Breakfast? You mean the Walmart bags with the Sunny D, milk, bread, potatoes that was sitting on the lobby floor. I did not partake. I would not recommend this motel that is advertised as a hotel to anyone. Beware, photos are deceiving.

The groceries for breakfast were sitting on the dirty floor in the lobby the night before. That is very unsanitary.

This is an aging hotel structure but renovated to some degree. The room was comfortable with some spots needing a little more help. The bed was great though. The breakfast could use a little upgrading, but for the low price of a night's stay, it was better than satisfactory.

Obviously nothing has been done to assure upkeep. Room has toilet that struggled to flush, shower faucet that was loose in wall & likewise difficult to operate. Photo of lovely pool in lobby & in reality full of filthy water. Noise of others coming & going

We had to go to three different rooms due to the first two being dirty. When finally in the third room we asked for fresh sheets so we could change the bed and that was not completed by the staff.

Simple hotel off the highway. Friendly staff, clean adequate room and as expected. Simple breakfast in nice sit down area. Good price for last minute stay.

It wasn’t nothing like the pictures, it was really nasty like they didn’t clean the room thank goodness we brought our own sheets and blankets, the bathroom was really dirty and the floors wasn’t mop or vacuum I’m disappointed of Expedia that didn’t let me cancel that reservation I reserved for 2 nights ended up staying only 1 of the bad it was

The room was disgusting and smelled like urine. My kid slept in a chair because they felt itchy in the bed. Maybe there were pets that someone had pee all of the place?

We got two suites and both of them smelled bad. They were outdated and dirty. The pool was not taken care of and was full of swamp water. The breakfast was also incredibly gross. We would definitely not stay here again. Staff was nice.

I tried to be fair and ignore the poor reviews and give them a chance since the price was good. That was a mistake. The room had been somewhat remodeled, but was still really old and outdated in several areas. The bathroom was dirty; it desperately needed a fresh coat of paint and the tub needed to be scoured. When we woke up in the morning, a puddle of brown water had backed up into the sink. The whole room had a strange smell. The mattress in the pull out bed was covered in rest stains from the metal frame. And, my wife saw a lizard in the bathroom!

The room was comfortable and clean. Waffles were delicious. Heater worked well The refrigerator and microwave worked well. No juice or water to drink at breakfast. Only coffee and I don't drink coffee. Nobody at the front desk in the morning.

I killed two roaches within the first minute in the room, I slept with the light on to keep them at bay. Pool had a green tint. Bathroom tile grout was old and filthy, bathroom ceiling texture ready to fall off. Breakfast bar lacking items by 7:00.

They don’t have central air in the room. Air conditioner was very loud. Breakfast was the same food every day. I did like the pool. It was a good stay for the price.

There was Bed Bugs in the beds my woman got red spots over her body and itching had to go to Novant health Doctor Care diagnostics her with scabies they do not clean the tub.there Bed Sheets and Pillow cases need to be inspected my woman is suffering.

nothing was good at all There were roaches in 4 different rooms. Spiderwebs EVERYWHERE. The first two had 3 roaches in each room. They offered new rooms - had a roach hanging in a spiderweb. Requested my money back & they said they would refund me. Here I am without a refund. Had to book a place down the street.

Terrible Wi fi connection Never pick up the garbage and dirty towels from our room daily. Everytime I went to front desk no one was there. I had to wait about 5 minutes. I was overcharged for my stay. They did not honor Booking.com price.

However, the wifi in the room was beyond bad. The smoke detector was disassembled, the TV was an updated roku tv but the display quality was horrible, the phone didn't work and the water faucet had 2 small streams of water that can out. All the items were brought to the attention of the evening desk but nothing was done. They offered to change our room but we were too tired.

It was quiet. We had mechanical issues with RV so needed a place to stay overnight, Only issue we had was housekeeping just came right in and didn’t knock. I think they get a lot of workers that leave early so they just assume the room is vacant. Hubby let them know he wasn’t happy they didn’t knock so hope they do better going forward .

The building needs a thorough renovation. The pool conatined many rusty spots or whatever they were, which does not seem inviting for guests. I could see that the workers did their best, which is a plus.

This property look nothing like the picture. The "suite" we were assigned was filthy. Mold on the ceilings, mold on the walls, the bathroom was filthy. We saw bugs coming out of the furniture. We immediately checked out.

Well above average tv channel selection. Very nice room. I believe i stayed here 6 months ago, and still only one ice machine working! Breakfast opened @ 6 & already out of coffee @ 610! No one around to ask to bring more out.

Put me in a room that when I opened the door I was blasted by cat urine smell. I had to go back and request another room after having to go through a 30 min check in process. They put me in another room and it had mold on the ceiling. Place was gross and I cannot beleive someone would rent a room that smelled like that never mind the mold.

The hotel was very unkempt. Sink was clogged, air-conditioner broke, they fixed it but it broke again... Employees were nice the condition of the place is not a fault of their own...

This hotel is not suitable for guests. It was extremely dirty and with mold all over the place. We even saw two dead cockroaches. We checked in but left within five minutes, as staying here would have been a nightmare for my family. When I 'checked out' shortly after, the lobby staff informed me that the manager would contact me since they couldn't process a refund due to my third-party booking through Expedia. I'm still waiting for the manager's call and for my refund."

We appreciated the peaceful stay! Breakfast was nice and the worker in that area was exceptionally pleasant. The staff at the desk were also pleasant and spoke to us daily and we passed through their area. The bathroom was in need of upgrades due to extensive use but other than that, it was a great weekend.

Room smelt horrible! Smelled like dirty dogs. Had to turn ac on super low to try to get smell to go away. Good new is ac works for cooling (I froze) some kind of black liquid behind toilet on the floor and paint job was done haphazardly. Ended up not staying bc of the smell. Will not stay at a quality inn again now.

In at 11pm out by 7am next day. Comfortable room and free breakfast was nice. Always enjoy a Belgium waffle for breakfast 😋

this place is DIRTY!!! Bathroom smells like mold, suite kitchen area smelled like urine, the floors were so dirty it was making the bottom of our feet BLACK!! there is NO bar or Restaurant as advertised, they close the pool as soon as the sun starts to set and if your lucky they will open it up around 11am! Such a disappointment to the kids who really wanted to swim. The second day they wouldn't open it because they said there was a treatment being done but you'd think on a busy holiday weekend this would have been done prior or after things calmed down. The AC struggled to keep it cool and had a dripping noise that was very loud, we had to buy a fan just to sleep, and even then we all sweat so badly while we tried to sleep. My kids said a bug was in t bed crawling on them in bed. If any other hotel had availabilty we would have left immediately. Staff was unaccommodating and wouldn't switch us rooms because we booked through expedia. All around awful hotel stay, quite possibly the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. We got dirty looks from staff whenever we walked past them or used the pool. The vending machines took our money and then only had one option for available drink when it finally did work. It was an awful experience and anyone considering staying should think again and choose another hotel. We hope we get a refund because it was a complete waste of money, and false advertising. Will not be back, if I could rate zero stars I would.

Everything and everyone was just fantastic

Underwhelming

There were roaches in the room. The free breakfast is very limited and the same thing daily. We checked out a day early and refused to work with Expedia and give a partial refund.

Guest service, super friendly

The room was disgusting and dirty. Had to go and get another room elsewhere to feel clean and safe.

The room was clean and spacious. The beds were conformable even the pull out sofa bed was nice to lay on. The only real issue was the TV didn’t really come in clear. Alittle snowy even though it's hooks to cable. It wasnt a deal breaker because we got back late and checked out the following morning. The breakfast was pretty good as well. I would definitely stay rhere again.

An old property in need od updating. Limited food except fast food

This room was perfect for the large group we had. Beds were very comfortable. Room could have been a little cleaner. The breakfast was GREAT! Pool was super clean. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Laundry was not operable as stated on website, glass drug pipe with some meth/crack found by the bed, breakfast was better than some but just barely average, beds were comfortable and staff at front desk was nice. Had to use local laundry .5 miles down the road and visited a piggly wiggly for groceries that was decent. Nothing to brag about but it worked in a pinch.

Booked through Expedia & is much money for a room. I can’t control air conditioner. Called front office on a phone full of static. Sweating myself to sleep. Should have saved my money & slept in car where air conditioning works. Front office was no help. Wouldn’t answer ph 2nd time, couldn’t call 3rd time because room ph stopped working. Rooms look nice, but TV is only thing that works properly. Waste of money

The room was great. The pool looked inviting and clean, but we did not go in. The breakfast was good as well. The front desk people were efficient but not very friendly.
