My room was very clean. I have not found any bugs in the room nor is there a harsh smell in the room. The area where the Belmont Inn and Suites is located is very very quiet. The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful. The air conditioner in the room was perfect. I feel very safe staying here alone. This was my second time staying at the Belmont Inn & Suites. I have made arrangements to stay another five days at the Belmont in November. The Belmont Inn & Suites is reasonably priced. There is a clock radio, small refrigerator, flat screen tv and microwave in the room. I only wish they had an ice machine.

Beds were firm, slept like a rock...better than we sleep at home, the front desk called and asked how our room was and if we needed anything shortly after checking in. Our only issue was the ice machine didn't work, the sign said "push hard" we did but no ice. The stay was great and we even stayed an extra night at a discounted price. Just the ice machine didn't work.

The Belmont is the absolute BEST!!! I stay there often, and enjoy the peace and quiet, while the rooms are exceptional & clean!!And the staff is always welcoming and accommodating!!

Wonderful stay here for Thanksgiving! Quite secluded, but not in a shady kind of way. It is right next to the Langley AFB, so there is some noise from there, but the view is nice! Not too far from anywhere you'd need to go in Hampton, either. The owners are very kind and welcoming and always made sure we had what we needed! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Hampton on a bit of a budget. Rooms were old, but clean.

Not much. Bed was decent and bath was clean. Room smelled moldy and never dissipated. Pillows were flat and rock hard. Reception couldn't find my reservation that was already paid.

Roaches bad. Could not sit any type of food on table. Smoke was so bad in there I couldn't breathe. Cigarette burn holes in comforters. Front desk gave me spray instead of moving me to another room. Finally got moved to another room that morning because I told them I just could not breathe in that room. Dark area sketchy even tho its located beside Navy base apartments. Ice machine mildew didn't want that ice. Never staying there again.

Nothing. I have someone entering my room without my permission I have someone that took my vehicle without having my keys after the police reviewed, the cameras, someone was still in my room, hiding underneath my bed. happily, I have one friend that ask to spend the night.

It was near a military base. The motel was located in a dead end road area. Very quiet while we were there in the evening. I would go back next year and the price was great.

The room was surprisingly clean and nice. Only reason I gave it a 4 was because there was some guys hanging around the property and I had to let the front desk know that wasn’t acceptable, but the staff removed them and it was a peaceful night. Out Tv didn’t work, staff came and fixed it.

The first room assigned to us was full of dead roaches and had no linens. The 2nd room, the beds were extremely hard and impossible to sleep in for both of us. They were like sleeping on plywood boards. The man who checked us in was very friendly and pleasant to talk with.

While it is true the decor is dated and the rooms are older, we stayed for close proximity to the air show at the base and they were so accommodating in hospitable. It was quiet and no one bothered us. Everything worked well.

I have stayed at Belmont Inn and Suites several times when visiting Hampton, Virginia. The area is very quiet and I always get a good nights rest. The rooms are clean and tidy. The shower is hot with good water pressure. The front desk staff has always been helpful and kind.

It was a good stay room was clean ac was cold bed was comfortably. Tv remote didnt work all functions only turned tv on and changed channel no volume control or turning 0ff

When I arrived, the manager was not in the office. A very old lady waited on me and was getting instructions from the manager over the telephone. After registration I asked about internet service and never got it. The room appeared to be clean but later we noticed first the very old and stained mattress and box spring. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room had a very bad smell. We left the room to go out to dinner and other activity and returned late that night maybe some four hours later and prepared to try to get some sleep when I noticed a bug was crawling across the sink. I took a closer look and that bug was a roach. I then proceeded to check the room closely and opened the drawer to the dresser and it had a lot of roaches. I tried to call the front desk and the phone kept going to a busy signal. The office was locked down and no one was on duty. Meanwhile my wife was busy shaking out our cloths and preparing our luggage to exist the building. We had to leave at two o'clock in the morning and head home which was a hundred mile drive. I intend to call the health department on Monday in Hampton Va. to report this business. My advice to people is to avoid this place and Hotels.com need to stop representing this business. I've had a few bad experiences in the pass but never had to deal with a business this horrible. Be aware when a hotel says non refundable. Thats usually the first bad sign.

Great place! Simple, clean, and didn’t smell funny. Had a small fridge, a TV, as well as a small table and chairs. A/C & heat worked well. Nothing fancy, but had everything I needed for a reasonably low price.

The room was comfortable, with a clean bathroom, and an easy to operate, heating/air conditioning unit. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Enjoyed this visit to Hampton, will definitely stay here again in the future.

Very clean and quiet, the rooms were surprisingly spacious and comfy. The managers were very friendly and accommodating, and the property was beautiful. Our room even had a view of the water. It is right next to Langley Air Base, so if air traffic noise bothers you, that may be something to consider, but it honestly never bothered us.

The exterior of the hotel has recently been rennovated, and looks fantastic. That's where the good things end. Upon checking into the hotel, the smell in the lobby is horrendous. There is a plexiglass sheild between you and the desk clerk. The desk clerk - there were two - took ages to respond. Once the main clerk appeared, he was unable to locate my reservation for approximately 10 minutes. After I went to my car to get my phone and the booking email, he finally "found" the reservation. The area, next to the Air Force Base, is actually beautiful. Parking was plentiful and clearly marked. The room was attrocious. It stank of cigarette smoke and old food. Particulate matter churned and spewed out of the A/C Unit. There was grime everywhere. The room was actually hot when I got there, which made the smell worse. The decor of the room is likely 50 years old. The furniture is shoddy, and looks like it came from a thrift store. The Westinghouse TV worked - but it is locked so that you cannot use HDMI or any other port to connect your A/V device or computer. The cable box is locked to the television, and cannot be removed - thank goodness the cable did not malfunction. The room appears to be set up as a flophouse for military personnel, which explains why everything was locked. Despite the openness of the area, the room felt oppressive and prison-like. The A/C unit is ancient - I could not seem to find a comfortable temperature for the room - there was no thermostat on the unit.

The owners are very friendly folks, and they keep a reasonably priced facility that has always been quite clean. The building is getting a bit long in the tooth, and it's not a party venue, but for a business trip on a budget, it's very hard to beat!

On a Saturday night it was very quiet. It’s an old motel style building. Room was clean. It had a working mini frig. No complaints for what it was.

Quiet but the Indian man was trying to charge me $100 for smoking.. I had to explain that I didnr smoke inside the room.. Room 120 a woman was smoking on the steps next to my room I told the owner to tell her to move to another location when smoking her cancer sticks so the smoke wouldnt come inside my room and i get charged for it.. That hotel is to strict and I would pay higher to stay somewhere comfortable with breakfast included not to strick or someone trying to charge more money .. Sad

My wife had a break out of suspected bed bugs. Room smelled a little musty upon arrival. When i notified the location about issue they tried to blame us saying we must have brought them from somewhere else because they "check there rooms"

The hotel is right near the Air Force base off a huge lake which was pretty cool. The area was quiet and we felt safe. The check-in was simple and the front desk guy was very pleasant. The room was pretty decent and spacious. There was a slight odor but I think that was from the heating/cooling unit. There was a gap at the bottom of the door so we put a towel down to keep the cold out. The dresser drawer was dated but clean. We had double beds which were clean and the pillows were comfortable. The tv, microwave and fridge worked good. We did have to use a plunger as the toilet wasn't flushing properly but that fixed the issue quickly. Bathroom was clean. We would recommend this place if you need something quick and inexpensive.

This area seems to be mostly residential and not a lot of businesses in the immediate walking distance.

nice place blankets had some threads coming out and there wasn't a place to plug in a usb (bring your own charging block if you need to charge your phone) the people in charge are very nice. even though i checked out they let me leave me car so that i could carpool. saved me alot of gas its also right next to the military gate so if your here to visit military family this is the closets your going to get to them

Right next to Langley afb...one of the gates. Safe and secure and very quiet. We slept really well. Good beds and pillows. Outdated but exceptionally clean! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I enjoyed the staff and friendliness. The room was incredibly smelly. It smelled like it was old, and it was! Everything that was supposed to be white was beige and the air conditioning unit was cluttered with garbage and crumbs.

This is the second time u have stayed here and i have not been disappointed. For the money paid for it serves its purpose of having some where to stay. Staff is friendly!

Booked a 4 night stay with my best friend & her child. Check in the man was very rude during check in. I did not witness him giving any other customer an attitude. Housekeepers were very rude. We felt uncomfortable our whole trip. Our 3rd night into the room the man randomly asked to check our rooms while we were getting dressed to head out for our day. He never said why he needed to check our room. It’s a family business but it’s not a friendly environment. As a black woman, I am proudly never booking at this hotel ever again. Save your time.

I've stated at the Belmont Inn several times and have always been pleased with the experience. It is an aging facility, but the staff and owner have always done the best they could with what they've got. That said, this was the first time I was put in a room that REALLY needed some updating. At the end of the day, this is an economical business stay and the folks are teffific!

For 1 night this place is fine. But it does have a slight sketchy vibe. The rooms were very clean. The internet didn't work for me and I didn't have good cell service. You definitely get what you pay for.

I have mixed feelings about this place. We got in at 9 p.m., check in was fast. We were upgraded to a suite at the same price, great. A nice size room and the bed, pillows and sheets were clean. The floor was clean. The television sits on a short dresser making it difficult to watch but it's okay. The toilet seat & tub had cigarette burns on it but we were only staying two days so. The hot water in the shower was great not the sinks. The towels and washcloths were great for my skin to exfoliate because they were rough. I advise bringing your own. The microwave had a mind of its own. The plate wasn't clean. Sometimes it would work and it would beep any time while cooking. After cooking it kept beeping. We unplugged it. Love the fact that there was two burner stove there but there is not the first pan, spoon, plate, nothing to use. One burner wasnt sturdy. We were only there for two days and only cooked once so it was okay. But who does that? There is no swimming pool, no free breakfast. There wasn't an ashtray in the room but my husband went down and got one. The second night wasn't the same experience as the first. We realized the floor is unstable. Second night we could hear next door kids running and jumping and banging. This is DANGEROUS. Those floors in room in & around room 233 need to be repaired before there is an accident!

Room smelled horribly of marijuana. The bathtub was dirty. There were hairs in the sheets. The refrigerator in the room was so loud I wasn’t able to sleep. The front desk wasn’t super friendly but mediocre. Overall 3/10 I would not go again.

For the price, it was a good experience. Check-in took a lot longer than expected but the staff very very friendly and helpful. It was clean and cared for but a bit dated.

Clean & Comfortable. That's all I ask for on a business trip.

Overall good, the AC was a big plus, the nonsmoking room did not smell of smoke. The only thing is the beds all had the sinkhole in the middle.

It was affordable and clean. We came a day early and added a night with no problem.

A bare basic hotel. The room was clean, but the walls are thin and there was yelling from other rooms. Not a great neighborhood. Next to Langley Air Force base.

The good things about this motel are that it is located right next door to Langley AFB and in what appears a quiet neighborhood. On the other hand, one has to transact business with a clerk who is behind a bullet-proof window. A bit apprehensive initially? Yes. The room was tidy and clean. but freezing. There was a draft coming through the front door. The heater stayed on all night. The double beds were comfortable enough for a good night's sleep...at a very affordable rate via Expedia. (I called the motel beforehand and he wanted to charge $11 more.) Next door is a Mexican restaurant for a quick or sit-down meal and down the street is a convenient store for snacks or what have you. Overall, okay. You get what you pay for!

Quiet hotel located within a few miles of city center. Immediate area seemed economically depressed with several shuttered businesses, but hotel itself was in good shape and I never felt unsafe there.

It is a very quiet hotel. Although the property is a little "dated", it is very clean. The manager and housekeeper are very friendly and accommodating. Located at the entrance to Langley AFB, but minimal traffic. Great value hotel. Would stay here again.

I feel my room was over priced and got accused of taken there towel.

Although it’s a non smoking hotel, the room smelled of smoke. Also the checkn counter has a thick glass barrier with a small slot for slipping through any artifacts such as credit cards or cash which leads a me to believe the place might not be safe although the surroundings seemed safe. I was with my family so we stayed in another hotel and did not want to risk it. Also, we cannot stay in a room that smells of cigarettes.

While this is definitely an older hotel we found it to be very clean and quiet.

The room was clean, and the staff ess very kind and helpful. The property is outdated, but it has everything you need and is the most reasonably priced hitel we were able to find for the weekend.
