Best Western Plus Las Vegas South Henderson

The front counter staff are all very nice and helpful. The hotel is an older hotel, but it's upgraded and is in decent enough shape. My room was clean. It is a modern room but with an older a/c unit. I didn't get the best sleep because the a/c unit rattles and the motor goes off and on. The bathroom was very clean and they give you little soaps and toiletries, which is so nice, since I forgot to bring my bar of soap. The breakfast is very minimal but I mean it's decent. Over all I would stay again.

We had a maintenance issue that was handled quickly and efficiently by the Director of Maintenance. Absolutely nicest guy you could meet. We always stay here when we travel to Vegas and highly recommend this property!

Staff was great! The cost for the pet is not factored into the expedia.com quote. They will add a per day fee to your total amount at the hotel. Carpet in the room if filthy, probably never cleaned. Bed is comfortable. Tub height is way to high very difficult to climb out of plus the shower has green lime in the shower head. Water pressure is great though, room is nice and cold. Breakfast is ok. Coffee was phenomenal out of the little machine in the dinning area.

The rolm was spacious and had everything we could need. Breakfast was really good and my kids enjoyed it.

Staff was very friendly, I also liked the "water stations", having a swimming pool with jacuzzi and a fitness room. You got everything we needed. Unfortunately I had to ask for help to open the swimming pool gates, both card-readers didn't work. Even the employee had issues with her card. But after she opened it I enjoyed the pool. I think it will be an easy and quick fix, a 1 time only issue.

My expectations for a new (for me) hotel are always tempered. I’ve been really disappointed in the past by highly rated hotels. I REALLY like this hotel. It will be my “go-to” when visiting Henderson/LV South from now on!

Closest to the surgery center we needed and was very pleased.

The front desk was nice. Overly Powerful cleaning smell in the lobby and halls, like they were trying to cover up something. The pool doors wouldn’t open so we had to get someone, the pool was very dirty. Several things weren’t working with the breakfast (coffee machine, yogurt machine, etc.). You can hear the next room clearly, which was inconvenient.

The view from our room was excellent, the breakfast was better than expected and overall was a great experience. The toilet plugged the 1st night, the elevator smells weird and the breakfast potatoes were never cooked right in all 3 mornings. But those were pretty minor complaints.

The only thing that stood out as a bit odd—and honestly a little concerning—was the window setup in my room. I was on the second floor with a nice view, which I appreciated, but the windows opened fully and didn’t have any screens or safety barriers. It felt unusual, especially from a safety standpoint, since there was nothing preventing someone from leaning too far out or even falling. It’s probably not something most people would notice right away, but once I did, it felt a bit unsettling. Aside from that, everything else was solid and aligned with what I expected for my stay.

The property was average. The bathtub had some rust. The bathroom floor griut was cracked and had some missing. The carpet didn't seem clean.

property is a little ways away from everything and not the easiest to access. the staff was nice, room was clean. but staying on the first floor i could hear every footstep above me, not to mention every time someone came out the stairwell door or used the side entrance.

Henderson is a great location. Close to Las Vegas but far enough to be quiet at night. The Best Western Plus South Henderson is very comfortable and the staff are so helpful. My family of 4 and I had an amazing time Everything was great no complaints whatsoever

Our room was very nice and clean. Even though it was near the elevator it was quiet. The only sound we heard was some rumbling from large semi trucks when they arrived. The bed was comfortable. Nothing I did not like.

It's a lovely location in Henderson. It provides good access to Henderson and the south end of Las Vegas. I needed to travel to the California border for work and it was a good distance, < 1 hr drive.

Check and and check out went very smooth, they have a small dog area if you have pets with plenty of poop bags. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the extremely cold fridge. Will stay here again

Value for money, clean, good beds and sanitair. Asked for silent room, got 4th floor 2Queen, so far so good, however a room exactly under the rooftop airco generator, so whole night lot of noise and booming noise. In general I don’t like the dog-fee as business model. ($25,- a day not per stay.)

The location We reserved an early check in through the hotel itself, it was approved. We were in town for my Uncle’s funeral, when we arrived the receptionist was rude, no empathy and just kept saying we were at capacity and cannot honor an early check in. Also the floor in our bathroom had loose tile and a lightbulb was burnt out.

There was a basketball team from New Zealand and they made noise all night until 1:00 2:00 in the morning all throughout the weekend there were slamming the doors kicking the doors overuse of the pool and the jacuzzi there were just a young out of control bunch I think that it should have just been a disclaimer on the website and also as we were checking in the staff should have maybe notified us of the young basketball team that was staying because it was not quite it was loud and they were out of control and they just ran around the hotel and it was not quiet at all.

Whatever they are using for cleaning the room or air freshner needs to be diluted about 10 times more. The room reeked of it. I opened the window and turned on the ventilator fan and went to dinner. Still "over the top" smelly. I had to clean/wipe down items when I got to my destination as that odor clubg to everything!

Friendly staff, comfortable room and nice hot breakfast options. This hotel was located close to the Encompass Rehab hospital where my father was staying, so enjoyed the short five minute walk over there instead of needing a car rental during this trip.

You can hear absolutely everything in the room: neighbors' conversations and laughter, creaking doors, the TV, footsteps upstairs. The bathroom is tired—the water doesn't drain completely, the shower curtain keeps falling off, it's dark, and there's no exhaust fan. The price for a room like this is at least double.

They need sound-proofing - it's loud as you try to sleep. You hear every sound there is as you try to sleep. We have stayed in many hotels - as you try to sleep there's a lot of noise. Not our favorite. They should try harder. We thought Best Western Plus would be much better. We were disappointed.

The sheets were visibly soiled. The white doors were obviously never cleaned, they were dirty. The balcony door blinds leave a 2 inch gap you could watch someone sleeping in there. The carpets were visibly soiled. The chair in the living room area was broken. The following morning housekeeping left my door unsecured and open when I returned from training. When I returned that night at 12:30am the balcony door was unsecured and open. They moved me to another room, but the door latch lock was broke n. I did NOT feel safe at this hotel and checked out the following morning. They refunded my stay but that’s not the point. I should feel safe when at my room. Housekeeping should NEVER leave a guests room unsecured and the door open. Idk how the balcony door was open…I never unlocked it. Not once. Terrifying stay and my PTSD was VERY triggered. I was a wreck the whole training as my safety and security had been compromised by negligent housekeeping.

We enjoyed our stay overall. The room was clean. There was just an unpleasant smell in the room. It was there as soon as we entered the first time. Could it be the cleaning solutions that the housekeeping staff uses? The smell stayed during our entire stay. What we should have done is ask to change rooms. We were visiting family who live nearby, so the hotel's location was convenient. And the room was quiet. There were plenty of parking plus it was free. As far as breakfast, the sausage patty was good, the eggs weren't. We've had better breakfast at other Best Westerns. So, we didn't eat the breakfast on our second day.

Dont be fool of the review here, I had a high expectation for this place knowing its Best Western but I was so suprised when I come out the elevator the smell of the hallway was so bad but didn't realize until I get to our room the smell of the room so bad, so sticky , we ask if we could change the room but they said they all book out and they will just put some machine to take the smell away but didnt do nothing at all, We dotn have a choice but deal with the smell, Crack a dawn start to packing cant wait to get out that place...

We always stay here, however, this time our room bathroom were really dirty - dirt and blood splatters (yes blood) in the tub. Gross. I told the front desk in the morning. We got back late in the evening and our room and bathroom was not cleaned. Unacceptable.

We enjoyed our room very much, a suite with a balcony was great. One little thing could be improved, the air conditioner in the bedroom was very loud.

Hotel was next to a restaurant, Kopper Keg, and since we arrived late in the day, we appreciated having a dining option so close by, plus the food was good. The hotel offered a very nice breakfast daily. Staff was friendly.

One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It was well stocked and offered a wide variety of options—everything from hot items to lighter fare. The food was fresh, and there was more than enough to satisfy any morning appetite. It made starting each day easy and enjoyable. Overall, my stay was comfortable and convenient. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant place to stay in the Henderson or Las Vegas area.

Very easy check-in process. The room was clean, spacious and safe. Having a refrigerator and microwave was a plus. Having convenient, free parking was an even bigger plus. I couldn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but there were many options available. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.

We’ve stayed at many Best Westerns but this was awful! Our room was dirty, bathroom tub looked like it had vomit in it, breakfast food was limited and there never enough towels in the bathroom. VERY disappointed- will never stay there again.

Love the room and the fact that it has a jacuzzi tub. Perfect for a special trip. Stayed here a few times and best prices too. The breakfast is decent and nice option if you want it. Otherwise lots of places to dine at within driving distance. Didn’t use the amenities. Only used the room and did activities in town.

Property is conveniently located. Room is clean and functional. Shower is a bit dated but works well. Breakfast was on par with competition.

It was a pleasant stay for 3 nights and 1 Fiery night. Room was clean, however, I walked barefooted on the room carpets and in no time, the bottom of my feet were dirty. I think the carpets are in need of cleaning and shampoo. Front desk checkin and breakfast were excellent. About the Fire-ey night, everyone at the hotel had to evacuate at 1am due to the fire alarm going off. Five fire trucks and multiple Police showed up. We walked down the stairs and waited in the parking lot. We were awaiting any notification from the front desk on what was happening, but no announcement came. After an hour, the Fire department gave word that it was safe to go back in. Found out that it was an Air conditioner on the second floor was malfunctioning giving off a burning smell, that's what we heard anyways from the Police.

Overall the hotel is great - amazing breakfast and front desk staff was so nice and tried to help but during a heatwave 108degrees the a/c in my room was blowing coolish - like warm air so I essentially woke up sweating with headache which made the following day (the reason I came) quite difficult. I have terrible sinuses so if the weather is scorching cold a/c is crucial for me. The next morning I brought it to the attention of the front again, another kind lady at reception came up herself to try to manually reset it and it worked for about 15 minutes then started blowing warmish air again. At that point seemed really pointless to switch rooms bc I didn't want to be 'that' needy nagging customer since it wasn't really insisted upon. I do feel that paying $140 for midnight check-in and check-out 12 hours later, working A/C in Las Vegas should be a reasonable expectation and accomodation so there is that. I stopped at reception after checkout to discuss it again but there was unfortunately a bathroom break sign so I waited for 10-12 minutes and then just took off bc I had to go. I try to be fair in my reviews in this case most everything was great unfortunately the #1 most important element (that being a/c) was totally unacceptable.

It was very nice. But I was bummed at breakfast. It was either no bananas or over ripe bananas. The red delicious apples most people don’t like them. But over all nice hotel and staff

The room was clean and was more modern than other hotels.

Rooms are clean and staff is friendly and helpful. We were on the 4th floor and wnjoyed our stay. Kids enjoyed the pool area.

Breafast to go bag was convinant but I didnt like that the pool was not open. I was hoping to take a quick swim before bed.

Air conditioner in our room - 203 did not work at all - hot or cold.

Stayed for a two day scrapbook event. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room.

The pool was closed due to work on the fence. I had specifically looked for a hotel with a pool, so was disappointed. With temperatures approaching 100 degrees, you would think work could have been scheduled during the winter. All other aspects of the stay were excellent.

The room and breakfast were nice. We were disappointed that the pool was closed. The bright flashing smoke detector above the bed made it hard to sleep.
