Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was delicious and filling. And I can't speak highly enough of the staff. They were wonderful throughout our stay, answering our questions and helping us navigate breakfast options with some known food allergies. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Stayed here a lot as my son plays football at Furman. Hotel has great beds but outside isn’t as clean and neat as it once was. Also lots of trash in hallways.

What I really love about the property is that it was close to everything, like shopping, food, and even entertainment. My room wasn’t fully cleaned when I first arrived, but I spoke to the assistant manager and the cleaning lady on my hall, and my room was cleaned immediately.

Nice hotel I was double charged I had already paid for the room online and was told I needed to use a card their for damages if any was no problem then realized next day they charged me full price of the stay to my card. Went and spoke to person at the desk said they was reversing it and money would be back on my card next day still haven’t received the money called and talked to the hotel operator and she informed me they never canceled or changed anything so I basically got ripped off 200 dollars extra for hotel room.

Must have been an off day considering the other reviews. Where do I start? When I first walked in both the kitchen and bathroom floors were incredibly sticky. There were a lot of dark hair clippings all over the counter along with a used Q tip. There was a dirty sock beside the couch, there was a used diabetic test strip on the counter of the kitchen and there was a bottle of vitamin drops in the bed! Made into the bed, it couldn’t have been washed. Also the room hadn’t been vacuumed. A very poor experience.

Excellent location, great rooms, and amazing staff. Andrew at the front desk was superb as always! We met him the first time we stayed there and he went out of his way to make our trip comfortable. As soon as we walked through the door this week, he remembered us and was once again, very accommodating. Thank you Andrew, from the Golden Girls!

Pool was too hot

Our room was so quiet! There is an interstate close by and yet, I never heard traffic noises. I also didn’t hear slamming doors, next door noises, or people running through the halls. I will stay here again! I am very impressed! Nothing!

Good breakfast and comfy bed Pool was too hot

Upon arrival we noticed it was quite busy. Seems young baseball and basketball stars were rooming there for their games. So, a lot of activity. we were not disturbed at all. It was great for young people and those young at heart with the pool and court adjacent to the building. Breakfast was good, and our suite area was very clean. Did not notice anyone with pets.

The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. They took care of our needs and made us feel like family as we weathered the winter storm together. We felt safe and secure. The room was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. We plan to stay again, next time, just for a nice getaway!

It was peaceful and ticked away while still be accessible to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores. The room was very spacious and great for 2-3 people. Rooms could be cleaner.

It is average. It appeared clean but a little dated. No complaints besides the air conditioning being off upon arrival. As such, it took forever to try and cool the room off.

We stayed at the hotel to see a family member that is dying. The hotel was convent for the location but the room was not clean. The shower had dirt in it, the room smelled like wet dog and the mattress to the pull out couch was stained.

I suspect the person that cleaned the room simply rushed through and I can understand how this can happen having experience with employee supervision. As an aside, one of the manager's of the hotel proactively contacted me the following morning to apologize for the oversight. Kudos to him for that. Stuff happens.

Great stay with family. Convenient location with plenty of dining options in the surrounding area. Very close to the highway as well. Very quiet location and having a kitchen with a large refrigerator, stove and microwave was a plus!

Cushions on the couch in our room were coming apart at the seam. We stay at this location a lot as our son plays football close by. I hope management will maintain this property so that it remains nice and not allow loud parties to be hosted here.

Bathroom sink was clogged (which they did come and fix), kitchen light didn’t work, hall light didn’t work, shower curtain wasn’t wide enough to keep water in, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in shower were all empty and there was pubic hair on the bottles.

I had a very nice stay - liked the facility very much - but it is still a hotel. A little noisy, but not bad. The clerk wanted to downgrade my room, citing water damage in others. Claimed someone had OK'd this in advance. She finally provided what I had reserved, but I had to insist. Overall, I would return.

The outdoor amenities are closed to patrons very early. We visited on a Saturday during spring break and discovered that the fire pit and grills are shut down at 9 pm. This makes sense for the pool to close so early but it seems unreasonable to shut down evening-friendly amenities like the fire pit to people who are paying for the amenities right as the sun sets. Maybe extend the hours of these things for weekends or spring/summer hours?

Minor things like the body wash bottle was empty. Bulb burnt out in one of the lights over the table. Sleeper sofa needs replacing. Very worn. Comfortable beds, nice staff, overall clean.

Every thing was good during my stay but the pool was cloudy and dirty. Ended up catching a some rays by the pool but didn’t get in.

This hotel was so nice! Randolph was amazing at the front desk. Overal experience was fantastic. Our only downside was the pull out couch. The bed was very uncomfortable. Other than that A+ experience.

My wife and I have stayed at this property several times, and until now it was our favorite in Greenville. However, our last experience has been AWFUL. We made our reservations online through hotels.com as we always have, and paid in advance.

We were here to visit Greenville and celebrate my wife's birthday. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The waffles tasted good but were very tough. One of the elevators (left) has a disconcerting shimmy to it. I don't think i have ever stayed at a hotel with a basketball court. Our room was big and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Marriott corporate has changed the selection they’re allowed to serve at breakfast and the patrons and staff seemed unhappy with the changes. My biggest issues were that the shower seemed dirty (but may have just been stained) and the kitchenette floor was sticky. Those were minor things though and I will stay there again in the future.

We like the layout of each of the units we have utilized over our past two times staying at the Marriot. We like this hotel so much that it has become the only place we will stay when visiting Upstate SC.

We really enjoyed our stay there with special thanks to Bridgette, Issac and Joanna. The rooms were spacious for a family of 6. Staying in a pet friendly hotel can sometimes be disreputable with animal hair found throughout the room or unkept areas, however, the was the case while staying here. The rooms and public areas were thoroughly clean. This location is close to any place, restaurant, activities, shopping that you could think of. We were in Greenville to celebrate my daughters birthday and everyone enjoyed their stay. Issac made sure we could make smores in July, Bridgette was always friendly and helpful and Joanna help to hide their birthday cake to keep it a surprise! Great team and great place to stay!

The hotel road is not heavily traveled but area just beyond the hotel is a popular and growing and thus more congested than you would think.
