Room and staff were all very nice.

Stayed overnight with a u-haul truck and towing trailer. Had difficulty with parking it, but the registration staff member Arranged another space for it. Staff was very helpful.

Great stop for an overnight stay, especially for the price. Although it was nothing fancy, it was clean spacious with a mini fridge and microwave. Plus the hot breakfast made this stay a great value.

It’s all about expectations. We used this motel as a halfway point on our way to Orlando. No frills, older motel which met our needs for one night. Free hot breakfast definitely a plus! Great local Mexican restaurant nearby. Staff was very nice when they asked if I was a smoker, as I had mistakenly booked a smoker’s room. Luckily, a non-smoking room was available. Would stay again.

For the money, it's good, I suppose. They do allow pets. Never asked to see papers to prove they are ESAs but bare floors, No rugs. broken sink stopper. Hot breakfast but few choices.

We didn’t have a great experience and that was due mostly to the cleanliness of our room. We found hair on the sheets, a rather large stain on the comforter and various cleaning issues. The hallway leading to our room smelled like smoke and we ultimately decided to book a different hotel as it was already late.

We were staying 1 night as part of a 15 hour road trip. We just really needed sleep. Bed was comfy. Towels in bathroom were awful. They were dingy and cheap like from dollar general. Im not picky, but it was terrible to use after a shower

Breakfast was as good as any other we have experienced over decades. Supplies were continued to be put out until the expected end, even with only 2 minutes remaining. The only breakfast items not supplied were decaf coffee and an alternate juice besides orange juice. We had sausage but no bacon. This is a small motel, offering half-price but excellent rooms, so that was not a surprise.

Hello fellow budget travelers, here's an honest review of RRI. The negatives first. This RR is operated totally by one family who is socially distant from their quest, southern hospitality is non-existent here. This brick motel was well built but need some updates. The room was painted by amateurs, and the furniture was dated. The towels were worn, and one of the wash cloths had a hair in it, so off to WM we go. Also, hair, and dust buildup could be found on the floor and trim. The positive. No bugs, which can be a problem in motels the farther south you go. The motel is quite and have a safe feel about it. The owners are frequently seen walking about or exercising. No sound can be heard between the walls, but easily heard from the door and window, in fact never did I hear anyone walking above me, again, the building was well built. Also there is a spot around the back where people sit and bring their grill. This motel host not only travelers but skill workers also. Hardeeville is undergoing a residential boom.! Best of all is it's LOCATION. RRI sits on HW 17. 30 miles and you're in Beaufort for a fascinating carriage ride. 25 miles and you're in Hilton Head looking across the Atlantic. 17 miles straight down HW 17 and you're in the heart of Savannah. 9 miles straight down HW 17 and you're at Savannah's national wildlife refuge to ride through and the see the alligators. 30 miles down I95 and you're in Richmond Hill, Ford's southern town, to do a free narrated driving tour.

We had booked this as a stop between out travel surprisingly property was clean and they had hot breakfast and it was good.. had good experience

Decent, the guy working check in was the same one doing breakfast and while he wasn't super friendly he was efficient and kept the breakfast stocked. The room was pretty average for that style of hotel. Had to go outside to get to the breakfast/front desk.

I've stayed in many budget hotels for both business and pleasure and found the house keeping to be lacking. But during our stay house keeping came in every day and knew what to leave alone. I appreciate that very much.

Things started off ok after we checked in, but they quickly turned bad when we found a roach crawling out of our wall the second night. It was too late to switch rooms as my son and granddaughter were already asleep so I didn’t bother mentioning it until morning. They did offer to switch our room but my worry was if they are in one room then they are in all and we were leaving early the next morning so we just stayed in the same room instead of packing up. They also decided to paint around the pool on the only sunny and warm day of the weekend rendering it useless to my kids.

Staff was very accomadating with issue i had with drivers license. Breskkeast was nice, coffe was good.

The staff the food, the cleanliness, the friendliness everything was great. I travel a lot and staying a lot motel hotels and this has been one of my favorite so far.

The rooms were very clean. It is a very good choice for a budget room. The problem i had was nothing to do with the room. When i was there there was people outside my room smoking weed and the smell was aweful. They were out there for more than an hour. I did not contact the office maybe i should have. I thought they would go back to thier room. Would i stay there again. Maybe... I'm not sure

The first room we were given was dirty. It looked like no-one had been in it for years. The phone and the vinyl chair (red) was covered in dust and prominent as soon as we turned on the lights. I pulled back the comforter to check the bed and the mattress had big stains down the sides visible thru the sheets. We requested to be moved and were placed in another room. It was cleaner but I still didn’t feel comfortable walking without shoes. Plus, the red vinyl chair had dust in all corners. Both rooms were run down with stained, cracked grout and tile. That said, the staff was apologetic and helpful. Yes, you do get what you pay for getting a clean bed should be a given.

We've stayed in quite a few 8.0 rated hotels, or higher. This was not what i'd call an 8. Just old, worn, and weird smells. Lots of dogs. Stains in the hallway, everything is just old and needs attention. Room was fine, mattresses seemed cheap and weird. OK place, but not what I expected. Breakfast was good, staff were nice. Just kind of run down. I would not stay again, but for a cheap night, was OK.

We were completely happy and satisfied with our 1 night stay in this Red Roof Inn. We checked the excellent box for all the questions, but have to say the free breakfast was even better than excellent. The very low price made the whole experience amazing.

Very dated property but the room was clean and bed was comfortable. My room (148) was at the very back of the property and it felt a little sketchy back there for a female solo traveler. I think workers live there during the week. They were doing car repairs in the parking area. Made it feel sketchy. I would not stay here again.

If your expectations are for a property which is conveniently located near the I95 corridor, that is clean and safe, with a consistent presence from the front desk to address concerns and a basic, but serviceable, continental breakfast, then your expectations will be met.

It was great for the price. The worker just opened the door while we were sleeping and when I popped up to look they closed the door and took off saying nothing.

Sketchy people but also some very noce people. We just stopped for the night while driving so we didnt know much about the area.

Overall, the hotel was decent for a one night stay but my biggest complaint is there was not a lot of breakfast and the breakfast that was there was not super appetizing looking. there is no iron and no plunger in the room (the toilet clogged very easily). The pool was excellent, very clean! there was not a lot of trash on the property.

The outside needs some repairs and cleaning….the inside especially the bathrooms need better cleaning around toilets and showers. But the bathrooms need some major renovations

the room was a 5 at best. bed was tilted to one side. towels were grey and dingy. as were the linens. there was a dirty foot print in the tub. we didn’t even stay our second night, which we had prepaid.

The Front Desk staff was super nice! The hotel itself looked a little run down but the rooms looked recently refurbished - the floors and furniture were decent. The mattress needed to be replaced. I felt safe and it was RIGHT beside the interstate so we could get a quick early start.

Clean, well-maintained hotel. Great location and value. I always stop here when I am traveling along the East Coast. Pet friendly, welcoming staff, and just an easy, convenient stay. Avoid rooms on the back of the hotel. Blinding lights on the parking area came into my room under the curtain all night, and people were hanging out and partying on the walkway outside their rooms, which were next to mine. They were super loud, smoking and drinking until around 2 a.m. This was my third time here, and the other times my room was more centrally located and did not have this issue. Will stay here again but will request a room that is not on the back of the hotel.

Great value! Price included breakfast and 2 pets stay free! The room was large, and the bed was very comfortable. The grounds were clean and well kept. It was very quiet and conveniently located off of 95. We would definitely stay there again! We liked everything! It was a perfect halfway stop on our way home.

If you are expecting a 5-star hotel, you may be disappointed. However, for ~$60., you can't beat it! Nice staff, fine location for my 2 pups (and NO extra charge!), and good continental breakfast -- yogurt and muffins is all I was interested in.

Great place to stay when heading to FLA

Good economical place to stay.

I was mislead by the 8/10 rating and people saying the rooms were renovated. The room we stayed in was not. The bathroom was busted up and gross. Black stuff on the toilet seat. Thank goodness we only had to stay for 5 hours.

We stay here twice a year for at least 3 nights per trip. Great for us. Clean shower, sheets every time. Comfortable beds & pillows. Our chihuahua loves it here.

We stay here every year for St. Patrick's Day and fall festivals. Sleep like logs. Comfortable, clean beds & pillows! Towels could be newer & softer, but the price is right and the staff is very accommodating.

We drive up 95 a couple times a year to visit family. This is the first time we have returned to a hotel we have stayed at previously. This spot is a great value. Good beds, clean, efficient. At first I was bummed there were no 1st floor rooms as I had a lot of stuff but the 2nd floor rooms turned out to be on an interior hallway which is even more quiet.

Inexpensive motel. The room was okay. It was clean and the TV worked and all the lights worked. Lots of plugins for gadgets on the lamps and elsewhere. Plenty of hot water. The heater worked very well, it got down to the 30's and the room was toasty warm. The bed was plush and comfortable with three pillows. I liked that the free breakfast had egg and sausage available.

Comfy bed. Room was pretty good. The faucet at the sink was gross. Looked stained as if soap and toothpaste were on it. Even saw a stray gray hair. If it was wiped with a cleaning rag, it should have been dried with a dry cloth.

Staff was hard to understand. Didn’t let me check in had to get husbands license before he would let us check in. Driving for 10 hours. Same last name! I booked not husband . Room ok . Not perfect . But with animals allowed .. they may not clean as good.

Yes breakfast is what made this deal a very good deal and I appreciate that aspect of it all in all nothing stuck out like a sore thumb to the best of my knowledge and if it did I would remember I'm quite certain so worth the money and recommend especially if on a budget and breakfast is a favorite meal of yours because they will have your little kryptonite out for you to go blew up on before you head out or go back to sleep

I’ve stayed here a few times now and it’s my go to for the area. The rooms are clean, reasonably priced, and they have a nice breakfast offering.

We would definitely stay here again on our travels between Florida and Pennsylvania. The gentleman at the front desk at check-in and check-out was nice. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was not the greatest, but it was included and the coffee was hot. I would have liked a bagel and cream cheese.

The room was dirty.when i woke up to use the bathroom in the middle of they night i awoke to a brown bug crawling on the bed.no idea what it was.

The room condition was a bit rough. There were stains and writing on the sheets. There were stains on the tub. The nightstand pulls were rusty as were many of the metal items in the bathroom. There was staining on the floor which gave the appearance of being dirty. Keycards did not work the first time but that was no big deal

Beds were very comfortable! For the price I paid, all I wanted was a comfortable bed, good shower, and a drain that wouldn't fill. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Easy on and off the highway. Would recommend!

The location was perfect for where we were heading and the room had the necessities with a comfortable bed. That is pretty my all I was looking for.

Check in was super fast & easy. The bathroom floor needs to be scrubbed as it was dirty and made the room feel dirty. The A/C filter needs to be replaced. It was very dusty and it looked like there were large holes in it. Breakfast was ok- sausage patties and also egg patties. There were bisquits and gravy too. The coffee was better than other hotel coffee.

This particular Red Roof hotel is one of the safest and serene red roof hotels I have ever visited. There was an entry door (accessible only with your card to open) to the upstairs rooms which made it extra safe and secured. The room was basic but very comfortable and clean. Staff were also helpful and friendly.

He stayed in four hotels on our trip and this was by far the nicest and was surprisingly the cheapest. We would definitely stay here again.

Nicest Red Roof Inn we’ve ever stayed in. Convenient location adjacent to I-95. Check in was a breeze. Room was spotless and everything worked well. Bed was very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. Breakfast was the best ever at a budget friendly hotel, and the attendants were personable. We would definitely stay again when in Hardeeville.

This small hotel was surprisingly modern and clean inside. Renovations are amazing and, by far, the best shower I've ever had. Owners are very sweet and breakfast was very good which included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt and waffles. Highly recommend and will be our go to when traveling this area. Less than a 30 minute drive to hilton head or downtown savannah.

The lady at the front desk was lovely. She was courteous and friendly.

Read reviews of hotels in Hardeeville very difficult to make a choice because bad recent reviews. I asked to look at room first of other 3 hotels very dissatisfied. Took a chance on Red Roof and pleasantly surprised. Room furniture more up to date very clean and bed very comfortable. . Check in was smooth housekeeping check on me for fresh linen . Surprisingly stay and room was perfect untill I saw 1 small roach literally on way checking out . Great value but sadly only issue ( made isolated) would stay again ..

Dirty! The sheets were dirty on the bed.. found strands of someone else’s hair on top of the fitted sheet towards the foot of the bed plus stains on the pillowcases which led me to believe they didn’t even change the sheets. Gross. The bathroom was also filthy and toilet was dirty with poop stains and grime on the toilet seat. Absolutely filthy even given the price. At least ensure the room is properly cleaned even if it’s an old motel.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, PRICE POINT, and COMFORT. Close enough to the downtown Savannah Historical District of Riverstreet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Put up do not disturb because I was working overnights and sleeping during the day. Still banged on the door and came in the room when I didn’t answer even when I called them and told them to please not come in the room

Very comfortable. I’ve been traveling all summer. I wanted a day to unwind before heading back to visit my brother in North Carolina before I head back to NY. Room was clean breakfast was perfect for a single travel stop. Staff at front desk check in was pleasant and helpful.

The front desk was nice and engaging and I had the best sleep at this hotel that I have had in some time...no joke. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway and was close to where we needed to be. Having the extra layer of safety for the inside rooms is really nice. I would def stay here again!

Quiet area good to relax.

Easy check-in, good breakfast, convenient to find off highway; nice to park right outside room, quiet. The bathroom was tiny and seemed to have a dirty floor or stained grout around the toilet and tub, the main negative. Found an excellent Mexican restaurant nearby, Los Cuates Mexican Restaurant with delicious tacos and burritos.

It was convenient to fast food and to walmart. This was a stop over on the way to S. Florida. The room had a hard time keeping cool. AC worked but parts of the room were still quite warm. Possibly due to lack of door jamb insulation.

I checked out after one night stay. I was not able to get refund from front desk.

Given the high rating by other guests, location and price we booked for one night on our road trip. Reviews stated it was clean. Not sure why moat people said this unless their expectations were set so low to begin with. Room was dirty, especiallly the floor and the bathroom. Smelled like mold as soon as you walked in the room. Towels were thin, rough and gray. Some even had stains. Bath tub was obviously not cleaned, as there was hair on the walls. We even found a dirty sock beside the bed. It was so gross we left early the next morning. Due to the condition of the room we were afraid to trust the breakfast food.

Shower head was full of mildew. This place is garbage. We didn’t even bother with the free breakfast because we figured if there’s roaches in the room, they are definitely in the areas where they hold the food.

It was a nice stay. Clean and for the price it served the purpose. A bed for the night and a shower then I was off the following morning. The staff at the front desk was behind a window and didn’t really converse. Good nights rest and a clean room then you’ll be good to stay here.

It was not a bad place to stay but the insides of the rooms have a lot of moisture in them. My clothes felt damp the towels felt damp. Other than that it wasnt bad for the price. Someone checked in must be late next to me they were very loud banging on the door because someone would not let them in. The term you get what you pay for is just that. Less than 200 for the weekend but it wasnt all that bad. Pool was nice breakfast was just ok.

Exceptional stop on your way to any stayvacation! Right off the highway. Bed was very comfortable and the entired hotel was spotless. Very friend receptionist and did everything for me with a smile. We felt that housekeeping were kind of rushing us out, just a feeling because they didn't speak English. Nevertheless, we left them a tip. I truly never stsy in a Red Roof, being a Wyndham member I am not comfortable with pet friedly hotels because I am asthmatic and very allergic. This hotel reviews were right on! I rate them a 10 for a $64 stay, great for a night rest. Very quiet indeed. The pool was exceptional, so clean and the surrounding area spotless. Thanknyou to the management for doing such an outstanding job.

Property was good. Great basic overnight stay. Cleanliness could be slightly better. There was hair on my bed pillows. You can easily hear people talking outside the doors. My neighbors were smoking weed and it smelled very strongly in my room.

It did not smell

This was a quick getaway just myself, my son and his dad. We have stayed here plenty of times. No issues. Prior to the pandemic and hurricane. But stay wasn't as pleasant room didn’t look clean, dingy, curtains had stains, so did bed, bathroom floor could use a good scrubbing and the room had bugs in them...Breakfasts was okay. My son and his dad enjoyed it. I just had the toast. The hotel has always been quiet so that was a relief. The guests who stay there for work were so friendly and polite.

Dirty room. Bug free, but the floors where dirty, under the mattress was dirty. Mattresses where stained.

On another note (not related to the motel or staff) a young boy knocked on our door scared because he couldn't figure out where his family's room was. Parents - do better. You're lucky he knocked on our door and not one of a pedophile/human trafficker.

Safe and convenient

The Red Roof Inn was solid. Easy check in. Room was basic, clean, and had clearly been upgrades. Bed was clean and comfortable. The motel was packed but we didn’t hear any noise. Breakfast was crowded. The area around the hotel is a little run down but I didn’t feel unsafe. A solid one night stay and a good deal for the price.

Reasonable price. Good amenities like swimming pool, free breakfast, free parking. Next to highway, 45 minutes to many beaches.

Everything was great from the front desk to the room. Breakfast was delicious and the workers were so kind.

This is a quiet, older hotel. It looks pretty sketchy when you pull up. Definitely did not go outside by myself at night. It wasn’t the cleanest; however, despite how it appeared during the night, it was quiet and we were able to sleep.

Pet friendly. No EXTRA fee charged. Super reasonable cost for one night stay.

There was a hole on the drywall underneath the toilet bowl tank. The location was easy to find, right off 95 south. The place needs a full renovation.
