A) the room smelled a little funky B) the shower had extremely low pressure. C) what we didn't notice until we got up to go to breakfast in the morning, was our door didn't latch closed. Even when I pulled it closed, if I pushed on it, it would open without the key card. D) the mini fridge didn't get cold

We’ve stayed in cheaper hotels that were better than this. There was a $50 deposit for any incidentals and then put us in a room with a caved in wall panel and a hole. I took a picture so we wouldn’t get dinged for it. That was the first time we stayed, we went to Savannah for one night and then came back and stayed 2 more nights at this hotel They again charged us another $50 deposit which was taken out bank immediately. Supposedly we will get both back but when is supposedly up to our bank. They also charge a $20 dollar fee for the shuttle to the airport, this may be standard, we haven’t flown in awhile. The second room had only a bar of soap where as the other room had along with bar of soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Also, bring your own hairdryer if possible, the ones they have barely put out any heat or air and took forever to dry my hair and I don’t have much hair. Now to breakfast, it was exactly the same thing the 3 mornings we were there and we were there 2weekdays and 1 weekend day nothing changed. There was not any fresh fruit of any kind, main items were sausage patties, scrambled eggs, waffle maker if it wasn’t busy, 2 choices of yogurt, strawberry and strawberry banana so basically the same, dry muffins and plain Bagel, so overall not very good. This hotel markets itself with the pictures and descriptions as being somewhat of an upscale kinda hotel but it’s not. Like I started with, we have stayed in cheaper hotels that offered a lot more.

This hotel far exceeded what I expected. The room was spacious, the bed comfy, and the entire hotel nice quality. We kinda wished we were staying longer. Just a bit of noise from upstairs. But one needs to expect that when not on the top floor.

I was overcharged, there was mold around the tub and shower. There was rust around the shower curtain fixtures and around the sprinkler in the bathroom. There was a note on the mirror, in the bathroom, that states to reduce water and conserve energy, towels and sheets will be changed every 3 days. If you need fresh towels or sheets contact the front desk or housekeeping. Needless to say, I had to get new items from the front desk because housekeeping never had any when I asked they always referred me to the front desk.

During my entire three-day stay, guests were openly smoking marijuana in and around the hotel. The smell was so strong that it was difficult to breathe in my room. The hotel staff appeared to be aware of the situation but chose to ignore it and took no action. This significantly affected the quality of my stay and left a very negative impression of the hotel.

The price and location were good Staff was indifferent. In the room the curtains were torn, rust in the bathroom and peeling wallpaper. Small but enough to notice not well maintained

The staff were okay, rather detached. The room had torn curtains that looked very shabby, otherwise ok, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were another not great story. The eggs and sausage were cold both days, so was the "hot" water for oatmeal/tea/etc. Not a great way to start your day.

I didn’t get one of the ones rooms o booked. I got 2 rooms which one was supposed to have been 2 queen beds, delux but instead I got a king bed that was supposed to sleep 4 people in the room.

Yeah so it was dirty. Like hair everywhere, hotel sheets were kind of humid-sticky, there were obvious corners on the tile that haven’t been cleaned in awhile. Def 2-star hotel.

As soon as you pull into the parking lot you can tell that this is a very organized clean property. Very clean parking lot. Grass cut all gardening was nice and super presentable. Staff was awesome. Spent like an hour speaking with Josh (manager) and another front desk agent. They were both awesome and super attentive. Rooms and entire hotel very clean. Breakfast was good. Place is well worth the money.

Clean The desk was unhelpful. Given incomplete information and no followup when promised. Had to dress and go back to the desk for an answer. When we tried by the phone, the puck up was "what?". When I paused and said, ", is this the front desk?" they said, "oh, yeah". I was trying to find out about a shuttle to the airport. We finally after two hours of trying to get any information, set up an Uber for morning pick up.

We needed towels for the room, we spoke to the maid about getting more, but she didn’t understand English. Her boss was rightly frustrated (how can you run a business if you cannot communicate with anyone - English please!) but was not pleasant to speak with to let him know the issue.

We went to dinner and when we came back went to the room. Keys did not work so my husband went back down only to find out they had reassigned us to another room. Rohm was larger than most at this price; thoughtfully furnished making good use of the space. Lighting in the room was very dim…No way to read unless you were lying down in bed or sitting in the chair in the corner. The light fixtures were such that you couldn’t even go by a bigger white bulb and install something yourself. Could not get the air-conditioning cold enough at night. It did not budge from the time I entered the room until the time I left 12 hours later.

The place was very clean, the receptionist very kind. The breakfast it wasn't good. Didn't have salt in the place. When you look at the food, you don't feel like eating. The person that was in the kitchen looks like he didn't like his job.

This is the best place for the money. They have made great upgrades through the times with keeping their original flavor like they still have wired internet connections in most rooms and a friendly environment and staff.

Amazing check-in staff and very fast check in!! Super comfy beds. Super clean. Extra linens brought when requested and my room was cleaned very well on day #2 Breakfast was not good. Very few choices and when I asked for salt I was just told no.

No deep soaking tub like advertised ( I turned down a jetted tub because of this). Room didn't smell clean but didn't smell awful either. Traveled from FL just to soak in your deep soaking tub. Only to be disappointed.

The shuttle service is provided, but not complimentary. ($20) There seems to be a miscommunication between the booking.com and the hotel.

Nothing not to like. Clean & comfortable and even my friend that I booked a room for said he loved it. I have nothing to report here.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, air conditioner worked well. The staff was not helpful. The room was not ready at check in and the front desk attendant was rude. I requested extra towels on day one because the towels in the room were wet. No one ever brought any I had to go get my own. Saturday night people were coming in at all hours very loudly and it was disturbing (unsure if that is usual or not).

The staff member at check-in could've been more welcomin. Breakfast could've had more options and the gentlemen overseeing the breakfast should at least wear disposable gloves. Coffee was a bit watered down and many of the creamers had chunks in them. Room servicio was not often enough and the shower curtain wouldn't stay in place. We won't be back.

I was impressed with the comfort of the room at this price point. Hot cookies at Friday night was nice touch.

I liked the location. It didn't take very long to get to the downtown area. There were also quite a few restaurants and shopping options located near the hotel. The shower curtain in the bathroom was worn out and didn't stay in place, causing water to collect on the floor. It definitely needs to be replaced.

The property is not taken care of and several things were broken or missing- no drain in the shower, mismatched curtains, odor in room, etc. The man at the front counter didn’t know what a cot or rollaway bed is.

The location was perfect for our long drive as we made a pit stop to rest. Food was within walking distance . The room carpet needs to be steam cleaned. .

Had advance reservation for handicapped room, but only a stool was added to be put into a tub. No walk-in shower, convenient for a person with mobility issues.. . Took 15 min to check in. Counter person, unsure of most everything related to check-in proceedures and English language... strong aroma of a cleaning soulution was persistent thru out 1st and 2nd floor. However, continental breakfast was good, bed comfortable, hotel was quiet. With the exception of above comments, would stay here again, as a second alternative.

Clean, easy access There were loose red (landscape)rocks near the entrance on the end of the building where we entered. I attempted to walk on them, at which point I fell, injuring my right hand, shoulder, and face. We informed the man at the desk that he may want to get someone to check on those rocks so that no one else falls. He was VERY unapologetic and apathetic to what happened, not even making eye contact. We wouldn’t sue, but there are people who would. We just thought he’d want to tell management.

1) Lack of business office - intolerable that there is no computer with printer available for guest. (They have a computer sitting on a desk in the lobby but it is useless. No printer available to print out documents or emails if you are there for business reasons and also can't print out boarding passes for flights - really no excuse for this shortfall. 2) Requested wake up call each of the two nights there. Called front desk and they said it was set up. Wake up call never came in - had to depend on cell phone alarm. Again, no excuse for lack of this simpler service. 3) Breakfast is OK but both mornings, scrambled eggs were runny and tepid, if not cold. 4) My room was not made up by housekeeping during my stay - another expectation that fell short. 5) For rooms that face the front of the building - sound of trucks on highway at night is anoying. I guess there is not much they can do about that but if you stay there, get room that faces back of building. All in all, the hotel gets about a 2.5 out of 5 at the most. Service an amenities need some real work.

The room that we were in was overlooking the balcony to the first floor. Therefore it was very noisy. Someone was vacuuming right outside our door at 8 PM at night. So I don’t know if they were fixing something out in the hallway, but it was just very loud.

The staff could not locate our room and it took 45 minutes to check in. This after flying all day and arriving after midnight. The man staff member was blaming and continued criticizing the female employee and blaming her for canceling the reservation. It was very unprofessional.

I’m beyond exhausted and no hot water to wash is crazy.

You had to ask to have your room made up everyday with fresh towels and bed made. Otherwise it wasn't done. Breakfast was the same thing everyday. It was alright for the family weekend trip. About what we expected for an "Airport" hotel. Some of the outlets in the room didn't work so we had to move the "power strip" to a more accessible location to be used. But to be honest, all we did was sleep in the room because we were on the go all weekend.

I requested early check in for 11 a.m. and received a notice at 11:45, after I went to the property, that there was no availability. The room smelled very musty. The shower showed excessive rust. I can deal with all of that other than the notification about the no availability on the early check in. That is very annoying. Will not be staying at another Wyndham property.

My reservation on my phone showed I selected two twin beds, but she put us in a King, and when we told her it was suppose to be two queens she gave us nothing but grief, talking down to us like it was our faught and gave us attitude about switching the rooms like the hotel was at capacity, which is was very far from. Her attitude needs a make over. The other front desk people encountered when we stay there are great, she is not.

When we arrived there was no power (no A/C, check-in took awhile because everything was done manually due to the electricity outage. No WIFI. Not the hotel fault though. Cleanliness was fine but the bathtub needed an uplift. The handle if the shower broke and I couldn’t take a shower (i couldn’t stop the water from running). Breakfast was not great.

When we arrived there was no power (no A/C, check-in took awhile because everything was done manually due to the electricity outage. No WIFI. Not the hotel fault though. Cleanliness was fine but the bathtub needed an uplift. The handle if the shower broke and I couldn’t take a shower (i couldn’t stop the water from running). Breakfast was not great.

The place was clean and some of the staff was great, others were not nice at all. The beds were sleepable,but hard. The whole place echoed. Overall it was a loud clean place to sleep

My only disappointment was that I was told I would not receive reward points because I booked through Hotels.com I could have stayed an additional night and earned 7500 points. Not happy with this arrangement at all!

I called the hotel and the person who answered was rude from the start. I explained the situation and was told to call Expedia. I called them and they said they would contact the hotel and get it fixed to the correct dates. When they called they were told by the hotel the system was down and to call back in a hour. Which probably explains why my booking dates were glitched. When they reached back out the hotel had already marked my reservation as a no show and there was nothing they could do to fix it. I lost over 300 because of a system glitch that was out of my control.

This hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. It was also close to shopping and nice restaurants! The only thing a little lacking was the food at breakfast...could use a tad larger selection. But that is a MINOR complaint. We had a fantastic stay!

The customer service was excellent, the area and rooms very clean. I actually felt the 5☆ service. Price was amazing comoare to others around. I was in the area for business. We needed a place to stay before boarding an early morning flight. This hotel was just 7 minutes away from GSP by car. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and parking was effortless. It was also near many restaurants. We will definitely stay here again the next time we fly out of this airport.

Good place and pretty clean. My biggest concern was they had several doors to the halls and lobby that did not require you to have a key to have access including the pool

Front desk called me on the hotel landline at 4:00am for my 11:00am shuttle ride.

Quiet and great seclusion

Really good stay, but this was our second time and the first time last year felt like things were a bit better. This time the room was clean but had a slightly musty scent and last time there were more options for breakfast.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at I go out of town once a month for years now and this is the worst place I’ve ever stayed and in my home town at that I do not recommend

An ok hotel for one night. Bed was fine, pillows were terrible. My draperies been cut on one side with scissors. Strange. And don’t believe the airport shuttle. When I went to sign up for it in the morning, they told me there would be a $20 fee. I caught an uber for $14…

The front desk clerk was super friendly and greatted us with a great smile.

No plug in bathtub. Couldn't take a bath. There was no mention on the website of a $20 fee for airport shuttle. As a matter of fact the shuttle we paid $20 for was going anyway with an airline crew.

I was charged online and hotel could not find it. Then i was charged again.

This is an old property. You can feel that when you use the bathroom / closet door and noise of AC

The rooms were very clean, air conditioning worked wonderfully, but I have 2 issues with the room …there is no fan in bathroom (so annoying) and the room door was difficult to latch. When you are inside the room and toy close the door, you turn the dead bolt to secure the door is closed and latched. When you leave the room you almost need to pull/slam the door closed so it closes and doesn’t reopen…we had to do this several times to make sure the door was actually closed properly. Outside of those two things, everything else was done.

Guy at the desk was super helpful after there was a mix up with booking. Was close to restaurants which made it easy to get a bite to eat after arriving late into town. Clean rooms. Honestly the only issue was the beds were rock hard and uncomfortable as sleeping on a floor.

Convenient location

We had a little confusion on whether or not we had booked a sleeper sofa or not but they brought us a roll out bed. So it worked out. The hotel was clean. The breakfast is basic but good. The mattress was ok. It suited our needs for the weekend and price was cheap. It is close to some amenities which is also nice.

In my opinion, this is a hotel whose primary value is iits proximity to GSP airport. There are also a number of decent restaurants in the area. I have 3 big complaints. The hotel breakfast was meager with little variety. The AC unit in the room was from another era....it was noisy and inefficient. Noisy is probably and understatement. It was either going to blow up or take off. I definitely did not sleep well. Lastly there was no ventilation in the bathroom so the steam from a shower permeated the enitre room. There were a few other issues which are small but these three were big

Things seemed very dirty. Room smelled very misty and had mold in the corner on the wall. Overall just not very clean.

My choice of places to stay in Greenville

Nice and clean

The location made it convenient for me to get to Greenville Memorial Hospital. This is my first travel assignment so I am still learning the ropes. The staff was extremely accommodating to my need extend my stay.

Booked this hotel for the pool and location. The pool was not open. Was offered an early check in and showed up and was denied. Was accused of leaving my trash on the breakfast counter by a staff member. The bathroom room was gross. The remote was covered in crusted something and black stuff. It was very loud at night. Was not offered a turn down on my room and was there for 3 nights.

The staff were friendly and professional. The room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed one night during a road trip. Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable. AC was quiet although there was some noise from guests above on a squeaky floor. BK was good

Breakfast was not very good. They didn't have enough staff for the breakfast time. They kept running out of items. Selection was minimal and quality so-so.

We liked the size of our room. Very spacious. The breakfast was not good. Staff person seemed very frustrated in the breakfast room.

Beds are comfortable and the room was spacious enough. The entryway floor was sticky when we arrived, but they cleaned it after we mentioned it. There was also hair on the towels.

This hotel needs some serious renovations.

Very displeased with my stay at the Wingate. The curtains in the room were torn, half of the outlets did not work, the shower walls were discolored and the shower knob was make shift. When I asked two different staff members to get a new room, they both told me yes and I was never given a new room. The nonchalance was interesting for such a highly rated establishment. Thankfully the room was clean and the shower was hot and strong. I will not stay here again.
