Very nice hotel, the breakfast, particularly the omelets were delicious. Room was nice, only minor issues. The bathroom was showing rust on the exhaust fan and the bathroom ceiling had what looked like little water damage paint bubbles. Overall, great hotel with plenty of amenities and great location with plenty of restaurants.

I love my stay

I hate I couldn’t be accommodated for the day that was missed on the reservation. My husband has stage 3 cancer and was not able to travel the first night of the reservation. The buffet was horrible. The bacon was hard. It cracked in your mouth like cracklings. Potatoes were cold and stale. Eggs let’s not mention. The main reason for the stay was for the breakfast and it was so disappointing. My experience wasn’t a good one. Let me mention the extremely loud sex that was going on next door that kept me up the whole night. I was pleased at all with my stay.

Located directly across the street from Hampton Coliseum and 2 blocks from the freeway, Embassy Suites Hampton Coliseum is in a great location. The room cost may appear a bit high, but parking is include, an excellent buffet breakfast included, and nightly happy hour also included. The suites are spacious and very comfortable. Embassy Suites is an excellent choice for any stay.

All of the staff especially the house Mann on the 10th floor were exceptional. I requested a few things and they got them to us promptly, we really enjoyed our experience here and we hope to return again soon!!

I loved my room.Breakfast was great and fulfilling. My only complaint was the lack of towels ...and when the employee brought out new towels,security accused him of trying to steal one towel when he nor the 3 grandkids didn't have a towel at all. Their ages ranged from 2,4 & 10 months. Needless to say they were quite wet going into the elevator! Everything else exceeded our expectations!

I liked having the option of the daily happy hour and the free breakfast was great! The room was large and comfortable and the customer service was amazing. We got locked out of our room for about 20 minutes. The battery for the keypad went bad. Not the hotel's fault but ongoing maintenance to proactively change batteries so guests are not locked out. That's not a good feeling and then to have to make trips back to the front desk for assistance. You want to get to your belongings and use the facilities that you pay for immediately without interruption. It causes unnecessary anxiety.

Toilet leaked all night for straight three nights. It was terrible, I couldn’t sleep properly. This was not expected from Hilton. We called front desk and I went downstairs twice to tell them, they even arranged maintenance the next day but no one came for the entire stay and we were stuck with noisy situation. This hotel needs better management.

It was a a nice stay! There were some nice people staying there as well as some of the staff were excellent. The security guard on night shift was very nice to my family and I. I would recommend this place if you’re in Hampton Virginia

1 the bathroom was not very clean looks like dried up blood don't feel comfortable taking a shower. And when we wrote the people and told them that it was like that in the bathroom, nobody got back with us.

I had a great stay at the Embassy Hotel while in town for my graduation from Hampton University. My ceremony was held right across the street at Hampton Coliseum, which made the location extremely convenient. Parking was also very easy, which took a lot of stress out of a busy graduation weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the general areas of the hotel were also very clean and maintained. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again

The toilet didn’t work. The technician came up and fixed it, but when he left he lifted the plunger in a bucket over the bed and personal items. Unacceptable!!!! The toilet tissue and towels ran out, and we called but never got any assistance. Turn down service was not offered so the trash was running over. The remote in the living room wasn’t working properly, so they had to come and replace it. Not a good stay.

I was very disappointed with my stay, especially considering I paid over $300. The environment was extremely loud, the bathtub was clogged and drained very slowly, and there were no towels available after using the pool. The pool itself was nice, but that was one of the few positives. We also had to pay extra for parking, which made the experience even more frustrating. On top of that, we never even got the chance to try the breakfast because security accused us of smoking and removed us from the hotel. Overall, this was a very poor experience and not worth the money at all.

Everything was okay up until it was time to check out. Apparently there was an active threat and we had to all get up and go outside. It was very cold and I had just got out of the pool right before getting ready to check out and I feel that if they had better security that may not have happened. Not sure if I would stay there again for my own safety

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. I was traveling by myself and the room was very large and allowed me to have plenty of room. The hotel was centrally located for where I was going and had many meal options outside of the hotel. The (free) breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area.

Check-out was at noon, but beginning 10:30 we had 3 people come to our room. Two didn't knock (I'm assuming because they thought we were already gone).

Very close to coliseum, food, and shops. our room didn’t seem to be cleaned thoroughly as there were chips near the desk in the bedroom and it was still items in the fridge from the previous person’s stay. i book ES all the time on my travels and breakfast is always great, but this breakfast was cold and greasy and some items hard b/c they had been sittin there awhile

The room was not clean. There was urine all over the outside of the shower curtain, a puddle of dried urine behind the toilet on the floor. The baseboards were caked in dust and dirt. A pillow had a large dried booger on it. The floor of the bedroom had not been vacuumed as it had sprinkles and other various crumbs. The table in our room had spilled food dried on to it. The duvet cover was covered in someones make up. I took photos of everything and plan on posting them with a review. I wound up buying cleaning products to make the room somewhat sanitary. I am disappointed at the amount of money that I was charged to stay in a room that was disgusting.

The room smelled from cigarette smoke. We called the front desk and someone was sent up but they said nothing could be done to improve the smell. They said they’d bring g up an air freshener, but no one came up. There were no other rooms available, so we were unable to switch. Horrible stay and they had the nerve to still charge us for a pet stay.

The room was cleaned and the staff was great. Kids running through the halls atleast up until around 11pm. The reception area from 5pm to 630pm was wack. 1 bartender who was also the cook. Bethany was great. They ran out of most of reception stuff but atleast i got 1 drink.

2nd: Our toilet overflowed first thing Friday a.m. and made our carpet wet. While he fixed it immediately, the carpet was not dried (resulting in several wet socks) and we had to call again Friday night as the toilet then did not flush without some repair.

The room was clean. In general the facility is well maintained. All the staff was very helpful and warm. The standout is the manager CeeCee. I am not sure if the correct spelling of her name. But, she is everything that hospitality stands for. I plan on calling corporate to sing her praises! Embassy Suites is the product we usually stay at in Ft. Lauderdale for a cruise. It seems like the culture is chain wide. I absolutely enjoyed staying here. We will be back!

I wasn’t really satisfied or happy with my stay here. On the first night of the trip we were woken up at 3:30am to our neighbor blasting music and when we tried to call the front desk we got no response or call back. And then when we tried to reach the front desk on the app we got no response. In the morning they were still playing music and smoking weed. When we talked to the front desk and the said they knew the people and didn’t seem like they were going to do anything about it. We did get a new room which was nice but it left a bad taste in my mouth

The room was ok. The bathroom floor was not very clean. I did have the hotel staff come in to mop it. Additionally, it had an unpleasant smell like dirty carpet.

Everything qas absolutely amazing except for one person who was working there. As i went to get breakfast, we walked towards eachother and i said excuse me so i could get past. He responded with telling me to move very rudely. Other than that, it was phenomenal.

The Checking in process with Tracy was efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable. However the toilet was extremely low. The breakfast order line was extremely long and slow. Therefore opted for the buffet selections. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

I i was in the breakfast line. Some lady came up to me and asked me out of the line, only to ask if i was a resident of the hotel, she asked me, Did I belong in there,then asked if i was staying there.

The food was sub par - breakfast eggs were always cold - if you weren’t getting the omelette. The rest of the food was very bland and not hot. The room I had 330 - was huge and beautiful super clean sans a couple kid toys hidden behind the curtain. The rest of the hotel was gross. Broken lights not working, tiles in the elevators cracked or missing, dust on all the live plants with a lot needing water. The decoration is from the 80’s and 90s. Cigarette butts everywhere just outside the entrance. I never had my room cleaned even though I was there for 3 nights. That was ok but still….i spoke to the front desk but nothing was done about it. The price was very very good so I guess I got what I paid for. Highly suggest you request a corner room - super quiet and large. Pros: price and room and especially the amazing friendly customer service Cons: dirty, dusty outdated decor.

The room was fine. The cleanliness was good. The staff was helpful. The problem was the noise. There seemed to be some kind of event the first night we stayed and people partied in their rooms until 3-4 am. We could not sleep. The rooms are not at all sound proofed. The second problem was the second evening when we came back to our rooms we’d been locked out. We thought okay no problem we’ll go to the lobby and get new keys. As it turns out one of the night shift people changed our reservation to “no call no show” and canceled our reservation entirely. Thankfully the person we worked with fixed it and let us into our room. And thankfully all our stuff was still there. The noise was still bad the second night but it was at least better. The breakfast was lackluster unless you were getting an omelette. The elevators hadn’t been inspected since 2022 so maybe don’t use the elevators there.

The room curtains were falling off window in seating area, and bedroom. Mattress was horrible, middle sunk in. Noise and guests were unruly. Breakfast was not like it use to be. Evening staff was not helpful. Just run down for Hampton, Va.

This hotel needs a complete makeover. Toilet overflowed twice, shower stopped up each time. Shower is only big enough for one adult, dont try to squeeze 2 people in it. Breakfast was cold every morning, food was horrendous, wouldn't feed it to a homeless person. Pot smell in the evelators and halls daily. On a scale from 1-10 I'll give it a 1.5. Highly disappointed, and I'll never go back!

Want wowed by the room. The sofa was very uncomfortable like sitting on a board. Room was small. Hotel wasn’t very well light. Staff was very nice. They took extra precautions to make our omelette gluten free by making in their own pan and brought us potatoes and bacon from the back.

Great breakfast. Breakfast, happy hour, and overall hotel staff is excellent! Room is a good size and comfortable. Beds are advertised as queen, but more of a full size. Shower curtains are too short for the tub so be mindful of water getting on the floor for safety. Very convenient to local events and shopping.

The hotel was dirty. The hotel stinks of weed. The guest staying at this hotel were very low brow. The managers reception was a joke… well cocktails served with stale walnuts, goldfish, and old cheese. The included breakfast was all a variety of cold hash browns, cold bacon and sausage & the omelet bar was the worst! The omelet bar staff was very rude! The Cypress Grill was never open forcing us to leave the property to eat. The pro was the provided free pure life water and they are dog friendly. Overall very disappointed this property has gone way down!

The hotel is great. The check in process was a bit long slide to a major concert at the coliseum across the street but that’s understandable. I was offered water bottles in a cute bag and I got to spin the wheel. The staff was very nice. The continental break was ok. They did have a fresh omelette station but the line was long. The room was great. Very modern. Very spacious. My issue is the random hairs on counters and the ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. They need to find a better way. I would most definitely return for every event I attend at the coliseum.

Hotel is in disrepair. Broken tiles in every elevator. Poor paint jobs. Dingy carpets. We refused to walk around the room without socks on. Not sure if Embassy Suites has fallen back to the average or if it’s just this location. Had to pay for parking. Nothing stood out here as more than an average hotel, besides the high price. Considering their prices, an Air BNB is a much better option. I’m thinking we are done with Embassy Suites. Terrible value.

Unfortunately, our stay did not fully meet expectations. Our room lacked basic amenities such as shampoo and lotion. In addition, our breakfast experience was disappointing. The staff preparing omelettes and avocado toast were unfriendly and seemed to treat guests inconsistently.

Great location for Hampton University. Food options are great. Only issue is the beds and pillows are too soft.

Breakfast the first day was acceptable. 2nd day was horrendous. I arrived at 8:40 and there was nothing but crumbs for bacon and the eggs and potatoes were cold. I didn’t even eat them. The coffee cups were ALL dirty. Every single one. After requests from multiple people they finally brought paper cups.

The property has a nice view and location. The area is unique for shopping and view. There are nearby places to eat and places to by gas and amenities. I didn't like the bathroom shower we had in our room, it was slow draining and we had to stand in ankle deep water while taking a shower. On the first day the water would only get to warm but on the next day was better, but still standing in ankle deep water.

Additionally, my digital key showed a different room number than the one I was actually assigned at check-in. After spending several hours outside the hotel, we returned to the front desk for a third time, and it was then that we discovered our assigned room had been given to someone else, with our belongings still inside. We were escorted to retrieve our things from that room. We also had to return a fourth time to remove our credit card for accidental charges from the wrong room. It was a complete headache to deal with.

We were very disappointed when we got to our room it wasn’t what we paid for. We paid for a king bed and when we got to the room it was a double. We called to the front desk and they told us we would have to do because they didn’t have any King beds available. We told them we would leave and find another hotel that meet our requirements. The night manager was called and within 10 minutes we were given a king room with a suit that was awesome.

The staff was extremely accomadating and kind especially the ladies working the floor at breakfast, Helena and the Jamaican lady. Blessing at the front desk took great care of us. The breakfast was way more than I expected, very large. The only "complaints" I have which really are not a big deal, there were no flavored coffee creamers, the pool was not heated and I did not realize parking was not free. The hotel was clean, very beautifully decorated with plants and the room was very large and cozy. I would definitely stay again. I feel the cost was a great value.

I stayed here with my kids (6,8) and my mother to visit the Air and Space Museum and aquarium in VA Beach. The staff were super friendly, room was comfortable. The breakfast was perfectly adequate, the staff worked hard to keep items replenished and fresh, and they bused tables quickly. Our room was missing coffee cups, but with breakfast, we never needed them. We called down for more towels, and they came quickly. The pool was very crowded and loud, but to be expected at a hotel that is appealing to families with kids--myself included. Overall, great stay, no complaints, and would stay again.

This property is in desperate need of an entire gut renovation. I literally could not take a shower for the entire five days stay. I had to take my showers at a waterpark because the water was trickling like an eyedropper. I called the desk and nobody ever showed up. Also, I was traveling with three adults in a tw two room suite and I required some additional blankets and pillows, which I called down for and waited over an hour with no response, I then went and retrieved them myself. The elevators are in terrible, disrepair broken tile on the floor pieces hanging from the doors when they open and close. The carpeting on the main floor is stained and looks like it was installed to film the 1970s porno film. The entrance door was very tight, as well as the sliding bathroom door, which could not be budged and had to remain open the entire trip. Other than that, this place is great…

Wonderful staff, excellent breakfast buffet, nice big rooms, super comfortable. The only bad review i would give is one evwning we had dinner in the hotel and had to wait an hour to be served because they had only one server and cook. I think additional staff should be hired for busy times. Otherwise an excellent stay and we will be back.

I'm always impressed by the pleasant and outgoing service provided by all of the staff at this Hampton Embassy Suites location. Unfortunately, for this visit, a random fure alarm early in the morning caused great concerns for whether or not the hotel actually had an emergency evacuated plan as several seniors were trying to rush down cramped stairwells with no assistance and when we reached the bottom floor, no information was freely pff

Was in town for the Hampton Jazz fest. Great location, just wish we had more time to wnjoy the hotel.

We arrived at 4 PM and our room was not ready although the check in time was 4 PM. They stated that they would call us when our room was ready. 2 1/2 hours went by still no phone call so we went to check on our room and it was ready however we received no phone call. They shut the pool down because they don’t wanna deal with drying the floors. Also there is no noise curfew so at 1 o’clock in the morning it is very loud in the atrium and there is a lack of leadership.

Embassy NEVER Disappoints me... A True Class Act

We stayed for 3 nights to extend our trip. We enjoyed having a suite to give us extra space. The room met our expectations. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk worker was very welcoming and I received texts throughout my stay checking on us to see if we needed anything. The breakfast bar was good, but wasn’t well stocked on the first day. They seemed to be under staffed and had trouble keeping up with the demand. The second day was better. I do wish they served breakfast a little longer. It is open 6-9. Our granddaughters didn’t enjoy getting up that early. I don’t think you can beat the price and convenience of this hotel, though. I would definitely stay again.

The room was good and the stay was great. The breakfast was amazing. The room looks like it had a leak long back. The roof has the water marking. The bathroom door was told hard to lock or open. Other than that, the stay was very pleasant.

Food/beverage was average. The staff were mostly excellent with a couple of exceptions. My room was not as described and didn’t match what I booked.

A great place to stay I will definitely come again. This is my third time there just a couple of things they need to improve had a hard time turning the TV on with the remote control had to manually turn the TV on and the refrigerator was leaking. I called the desk. They broke someone out immediately and they said the defroster was on, but that wasn’t the case it continued to leak the room was excellent other than that I will definitely come again like I said.

A lot that’s has change since new management. Breakfast was ok, couldn’t hve outside food or drink in the lobby. We had a lot of people with us so it was hard to all eat in one room together. A little loud at night and paying for parking was a little crazy.

I ended up booking the wrong date. I called Embassy suites directly. They said they could not do anything to help me correct my date because I booked through Expedia. I proceeded to ask the hotel receptionist over the phone. Do they have a telephone number for Expedia. I called the number the reception gave me. It was not Expedia. They sent me to another place that ended up being a scam. I did not stay at Embassy suites July 3. Thought I had booked a room for the fourth with Expedia, but ended up being some kind of company that I have no clue and when I arrived at the hotel, I had no room. I ended up driving back home three hours. If you would like to contact me about this situation, please do.

Nice Hotel

First and foremost why am i charged for parking then an additional $100 for taxes? As much as i paid for the room the parking should be free. Secondly 'wellness' room is a code word for Hilton will be charging you extra for nothing. The only thing that was true about the wellness part was that they equipped the room with a Walmart air purifier that helped drown out noise from the other rooms because it hummed so loudly. They are also extremely tight with bathroom essentials i.e. toilet paper, towels, wash rags, handsoap, etc. The first day we were allotted 3 total towels for the 3 of us. The second day we had to request fresh towels and rags and were given 2. Guess we were to share.

This was the day of Ck out. I talked to management and upon request there I was told the matter was fixed and i complained from day 06/24/25 . Please look into this matter.Calvin Clarke 804(937-3320)

I was here for the Hampton Jazz Feat and the convenience was SPOT ON!!!!!

-the cool setup where every floor’s balcony faces onto the atrium (instead of outward from the building) -the proximity to the highway, food shops, etc -happy hour for adults each day (2 complimentary alcohol beverages) -food was delicious and the staff were always happy to help. However, I do think the property overall needs an uplift. There were some areas in the public spaces that clearly needed some attention and cleaning throughout. Overall I was pleased with my stay and would definitely consider staying again.
