Studio 6 Extended Stay - Hampton, VA - Langley AFB Area

Worst place ever. Smelled like animals . Carpets so nasty. Bugs . I paid and didn’t stay. Had to get a room somewhere else . Was thankful I could .

Beware, this is a very run-down, smelly, dirty property with bare-bones amenities.

Lobby Area and Adjacent Hallways smell absolutely awful and the carpet are stained brown. Room smelled like bleach and had orange residue on floors. Kitchenette was working and other amenities were fine.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and would not have stayed one night if it wasn’t so late after a long days drive. We did not stay for the second paid night. We should have turned around when we could see the condition of the carpet walking up to the front door. At first we thought maybe they had a flood on the first floor but the hallway carpet thru out the building was blackened with dirt and the odor or urine. The room that was listed as non-smoking wreaked of cigarette smoke and the walls, doors and cabinets were damaged. Fortunately, we stripped the bed to check and the only positive we can give was “no bed bugs”. We are going to request a refund for night two we did not stay and checked out early.

The location. The condition of the room and the bathroom I was not satisfied with. There were several roaches in the room and the bathroom did not have any soap nor enough towels. There was no decor in the room nor do I recall having an ice bucket in the room. Just dismal to say the least.

Housekeeping on extended stay is limited, But they are pet friendly and Staff is Friendly and responsive, location is Great for my 32 mile commute to work, and close to shopping and resturants!!!

The walls are so thing I can hear people across the hall having s*x, as well as the gas station outside my room. This is very obvious the hotel of choice for people renting by the months. Drug smells and usage is rampant everywhere inside and outside.

The front desk lady was terrific. She has a future in hotel management if she so desires. I also like how friendly everyone was with each other, like a community of friends. Roaches. There were roaches.

I enjoyed the staff at the front desk very friendly and very helpful. The whole entire building needs to be cleaned,have pest control services,all carpets need to be removed and replaced throughout building. I had to spray my room due to all the roaches crawling everywhere and sweep my floor cause housekeeping didn’t do it.

This is a poorly maintained facility. The furniture in my room was old and beat up, and there was a roach in my room. This facility brings in beaucoup monies from overpriced government contract provide long-term shelter to Virginia residents who are in danger of becoming homeless, and the management appears to put very little back into it, judging from the obvious signs of neglect and disrepair. This is why Americans are revolting against the exploitation of greedy corporate chieftains. Don't book a room at this facility. It's first-rate crap!

I honestly didn't like anything about this room I paid close to $700 for seven nights and wasn't satisfied. I had to check out on my second night there. Way overpriced for nothing. Roach infestation, room door kept getting stuck couldn't get in nor out without having to bang on the door, and yanking it open. I am very dissatisfied and will never book here again. Also, still waiting on my refund only stayed two nights. It was a nightmare.

There was maybe 2 ladies that came and helped when I needed it. There was roaches, literal poop, and mold in my room, my door did not have a lock on it. And the customer service number that is on that green board at the front desk is in fact a steak house number, and they were beyond rude to me when I brought my concerns to them. Ms Jessica needs to find a new job and I will be reporting her to every company I can until she no longer has a job. The nerve to have an attitude with me when I paid for this bs is insane but I WILL be getting my refund for this. Idk why yall don’t think cameras work but they do

The Hotel was well located for our needs. The Hotel was in need of refurbushment. It had stained and dirty carpets, the room was in a poor state of repair and the facilities were tired and destressed looking. It was not a good example of what your brand can be like.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Truly appreciate them. There is a very bad roach infestation & someone allowed their dog to urinate in the hallway on the carpet.

The staff was very good but other than that not else was good The bed fell through the frame the floors were dirty and there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and the light by the bed start a flickering and I ask for a handicap room and I didn't get it and there is not enough handicap parking the hallways always smell like weed and is always hot and there were no blankets or comforters on the bed and there was only two pillows and the hall floors are all stained up

The only thing that was good about this property was the lady at the front desk. The original room I had the A/C didn’t work. The whole building felt like the a/c was out, it smelt like smoke, it was hella noisy. I didnt even stay the whole time I was there

Half way from Jersey traveling with our blind dog to attend my cousins wedding . Get a call that there’s a plumbing issue and that our room was cancelled . Not even considering to offer a room on a different floor . Very disappointed

Toilet and ac unit among other things were held together with tape. Box spring was not the right size. Twin sized box spring for a full sized bed. Everything was dirty, flies and insects around the room. Entire building smells like cigarettes. Overall disgusting property and would never recommend.

I was highly dissappointed when I arrived at the hotel. The young Black man and the custodian were very helpful and cordial. The manager, was not ugly but appeared but was not helpful. Upon arrival, I expressed a need for an iron and board. She told me they did not provide those anymore but would see if she could find one. Well, the evening went on and there was no communication at all. When I spoke with the Black grentleman, he expressed concern but shared there was not an iron or board available. I did attempt to make the situation work in spite of the room having a bed with only two sheets and two pillows. There was nothing (i.e. utensils, in the room but a small refegerator, dim lights, and a table in the corner of the room. I took pictures because no one would believe me. Oh,I forgot to add that the area below the sink was open as if not completed carpentry. The custodian did, however, correct the toilet seat. The longer I tried to make things work, the more upset I became. I have stayed at this place when it was a Surburban Extended Stay Hotel. Needless to say,it was well kept and the amenities, included in ther price, were present. I ended up moving out to another hotel which was truly an inconvenience! Also planninbg a presentation for the next day was nearly impossible. I must add that all of the areas I was exposed to were clean, however needing serious repairs and updating! We had absolutely no hot water in our shower. the kitchenette & bathroom sink would put out steaming hot water almost immediately but we tried to run the shower 3 separate times over 3 days and it never even got lukewarm. Ended up going to another hotel a friend was staying at to shower. We did not have pillows or curtains in our room & had to go ask. Our TV also wasn’t working. There was hair in our shower and our kitchenette burners were missing pieces. the beds were very uncomfortable and the boxsprings had some questionable stains on them. overall the room just wasnt very clean. for spending $250, i wasn’t expecting a castle but we could have at least had hot water.

It’s was nice and snug for a 2night stay. The usual noise from upstairs and next door, but no unwanted interruptions or anything. Definitely will come again. I had to clean everything again before moving in the room but it’s all good. :)

The property was good and the manager was nice. The problem was when we arrived and checked in, got the key and went to the our assigned room, the door was ajar and the room wasn’t ready. We had go back to the front desk and let the manager know. He did offer us another room that would be ready in an hour. Otherwise, he was very friendly and apologized.

I'm really impressed with the upgrades of the motel. I went away for a while and came back to a higher standard of customer service, plenty of management staff available at all times, freshly painted halls, staff calling you by name and acknowledging you. They always have towels and linen ready for you. They have more strict policies that make being there more comfortable and safe. The laundry room is cheaper than the laundromat and is accessible 24hr/day. You can use coins or pay digital with your phone. It's very convenient. As always the location can't be beat! Close to the interstate, gas station, major shopping/entertainment area, the hospital, and colleges! You can drive or catch the bus in front of the motel. I'm never disappointed staying here.

When you walked towards the elevators it smelled of mildew. My room had a leak that you can tell they just patched up. There were roaches and dead roaches in my room. The room also smelled horrible I had to buy a candle to get the smell out.

Got what I paid for... travelling alone I wanted cheap. Clean & safet but should have spent a little more. TV didn't work (replaced), phone didn't work (just went to desk) and not enough light to enjoy a book.

I had stayed here many times before the last time being 2019 and they were doing renovations so I was looking forward to seeing what the rooms looked like now. I was truly disappointed. I know this is an extended stay facility but please make the roaches check out before your paying guest check in. Housekeeping needs to be retrained and understand that COVID is still very much present in 2023. The floors and chairs in my room were dirty and had not seen soap and water in a while. I went to wet a wash cloth to wash my face and when I wrung the water out, the sink was full of suds. From a dry clean wash cloth?? What did they wash it in that would make suds just from getting it wet? A child had left stickers on the wall that housekeeping failed to remove. I kept a chair propped up against my door at night because the gap between the door frame and the door was very noticeable. Housekeeping has never bothered to vaccuum or shampoo the hallway carpets and it shows. Check in clerk stopped in the middle of checking us in to go yell at two little boys that were running around, I think they were hers or her friends. There were children laying outside on the porch on their phones and the adults just hanging out around the front door. When I got to my room I called out once I opened the door because the room smelled like an old man’s pipe and I thought someone was already occupying the room. Needless to say, this is my last visit to this motel!

It’s one of the very few motels that allows pets without fees. It has a kitchenette unlike many places that only offer microwave and a little fridge. It’s secure and safe. Plenty of parking. Property was not staffed when I checked in. Employees were literally walking out. Fire Department was called by a guest who couldn't get into his room because the front desk was closed. He pulled the Fire alarm at 4 am in the morning.

Starting from check-in. as we pulled into the property, we saw so many people just hanging around the front door. But not only hanging around. They were also smoking weed. After checking in, we go to the elevator and it felt like a hot box now we are on our floor which is the second floor , and it’s even hotter. The carpets are dirty and they have not been vacuumed at all our entire stay. The only good thing about our checking was the nice cool room we had. The beds only had a fitted sheet and a flat sheet. There was no comforter or blanket. The bathroom had the towel hanger bar on the floor, where it had broken off prior to our stay and no one fixed it. I will never return to this property and nor will I ever recommend.

The hallways were musty and humid and some of the other guests made me quite uncomfortable. It was good enough for the weekend, but knowing what i know now, i would not recommend staying here.

Despite booking a nonsmoking room they put me in a smoking room, which I could not stay in due to medical conditions. I was told if I kept the room for the first night they would put me in a nonsmoking room the next day (I had to stay elsewhere despite paying because I wanted to be at the same hotel as my family) the next day came and they didn’t have a nonsmoking room. My parents also booked a kings size bed and they only got a queen size room. This hotel does not honor what you book! I could gladly provide pictures of the pubic hairs in the sink, ashy hand prints on the shower wall, paint peeling cigarette butts in the hall, etc. most disgusting place I have ever been. I highly recommend the hotel across the street!

The box springs looked like a dog had chewed it on the corner and it and the mattress were dirty. The TV was not connected properly. Not enough wash clothes. No mattress cover. The n a roach ran across the floor. The only good thing I can say is the manager and staff wanted to fix the issues but they were unfixable.

Couldn't get my room on the account that the front desk was closed. On the website it says that the front desk is open 24/7, according to the security guard the desk closes at 9-10pm. So not only is there false information but I basically got scammed of my money. Had to find somewhere else to sleep for the night despite coming off a 15 hour trip.

I dont usually leave reviews. But the only good thing woth this place is the staff. They were very nice and helped with anything. I stay in hotels all over woth work. Usually economical ones. But this was the nastiest hotel i have stayed in years. Roaches, bags of food in the hall, dirty towels, the carpet was so bad i t cant be cleaned only burned. If you read this and stay there you get what you deserve.

That Motel 6 was the most dirtiest and disgusting place I have ever went to. I chk in for 3 night couldn't even spend 1 there. If the smell doesn't get you the overwhelming amount dirt will. STAY AWAY!!!! ALOT OF ROACHES I hace pics and Videos which wont let me upload.

The cleanliness of this facility is subpar and the service provided by their staff is even worse. At first, the motel didn’t have my reservation listed. I booked 3 days in advance. Since they didn’t have the reservation, there were no king beds available and I had to settle for a queen. My key card deactivated multiple times during my stay and the contact number provided at the desk when the office was closed resulted in no answer. When the attendant finally arrived and I informed her that the phone didn’t work, she did not seem surprised. There was no sense of urgency to address my concerns and no rectification for my inconvenience.

The room was clean, but the hallway needed to be vacuumed. The lobby smelled of marijuana.

For one it's carpet is so dirty,no towels no fire alarm staff changes every other day,never received house keeping,it was a blood bath fight right next store no one clean it manger never around police always here , staff drinking on the job ,I should be considered some of money back .

This would be a great hotel if their carpets in the halls weren’t stained with trash on the floor. The door to my room was off and I had to push up the handle for it to open. Other issues: First room had the curtains down with rod and incessant beeping of smoke alarm. Second room the TV was on and had to go down to get a remote which didn’t work. Found a roach on the bed, the king sized bed was actually 2 double beds on top of the box springs, not enough towels, no coffee or coffee pot, no breakfast or I wasn’t told about it, no phone in room, Wooden floor in the room was dirty. The showers hot water was tepid at best, no one to help you after 11pm. I did have free wifi, the air conditioner worked and sufficient amount of electrical outlets. One light had no light bulb. Staff was nice.

We had no blankets, no toiletries, no toilet paper, broken bed frame and small roaches. There was coloring on the walls and smelled like old chicken grease.

Horrible never again and they sent me a refund but I can’t get in contact with Expedia horrible experience all way around.

I should’ve taken a photo, but was exhausted. I was just traveling and I woke up and bugs scattered. No more motel six for me.
