This was a good experience, especially for the price! Was a steal for just one night's stay.

Staff are all liars who refuse to let you speak with them GM. They also make excuses for everything. Bathroom door broken and no privacy. Staff refuse to fix any complaints. Microwave broken turn table. Soap dish filthy. Floors scratched and awful. Window blinds broken. Was told manager would speak with me but never talked. They hide and refuse to answer complaints. The bed is the worse part of all. It squeaks every movement. Its literally the most awful bed ever. Property is junk. Refuse to offer discounts or comp a night to make up for the horrible quality service. Staff also accused me of banging when it was upstairs banging for over 4 hours. Viktas Ghandi runs all the wyndhams in harrisonburg and all of them are run down and terrible I stayed in Super 8 and it had mice in the room. I called the building inspector and they said there was already complaints in progress. Dont stay here unless you dont care about dirty broken rooms with broken everything.

It’s a motel set up, but cleaner and more renovated than I imagined. Beds were comfortable and bathroom set up was nice. A very good breakfast spread was offered, too. There was an outside door that didn’t have a soft close that banged periodically in the hallway that could use fixing. Otherwise a good place to spend a night during graduation.

It was conveniently located near the highway It is in serious need of some updating. When we arrived in our room there was urine and used toilet paper in our toilet and some trash in the can. If it wasn't so late we would have left immediately. Two words for the experience, ew gross.

Breakfast was typical for Days Inn. Room and common areas were clean and rooms were recently remodeled. People do smoke in the parking lot which makes the room smell, but the front desk asked them to move farther from the windows which was really nice. People were loud going to their cars but ear plugs fixed that. Great value and location.

Most desk employees were nice but one VERY RUDE! Unfortunately, it only takes one and this is after we added another night before the long drive home. Took everything up to the room and we checked into someone's dirty room. New room remote was broke and was told to bring back down only for them to come up anyway to test and see it was not working. Parking lot was trash, old dog kennel with grass growing. Needs maintenance, needs painting on the stairs with so much rust. My suggestion would be put some of the profits back into this AWESOMELY located hotels and appreciate your customers seeing the major amount of competition all around!

The room itself was renovated nicely but the doors are loud when opening and closing. Also the alarm was going on next door from 9-3am so that was fun. called front desk and not sure anyone did anyhting.

The price I received was phenomenal, but -- Expedia -- this is on you too. I reached out four times within the cancellation window and was put on hold for up to 16 minutes. I do not recommend this as a place to stay, and I will be thinking twice before booking through your website again.

The room and bathroom were clean, but the couch had a stain and the floor had deep scratches. We had a nice view over the valley. It would have been nice to have had some literature about the area on the desk. I would use this hotel again. Moderate price and restaurants nearby.

My goodness, every time I sit or move around in my bed was making metallic noises, so I couldn’t sleep and asked them to change at 2am from king to double, then it was ok. Free breakfast was okay.

One room had a terrible smell when we walked in, mostly in the bathroom. Kinda smelled like someone had eaten a huge seafood meal in the room. Turning the fan on and spraying some perfume helped. The other room also had an odor but turning the fan on helped. The bed was hard and creaky but you could tell it was recently upgraded - they just chose to go the cheap route with bedspring mattresses vs memory foam or something else. The charging port next to my bedside didn't work, the stairs outside were rusted and there was a rusted dog cage in the parking lot. Breakfast was OK, waffle maker was the highlight. Otherwise, it was bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee.

Room was very clean. 2 separate buildings, 1 with all outside entrances. No elevator for 2nd floor rooms in 2nd building. Parking at main entrance very hard to navigate. Breakfast minimal.

The staff was great. The room and breakfast was good. The only issues I found were that the bed was too high. I’m only 4’11” so to get my husband to help me get into it. The room needed a light beside the mirror so one could sit and put on makeup, etc. Thanks

This Days Inn was so disgusting we left and went to another hotel. The room was filthy and the stench was so unbearable we could not stay. Ofcourse we lost our money. Booking should be ashamed of having such a place this dirty on there site. And furthermore, we will not be using booking anymore because of this experience! Everything was horrible! Walked into the room and found part of a blunt on the floor. Found a wig in a drawer. There was what looked like stretchy rope tied around the bars on the side of the bed, and they had been cut through. And the wifi password was Captive1703 😳

Dirty room, window sill disgusting, black hairs on floor, molding, tub. I couldn’t even take a shower after my 7 hr drive. Doors slamming, kids screaming running all night long. Had enough n left at 4 am. Beds like Laying on plywood. Never will we book there again.

This is a clean, acceptable hotel. The staff was friendly. A nice budget(for the area) experience.

Bed was okay. Staff that checked me in was very nice and pleasant. Towel was stained. Did not look like most suites that I have seen. When I came back to my room I walked up the steps only to smell pot really bad outside my room door. No ashtray in a smoking room.

It was a nice room, staff was pleasant. The location was ideal for what I needed. Very close to local food and national chains. Offered room service which was really nice. If I have another business trip in Harrisonburg I would stay here again. Never got a receipt. My room didn't have a channel list wasn't a big deal just a little annoying.

When you have to have your room inspected before you check out was a first for me. Never heard of that being done in any other lodging. At check in , Just because I questioned the pet fee as this was the first time traveling with my dog, she immediately call what I think was management and spoke in Spanish on speaker with someone, then continued with me to talk with a condescending tone. I won’t rebook and didn’t on my return trip Felt unsafe

They accepted a last minute booking, and the staff were very informative and polite. The outside of the building we were put up in was littered with random articles of clothing, etc and there were long-term lodgers hanging around the parking area. To be honest, it didn't inspire a deep feeling of safety.That said, once inside, it was a very clean, updated, nicely decorated room. The floors were all laminate and ceramic tile, there was a large screen tv, small coffee maker, mini-fride, and very nice shower. The beds were VERY comfortable, and the bedding was well laundered. Our only complaint would be that the frames of the beds were SO creaky that they'd make a loud noise if you so much as moved your head.It honestly made it difficult to fall asleep. The breakfast in the morning had a decent selection and the seating area was well kept.

The breakfast was satisfactory. The room was with a hallway with lots of loud noises throughout the evening because of the slamming of doors throughout the night. I found bugs in the bathroom and in the bedroom of which I've provided photos.

After checking in and going to our “non-smoking” room we promptly went back and let the staff know we could not stay. Old property that obviously where smoking was allowed. You can’t get rid of that smell. Suffering from allergies and breathing issues it was a no go. The staff was friendly and understanding and refunded us.

Check in was a breeze we didn't even have to ask about handicap facilities for my dad she even gave him a room close to the entrance.. The rooms and beds were clean maybe just a little to high for a older person.. I'm not sure if they were renovating or what but the AC unit didn't seem to work and there were no way to tell if you had it on ac heat or fan... Other than that everything was great

Thank you for overbooking and giving my room away. Flying all day , driving two hrs in a storm and told that I do not have a room. My credit had been charged and had a confirmation email with check in details. Lady at the front desk did not seem to care. What a first impression!

Don’t know how many times they were they when I was not looking. They accept pets though. So if you don’t have pets, I’d pick a different place next time I come to Harrisburg VA.

The beds were perfect, firm and plenty of pillows. I slept the best I have ever slept at hotel here. The whole experience was really great, there was no loitering around the property and it was quiet and that was refreshing! Our last hotel was a nightmare!! If I am ever back in Harrisonburg, this Days Inn will my go to place!!!

The room was great; however access to the property was difficult. We circled the area a few times before finding how to access it. the building was under renovation which meant our room was newly renovated and beautiful but it also meant that there was no breakfast at the time which was a disappointment.

Website advertises free coffee and breakfast item , but only poor quality coffee was available in the morning. Door lock in the room was not working properly, one could open the door with light push, so security was compromised. Couldn't get Wi-Fi; info was not readily available. But room and bathroom were clean, mattress very comfortable. Overall acceptable.

If you have an issue with a guest just call authorities. No point in antagonizing guests furthering discrepancies. The owners of this property in my opinion have absolutely no business running a motel. I’ve been using Expedia for years staying at many properties.

Rented two rooms, each one was good for a single night stay, but the property is in a need of repairs, and a dead cockroach in a corner did not help much with the impression. However, for the price, the venue is OK - if I were so picky, I should have had booked a 5-star hotel for 10 times the price. Overall, OK.

I reserved a Smoking Room, when I arrived at the Hotel I was informed all rooms are Non-smoking. She knew this and saw that I had requested a Smoking Room, I was never informed to allow me time to find another Hotel, When I arrived I had to search for another Hotel, luckily I was able to do so.

We were given newly renovated room. Very nice. The hotel is two story motel where you park in front of rooms. Very expensive for a budget motel, but then again, it was JMU graduation weekend.

To be honest this place is not suitable for kids and really anyone. It’s dirty , paint coming off the ceiling, lights not working and horribly stained / dirty bed linens, towels and over all everything

It was a neutral experience. If you just need a place to hold up for a night this this very Eco economy friendly not to be confused with you know ecosystem lol. It is a decent place to stay that is easy on your wallet I would recommend it. Not much for luxury but I mean basic but I definitely would still recommend it.

Just so you know, they didn't clean my room or take out the trash or bring my towels all week, I had to go pick it up from the office in the afternoon when I got home from work.👎👎👎👎

Hotel is in the middle of a renovation. It shouldn’t even be open during this time. I’m not sure even a quarter of the rooms are in use right now. It looked deserted. Check in started at 3. We arrived at 4:15 and our room wasn’t ready. Had to wait. The room seems to have had a new floor put in, but haven’t gotten any further. Walls cracked and paint peeling. Pictures missing in the room but picture hangers still there. Bed as hard as a rock and pillows useless. A gallon bottle of opened Hawaiian Punch in the closet. A lot of noise from the main road by the hotel even at 1am. ( Not the hotels fault) We would have left but we only had 15 minutes to get to our event. Wouldn’t stay there again for free.

Internet was a bit spotty, great stay

Never again. I booked 2 rooms for my sister and I to go tubing. Check in was at 3 and I had a reservation at 4:00 to go snow tubing. When I arrived to the room, the bathroom had stained towel and my telephone wasn’t working so I called the front desk from my personal phone. Letting them know my towels are dirty and my phone doesn’t work.The maintenance man came and said he’ll bring a different phone. Then the house keeper came and brought me a stack of towels that appeared to be discolored from multiple uses and had a nerve to tell me they were still damp and was that okay. I told her no, I want fresh towels. So she finally brought new ones. Then my sister who’s room was across from mine had a pair of dirty underwear hanging on her bathroom door. She told the house keeper and she disposed of them. By this time we had to leave for our reservation so by the time we got back, still no phone. So me and my sister went to the front desk and asked for refund so I could go elsewhere. The lady at the front desk said she had to talk to the OWNER. The owner said he couldn’t get a refund bc 3 hours had past. I asked to speak to the manager personally, the staff member said I couldn’t talk to her or get her number. By this time I’m furious because our conversation was going nowhere so we all just packed all our stuff and went back home the same night…the place was filthy, the whole building smelled terrible and the people next to us were arguing so loud and appeared to be drug addicts.

The front desk staff was horrible and not able to check me in with out calling the manger, she was very rude and manager was not useful this place is horrible, I stayed somewhere else

Terrible. Old outdated. Mold in bathroom. Towels are old. Microwave didn’t work. I had to beg for extra towels the next day. Dirty windows. 13inch tv. Was locked out of my room with no explanation.

Also, housekeeping left a clipboard with scrap papers/notes on them. The non-blank side of the scrap paper consisted of past guests names and portfolios as well as the in-house guest list of all guest names, room numbers, and dates of stay.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, but this motel is in need or complete renovation. From switch plates falling off the wall, mold growing on the wall and ceiling leaking.

i was very displeased with this hotel. when we walked into our room there was an unpleasant smell. the bathroom counters were sticky and dirty and it was clear the sink and shower had not been cleaned in a very long time. the towels that were folded up in our room had mascara and other makeup on them and had been folded up to appear clean. the bed had stains all over the comforter and sheets. there was mascara on the pillows and hair in the bed. the sheets had clearly not been washed. the room was very unclean and I will not be coming back to stay another time.

Room smelled musty, but was better once we turned on heater. Bed sheets were stained and would not stay on mattress. No where to sit except on beds. No extra toilet paper in bathroom. Will not stay there again!

The property needs to be updated. The towels are no longer even white and very poor quality. No reason to stay here except it was the least expensive we could find.

Only one of the wall outlets worked. Mold and water stains on ceiling . Stains on sheets, & pillow cases. Fridge had mold in it.

I told the front desk we were traveling with somebody who couldn’t do steps, they thanked me, and when I came back an hour later to pick up the keys, they put us on the top floor!

Very dirty and run down and smelled terrible. I immediately turned the keys to the front desk before I even entered the room.

Cost was reasonable but facility is dated. Bedding and towels were old, tv service poor, no breakfast.

Please get rid of the mold at least in the bathroom

This property is very old and dirty. The TV provided could barely be viewed as the screen was so small.

We ended up not staying at the hotel.

Dirty towels, bugs and smoke in a supposedly non-smoking room.

Fairstream head roaches was dirty towels were yellow ceiling was wet paint was falling down, move to a different room. It was not as bad but not good.

3 nights there, room never clean

THE LADY IN THE FRONT OFFICE WORKING ON OCTOBER 19TH 2023 WAS VERY RUDE DISRESPECTFUL OUT OF LINE MAKING THREATS NO GOOD THE ROOMS WERE DIRTY I WAS PUT IN A SMOKING ROOM WHEN I REQUESTED A NON-SMOKING ROOM THE BEDS WERE NASTY HAD HAIR AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN THEM

The lobby smelled like pee. The room stunk and bed uncomfortable. Holes in the walls, cracked sink, tv didnt work well and needed paint! Never again!

It was dirty, even the light switches, TV screen, mirrors just very bad.

Hotel was in very dirty and floor wasn’t clean , towels nobody changed ,bed sheet we had changed too

Price was great, room was clean, quiet, but there was no breakfast offered. It’s not a big deal but if it’s advertised then it should available. Overall not bad for the price.

Door had to kicked a bit to get it open while trying to enter

The hotel, surroundings and rooms were filthy and wreaked of smoke. The noise of slamming doors and nightly cars doung "donuts" in the parking lot kept us awake. The staff could care less, and did not even acknowledge us when we approached the desk. Will never stay here again and would have left if there had been another room available in town.

Everything was dirty. There was missing trim around the doors. Holes in the walls. Nothing like the listing pictures or description. Also, please note, "Due to an unforeseen issue, there is currently no breakfast at this time." Never again. And I have advised everyone I ran across this weekend that Harrisonburg Days Inn is a no-go zone.

The lobby is awful. We were supposedly registered in a room in the "new building" - the hallway smelled horrible. The room itself was pretty beat up and had no decor on any walls. The bathroom had stains and definitely didn't feel clean. The bed was good enough to sleep on for one night but we will definitely never stay at this hotel again.

The room was dirty. Towels were dirty. Black mold in the bathroom and around the hot tub. All walls and ceilings in the room were damaged and cracked. No lights around the vanity. The coffee pot did not work. Table leg was taped together. Desk chair was worn. Pick-up truck with men grilling and drinking in the parking lot.

Property needs an overall.

The room smelled like smoke and was a room I would not visit again.

This place is disgusting. I may sleep in my car. Dirty and smelly. Everything in the area is booked tonight or I would leave. Whatever the lowest possible rating is, that’s what I would rate this dump

No secure WiFi-no breakfast as advertised-room smelled-A/C ineffective-a toilet from an elementary school-overall 2stars is generous!

Very friendly and helpful. Our tv wasn’t working and a very nice gentleman came and fixed it so my partner could watch wrestling on tv.

What a dump. This place wasn't worth the money spent. Usually, I'll give a better review if the bed is comfortable. This place had some really sketchy people hanging out when we got there, watching every move we made. Not coming back to this location ever again.
