Fairfield Inn by Marriott Greenville-Spartanburg Airport

Missed breakfast because we were with a tour that picked up before breakfast. The room had very little coffee supplies.

Excellent one night stay after a delayed flight necessitated an overnight stay. Room was clean, comfortable and cold. Perfect for sleeping. I was right next to the elevator, but never heard it. Breakfast had a nice variety, even if the juice machine didn’t work. Free airport shuttle was actually early, so that was nice too.

Great staff, friendly and helpful. Good property location also. However, the air-conditioning is loud and inefficient. The hallways is loud woth every door opening and closing hard. Makes for a tough event getting a good nights sleep.

Loved the breakfast! I thought we would get something like sweets a couple of fruit choices but they layed out the food! Coffee juices milk spinach quiche sausages eggs assorted bagels cereal, fruit nut, honey, jams.

This is my 4th visit to this hotel. I hear they will be having a total upgrade soon. Breakfast is amazing.. bed comfortable..Good staff !! Loved the free hotel shuttle. Lots of restaurants walking distance in the plaza..

Everything was great

The gym is too small. Breakfast was good but should open at 6:30 instead of 7am. Too many people.

I don’t have anything bad to say about my experience here. The only thing which is very minor is that our room was really dark. The lighting was very dim. Just wish that it was a bit brighter. Everything else was excellent.

Fantastic staff! Stellar customer service from Brent B — I had to work more than expected and the printer wasn’t working, and he went above and beyond to get me squared away, even thinking to put my documents together in an envelope respecting the confidentiality of what I was working on. A++++ care yet again from Marriott. Always a pleasure.

Very friendly. Nice rooms. A short walk to more restaurants than you could imagine. A. CVS close by. There is an airport shuttle that comes from a nearby hotel. I put my name on the list and checked before i went to sleep ( just to be sure) and it still did not arrive as scheduled. The front desk called for it and it arrived in 5 minutes. A very nice place.

The hotel, it's location, and staff were outstanding! We were in town for the Women's SEC Tournament and had a blast. The hotel is near so many restaurants and amenities. TopGolf is literally right down the street. We're definitely staying there again!!

My heating unit did not work work as designed I was cold and when they did fix it, it sounded like a power washer and I and couldn’t get a restful sleep .

Staff was fantastic, so accommodating and friendly, made sure we had everything we needed. Room clean. Shuttle to airport right on time at 4:10am, quick & again so friendly. Parking free for our time away of 10 days. Would definitely stay again.

Beware before you book, know what room you’re actually getting and what belongs in it. They will tell you when you check in that’s not what you booked. The room was clean. The problem was the laundry room . Washed clothes and put it in the dryer and after the 60 minutes the clothes were very wet. Set it for another 60 minutes and still did not dry the clothes. Very inconvenient.

We like the location of this hotel. There are many restaurants that don't require getting back on Greenville's jam packed roads. They also have a free airport shuttle and allow you to park on the property while you are traveling. The staff has always been excellent.

The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. We left our car in their parking lot when we went on a bus tour. We stayed there before we left, and when we returned. Our bus got running late on the return trip. We called and notified the hotel, and their staff was helpful and welcoming as we got there very early in the morning. Nothing. It was a great hotel.

First, the gentleman helping us, Brent, was great. Unfortunately, the first room we had smelled so badly of mold we were unable to stay in it. When I looked behind the curtain, there was black mold and the window frame bubbling and separating from the actual wall frame. We were upgraded and the room was fine. It was just an overnighter but would try to avoid booking there again

Hotel was clean but needs updating. I couldn’t find the towels, but then found them in the shower on a rusty towel holder. No place to put clothes in the bathroom area. Sink was outside bathroom. Bed was comfy and room was nice size. The rusty bar just got to me and made me cringe. Not what I’d expect for a Marriott hotel.

We checked in really late, due to not being able to stay where we thought we was going to. The man at the front was really nice and friendly. Upon first glance the room was a little older but nice. My husband went to close the blinds and was immediately surprised by the blood stains on the curtains and balances. It was literally everywhere. I honestly don’t know how the people cleaning missed it. There was also drywall behind the curtain on the floor and looked like it had been picked at. Other than that the room was fine.

This one night stay to be near the airport was dreadful. The only good thing was the night receptionist was kind. The walls were drab, moldy and stained. The AC had a smell and I was afraid to inhale it so we opted to turn off the unit. The bathroom had a widow that wasn’t wiped but I was able to get the smudge off with a towel, it seems housekeeping put no effort into cleaning this room. In town for the night to meet up with friends for a concert. The room was great for the price. Everything I needed for a place to rest for the night after the concert was over. The staff was great.

The shuttle to and from the airport was a big benefit, and the hotel is near a shopping center with several restaurants withing walking distance.

This property is about 9 mins away from the airport. It is located near places to eat and shop. The breakfast is great and the staff pleasant. The downside to this hotel is when in the room, their TV was not powering on with the remote. The maintenance guy came and got it working, but the screen had 1/3 of the viewing area black and not viewable. If you check other reviews this seems to be a common issue. They had two water outages also. This affected flushing, and timing on use of shower or sink. They were not able to replace the tv nor change the room due to occupancy and since I went through Expedia, not able to offer any compensation, although their front desk clerk said he would lower the rate to $80. I was also informed that when I arrived I could obtain the shuttle. But wasn't informed that the shuttle stopped at 10. Later told 11, but even though I called at 11, they said it stopped. So out of pocket $21 for a cab. (Uber would have been $37. Plan accordingly, check tv when you enter the room, otherwise its a good location and breafast is hearty and hot selections. Turkey sausage for us non-pork eaters was a nice option.

Friendly desk service upon check-in w/complimentary bottle of water. Clean room, comfortable bed, the ability to stream Netflix is a major plus! Water pressure in the shower fantastic. Lots of dining options nearby. I had to leave before breakfast, so can’t comment on that. All in all, would stay again!

Staff and managers were nice and compensated us for the inconvenience. The walls are paper thin so you could hear all the conversations for the people next door. If you want a private conversation talk softly. For a quick trip, yeah I would stay here again.

Unfortunately checking the room smelled funny and the toilet did not work and we were told to take the top off and shake it to flush which is unacceptable. Next morning with 38 degree weather the hot water was not working at all. I really wanted to like this location but i was very disappointed.

The customer service was phenomenal! The food was excellent and the beds very comfy. The Wi-Fi was very sketchy at best and the bathroom while certainly okay was not the best we’ve had.

Arrived late due to airline delays and was greeted with a smile. We rented two rooms - our room was great, but our son said his was very noisy due to the AC unit.

We really enjoyed staying with you. We had our 2 grands who loved the pool. Everything was clean. Our first room smelled of mold and the toilet didn’t work. We were quickly moved to another room that smelled fresh and was nice. The breakfast was wonderful- something for everyone. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again, but it’s obvious a refresh of the facility is in order.

I booked a double room just for the night as I had a late flight in and was heading out to Tennessee the next morning. One room was fine, but my room had a mildew smell. Once I got the AC going, it seemed to go away. The front desk was very helpful when I checked in. The breakfast was pretty good, not great, but not awful. Considering I just needed a place to sleep, it worked. I did check out the gym while my kids were asleep and it wasn't great at all. A few free weights, a treadmill, and elliptical, all basically in a room the size of a closet.

The staff was not welcoming when we arrived. Had trouble with the key card which worked fine the first trip to the room, but would not work when we took bags to room for me or my husband. This location could use remodeling/update.
