was almost non-existent - we had to use our phone flashlight to read the menu. One of the two washing machines was out of service in the laundry room and the staff was unhelpful when we needed change to use the machines. We arrived ahead of the check-in time and the front desk staff said she would contact us when our room was ready. We never heard from her and had to approach the desk twice to ask about our room.

    Front desk staff never called to let me know the room was ready but I noticed they were letting walk-in guests pay their deposit and get room keys. After 2 and half hours of witnessing this I went back to the desk and asked again then I was assigned a room. There was no mention of the breakfast times, shuttle time to the airport or the onsite gift shop or evening hours of the on site restaurant. Very unprofessional staff.

    They overcharge my card four times by $400 for deposit they did not have any heat. They told me that they will be bringing a heater just to say they don’t have heaters also told me they was gonna give me some of my money back far as giving us a comp for breakfast. We never received that customer service was disgusting. We literally froze our whole stay went trying to get extra money. They gave us a hard time.     The staff was lacking and the customer service was not great. The hotel was full and my room balcony door would not close all the way bringing in the cold weather to my room I went to the desk 2 times to ask for Maintanence to come the staff assured me they would arrive and they never did leaving me and my friend freezing all night because the heat was just going out of the room. I was compensated for this either. The 10th floor carpet in the room was disgusting and the bathroom had hair in the shower as if it was not properly cleaned. The desk in the room had some type of glue hardened on top of it. They were the only hotel not booked from the flight cancellations otherwise I would have went elsewhere

    The staff were overwhelmed, one of the two computers was down, & I asked them to call me a Taxi three times so I could get to the train station. Twice they did not and by the time the cab came,I was so delayed that I missed my train. And I had to spend $250 on a car rental and driving 5 1/2 hours very disappointed. Also, they don’t have tap to pay in the restaurant, but at least the room rooms were clean.

    Pool was filthy and covered with algae. Locks on doors didn’t work. Changed rooms twice. Doors didn’t close tightly so could see light through the door jams. Very slow service at the front desk. Worst Holiday Inn we have ever stayed at and we have stayed at many. No refund or discount offered. Please save your money and don’t stay here.     At check-in, reimbursement was refused due to booking through Expedia. “Comped” breakfast had already been prepaid, only one drink was provided for two guests, and we were told to contact Expedia. The room was nice sized and sheets were clean, the carpet and walls were stained, lamp was ripped, bathroom some updated but shower, tub, tiles and around the toilet were so stained and gross, the vent where the air came out of smelt like stale water and milk mixed, just with the photos and everything else this was not what we expected.

    The hotel smelled awful. The carpet was nasty. The staff that checked us in was not personable. The bathroom tile had black mold. You can tell they don’t do thorough cleaning. From now on Hilton or Marriott only. I will book directly with the hotel. Don’t let the pictures fool you. Never again.

    The shower was a big disappointment. The showerhead is fixed to the wall at about 4'. It makes it very difficult to shower the upper half of your body/head if you're over 4' tall. Breakfast was good. It would be nice if your restaurant/bar opened a little earlier and had signage that is consistent. OOpening at 5 or 5:30

    The first key the courtesy desk gave us didn't work The ice machine on our floor was broken. There was no continental breakfast., just a restaurant downstairs that charged you for the continental breakfast The room was freezing during the day yet burning hot at night. So bring a sweater. But the bed was comfortable, and the staff was nice and helpful.

    Amazing stay overall! Everything was spectacular. The hotel was perfect, with very spacious suites that were extremely clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was great, and the bar and food were delicious — everything we tried was very good. The only downside was that the AC in our suite did not cool very well. We set it to 65°F but did not feel much difference. Fortunately, the night was very cool, so we were comfortable and did not have any issues sleeping. Aside from that small detail, everything else was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

    From i walked in there on Thursday, the lady on the desked was very unprofessional. There were 2 set of guest before me trying to check in and the lady left the counter for what apparent reason for some 15 minutes and leave us all without saying nothing. I was like we need some assistance out here and a big bright guy came out and started to look for the lady. Four nights that i shopped me and my sisters had to strain with so many luggage because there weren't any trolleys and i aske for it the bright guy siad that it was beyond his control (Terrible management) i was very much inconvenient. If i had to do that again it will be a no. The best thing about my stay there was the nice gentleman that worked this morning. He was very helpful.

    Rate was to high… the rate was very very high. We were walking at night and we got there at like 1 o’clock in the morning and it still charges $270 and come on where is the compassion. I know it’s a business but people are always should be treated like you want them to return again and spend money with it not because they have to because they want to. Two there was water on the floor put in through the little young guy was a little bit like a young whippersnapper he was very like short with his answers not very helpful.

    The staff is great, that is the reason for my star. The gore is out dated really I must say “shame on Hilton” maintenance is needed in all the bath rooms which are all very old and moldy, tv doesn’t have options for Netflix so horrible of your traveling with kids also no microwave in the rooms but if you ask for one they will bring it up , unfortunately I don’t like asking more than twice for things to be done and I had to ask for almost five times and it still was not sent up. I stayed there for two weeks and couldn’t wait to leave. I hope the owner realizes that he has a gem in his hands and puts some time love and effort to this hotel.

    Worst hotel experience ever. There were additional fees not advised on the Expedia site even though my reservation said all fees included. The staff were not pleasant or helpful and acted as if they were being bothered. My room looked old with stains on the carpet and the bathroom was dirty with an old tub. Maintenance had to be called to check the tv. The elevator had issues and customer service checking out was nonexistent. I would not recommend using this hotel.

    The cleaning staff in the hallway refused to give us towels and was stern about us requesting towels by calling down stairs but we waited over an hour to get clean towels and soap. The breakfast was great and there’s even a bar but the bar is not open during the day.only during dinner at 5:30 pm and in the morning but closes at 10:30 am . Our TV did not work for the entire 3days and once we were about to checkout the tv magically connect to the network and turned on.

    Well for one the ice machine the only had one on the second floor and the whole week we were there it did not work. The pool area was not very well maintained even you can still swim in it it was not well kept. One side of our window area at the bottom of the curtains look like the curtains had never been cleaned or never been changed they were stained a very yellowish beige color.

    The hotel was convenient when it came to shopping and dining. Hotel need to change carpet it’s terrible and smells, inside the rooms need temperature to be corrected it was totally hot at nights and cleaners need to remember to provide towels after cleaning.     I liked leaving. It was the worst experience ever I have stayed at motels with better quality and service. The room was absolutely flithy. The rugs have never been cleaned. The entire facility was filthy from the front dest to the elevators. I was switched rooms and the second room was no better. The woman at the desk looked bewildered with my concerns and seemed annoyed and upset. She hastly offered a refund and deactivated my room key before I could gather my family and belongings.     Elevators not working, just horrible all around

    Hotel staff does not enjoy interacting with the public. They do as little as possible. Three elevators in the hotel and only one was working. We waited 35 minutes to be able to go from the 9th floor to the lobby before we took the stairs with all of our luggage. There was what appeared to be a blood stain on the mattress cover under the fitted sheet on one of the queen beds. It looked like there was a leak that was apparently covered up in the ceiling above the shower and there was black mold under the caulking on the shower. You could hear every noise possible between walls and up and down the halls.

    The stay was good but city side room was extremely noisy at night. Breakfast was very decent ; could have had more variety. Room having a fridge but no microwave seemed like an odd combination

    My room specifically; carpet dirty: blood stains & vomit. Cleners do not change sheets, 2 roaches, fridge off. Tub scary condition, rusty shower head, tub looked dirty but tub was missing pieces. (Cracked) the rest of the hotel looked clean & nice. A/C amazing, Cafe convenient. Staff friendly food amazing Salmon was great, apps delicious.

    The room was very outdated, carpet old and dirty, bathtub old and rusted. No change of bedsheets, I Stayed 4 nights. Bad smell in the room. I asked for another room, which was not possible

    This property did not A/C on several of their rooms. While it 100 outside in the room I was in it is 80 degrees. There never a manager on duty after 7pm. The staff does not care to resolve the issue just shuffle you from room to room in hopes you won’t come back to front desk. The person that helped was the manager on property who arrive at front desk at 9pm. I won’t recommend this holiday inn to no one and hope they stay away if they want to have a pleasant stay.

    Property was very dirty, we switched rooms we found feces on the toilet The room was hot the Ac is not working properly the service is bad we kept asking for towels and we got them 5 hours later plus we got stuck in the elevator worst experience ever

    Problems with room key, cleanliness, old carpet, dirty carpet, noise levels. Not worth the price and they charged my room 3 times due to the conditions in which the bathroom was. I don’t think they clean at all. Requested housekeeping services and they left the exact same dirty sheets on. Never again!
