We understand that the hotel was under construction. However, the room that we stayed and should’ve never have been occupied by any customer. There was no extra supplies or accommodations that should’ve been provided such as cub for coffee, ice, bucket, and even tissues this room should’ve never been slept in.

The location was great with easy access to downtown D.C. This property has a nice gym. The property is dated but renovations are happening now.

Our stay for three nights was great. King size bed was so comfortable! The staff at the front desk was extremely nice and polite. I didn't catch the gentlemens name who seemed to be there Everytime we walked by but he was very nice!

The hotel is currently being renovated. I booked through Expedia and had asked for a crib but upon arrival I was told that they have none. Keep in mind I tried calling ahead of time, but no one would answer them called Expedia and they confirmed that the note was passed down. We entered the room and it was very very dirty hair in the bathtub dust everywhere even a cockroach! Tried calling the front desk and no answer to try to get someone to give us some cleaning supplies.

I would never eat here. The smells in the halls and elevators were disgusting. Simply put, the room was dated and dirty, and the bathroom was filthy and in poor condition. Understand it’s not necessarily controllabe. My room was super smoky. The smell from previous stays who smoked was very strong and I am a non smoker so it stood out.

We came on the first and were leaving. The fourth was here for a birthday party on Sunday. Short day is ok.

Nice staff very quiet, we asked the staff about the free breakfast for two that was included , and she told me . The breakfast was not included and we need to pay $15.00 . So we didn’t get any breakfast at all . The parking is great .

There were spaces in the door frame so we could see people walking by. All night there were two little girls running and skating up and down the hallway. But the young man who checked us in was professional and kind. Please get the renovations together! This hotel is in a great location.

Staff was kind and makes up for much but as a member experiencing many properties like this it just continues to be a rough stay with this company. At this location the cleaning certainly did not seem thorough as obvious trash was found in the bathroom I’m not sure how it was missed in the first place and along with such a foul odor in the room that I went to get all kinds of sprays to make manageable. Breakfast matched what this company normally offers but it lacked here to an extra degree unfortunately and for the fact that I also had pay for it just did not help. More renovation at this location as well.. seems like there’s always renovations at these hotels associated with holiday/IHG. I recommend staying anywhere other after continuous similar issues.

Plenty of parking. I didn't like a fact of paying $15 per person for breakfast and it wasn't as good as any free breakfast I've gotten at another holiday inn or other hotels. Actually the breakfast was horrible. Nothing to drink on display. Look like frozen pancakes and so on.

Parking easy. Staff were helpful and welcoming. The room did not have any shower soap, offered one bar soap that was not suit able for showers. Found antes on kitchen table while eating breakfast.

Parking was a bit of a walk away from the front door. We stayed after a concert so my husband dropped me off at the door and parked since I was so exhausted from dancing. Otherwise the hotel was fine, easy check-in, decent room. Nothing terrible

The appearance of the hotel from exterior looks promising and alluring but once you experience the interior you realize the work that needs to be done.. Great price for one night but.. I'll spend the extra dollar next time..

The manger is the best worker. The night shift guy don't know how to do his job. Or has no good communication skills. Day time old lady same. Ravens hat. Attitude. The manger stepped in and definitely showed why she the manger. Elders can learn from the young ones.

The front desk personnel were so welcoming and willing to help us, so friendly and respectful. There were cockroaches in all the room, restroom, near the fridge and even around our bed, that was soo disgusting. We were literally having a nightmare about the cockroaches. The pillows aren't comfortable.

Room was not clean, keys did not work, room was not as described, no amenities and only one elevator in use that was boarded up. Staff however was very nice!

The building had half electricity, charged full price for the room even though there was only half electricity in the building and no working elevators. We stayed in the 5th floor. All other hotels were booked and we were there for a work event. They said they would offer a refund but they still have not issued a credit.

Got there and was told they overbooked and we had to go somewhere else. Very rude as well and not in a good area. U should be told ahead of time if they overbook before you drive 2 hours to the location.

I will never stay at that hotel ever again found roaches in the bathroom and in the near the beds they moved just to a second room and it smelled like pot then finally the third room on the morning of checkout we found more roaches in the bathroom, it was not a good experience, but the employees were awesome

Lobby was nice and staff were decent. The building was sketch, and under a lot of renovations. Housekeeping staff hollering on the phone on the hallways. Bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Also, we were put in a joined room without our knowledge.

This was by far the nastiest hotel that I have ever stayed in. I paid for two rooms and they were both dirty, smelled, carpet was moist and bathroom was atrocious. Overall a horrible experience.

They have plug-in air fresheners in the hallways as well and on top of that they are doing renovations. I wish this info were available before I paid in advance for these nasty rooms. The hotel is under construction, which was not disruptive, however the laundry and gym were not available which we didn't know when we booked. The room and beds were comfortable, linens fresh, a good size mini-fridge and freezer, and a good location in Greenbelt. We would've benefited from a recycle bin in the room and breakfast included.

The property doesn’t look anything like it’s advertising. The building in dark no green lights or any lights. It actually looks abandoned. The elevator are old with chipped wood. It smells of dust from construction and very noisy. Not what I was expecting. The staff was very nice for check in and check out. I wouldn’t recommend staying until construction is done.

The mattress is uncomfortable to where it sinks in the middle. Went downstairs to let them know and immediately they changed my room. But while waiting there was a mouse running around the lobby. I know they are doing renovations they could be the reason why they have a mouse in the lobby.

The people were great but Expedite should have let us know that it was in the middle of being remodeled. There were a lot of things that needed to be repaired and it was dirty. Their breakfast was great.

Unfortunately, this property is really showing its age. The facilities are VERY outdated and worn. When we stayed there (September 20-21, 2024), the restaurant was closed for renovations, which was a bummer because we had to find outside dining options. The room itself was ok and the bed was comfortable but the bathroom was sorely in need of remodeling. The plumbing didn't work well and the shower surround was showing rust (mold?) stains. The staff was very courteous and responsive. There was a crazy fight in the hallway one night of our stay and security came up quickly to intervene.

The waller paper, border of the baseboard, bathroom equipment, furniture is old and chipped, mattress is uncomfortable, surfaces show water damage spots, carpet is nasty, everything is dark and gives a dingy feel.

My colleague and I specifically chose this hotel because it had a pool, dining on-site, and it was near by to our destination. When we arrived, there were signs saying that there was construction going on and due to that, the pool, laundry facilities and gym were closed. We were also told that the restaurant on site had been closed since the pandemic and has not been reopened. None of these things were listed on the Expedia booking page. We assumed there would be some sort of conference room/business area for us to work in, but their designated business area was the lobby. We ended up having to sit at a high top table in a fairly busy hallway (for a hotel) off the main lobby to get our work done. The rooms were clean enough, but I could hear the tv and people talking in the room next to me (despite the amenities list saying soundproof rooms). When I went to take a shower in the morning, there was barely any hot water and I ended up taking a fairly cold shower. The sink also didn’t have any cold water. Had I known that there was construction and some amenities would be closed prior to booking, I would’ve booked at a different hotel.

We ended up having to sit at a high top table in a fairly busy hallway (for a hotel) off the main lobby to get our work done. The rooms were clean enough, but I could hear the tv and people talking in the room next to me (despite the amenities list saying soundproof rooms). When I went to take a shower in the morning, there was barely any hot water and I ended up taking a fairly cold shower. The sink also didn’t have any cold water. Had I known that there was construction and some amenities would be closed prior to booking, I would’ve booked at a different hotel.

Room was semi clean. Bathroom could use more of a deep clean. Make sure to bring aspirin. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Found someones sock under the desk.

Also, the $15 buffet is NOT worth it. Nice dining area BUT the food is NOT good. The front desk day staff is so indifferent to their patrons. Overall, until they remodel, get a better buffet going, move the trash cans, and basically finish with the remodel... I don't recommend.

Room was not properly cleaned. Dust was all over the place. No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

I was charged for two nights lodging as well as no show charges for the same dates! Desk clerk was totally confused upon my checkin.

The hotel if fairly clean, but needs updating in rooms and bathrooms. Elevators are old and very slow. The staff was nice and friendly.

The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast although had options was not really worth the charge. The location could use a deep cleaning (especially the times in the bathroom) and some upgrades. Overall it was a pleasant experience

We have to leave the place with 30 minutes after we arrive, we shave a rat inside the room, yes a RAT .

I didn’t like the fact that breakfast was not free

All was good but when I went to watch a final 4 basketball game from my room the TV did not have TNT, TBS or Tru TV available. I was told the carrier was being updated. I had to leave the hotel and find a bar/restaurant that was showing the game.

My first room was very dirty, all kinds of hair in the bathtub. When I talked to the front desk they switched my room, but this one is just as dirty. I don’t think the room was even cleaned after the last person stayed here. I had to go out and buy my own towel and shower shoes just to feel okay staying here. Definitely will not be staying in a holiday inn again.

hotel needs updating

Been there a few times before..But this time there was only 3 working outlets.. we needed at least 5.. my CPAPmachine, charger for my daughter’s hearing aid, 2 phones and 2 IPads. Outlets were there, but not functional.

I never leave hotel reviews, so I’ll keep it short and sweet: rooms are irreparably dirty (spider webs, unidentified dried residue on the floors and all the furniture, and mice!!! in the rooms!!!), bathrooms aren’t much better (I ended up buying flip flops from the nearby dollar tree to shower), breakfast buffet is below average and overpriced. The 7th floor is a rundown version of the 5th floor but I can’t speak to the rest of the floors. Hopefully all the renovations going on can fix this place but I’m skeptical. The gym is closed due to ongoing repairs. Only stay here if you really need to…

It is a very nice and beautiful place that I think anyone wishes to stay for a vacation. The staff there was so nice and they were always there to help us out when we did things wrong with the key. They were there to make it work again. Can't wait to be back soon. Once again thank you guys so much for making our stay a beautiful and nice one.

Kind of an overall unprofessional feel too the place. Nonemployees hanging out at front desk in evening and overnight, clouds is weed smoke in rolling under doors in hallways, construction noise in building, general disrepair in common areas (other than lobby which was fine). I expect a little bit more from Holiday inn

Property charged my an extra $181.40 and after calling multiple times was told they don’t know where that money was taking from but to dispute it with my bank. The front desk employee was extremely rude when we went to check in and another group of friends of ours staying a floor below us found a cockroach in their room.

They are in the process of renovating so hopefully some of what I had issues with will be fixed. The property and rooms are very dated: the lights in the rooms were delayed, our fridge wasn’t even plugged in when we got there and didn’t work once plugged in, the outlets were worn so things wouldn’t stay in the plugs, half the TV channels didn’t work.

Not my first time. I'll be back anytime I'm spending some time with my family in the area

Unfortunately the hotel has not been updated or modernize since I stayed there over ten years ago. Does offer a buffet breakfast for $15👍

Everything was great

Everything was Super close ,, Dining ,, shopping and the Capitol Was very close!! FedExField was close too as well for our Sunday Game!!

Property was in disrepair, room had stained furniture, bed lacked a headboard, coffee maker did not work. Staff was not attentive or welcoming. Met the need of a bed for the night, but I would not stay here again. Does not live up to the Hilton reputation.

I had come in for a conference. The front desk staff were rude. The room had roaches and ants. The gym was not functional. When I questioned them about the issues the answer that I got was the hotel is under renovation. There are other good low cost hotels around. Had to book an earlier flight just to get away soon. I forgot to take pictures of the mess probably because I was so done with it. Do not recommend this place to anyone. It’s better to rent a car and stay in it.

First of all they was doing construction work on the building and people were standing there. It was filthy and they wanted a Security $100.
