Old motel check-in area has a very musty odor. It almost made me not check in. The room also had a bit of a musty smell. There was a squeak when getting into the bed from the innerspring mattress, I think. Spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere else.

Decent enough to get some sleep and a shower. Nothing special, basic motel style setup. Sheets & towels were not changed in the 2 days I was there even though I saw the staff working the rooms.

Though the breakfast offerings were a little light, the property and rooms were spotless. The clerk was both efficient and friendly. We were traveling on motorcycles and a storm was expected in the area that night. He offered us a sheltered parking area to keep our bikes out of the weather. Dunkin' nearby as well.

We stopped here for the night while driving a large trailer for work. They had room, a good price & ample parking for our awkward vehicle. The room was clean & the stay came with breakfast. This is definitely a motel setting, so the doors open to the outside. That didn't bother us as our stay was quiet, but if it were busier it might feel kind of exposed.

It was kinda cheap. Emphasis on the kinda part. The staff was very kind. The breakfast was good. It was dirty. Floors were slimy, the property was ran down overall. You could tell it was done in a hurry.

Very first day of our stay we were locked out of our room and key didn’t work. They attempted to unlock but even the master key didn’t work. Had to wait for maintenance the next morning at 11. Breakfast poor quality. Bright lights right outside the room at night. Bed quality was ok at best but everytime you’d flip over at night the base of bed would make a very loud noise. Would not stay here again.

The $290 room rate was excessive because James Madison University graduation. The room wasn’t worth it. The lobby smelled overwhelmingly of moth balls

Very pricey for the condition it is in. The shower never got hot and had no pressure. It is a very basic “motel” and old. They have tried to fix it up but you can see the rust underneath.

This was a motel not a hotel. There was a continental breakfast including coffee, bagels, and fruit. The room and the main lobby had a strong odor that was sill on my clothes when we returned. We tried to switch out our rooms with the "sister" hotel next door, but they wouldn't allow it. If you have elderly people staying, the odor might bother them.

Front desk was very nice, the room was a bit outdated, but our beds were comfortable for our needs for the one night we were there. My only complaint was metal steps leading us to the 2nd floor, whenever anyone used them we could hear it a few times during the night. Even if someone walked up them slowly, the noise could still be heard in our room, so that woke me up a few times. The area was convenient to food, gas, and especially COFFEE!!! I would stay here again, but not near the steps.

Check in was super quick. Breakfast was great. My grandkids especially loved the waffles. You have to walk to the hotel in front for breakfast. The bed was really comfortable!! I would stay here again!!

The only drawback to this affordable motel was the fact you had to walk to the neighboring motel to get breakfast. Otherwise, this motel was clean, affordable and close to the highways and restaurants

I didnt have breakfast but he said it was ok. The beds made noises Everytime rolled over. The hairdryer didn't work at all. The heater ran continuously and got too hot in there. Turned it down to 63 and still ran. You have to give a ,50 dollar fee when u get there and told you will get it back. Before leaving I asked when and was told 3 to 5 days.

The property was quite clean and the rooms were nice. I enjoyed the lighting options as well. The doors were a bit obnoxious (difficult to open/close)

The staff was pleasant and the room was clean I had a cold shower. In spite of turning the water as far towards hot as possible and letting it run for a long time, the water temperature was still very cold. There were two chairs in the room that were very low. Even the supposedly adjustable desk chair didn't work. I'm a short person and the chairs were too low for me. A taller person would have been extremely uncomfortable in them. The room phone did not work. The people in the room next to me partied until 2am, then all I heard was snoring. Parking was very bad. You couldn't park at your door. Although I didn't need them, I didn't see any handicap parking spaces and there was only one accessible cut in the sidewalk, closer to another motel that shared the same parking lot. I asked where the handicap spots were and the desk clerk vaguely waved to a couple areas, nowhere near the lobby. I selected this motel because breakfast was included. It was, but in the other motel on that lot. When I told the clerk about my cold shower, he informed me that he'd had a warm shower that morning.

Our room was next to the dumpster so there was an odor outside the room. The bed was big and comfortable but the bathroom was tiny, including the shower. Not bad for an overnight stay because it was very close to I81 with plenty of places to eat in close proximity. It was however loud in the morning from trucks and traffic.

The room was so dirty. I showed pictures to the front desk and management and they offered no help at all. The floors were sticky and not swept, the sheets had hair and fuzz all over them, the bathroom sink and bathtub had stuff all over them, not wiped out at all. I emailed photos to the property manager as well and they have done NOTHING.

All went well except the fact that Travelocity never contacted me back after eight or nine phone calls on Thursday evening to try and update my payment method since your website was inoperable. When I got to the hotel to check in, they had no idea of my reservation or itinerary number.

Our first room was glitchy and had no working air conditioner. The second room we were placed in was also glitchy, had a leaking air conditioner, and a live cockroach on the floor.

Well I guess you get what you pay for. This old run down motel was apparently purchased by Ramada and they tried to put lipstick on a pig. Dirty common areas, trash bins are disgusting and clearly haven’t been cleaned in years. No coffe maker, ice bucket or iron/ironing board in room. Shower faucet in my unit broken (still functional. Poor lighting in room. Supposedly free breakfast in morning but nothing out at 7:15am on a Sunday. AC cycles on only every hour or so, so the room gets uncomfortably hot, then uncomfortably cold. When I thought it was broken, I will say the front desk attendant came right over, but by then it had cycled on again of course. Go figure. There are two other properties right next door to this one. I can only assume they were better. Lesson learned.

The front desk said only the king bed room has a sofe bed but this still only sleeps 4. I asked how did your hotel allow me to book for 5 people knowing it doesn't sleep 5 people. He said he could look for a roll away bed. So we got an old, squeaky metal, thin mattress bed. The breakfast wasn't in th whorel but next door in another hotel. We opted for Dunkin Donuts. We won't stay here again. We booked the Sleep Inn for our trip home. 110% better, bigger with tje entrance in the building not outside for a better price.

I strongly encourage EVERYONE to avoid this hotel. It has bed bugs. We notice them in the middle of the night and left as soon as we could the next AM.

This location is not family friendly at all. I was informed that the have a contract with a local chicken farm. So the most room contracted labors for the farm. The farm guest were drinking and littering every where including in the pool area with glass bottles. My wife and kids did not feel safe.

When checking in I had issues, the woman checking me keep telling me my card wouldn't work. I called my bank they said no problem on my end. After 20 m8ns of going through this with my bank and the woman on the desk. She finally said to me oh the expiration date on the card used to hold the room qas different from the obe I was using. She didn't see this the 15 times we tried using my card.

We arrived on Friday night and there seemed to be a gathering of people around the truck selling food plates out of a pickup truck. Saturday the same people were located on four corners of the hotel and chairs appearing to be a hall monitor for a lack of better terms . I think the people live there and not just traveling. Someone was attending to the four corners of the hotel at all times. I just don't know if everything was illegal activity. We did not get any type of room service, when we were gone all day Saturday our trash was not taken out our beds were not made and we had no clean towels. We walked to the office to get clean towels on Saturday night. The front desk clerks were not very attentive and didn't seem to care that nothing had been done in the room during the day on saturday. It’s just eh. No inside corridor rooms: I’m pretty sure this was a red roof inn or something like it. Ok for just one night for a place to sleep while on our Bucees trip.

The room was under construction! A repair had been made but cabinet doors were missing, and microwave was not replaced. There was no chair to sit on. Lighting was poor, room was bare, air conditioning could barely cool the room. No housekeeping ever came to make the bed or change the towels and they roll their laundry carts around loudly waking us up in the morning. I will say the bed was comfortable, sheets were clean as was the bathroom. The room was clean; the staff was friendly so if you just need a place to crash and want to save some money, this is fine.

The pool was nice. The rest of it was just barely adequate. I stayed half the night in one room until 2am then was moved to another since the smoke detector was beeping low battery and no one was available to fix it. The second room was much better that the first room with everything working properly. I paid for a cheap place to stay so I guess I got what I paid for.

This was the Best place that I’ve stayed at so far! The People are more friendly and nice then anywhere Ive been . Vey Clean and Comfortable. The Pool is Amazing ! The Staff and Manager were So Awesome! Loved It !!!

I could not stay there because it felt unsafe (people walking by could look into the room unless the single blackout curtain was drawn) and had a creepy vibe. The bathroom was a joke with a walk in shower with only a curtain (no glass door) right next to the toilet. I was told the room had a brand new mattress, but there was no way I was going to stay there, so I left, even thought the room was prepaid.

Trip to Philly from North Carolina. We stay overnight in Harrisonburg when we travel north. The hotel is right off the highway. It was late, so we had to check in next door. We had 2 rooms. The front desk was closed so we could not make a complaint. We informed the staff at checkout and showed them a picture. We also complained to corporate office but have not heard back from them. The checkin person at night was very friendly and cordial.

Room was clean and large enough; however, the light above the sink was very dim and hard to put makeup on without opening up the drapes at the window. Need to install light above the sink and that will make a world of difference in my ratings.

Renovations were cheap and incomplete. Duplex covers were missing, poor lighting and extreme traffic noise. Will not return.

The outside area needs better upkeep. The inside of the room had water damage on the ceiling. The bathroom needed some updates and caulking.

Stayed in a King Bed room and it was spacious and clean. The shower stood out the most to me. It had great pressure and different shower head settings. Very relaxing.

Staff was courteous and accommodating, and the mattress and linens very nice. However, the building was dated and the mattress laid upon a noisy flimsy coily steel stand, which was not appropriate for such a nice mattress.

First, the room reeked of an unbearable smell that made it difficult to even sit inside, let alone sleep. The walls were concrete and poorly painted, giving the space a cold, prison-like feel. Basic amenities were either missing or unacceptable—there was no fresh toilet paper, and the smoke detector was off the wall and sitting on top of the fridge, which is a major safety concern. The shelving in the room was nothing more than cheap utility shelves, and the bathtub was dirty and clearly not cleaned. Worst of all, I found bodily fluids on the floor, which was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable for any hotel. Additionally, the bed was not the queen-sized bed I had booked, but rather a smaller full-size bed. I contacted the staff to address these issues, and while they assured me someone would follow up, no one did until I pushed repeatedly. Although I eventually received a refund, the lack of professionalism and the state of the room were unacceptable. If you’re considering staying here, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. This experience was nothing short of a nightmare.

The person who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful. However, the sleeping area in the room was overly deodorized. Turns out, that was to cover up the stink in the bathroom. The bathroom smelled like it had been "cleaned" with a rotten washrag. And the toilet seat was STICKY! Unfortunately, this was something I found out by sitting on the seat. I told myself it was from the dirty washrag, but who knows. There was a sketchy stain in the corner of the shower and the shower faucet was not attached to the wall. Breakfast, which is offered at the Microtel next door, was unspeakably grim. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We had roaches crawling in the walls and near the bathroom. They could not offer us a discount since I prepaid using Expedia travel. Am requesting I discount. Also frustrated that while I was charged for the room on Oct 6, I see R Room charges from Ramada on my PNC account today. Overall a terrible hotel experience. Breakfast was also very limited.

Couldn’t check in on time. Charged $20.00 extra because I had my dog. Not disclosed on Expedia! Charged a “Security Deposit “ due to dog and won’t get the refund back for 5 days! TV didn’t work. 5 roaches and other bugs were seen in the room. HVAC was very loud. Very noisy location with Tractor-Trailer trucks shifting gears to on-ramp. Overall bad experience!! Would never recommend to anyone

Brief visit to attend Band Day at JMU. Good location just off I-81 and a short walk to a Cracker Barrel. Motel personnel friendly and helpful and room comfortable.

We cancelled our stay before the cancellation policy and have yet to receive a refund

This property is old and had a cheap face lift. Bathroom door was broke, horrible tile work throughout. For the money I should have stayed elsewhere. I would not recommend this property unless you are in a pinch.
