The vent in the bathroom was basically not working all when it's on.

Breakfast offerings were a little skimpy, but at this price level I assume it was commensurate!

The pool was closed. The bathroom ceiling was falling down & actually fell on me, while in the shower. Fell out of tub. Wasn’t offered new room or anything.

They can do better. Breakfast was barely adequate and very low budget. Bed sheets had a stain. Phone charging at night is limited to only one side of bed, so not convenient for a couple in bed.

You can hear the traffic on the highway.

The room was beautiful and clean. The towels were shaped like a pair of swans, which was adorable. The staff was friendly and amazing. I would heartily recommend this hotel. 10/10 stars

We choose this hotel when we visit Harrisonburg based on their price & availability of an EV charger. It works perfectly for us & is close enough to downtown and the wide array of restaurants, etc. that we keep coming back. Great choice.

This was a very nice well maintained property. The employees were nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was excellent and the free breakfast was full of choice and fresh. The hotel is located just off I 81 and is easily accessed,. I would stay here again. No issues, all good.

Very nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a suite to keep us all on the same floor. Room was very clean. Beds were not very comfortable unfortunately.

We booked here when our original booking turned out to be a dump. Last minute, same day, another hours ride and better price. What a relief! Clean, quiet, roomy, friendly, breakfast. Thank you!

We stayed here last year, so knew it would be fine. It was a quick overnight on a longer trip. Power went out in the building for a few hours in the middle of the night. I have a medical device which could not be used without power. When I mentioned to reception, I got an "oh well".

But if you upset them because they've done something to you then they retaliate by keeping your deposit and making up false pictures therefore they keep your deposit money this company the room was already dirty and nasty when I got into the room I explained that to them when I got there but nobody came to fix it I had to deal with it for the three days I was there but I cleaned it myself because I couldn't deal in that field and then they try to tell me that those pictures which is not even my dog's color of hair is mine and there's a burnt cigarette thing in the window and I don't even smoke so it's a lie they lie so they can keep your money this company is nothing but a racketeering lion company that robs people I will never deal with them again whatsoever

Stay with you because of location. All you need in an overnight stay, most in walking distance. It's our half way stop between NY and SC many trips to and forth. Thanks Only when you don't have biscuit and gravy do we frown ?. Lol much appreciated the breakfast is.

Booked a 5 night stay. First room we were put in was infested with hundreds of ants. We told the manager about it and she said it was impossible to do a refund because we booked through a third party site. So we were put in another room. Second room, same story only worse. Ants were in the mini fridge, microwave, on the tv screen as we were watching a movie, the bed, the toilet, the shower, and now all in our luggage. You name it, they were there. We were done at this point, and went back to the lobby. The lady down there said that it was our fault that there’s an infestation in the room because we ate breakfast up there once. It’s worth it to mention these rooms were on the third and fourth floors. You don’t get an ant infestation that high up unless you’re willfully negligent to an issue on the first floor.

Bathroom tiles were cracked and grout missing, sink was cracked, room extremely small. Needed updating.

This property is located in a parking lot that has a Hilton and Ramada in it as well as a Cracker Barrel. It’s a convenient location to access James Madison University. However, the location is not scenic or extraordinary by any means. Your rooms are usually facing a concrete jungle. It served its purpose while we were there for one night.

Our room had a roach in it and the room had a terrible smell. For the price of this hotel I expect it to be clean and nice but I was seriously disappointed. Also there is not enough parking for all the guests so you have to park in the other hotels lot and hope it’s not an issue and then walk over to the Microtel. I would not stay here again.

No staff around to tell them stay quiet at 2am. Staff setting up breakfast before 6am was loud which was against our room wall. The one time i was able to ask for a better room i was told to check later which i could not. We also had a roach in our room.

Lots of parking, the lobby was great and clean. So it wasn't a bad place, just little things, like fixing the paint where the trim paint was bumped against the wall, or putting in the floor tiles that need cut to fit against the toilet. Stuff that you live with and fix as a homeowner, that you would think would be done at a hotel. Again, little stuff, but overall the area was quiet, so you could sleep.

The property looks nice on the outside but the carpet was quite old in the room. It's a little strange how there's a nice window seat but then a stain in the middle. The was a hair on the towel and one in the bed.

One of the tiles in the bathroom was lose and caused it to smell wet.

Room was nice and clean, I just didn’t like the shower head in bathroom it must of been for handicapped, it was detachable. Very close to Buc-ee’s which was nice, and has a pool too which is a plus.

I request a refund. I still haven’t received after elevator breaks down had to walk multiply floor to get in the room and now I’m seeing roaches.

I loved this hotel. The bed was sooooooo comfortable. The room was fairly spacious. The property was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was average. Too many carbs for those on low carb diets,but the coffee was fresh. We came to shop at the new Buc-ees and we will be returning to shop again. This hotel will definitely be our first choice when in the area. Highly recommended.

The people above us were noisy. It sounded like they were jump roping from 10 pm to 11 pm.

The hotel was fine overall, but the lobby had a stronger perfumy smell. The room was typical, but it just did not smell fresh and clean. It smelled like the carpets had gotten damp and not fully dried and aired out. The staff were nice.

First they gave me a room and someone was in the room when I walked in. Second room same thing. The third room had no towels. Not clean. Horrible place

The hotel is in a convenient location. Close to I81. There is a shared pool which was nice. The room we had was 103, a handicapped accessible room. The room was large and so was the bathroom. However, the shower head was clipped to the wall at waist level and the shower head attachment that holds the shower head up for use as a regular shower was broken, and had been for a while as it was rusty. This made the water shoot straight out into the bathroom! We made due the first morning and I fashioned a ziptie to hold it up in place for the second morning. We did inform Julie at the front desk when checking out and she said she would have the maintenance people check into it. The carpet was soaked outside the bathroom door when we checked in and I'm guessing that's why. Otherwise, the room was clean. Bed was soft, and we rolled to the middle. The price was good, but I'm not sure if we will stay there again. We come here one to 2 times per year for events at the fairgrounds which is very close. Breakfast was eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, donuts, oj, pancakes, yogurt, apples. Clean and plentiful.

Me and my family had a one night great stay with the exception on the shower water pressure. The pressure was so forceful that it hurts your body. Other than that it was a great stay.

We stay in this area a lot. The front desk couldn’t find our reservation which I had confirmed on line the day before. Room walls were thin and our neighbors were up from 3-4 am. Carpet was really dirty - I work socks for about an hour and they were like I’d been outside all day. Heating/cooling didn’t work well.

Easy on off from highway the staff are very nice, clean room.

We stayed one night, (last night May 9) very comfortable. The problem is, my credit card was charged for close to $400 more than it should have,( I had already paid for the room) in 5 different transactions. One being over $100 for a lg, unregistered pet, the last one was declined because they maxed out my card. And several others. Called them when I got to my final destination. The nice lady said they would reverse all the charges, but it would take 3-5 days. That’s unacceptable.

I stayed with my family for the weekend as we visited the indoor waterpark at Massanutten Resort -- about a 20ish minute drive away. I was able to complete check-in "paperwork" online before arrival, which meant that I got the room keys immediately once at the hotel. The front desk attendant was very nice and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable for our purposes. The breakfast offered standard options, which suited our needs, but what impressed me most was how well the staff member assigned to manage the breakfast did at keeping all items well-stocked and hot. We'd stay at this hotel again should we have a need to go back to the "Friendly City".

We reached in the night at 11:45 pm with two kids. Yash at the reception was very helpful and checkin was a breeze. Their breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and we were leaving by 6 am but Yash made sure that we we have breakfast before we leave and he prepared everything before time also for us. He was so friendly and helpful in everything. We would love to stay again in Microtel if Yash would be there.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast, fair.

Clean rooms, staffs were nice. The room with wet bar looks much more spacious. Breakfast: waffle maker, yogurt, bagels, fruit, donuts, etc. Basic but enough.

They are good people. Good breakfast.

Shower fan in room 416 didn’t work

Sheets were dirty and dogs were barking all night long.

Not much for breakfast. Staff not very friendly. Room was the smallest room I ever saw. Will not return
