    My son and I showed up at 930 pm exhausted. Oops, they overbooked and said only good luck. I don't know how it was possible, I booked the room 2 weeks ago! Really terrible experience and huge mistake on their part.

    Check-in and parking was fine, but whole families live here. It was loud, dirty, and unkempt. It needs alot of work. Bathroom sink was clogged and the whole bathroom door was broken. Needs touchup paint around the whole room. None of the security doors work except at the lobby. Every other security door is broken and anyone can enter the building from any door and any time. People were handing out in the stairways and sitting in the halls. It reminded me of public housing. This is more like a motel than a hotel. I WOULD RATE THIS A ZERO STAR RATING.

    I stayed at Woodspring Suites with my daughter who is disabled for a week and the experience there was absolutely terrible. When I arrived at the hotel, their system was down. In addition, before leaving for our stay at this hotel, we booked a wheelchair accessible room and when we arrived at the hotel, the room was not as advertised we were given a regular room instead which did not meet my daughters needs at all.

    It was an okay experience. It's not a hotel you'll be wowed about being at. If you like hot showers, you may not get that here--the water was warm. They have a small fitness room and a laundry room with many machines on the 1st floor. Staff was pleasant. The building is tucked away behind a shopping center and sits close to a corporate building. A lot of parking spaces were available. The single, queen-sized room included a mini kitchen (i.e., refrigerator, microwave, stove, and sink), bathroom, and bedroom--comparable to a studio apartment. Make sure to bring your own utensils and napkins and maybe even extra body soap.

    The staff are very helpful and I’ve had no problems at all. Ms Ashleigh the General Manager is amazing and they will do all they can to make you feel welcomed. My room was clean and all rooms include a stove top and microwave. You have to have your own things to cook in. The Parking Lot can be a little sketchy and it’s glass out there like cars were broken into so be careful with that.

    When I asked about the refund, the receptionist told me that the hotel had already informed Expedia about the cancellation and that I should receive a refund. However, when I contacted Expedia the next day, their agent told me they had not been notified that the hotel had canceled my booking. I am still uncertain whether I will receive my refund. This was an extremely stressful and disappointing experience, and I would strongly caution others before booking this property.

    For an extended stay, this was pathetic. They have a microwave a cooktop refrigerator and no cooking utensils no coffee maker no nothing. The floor was wiped but not rinsed and was sticky as anything. The shower has one little thing of shampoo and one bar of soap. The coffee was not available and I had to ask for cups. The staff was not rude, but not kind. When I asked for a late checkout, I was told surtbut it will cost you 50% more. If you’re in a bind Shira you want something cheap that’s what you’re trying to get.

    The room was not clean and on the key card placeholders it was written that the place was only cleaned every 2 weeks. How can someone stay in a room with that information? The bathroom had no hand soap and no body soap. It had a small bar of soap which smelled very poorly. The elevators were not clean and it reeked of piss smell. All in all, the stay and room was a terrible, terrible experience.

    If I had to choose, that would be my last option the lobby is so dirty smelled bad and carpet need to change. There was nothing to drink in the lobby. The coffee wasn’t available after spending so much money to attend my daughter graduation. That’s why I choose there. Thought it would be great. Need more cautious person at the front desk and better housekeeping.

    The reviews about the smell in the hotel are absolutely correct. The hallways smell horrible getting to your room and my room had a weird smell to it as well. It’s dog hair all in the carpets around the building and in the elevator as well. The double queen room is spacious and has a stove top, microwave, refrigerator and freezer but you have to bring your own utensils. And for four people it was only 2 washcloths and 4 towels which I don’t understand at all. Parking is free and infront of the building and behind it but some spots are very dark so be careful at night. The staff were pretty good that much I can say. If they fix the little things this isn’t a bad place to stay. I’d stay here again if need be.

    You had to wait for the towels because they always was in the wash machine or dryer. You had to ask for a Broom to even sweep the floor in your room they didn't have an oven that would have helped because sometimes you just don't want to cook on top bake at times.. They had no utensils and cleaning supply, no pots and pans you had to bring your own. It was not told up front.

    Fan above the cookie was coated in burnt oil. Asked for some Lysol and got the tail end of can. We bought some and sprayed everything we came into the room. Shower not very clean as well as marks on walls. No amenities - no dishes, cutlery or paper towels. Would not recommend to anyone.

    U have to pay taxes again even though I paid taxes with Expedia. The elevator doesn’t always work. I had to pay to exchange towels even though I was there for over a week. I had to pay for toilet paper. I only got soap once, that was the day I checked in. Even though they have stove, they don’t have pots for us to use.

    Couldn’t access our room without an employee. After 16 keys none of them would open our door. We had to wait in the lobby for 45 min until they came back to let us in the room. When I got in the room there was poop in the toilet from the previous guest and I was told to plunge it. Dirty sheets with blood etc. I booked a two bed room they moved us to a bed and sofa couch that’s a twin not a queen like I paid for. Floor was filthy I cleaned it with their towels

The tissue was used, the vending machines where broke, and it snowed real bad and the snow plow pushed all the snow behind our cars so we had to fight to get out of the snow, and they weren't giving any visitors extra time to stay or another night because we couldnt get out of the snow. I wasnt to pleased about my stay

    There was no breakfast!!!!!! I had to walk to the I-Hop. The hallway lobby was steaming hot when I arrived to check in at 5:30pm on July 11, 2025. No explanation was offered!! It was a passing guest who explained what happened as the desk clerk (Ms Johnson) was busy cooling herself with an hand fan! The room phone was plugged in the wall, but there was no dial tone! So I used my cellphone to call the front desk no-one picked up the phone. The TV remote was not in the room. I needed help with the wi-fi so I called the toll free # on the info card. I got help! There was no mirror in the room for dressing. The bathroom had a mirror that was short,, showing only from my neck up! There was a YOUNG COCKROACH crawling on the floor outside the bathroom door the morning after my arrival!!! I killed it & wrapped it in a tissue and took it to the desk clerk for evidence!

    Location and price were the two major factors that I considered when booking this place. Full sized fridge and ample shelves for storage in the room was nice. Furniture was well used and very worn, if not broken. Some of the upholstery on the lounge chair was worn away. The lampshade next to the bed was mangled on one side. Whoever cleaned the room turned the lampshade away so that you couldn’t see that part when you walked in. Some of the wall light switches didn’t work either. Although you could tell someone did attempt to clean, there were still pieces of hair in the towels and in the shower. The varnish on the mirror in the bathroom was scraped away and it looked like it could be moldy in some places. There was crusty crud at the top of the shower hardware. Water pressure in the shower was poor although it was warm enough for me. The floors/phone/lamp/walls were disconcertingly sticky. Stains all over the walls. Didn’t look too closely at the sheets because there were some obvious stains on the comforter and I just wanted to get through my stay with some ignorance. Noise level is high. I was able to understand a full conversation in the room next to me. Doors easily slam and resound in the hallways. Temperature unit in the room worked well and quickly to heat/cool the room. Unfortunately there was a strongly scented freshener put in the unit which was uncomfortably potent when running. Probably in an attempt to cover the up the weed. Although the hotel is listed as a “no smoking” it’s obvious that no one cares or pays attention. There was usually at least 2 people smoking behind the back of the hotel each evening at any time. It’s definitely a hangout spot. I heard loud conversation and car music. But I was especially close because my room was on the first floor against the back of the hotel. All the first floor room windows are easily accessible via the ground level outside outside. It isn’t very secure. I didn’t look at any of the reviews while booking. I’ll take responsibility for my poor choice.

    The lady was very rude Estrella she lied about availability and refused my stay because I didn’t pay at the desk and paid thru a 3 rd party the elevator was broke and we were on the 5th floor with a handicap uncle with a bad leg they are the worst hotel fire estell and Ashleigh

    Property was unsatifactory, hair on the bed and shower curtain, toilet seat had black marks, sink and counter top and bathroom wall had residue of makeup and other old substance . Headboard had residue on them as pounted out by my grand daughters. Furniture damaged, dirt on the walls as if dirty feet were on the walls, paint scrathed off the walls, hall smells of dog urine and filthy elevator with mucus like substance on carpet in elevator. Very unacceptable. I was refused a refund. Unexpected for a newer facility

    Unfortunately for a Woodsprings Suite, I was surprised that there were NO curtains as I can't sleep with any light coming from the parking lot :(. There was NO coffee pot in the room as I have had in previous Woodsprings Suites, and there was NO coffee available in the lobby first thing in the morning after a night of no sleep. Sorry to mention NO soap or body wash in the bathroom, we ended up leaving out early to head home. The Holiday Inn was in the same area, we now know that would have been better.

    The staff was nice when checking in. That was the only nice thing lol. We got to our rooms, the floor was sticky everywhere. Our white socks were black on the bottom afterwards. The beds were like sleeping on a slab of rock. There were 3 of us and a total of 4 pillows only. We requested extra and didn’t get them. The pillows were paper thin, it would be different if they were fluffy. The walls were very dirty as well. Especially sad for the price, it wasn’t very cheap.

    The receptionist immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and that only a “handicapped” room near reception was available. He invited me to see it. The room was shabby, with stained linen, dilapidated furniture, and a strong human odor. It was not a place I would stay in for even one night. What made the experience worse was the realization that hotels.com had made a reservation that was clearly not guaranteed and had recommended such an unclean, unsafe-looking property. I was left both shocked and disappointed that a platform I trusted could be so unreliable and could promote a place so far below acceptable standards.

    I liked that it was close to different food options. I didn’t like that the pillows were so flat it hurt my back the following morning. When asked if we can have extra pillows she responded by saying that they didn’t have any. I did not like that we had to pay for toilet paper!

    We arrived at this property after a long day only to be told that the property was overbooked and our three rooms were not available. Standing in a hobby that felt like it did not have air conditioning and people laying around on the couches made me somewhat happy that I could find another place. The front desk clerk was not helpful and did not suggest any alternatives. The only thing she was able to do is tell me to go to Expedia to get my refund. After a 30 minute call with Expedia, I was able to get them to begin to act on my refund and prevent me from having to pay for the rooms that I had yet to pay for. Expedia was equally unconcerned about our situation in the hassle and it led to. Fortunately, we found another place to stay nearby and I highly recommend it. It is the capital beltway best Western. The front desk clerk there was very helpful and we were able to get three rooms slightly higher of a price but of much higher quality. My recommendation is to skip this other lousy place and book with the best Western nearby. You will be happy you did.

    Checked in but printer wasn’t working so I was told to come Back tomorrow for a printed receipt. What ??? Took elevator to room. Walked to door. Tried to touch key to door and saw ‘something moving’ - bent down and saw a bug crawling - no, A ROACH CRAWLING. WENT INTO ROOM CALLED FROMT DESK INFORMED RECEPTIONIST. NOTHING HAPPENED AND I WAS TOLD… “we’re fully booked” !! Thought about going back to my car to sleep there. Inside the room killed x3 ADDITIONAL ROACHES. DISGUSTING. DISTURBING. NASTY. I WILL REQUEST A FULL REFUND.

    This is the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. Upon entering the room it had a strong odor of bleach. We thought if we open the window that would help. It did not. There were no soaps, shampoo, tissue or hair dryer. It was a noisy room. Upon getting up after a no sleep night, I had to go downstairs to get soap and shampoos. When I put on my sneakers I went sliding across the floor an fell. It also happened to my grandson. Thankfully, no major injuries. Whatever they used to clean the floor turned it into a very slippery floor . I would never recommend this hotel. By the way, I did report it but the staff did not appear to care. You definitely get what you pay for.

    This place is it a good location, right next to the highway that takes you to the airport, close to the metro station and right next to a shopping plaza. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Ashleigh, the manager. She helped me find a ride to the airport. The property itself could use a little TLC. But overall, it’s a clean, decent place to spend the night.

    According to their website, cleaning of the room will be once a week. I have NOT had room service for cleaning the room, cleaning the bathroom or the changing the linen. The hallways and the rugs in the elevator are clean. The bathroom has a bad smell. I had to keep fan the bathroom turned on

    My visit at woodspring Suites was fantastic and it began from the very minute I walked in the door. I had a wonderful greeting from the desk person Lisa she as was very helpful and knowledgeable in every question I asked about. It was such a pleasant interaction I knew it was going to be a good stay from what I had read prior to getting here from the high marks of the prior reviews.. My room was clean and adequate and quite nice for the very reasonable price I paid. It appears to be one of those places where you're scratching your head and wondering for the price something must be wrong but there was absolutely nothing wrong with my stay,I would do it many many times again.There where no negative surprises. As I read you have to provide everything yourself in the kitchen area.No big deal,maybe that's how they keep their costs down but just across the street and walking distance is a huge chain grocery store .I would like to add to the management team please continue to employ Pleasant people such as Lisa to be the first person your customers see.I can see nothing but good things to become of it. Bravo Woodspring Suites.

    *Two of the ladies' body language/tone at the front desk needs improving - very rude when responding to questions asked as if theyre annoyed. *I was never notifed by the front desk that my card was only billed for a week; as a result, I went out and came back on the 7th day only to find out after 3 different visits to the front desk that I had been locked out due to non-payment. The proper procedure upon check-in would be to ask if the customer would like to pay for the entire stay to avoid such occurences. *Poor ventilation: persons cooking in other rooms can be smelt in my room at all times *Cleanliness: front desk explained that room cleaning is done on the 7th day; however, my stay was for 10 days and my room was never cleaned. In addition, I had to go the front desk every other day to change towels.

    If you are someone who likes quiet and peacefulness refrain forgetting room at the end (shocker right?) there was constant opening and closings of doors and loud banging every night. I was very unimpressed with the noises. The staff was very sweet expect for the check in lady. On these particular days I was there there was no hot water… so cold water it was. Overall it was a very clean and decent place. 7/10 I would say.

    I stayed there the first weekend they opened and the only issue was the elevator didn’t work and we had to carry our luggage up 5 flights of stairs but overall the stay was great. But this time the property looked very used and extremely uncomfortable. The bed was terrible, the room wasn’t real clean. The room I was in was at an exit door and was constantly opening and closing all night long. Weed smoking was going on in the building and outside the door where my room was.
