Everything about the room, location, hotel staff and amenities were fine. The airport shuttle is the most convenient of all that I saw, every 30 minutes 24/7. My sole complaint was the shuttle driver's attitude when he dropped us off. There were one too many passengers than seats, so a grandson had to sit on a lap. The passengers loaded and unloaded MOST of the luggage. Then out of all the passengers, he looked at me and complained that he didn't get a tip.

Room service was a disaster. Line fast busy constantly. Front desk had to tell them to call me. My room was really far from the front door and tge front desk didn't tell me there were two sets of elevators. I went up the wrong one at first.

If you can't put drinking water in the rooms and unable to bring one to you even at a charge late in the night then you should not be in the hotel business. I have been to $50 hotels with better amenities and customer service. For a hotel right at the airport and unable to provide services 24/7 including drinking water is just not acceptable and down right shameful. Wrong people incthe wring business.

I was not given correct information more than once. The front desk agent claimed there was no manager on duty until 3pm. I went to breakfast and ran into THE MANAGER ON DUTY! This was very upsetting. He fixed all issues.

Location Staff was rude. We waited in the lobby to recieve some packages. When the courier arrived we were made to pay a charge to the hotel even though we recieved the packages ourselves. Covered parking at the property was nice to have. Shuttle pick up was a long wait (45min). Even though you are told it is every 20 -30 mins.

I did not have breakfast I asked for a receipt at checkout and again via email on 3 separate occasions and never received it from the hotel. I was referred to booking.com who was also unhelpful.

Coffe cups were not provided willingly they had to be asked for even though there were coffee pots on all the tables. Maybe people had been stealing them? Other than that my biggest complaint was the Complimentary airport shuttle service... I asked a direct question, " if I want to be at the airport at 5:30 am what time do I need to be ready and waiting for a shuttle?" My answer was an exasperated" the shuttles run every half hour 24/7" which is a lie because if you want a shuttle between midnight and 6 am you have to request it specifically... Next my girlfriend was returning to the hotel after saying goodbye to me at the gate.... Every half hour turned into a solid hour and a half .. she saw a shuttle after a hour 6:37 am and tried to board so she could return to the hotel... She was told she couldn't board because he had to go get gas but another shuttle would be there in five minutes.... 45 minutes later another shuttle showed up and picked her up at 7:48... This shuttle service is unorganized, undependable, and rude. Between that and the lack of a microwave in the room my stay was not worth the price I was charged... Granted it was clean and the bed was comfortable but service leaves a more lasting memory and feeling

TV did not work and the phone USB charging plug didn’t work for the bed on the right. Room was otherwise fine. When I checked out I shared the issue with TV and the phone charger. The front desk clerk never looked me in the eye or asked how my stay was just said he would tell maintenance about the room.

The shuttle to airport/metro was very convenient. There was a 7/11 close by. The restaurant Hoolihans made it easy to have breakfast, lunch and dinner if you don't want to leave the property.

While the beds and pillows are great and the buffet breakfast is good, the hotel is tired and the prices on Expedia are over inflated for what you get.

The hotel is in a good location. The hotel is clean, bed comfortable. When i got checked in, no upgrade was offered; no bottles of water given, no offer of free breakfast. I was asked in a review about each of those things. I was not aware they were an option. The attached restaurant was better than i could have hoped. The soups were the best I've ever had. The breakfast bar was excellent. The staff were very nice at the restaurant.

The hotel rooms are outdated, and the A/C unit is very load. The temperature seemed to be either too hot or too cold.

Like many hotels, there was a slight musty odor in places. Our room was clean except for one area on the tv console that had some orange goop on it. Parking was plentiful,free, and easy. Temperature controls were good, the TV was fine, and the Bathroom area was lovely. There was a good amount of storage and hangers for clothes. I liked the soap/shampoo/conditioner supplies. We didn’t try the bar/restaurant but looking at the menu it looked reasonably priced with a good amount of choices. There was an honor system for snacks and drinks in the lobby, and there was good variety for many tastes. The neighborhood felt very safe, and there was a Wendy’s and Taco Bell right next-door and they stay open late if you arrive late like we did.

Waited 45 minutes to get a shuttle from the airport. Two shuttles drove by us and when they finally picked us up, the driver told us he was instructed to only pick up the airline crew and no one else. Really!!!! When we checked in, no apology, nothing! Terrible!

My wife and I chose Crowne Plaza for a one night stay so we could be close by to Dulles Airport as we were departing very early the next morning on our honeymoon trip. We could not have selected a better place for this 1 night stay. We enjoyed the hot tub together with no one there other than just the two of us. Everything about our room was wonderful.

Hotel staff was decent. Restaraunt hours were good. Local area was sketchy. I was approached by two teens that threatened me in the parking lot. I told the front desk and they said they would handle it but security never increased. Close to the interstate which was nice but the local area was not the safest.

The wallpaper upstairs is a bit trippy, the elevator could use a tune up, and having to use the room key to go up and down was a new one for me, but those in no way ruined an otherwise great stay.

This is an old property that has been remodeled. It’s one of those jobs where you can still tell. It’s an old hotel. I don’t know how you really correct that. The room is very large. The bathroom is nice and everything is basically new. But it still looks like a very old hotel. Not sure what they’re doing with the Crowne Plaza franchise with IHG.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! We had a very nice room. Shuttle took us promptly to the airport at the correct time. Really like the convenience of being able to park there until till we come back.

Basic hotel in need of some TLC. Double beds in room were of different firmness, a few broken/ outdated/dusty items but the service was very good. Our tv was broken but was replaced within 10 minutes of us letting them know. Food was subpar. Overall a good stop through spot with essentials and no frills.

I really enjoyed staying at the Crowne Plaza. It was very affordable super clean, copy pillows across the street. Tons of places to eat get coffee nice restaurant inside the hotel easy check and overall really really love staying here and will stay here again.

Don't plan on taking a bath unless you bring your own soap, because the only soap provided is in dispensers at head height in the shower/tub. (And I found the rough surface in the tub painful to scoot across in adjusting position.)

Crowne plaza was taking bookings when they were out of rooms. 20-30 people showed up with no rooms but bookings through expedia or other services. Avoid.

Accommodations were good not anything over the top. Hotel rooms are a little worn and outdated. Common areas are nice - mostly meeting rooms. Attached restaurant was good and convenient for breakfast and dinner/drinks. Easily accessible from the Dulles toll road with plenty of other restaurants nearby.
