Very nice place. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly but didn't know a lot about the city. Mini frig leaked water. But over all very nice place to stay close to walk to a lot of things to see.

I was staying in the room alone and the staff accidentally assigned him to my room where I was sleeping and scared me and him to death. It could have been a dangerous situation and they said they would comp my stay, but they only comped one night.

They assigned a man my room in the middle of the night and I was staying alone. They said they would comp both nights, but still charged me for one. It could have been very dangerous for me and I think the hotel needs to take accountability for it.

Parking across the busy street was not ideal, but the property was updated and the room was clean and spacious. Walkable to many restaurants and activities and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here when we ran a half marathon, the valet was extremely accommodating as we had our bicycles on the back of our vehicle.

It was ok Eggs seemed like powdered eggs but it was nice to have other things available. Would rather have separate containers of yogurt vs a bowl that everyone dips out of. Would have like to have soda available for breakfast as well.

The valet parking attenders were very humorous. However, there is a parking deck 2 blocks away for a fraction of the cost. Breakfast was very good and the facility well maintained. There was a work cart outside my door for the entire weekend seemingly abandoned.

The staff and location are the main aspects of my stay. I stayed for work and the accommodations and atmosphere where number one! My hats off to this establishment as I will visit again when I am in the area!

Location was great not too far from Fall Reedy Park. The walk was 7 minutes from the hotel to the park. I didn’t like that the room I booked wasn’t so I had to stay in another room the first night but the second night they gave me what I paid for. But they did made up by giving me complimentary parking.

The property itself was nice enough however the staff was not helpful at all and housekeeping really sucked. They only cleaned the room halfway meaning they gave us fresh towels, but left the dirty towels in the room and did not clean the beds. Valet was super unhelpful. I informed them that I had an early flight and they did not pull my car around. They left the key in the drawer for me to pull my own car down from the valet parking lot, not a property that I look forward to staying at again.

This hotel was excellent. The room was large, quiet, and well equipped. The breakfast was really good and varied. It is located close to The Peace Center and The Falls. Certainly ranks as a 10 out of 10.

I had a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean and I had a city view, which was great. The only downside (and it's not that extreme) was their breakfast. It wasn't bad but just not may choices. I just prefer hot breakfast if I'm going to eat. I would definitely stay again.

The few little adjustments I needed in regard to adjoining rooms were made with a smile and a helpful attitude! After breakfast hours, I asked to use the toaster and it was more trouble to get than I realized it would be. The front desk girl was kind and assured me it was no problem. The hotel was well located close to all downtown areas of interest. Parking is valet only. The hotel has a good breakfast.

Clean, decent breakfast, nice staff WHAT ON EARTH IS UP WITH THE EXCEPTIONALLY LOW CHAIRS IN THE LOBBY. SO RIDICULOUSLY UNCOMFORTABLE to eat breakfast! Not one person both days we were there didn't complain about it. Also breaking breakfast down early wasn't nice either. It didn't impact us but the folks that came down @ 8:55 weren't thrilled- when u charge that much for the room why not leave it up for a min. Parking is expensive too!

The location is great; it's around the corner from the Peace Center and a short walk to Main Street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return.

The room we stayed in had a broken toilet that wouldn’t flush and lights that didn’t work. Next time, please have the room maintenanced before allowing guests in to ensure everything is operational, especially a toilet. Other than the initial man who checked us in —who wasn’t pleasant and who talked too low for us older folks to hear him—the rest of the desk workers (2 women) were wonderful, 1 yesterday and 1 today. The breakfast was very good but I’m unsure if we would stay here again.

This was our second stay and would definitely return for a third. Great staff. Rooms are great and the hotel is right in the middle of a bustling downtown nightlife. The water pressure is impressive!

This was a nice stay. The valets were great, and most importantly, when we forgot something in the closet, they were able to track it down and had it for us when we came back to pick it up.

The King room couch and bed appeared too close together but the space was good.

Love this property! We have stayed here twice for a week each time. Perfect location to be able to walk downtown! Parking situation is amazing right across the street. Clean! We are very happy about this property (on occasion we have had to wait very long time for elevators they are not always working (one is down and other is trying to do everything) sometimes the buttons never go off so take forever for elevator to stop at every floor

Staff seemed indifferent to patrons. Mostly spending time on their phones. Front desk left unattended at times. It was very annoying to be disturbed before 8am to the sound of what seemed like a disco/rap concert. The walls and lights in our room on the 3rd floor were vibrating!!! Upon questioning staff, I was told it was a scheduled special event & nothing could be done.

We parked in the garage across the street at $7 per 24 hours. Extremely reasonable. Super convenient location to Main Street, Falls Park, dining, etc. Left the car parked and walked everywhere.

Overall, the property was clean and well maintained. The cleaning staff were a bit unfriendly and they do not follow instructions. My wife and I clearly left a do not disturb sign on our door, the day after we arrived. We went out for a few hours and our room was entered by the cleaning staff. Also, the following day, we said hello to a member of the cleaning team in the hallway, and she heard us but did not respond or acknowledge us. I’m not sure if I’d stay there again for these reasons.

The elevators were out when we arrived on Saturday and were out this morning when we were checking out. We had to lug our belongings down 4 flights of stairs x2. Not worth the money at all. The rooms were subpar, the electrical outlets didn’t work, house cleaning didn’t come to our room.

Faculty was awesome, But, the elevator was down and we were in the 3rd floor. So we constantly had to walk up and down 2 flights of stairs

The rooms were clean and spacious. The valet parking was convenient and friendly. The downside- elevator wasn’t working and we were on the 6th floor. It wasn’t very quiet. We were awoken by people coming in late and talking while walking to their rooms. Some of the staff were quite friendly while others not so much.

This is the best hotel we stayed at on our 10 day roadtrip. The room was so nice we didn’t want to leave. The staff could not have been more hospitable. We’d stay there again for sure

The hyatt is in a great area close to everything on the main drag of greenville. We were less than a 20 minute walk to the bon secours center.

My assistant booked Hyatt Place by mistake, instead of Hyatt Regency. What a horrible experience. No parking lot for self parking, no breakfast included, no water in the room, and the elevators out of order in the morning. For $200 a night I don't think a bottle of water and Poptart is too much to ask.

Property and room was very clean. Had to call maintenance to fix door lock. (bolt didn't align with slot) Maintenance addressed immediately. Electric black out curtain stopped working as well. (would only raise half way) Door to bathroom catches on raised tiles as door opens. This unit is for ADA customers and this could create an injury since it isn't easy to open door. Evening staff was amazing. Upon checking out, the desk rep had issues processing our payments (we wanted to pay 50/50) I swiped my card on file was initially declined. There was sufficient funds so not sure why there was an issue. I used a different card and he charged that card twice, because he said the first attempt didn't go through. After reviewing my room transactions receipt, my card on file was charged my half of the room reservation on my CC. So overall, I paid for both parts of the reservation and another 50% of the reservation. Rep at desk stated that there was a new program for the business was having issues with it. Another tenant checking out stated she didn't agree with her charges neither. I don't know if this is a training issue or a software issue. This process has been a huge inconvenience and rather embarrassing considering the line to check out had grown since there was only 1 rep for a Sunday check out.

Hotel was nice and clean. There is no free parking. Hotel offers valet for $25. There is a garage across the street for $7 a day.

Finally got the temp down to 81. It was 89 upon entering room. Attempting to get ready and apply makeup in a room that is nearly 90 is miserable. I call the front desk and they seem uninterested to help even an hour and a half of it running and not coming down temp wise. The night staff finally moved me rooms at 1130.

Very nice hotel, short walking distance to Peace Center and great restaurants. Very pleased and will return next time I’m in Greenville.

Great location! Close to absolutely everything!! The staff, to include the valet, were all extremely welcoming and friendly, greeting us every time we entered or left the lobby. My wife and I found the lobby to be extremely clean, and our home in great condition! We also thought that this was one of the quietest hotels that we ever stayed in! Great job Hyatt Place! On our next trip to Greenville, we will certainly stay here again!!

The property was located just outside of the central city. Fabulous restaurants and great shopping.

Great experience. It was our second stay at the hotel; which we chose because of the convenience to all the downtown amenities. This stay was to celebrate a milestone birthday and attend the Jazz Festival. Both were enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel was noticeable. I really appreciated the availability of the rubber shower mat. Note that milestone birthday (LOL). Staff was friendly and attentive. The price per night was notably more than we pay per night but the convenience and overall hotel experience was worth it.

Great staff, very clean and the location was perfect! Parked the car in the parking garage and walked all weekend as this was a great central location. Walked to shopping, resturants, bars and also headed to the West end. Will definately stay here again.

It needed a microwave. Other than that it was great!

When we complained multiple times, his only response was that he had offered to move us to a queen bed room. Since we had booked a king size, this was just an offer to move to an inferior room. A simple apology would have been a better response, or if he wanted to show concern he could have offered something like taking off the breakfast or parking charge. Disjointed in Hyatt's customer service, if not its inability to repair a mechanical defect for 3 days, 2 off which were weekdays.

The building is beautiful, and it's really convenient to everything downtown. Traffic isn't bad in that area, and there's inexpensive parking really close by. You can also get their valet service, which is a little bit more expensive but more convenient. The staff were excellent and we loved our stay here!

Good value as it was cheaper than comparable options. Staff was great, facilities are nice but was some dirt on floor in our bathroom, and whatever they used to mop floors made them feel kind of greasy, but all around we were still pleased with our choice of hotel.

This place was so clean and extremely convenient to downtown. Check out time was at 12pm which was great because we arrive late the night before. We will definitely come back.

Nice place but you have to valet

Very nice place to stay when visiting the Greenville area. Large rooms. Convenient location

The only reason the facility gets a 3 is not because of the hotel itself.. I’m giving a 3 because the hotel offers a third party company for valet. Valet parked my car that night but valet was not available the next morning. I had to go find my own car which is fine if I had not paid for valet.
