The room itself was very clean which is most important to me. I didn’t feel that they maintain the property that well….. lobby and buffet area seemed a bit shabby. Went down for coffee in the morning and they didn’t have decaf which really surprised me….. and disappointed me. I wouldn’t stay there again:(

The coffee machine was partially empty when we first got in and what was there was too weak. Breakfast was a little sparser than the last time I stayed here. Parking was excellent and lots of stores and restaurants nearby

Staff cancelled our rooms while we were in transit on our trip. Front desk stated that we were the last ones to make reservations. Cancellations were done via email. No apologies or attempts to find another space.

Parking well lit and felt very safe. Many restaurants in area. Room was super well maintained. We’ll definitely stay again. Amazing value.

Housekeeping never came to remake bed or clean during our stay. Several times when I walked into the hotel at night, there was no one at the front desk, which is concerning because anyone can just walk in. The hotel room had a musty smell and the bed, sheets, and pillows were really uncomfortable. The floor in the room was also really dirty. Most hotels have small bottles of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. This hotel only had shampoo and lotion which was odd. No conditioner or body wash. One of the biggest concerns was the phone not working in our room. Thankfully we had our own cell phones, and most people do as well, but there could be an instance where someone doesn’t have access to a cell phone and is having an emergency. We woke up at 7am our last day to someone next to us with a kid jumping or banging on the wall and singing so that also kind of ruined it.

Would have rated overall excellent, but the breakfast was weak. Also, before I got to breakfast, someone messed up the belgian waffle maker and there was no oversite by the staff to correct it.

There was remodeling and some noise. There was no breakfast the two day I was there. I asked for a "quiet" room and they had me facing the parking lot and a busy street (Woodruff Rd). I was too tired to go back down and ask for another room so I stuck it out.

Newly renovated rooms and cafe were very nice. The bedroom was spacious, with excellent lighting and a very comfortable layout. Plenty of convenient parking.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable; the morning desk person (6am guy) was very kind, helpful and accommodating. He was one of the best parts of the stay. The first room that I was in, had no phone service, the toilet backed up on the first flush and a couple of the towels were not clean. I was moved to a second room, smaller than the original room that I paid for, but of course they would not reimburse me for the smaller room. It was fine, as I was only there for one night. The main takeaway: The hotel is dated, and not in the best area of town, the breakfast was horrible to say the least, and the staff, (with the exception of the 6am morning guy) was ok, but not very kind. I would not stay or recommend this hotel in the future.

Our shower head was filthy with brown dirt. I was old the front desk that this needs to be cleaned immediately. We stayed three nights and our room was never cleaned one time. The breakfast was awful. The coffee machine needs to be cleaned.

Tried to iron my shirt, but the iron was extremely dirty, look like somebody had iron a piece of plastic. See the picture. Shower beaker also broken I could barely close the curtain. Overall, I would avoid this hotel, pay $30 more and go for something better like the holiday

Rooms are decent! Previous occupant of the room I was in clogged the toilet. When I called the front desk he told me I could come down to get a plunger. I was not about to plunge a toilet I didn’t clog.

This was a nice, inexpensive place to stay. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. It was a tiny room, but okay. The free breakfast was not to our liking, as it was mostly carbs. The coffee machine had very weak coffee, so they need to improve on that. Many restaurants around the property and across the street. Would stay here again if in the area.

The breakfast was disappointing. The only thing served hot were the waffles (egg patties were in fridge, no meat). The only bread was a few slices of loaf bread. The coffee was not good and there were no juice options. For about $100 a night I expected more for the breakfast.

Late check in and early morning check out next morning, but host durinfg check-in was very nice and room was clean and nice.

My only complaint was that i couldnt cast my phone screen to the tv with the exception of youtube. Other than that, and that is such a trivial thing, I would give it 5 stars.

The property smelled really bad, like cigarettes, alcohol, and musty. I couldn’t open the window in the room and the door didn’t lock to our room. We requested a refund and they didn’t accommodate, so we left and stayed elsewhere. Don’t recommend. The pictures look nice but it smells so bad.

The ownership of this hotel and the surrounding properties of similar cost, should be inspected by government officials. Families should avoid and American business operations should stop doing business with these foreign investors. They do not care about the conditions, safety of guests, health, and food. Avoid !

The staff was nice but the hotel is not as advertised. It has an 8.8 star review and the photos made it look like a nicer hotel. The pillows were awful and flat and the cases were stained and dirty. We called for new ones and we had to go down to the lobby for them, they gave us more dirty ones. The room was jimmy rigged and thinks were not fixed well. The hallways smelt AWFUL causing headaches. Do not recommend.

It was perfect for what we were in town for, i.e., house hunting. We were able to explore Greenville, Greer, Taylors, and Spartanburg. The hotel is just what it says in its name, micro, the breakfast was typical continental so taper your expectations.

Bed was comfortable. Food options within walking distance and a short drive to the mall and other dining options. Breakfast could have had more options. It was the same every day and not much to choose from. So overall, for the price it was a good stay.

The hallway smelled like smoke. The elevator smelled like incredibly bad body odor. There were letters written qith marker on the corner of the bedsheet. The "cheese omelets" had no cheese...bed was comfortable enough.

I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing that was wrong was the so-called complimentary breakfast.

Our only negative was that it was sometimes difficult and time consuming to get on to Woodruff Road at the stop light.

For the price it was exactly what I was looking for. Clean, nothing fancy but great when you are out exploring and just need a spot to sleep

They did fix our running toilet, but the hall smelled of dampness and weed. Yes, people were smoking weed in a non-smoking hotel. And, on the day we were leaving WE SAW ROACHES! I actually killed one big one and my husband killed three small ones. We shook out EVERY SINGLE ITEM we had as to not bring them back home with us. The staff was friendly and we didn't complain because the money was spent and we were only there for two nights for business purposes.

The staff was off the charts! Very happy with our stay. Would diffently return.

The location is convenient and safe and the rooms are nice and cold in a hot climate. The microwave in room 130 needs to be replaced and the toilet needs to be sealed and fastened more tightly to the floor but otherwise everything else in the room was fine. A few minor adjustments on my end made for a comfortable stay which is why I plan to return. When you're getting a good rate it's worth it.

We like the wording on the plaques placed throughout the lobby and elevator area. It really made the place feel welcoming and comfortable.

At our arrival we were pleasantly welcomed . Loved the decor. The elevator was slow so several times we took the stairs. The room was comfortable and much needed after travel. Restaurant was close by. Close to Balloon & Laser Event we were attending in Simpsonville. Had Ice & Vending Machines price for drinks and snacks low.

A decent two star motel. Everything was clean. It is not fancy by any means, but if you just need a good place to stay for a couple of days - it is a solid choice

Hotel is clean has a positive vibe w many inspiring words and statements the only problem I had was the internet was not working.

We appreciate the honesty of the front desk for informing us that the Wi-Fi was down. We are also grateful that the manager will be refunding money for our one night stay (originally two). The rooms are fine but have an older / musty smell so they could definitely use refreshing. The room above us may have been occupied by nocturnal elephants since we heard their footsteps overhead all night long. Compared to other similar properties in the area, I hope the owners invest in an update.

My overall stay was good for what it was. Just needed a place to sleep for the night for a work trip. When I got to my room and went to the bathroom there was a strand of black hair hanging from one of the towels.

The property was conveniently located from the highway and set back from the Main Street which I liked. Clean, quiet and was perfect for my one night stay.

Very nice quiet place, comfortable beds. Very good breakfast, homemade waffles, egg and cheese omelet. Rooms were very clean. Rooms a bit small but really enjoyed it here.

We REALLY enjoyed our stay---it was certainly just as advertised----A comfortable, friendly, CLEAN, and great value for the dollar! We decided to extend our stay and Deep, the front desk professional made us feel like VERY valuable customers! Our extension was seamless and much appreciated---all thanks to DEEP!

The hotel smelled musky, the room was clean, but seemed questionable with issues like a hanging smoke alarm and toilet seat that was on a tilt.

I have stayed in over 1000 hotels and have never, never had problems with the internet. When it didn't work, I was given a customer support number to call, which I also have never had happen.

Water was never really hot, wasnt cold but you turned it on all the way and it was ok but should have been albe to went hotter.

The shower curtain rod didn’t look its best - it had been repaired multiple times and the tub had a repaired spot, but neither of those affected my shower. Check in staff was good. Breakfast area could have need cleaner - tables needed to be wiped. Overall, a good stay

This property is somewhat moldy and Smokey. I had to switch rooms because the smell was unbearable in the first room. The bathrooms could use some better cleaning. To be fair the hotel seems old and outdated.

Room was clean with hot showers, but room had strong mildew odor that caused breathing problems by morning. Window could only be opened an inch. Also, key card reader was dysfunctional. Breakfast was good but could use some fruit.

This is where I stay in Greenville. Safe, quiet, convenient and the staff is the best; High quality, professional, friendly, and thoughtful people behind the desk. My home away from home.

Breakfast was a joke. Toast,cereal, a tangerine or a waffle. The juices were mostly water. The toilet in our room was like a elementary school toilet. It was the lowest I had ever seen. Wont stay here again!

Terrible Marijuana smell filled the entire first floor and the staff only attempted to mask the problem by spraying air freshner which did nothing to eliminate the odor. The walls are thin and there was constant noise throughout the night. Will not be returning to this property.

Consider more fruit and/or boiled eggs for those with gluten issues.

They have all these weird signs posted everywhere about being kind and considerate. And I mean A LOT OF SIGNS because they are used to people complaining about the condition of this hotel. Very dirty, and we are NEVER staying here again.

When we arrived at property around 7pm , the check in it was quickly, but at the room the tv it was getting any pic at all , called the front door the offer other room to watch the news , but we didn’t get the deal , since we already changed and need to relax , the breakfast time is short time ( 6am to 9:am) … and don’t offer variety of fruit or eggs … poor breakfast. .. I will never book again for this hotel, my wife don’t st all …

The people that run this hotel are very high quality. They care about people, are fair, professional, friendly, and do a great job. I stay here often when in Greenville. It’s always an easy check in, safe, clean, pleasant and quiet. I rest easy at the Microtel Inn - Greenville.
