    Not to mention the towels were disgusting, the floor had multiple stains, and they charged for parking even though this isn’t a downtown area nor near an airport. Stay somewhere else because this is the worse Marriott experience I’ve ever dealt with.

    breakfast exceeded my expectation, room was in excellent condition, location was great for moving around town. I will definitely come back. My son and I enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the entire staff. Great job! There was not anything that I did not like. I wish that I could have stayed longer. This does not apply to my stay. Everything was very likeable. I will visit again. Great staff and great location to travel throughout.

    I can’t say what I didn’t like but I can say everything else was excellent love the staff they were so friendly helpful with information always with a pleasant smile and attitude very good I definitely will recommend and definitely will be back at this hotel only God bless all!

    The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was closed. Breakfast during the week was very disappointing (only oat milk for coffee, only turkey sausage, no waffles). But Saturday and Sunday the breakfast buffet was very well stacked.

    The staff members are very friendly, and the room was clean. However, it definitely looks dated and is in need of renovation. At breakfast, they need more staff and should make some changes to the setup to make it more efficient—specifically so that guests don't have to wait so long just to make a waffle.

    The front desk staff was amazing, I can't remember his name, but he had long hair. He was very inviting, friendly, professional, and provided answers to all of my questions. I appreciated the snacks and breakfast provided. I appreciate them accepting my request for a high floor and room change request. The room was not as clean as I expected. The tub had stains and was chipped. The wall paper close to the floor was warped, all the metal in the bathroom was rusted, the carpet didn't seem clean, there were crumbs on the desk, the closet door was broken and there is no fan in the bathroom and there were small holes in the wall where maybe hooks were

    The location was very convenient for the event I came to town for. The location also wasn't too far from several food options and stores. no visible signage at one driveway entrance which caused me to drive past the location a few times but not a big deal breaker

    I took a live bug to them in a cup and we got bit. My wife got it way worse. We shortened our stay to get away from there. The hotel nor the company that handles there issues (Sedgwick) has done nothing. They won’t even acknowledged it was a bed bug. So I take them a live bug, send them pictures of the other bugs found in the room, send pics of the bite marks on our body, and all they did was send a letter saying they don’t accept responsibility. Supposedly they called pest control but we haven’t seen any proof of that either. I already called the health department. Please read the reviews before going. We made that mistake since it was an impromptu trip, but the same room we stayed in (308) has reviews from months ago mentioning bed bugs. I wish I would’ve known. Hopefully I can prevent someone from having the experience we did. Bookers beware!

    Clean, well-maintained hotel with a great location close to shopping and restaurants. Minor construction was present but not disruptive. Breakfast had plenty of good options, and the complimentary water, cookies, and snacks were a nice touch. The front desk team was especially friendly and helpful.

    Location, bed and breakfast On May 4th 2026, I entered the bathroom in my room, 424, and a ceiling tile fell and hit me on top of my head. I was offered 25,000 points that equals to a free stay and I accepted. I attempted to see if the appoints were active on my account on May 7th 2026 and the account I was looking at showed no activity. On this same day, @ approximately 8:45am EST, I went back to the property to inquire about the 25,000 points and the front desk manager advised me after pulling up my information that the account I was logged into on the app was not the same account they have in the system. She was able to give me my member number but did not want to help me with updating my email, phone number or even tell me if the points were added. She told me it takes 2 weeks for the points to appear and I asked her if she could verify that the points have been added and she said no because she would have to log into another system to see and told me, again, to call Marriott. She kept telling me not to come to the property if I have an issue and to call. But the incident happened at the property and I should be getting all the help I need because I could’ve sued Marriott. Still can if this matter is not resolved asap.

    I ask 2 weeks before l checked in for my room to be cleaned real good due to my 15 yr old great grandson having alot of allergies. When we checked in there was a medium trashcan under the kitchen sink running over with trash that had smelly fish and shrimp and a half gallon milk carton with sour milk. Plus the refrigerator didn't cool til 2nd day. I had to clean the bathtub. Sofa pillow was ripped open.

    The staff is absolutely friendly but the scent from the rooms was horrible. The pool was closed even though it’s indoors. Breakfast was repeated and lacked options. We request air fresheners to spray our rooms and they said none was available, next time I’ll request for them to spray the room. The scent was that of a locked and neglected building and the smell of urine lingered from behind the sofa. The hallway smelled as if something died and they tried to clean it but the scent held on for dear life. Vacuuming the carpets with scent booster powder might have helped. The positives: the staff was super friendly.

    Was just an OK stay! PROS: The two guys and one lady manager on the evenings shift were fantastic, we need more people like them (I forgot to get their names). CONS: Received bad vibes from the attendant in the breakfast time (wasn't very polite), the bathroom toilet paper roll was on the wall far from the toilet (my wife is short and she had to stand up to get toilet paper and sit back down) and there is no lighting in the bathroom for us nighttime bathroom users, had to turn the light on to be blinded so the next day I went out and bought a nightlight and extension cord to use for the next two nights! Overall, it wasn't bad just a few cons at least!

    Our room had a cracked sink that was cemented back together. It rained while we were there and it started leaking water into our room through the windows. We set a cup on the window seal to catch the water. We did notify the hotel of the issue and a staff member was sent immediately. Unfortunately he couldn't do anything and it finally stopped raining. We had to fight the room door at times to get into the room.

    The tv in room is very finicky. the couch and bed are both very comfortable, bathroom clean, however that is where I found 2 extra "uninvited guests" running around in the tub. (roaches). I immediatley packed up my belongings and took to the car and made numerous trips out there to retrieve only what was needed. Front desk staff, especially Devin and Hailey, were very friendly and helpful. Went above and beyond to ensure I was staisfied and didn't have any concerns. The ladies cleaning rooms were very friendly and willing to accomodate with anything I may have needed. The battery to the key card mechanism to my door ended up dying and even the maid could not get it open. Luckily my guest was in the room asleep and woke up to let me in. Maintenance was there to fix rather quickly. I would stay here again. If they do some pest control first. Cannot speak about the amenities as the pool and hotub were still closed. did not use anything else

    I did travel for vacation and choose this expensive hotel but to my surprise it was disappointing,I even have to change my room because I thought it could make a difference but same breakfast was terrible, staff were very friendly and welcome, nice people, but I recommend you try it for yourself, but I will never go back again

    Helpful staff, especially upon check in, and the breakfast lady that helped me so much on February 13th, my birthday, I just missed breakfast and she just started to clean up,but allowed me to make my husband and I a plate, she was so kind and very polite and professional. The morning front desk staff was not very attentive, she was back in the office while I proceeded to wait at the front desk for approximately 5 minutes, but she was able to help the delivery driver at the side door to make his delivery behind the desk? I'm not so sure what she was so busy doing? The breakfast attendant had to get her attention, all I needed was a room key that worked, and then she didn't even ask me to verify my info before handing me a key to my room, I could've went to any room, not a safe practice in this area especially.

    Ample parking and proximity to shopping areas. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful The room wasn’t clean, there were stains on the carpet, hair on the walls, the hvac made a loud noise and sounded like it was dying so much so that i checked out at 1 in the morning cause i couldn’t sleep . The couch was stained as well and sagging like it was over 50 years old bringing down the overall look of the room

    During initial check-in on 01/08/2026 we were advised that the hotel did not have hot water which was concerning. Upon unpacking and settling in, we found out that the room's air conditioner did not work nor did the in room land line telephone work. I asked if we could be placed in another room due to the non-working air conditioner and we were given key cards to the room next door but we were somewhat surprised that no help was offered in regard to helping us move to the next room. Were we wrong to expect someone from the hotel staff to assist us in moving our unpacked items from room to room (we are senior citizens)? Additionally, the shower curtain liner in the 2nd room was filthy and my wife spoke to the front desk about the shower curtain liner and she was advised that it would be replaced but it was never was replaced during our stay. Over-all though, the staff were very friendly and helpful since this was our first time traveling with a pet (our puppy Max) but, since this was our 2nd bad experience with the Marriott brand in the Hampton Roads area, I will probably cash in my Marriott rewards points and use the Hilton brand during our next travels

    We are asking for refund from hotels.com because the hotel said it was a 3 rd party booking. When we got to the hotel the hot water heater was broken and there was no hot water. The hotel desk clerk said it should be fixed in two hours and if not then by in the morning. So I went ahead and checked in. The hot water did not come on. We had no hot water and we checked out cause it was very inconvenient cause we had to get ready for a funeral.

    The hotel was ok - nothing stood out to make it a wow factor. Staff was friendly enough, a couple of things in our room that could use updating or tightening, but not enough to warrant a call to the front desk.     The young lady who checked us in was amazing. She was super sweet and took her time and made sure I had all the information. She even made a special point to give my grandson a cookie and brownie. She was the bright spot of my stay.

    Menu was fine, time could've been longer. However, I was concerned because none of the side doors were ever locked.The sign says you must use your key for entry.But the doors remained unlocked at all times, twenty four hours/day. Criminals would have easy access.

    I would say it was ok. Room was a little worn. TV in room was small & on the older side of things. Breakfast was lacking some usual options. Only one key per room and the side doors weren't working at any time using the key.

    The lobby was very dark, even during breakfast service, which made it feel more like a budget motel than a Marriott. My room had peeling paint on the walls, stained and worn carpet, a stained bathtub, and broken bodywash/shampoo dispensers ripped from the wall. The overall cleanliness felt lacking, and the low lighting throughout the property only added to the dingy atmosphere. For the price and the Marriott name, I expected much better.     Please upgrade! The ceramic on the sink was broken in multiple places. The bread spreads were frayed, and lotion from the previous guest was left in the bed under the covers. Did you actually clean the room and change the linen? It’s way too dark in your lobby and in the food area. Thanks but I won’t be coming back.

    The firm alarm went off in the middle of the night. Told it was a false alarm and the fire company was on its way. It took nearly 30 minutes for the fire company to arrive and turn off the alarm. The alarm went off a second time and was eventually shut off. The lack of importance and responsiveness of the hotel and the fire department was concerning. No apology - just a how did you enjoy your stay. Seriously!!!!

    The property was decent and I had relatively small issues. The bed was so soft you would sink into it, as if the entire mattress was memory foam. Our rooms tub would not drain well, so during a shower you end up with a pool around your ankles. The shower head spun the entire piping behind it when trying to adjust. I am a waffle lover and specifically chose this hotel because I could see waffle makers on the counter in the property photos. The gentleman over breakfast told me that they are available only during the week, as he doesn’t have time to set them up as he is alone on weekends.

This was very frustrating because if you can't trust the General Manager, who can you trust? I will never stay here again and will make sure to pass the word to stay away from this hotel.

When my mother woke up in the morning the mattress pad had come off the corner of the bed and my mom realized her face was directly on the mattress ON A BLOODY HANDPRINT! Dried blood, clear as day! It was so completely unsanitary! A complete biohazard! When I went down to customer service to complain she just looked at me with complete disinterest. No apology, no offer for anything! I told her I needed to get a refund or recompensated for the allowing guests to sleep in bloody beds. And she took my Marriot Bonvoy number claiming to be giving me points? Nothing, no points days later. No apologies.. this place is sickening!!! Do not stay here, and whatever you do, do not stay in room 259.

    The hotel was so noisy. It wasn't noisy because of people. 1. The ice machine made a lotbof noise, 2. The air conditioner in our room sounded like a truck all night long, 3. The elevator, which inly ine was working was hot with not ventilation and not air flow.

    Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in a Hotel. It was filthy, elevator not working, trash cans overflowing, dirty mop water in the lobby, no air conditioning in the common areas. Staff was incredibly rude and I will never stay in a Marriot hotel again. I will also post on social media so others will know not to stay in that disgusting hotel.

    Usually my stay at this hotel is great but this time we got a room when we initially got there, the TV wouldn’t come on, everything else looked great. Since the TV wasn’t working, my husband called the front desk to let them know so we were given another room whereas this room had a torn sofa and much smaller television but we stayed put because we didn’t want to change rooms again.

I will never go back to this hotel. The room was not fresh and smelled stale as well the refrigerator was left dirty with red juice stained and dripping out the fridge

    We arrived at 10:30 at night two of the workers had walked out to smoke a cigarette as we were walking in. We stood for a while and one of them came in apologized that she didn’t know we hadn’t already checked in. We had booked a two night stay as we were there for a college visit. My daughter on the day of the visit had gotten sick and so we spent several hours in a hospital waiting to be seen. When we were finally released we decided it be better to go ahead and head home instead of staying in the room. We arrived at 3:06 and I asked if we could not be charged for a second night cause she was sick and we were heading home which is a four hour drive. The woman looked at us and said no I’m not supposed to do that. Zero empathy or compassion— I didn’t fight it I was more worried about my child. I went upstairs to get our items; the cleaning crew had just started on our floor so it wasn’t as though it was too late to clean the room or anything. Oh and breakfast that morning at 7:30 was almost gone and the bread was hard and eggs were cold there were zero potatoes available.

    The staff was amazing!!! The food was very limited for breakfast. My biggest concern was the entire parking lot iced over. Very unsafe and my mom is elderly, walks with a cane.

    Location is a little older but I feel the rates are aligned with the condition of the facilities. Rooms are large, very comfortable. The hot breakfast was a great start to the day. Parking lot was well lit. Nothing was super fancy but it was a great stay in a suite for the price. Quiet too..even on New Years Eve

    The AC Unit did not work. No matter how low we adjusted the thermostat, the temperature wouldn't go lower than the upper 70s, which is hot!! This made sleeping a challenge and was very uncomfortable; it is the main reason for the poor rating. We reported the issue at the front desk and was told they would have it looked at while we were out for the day, we took comfort in that promise. There was no follow-up, even after asking about it a second time. That really made our stay awful. The only silver lining was the provided Breakfast every morning. This was a great, useful service. I'll have to see if we would try this place out a second time, it could have just been a bad weekend.
