The name speaks for itself. One suggestion if yiur drivnimg into DC, take the Metro from the Greenbelt station just down the road, the traffics in DCwas worse the NYC.

The staff was amazing. My room was very nice: and it was clean. There were no outdoor spaces to enjoy the beautiful weather. Unfortunately, the pool looked like it had not been used in many years. It would’ve been a much better Experience had the pool been open, or if there were some nice relaxing spot just to sit outside (other than the two benches in the very front).

Room was clean, but a tad musty. 15th floor. 1st time here. Might do it again. 7.8/10.
- 2.5/5
It was a clean breakfast and the kitchen staff were nice and friendly. The edges of the room was not clean. We got a handicap room instead of regular room. Hot water took too long to warm up. Shower head didn’t fully flow. No curtain in shower. Not enough towels. Displeased with the room assigned. Not enough lighting in the room. The only good thing is comfortable bed and pillow.

It was near my NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Lot's or parking. Not far to walk to a lake. 1. the staff were just rude, especially the bar staff. 2. The hotel was frozen. 3. The elevators were not working, although situated by the reception, after about 10 people joined the queue to use the elevator and a 10 minute wait, a customer told us to pass through the kitchen on the other side of the hotel to use the service elevator. The staff could clearly see us waiting. 4. On passing through the kitchen - it didn't look clean. 5. The floor of my room smelt like weed (although staff did recognise this and used fabreeze). 6. On checking out, the staff were again rude. 7. Restaurant was closed, and no real options near by. The shop could do with some emergency options

What I liked most about Crowne Plaza was the human quality of the staff! A+ They were so friendly and nice!

An amazing hotel. The only issue I had was the ice machine and microwave was on the first floor.

Had to wait a bit for my room to be ready even though it was past check in time

The stay was decent but after almost 2 weeks, i'm still waiting for the hotel to release the incidental hold. Not sure what is taking so long smh
- 3/5
We also had to ask that maintenance come up to fix the hand-held shower sprayer.
- 4/5
Breakfast was for a few. Not big bar selection for cocktails
- 2/5
The staff was ok, the room had no AC and the TV did not work. Our room keys needed to be reset. It was an unpleasant stay.

Its always clean, smell good and the staff its nice. No complaints.

There was blood on the door frame to the bathroom. Eww. Everything else looked clean. No noise issues.
- 3/5
The check-in process and front desk employees were excellent. The lobby was well decorated and looked nice. However, the food was terrible (pizza and smith island cake), bar service two thumbs down—slower than slow, unaccommodating, and not customer friendly at all. The room was okay but dated. They only give two pillows for a king sized bed and have no shelf in the shower for your personal items. So, I had to put the on the shower floor. The water pressure left much to be desired. The room was hot but the front desk sent someone quickly to fix it. But, it didn’t really cool down like it should have. I also noticed that folks had the blue masking tape on the doors. This made me feel like theft could be a problem? The bed was too soft for my liking and I woke up with a hurt back. Now to the breakfast, they were out of apple juice… and it cost $20 per person for a choice of oatmeal, dry cereal, yogurt, breads, muffins, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, and fresh fruit. It was okay but you’ve got to ask for butter, jam, syrup, ketchup, and drink refills from the attendant. I’d prefer to have all those items readily available. And the carafes looked dirty… I am not sure if I would stay at this Crowne again. All Crownes are not made equally.

The heat never worked throughout our stay, mind you . This was in a 50 degrees weather and constant rain. Just cold all night long! Terrible ! Also the rooms have zero to no lightning, the bathroom didn’t have air vents so we literally had to shower with the doors open. Would not recommend!
- 5/5
Room was clean. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds. Quiet.
- 1/5
The bedroom was not fitted for handicapped especially if you have a wheelchair. The hallway in the 16th floor smelled smoke and carpet was dirty even in the bedroom. The hot water came on after 30 minutes of waiting and the water pressure was so slow. The highlight of our stay was the behavior and attitude of one of the front desk employee. She was very sarcastic, she thinks she can just yell at me. She needs to go back to school and learn, good manners and right conduct. I do not recommend this hotel. This is just a regular hotel nothing fancy. It's just a name you're paying. My husband and I been around staying in a different hotels for 2 months because he goes to DC for his therapy. There's 2 hotel that we don't care and this hotel would be the 3rd one.
- 5/5
The stay at this hotel is nothing short of amazing!
- 4/5
Ok

The restaurant service was also very disappointing. We waited 38 minutes just for someone to take our order, and when the food arrived, the order was incorrect. Thankfully, the manager acknowledged the issue and kindly provided the meal complimentary. On a positive note, the room and surrounding areas were clean.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed this hotel! It was clean, staff was nice and the hotel itself was very nice. I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Wonderful breakfast. Great location near beltway.
- 4/5
I didn't realize the property wasn't near restaurants. The floors needed sweeping. The only thing I truly didn't like was that I requested a placard to hang on my door, because I don't like anyone coming into my room during my stay. So I always request 2 beds. I was rolling cleaning only happens on request and I didn't need a placard. I come back and my room is cleaned!!!!! So I go to the desk immediately and complain and stressed that I didn't want anyone coming back into my room. They apologized and said they will pass the word on. Next day on my way out, I see the cleaning lady and I say please do not clean my room. I come back and low and behold my room is cleaned!!!!! Now I'm pissed, because I disinfect to my liking and I don't want anyone in my room!!! Then I look and see a placard hanging on one of the doors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room is clean. Bathroom is nice. Staff is friendly. Parking is easy.

It is a good hotel. It is 35 minutes from DC. If you plan to visit the city you have to take the metro that is close to the hotel, or drive with the tough traffic to the City . Overall the hotel is good and the breakfast is excellent.

When I first arrived at the hotel I was greeted nicely . When I checked into my room I noticed stains all over the floor . A day before my check out I asked for late checkout and was declined and rudely talked to by the staff at the front desk . The next morning I spoke to the hotel manager Kristen about my stay and mistreatment and she apologized and granted me 10,000 points in return for how I was treated . I still would have liked to have late checkout but that didn’t happen . Over all my stay was decent besides that mishap .
- 5/5
It was a nice stay.
- 3/5
The nightly rate for this hotel was not cheap, even for a holiday weekend. The room was basic with no chairs to sit in at the table, only one chair at the desk. There were no hooks or racks in the shower to store your own personal toiletries. Not everyone wants to use the body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided by the hotel. Also, the shower door would not stay closed. It would open continuously while the shower was running causing water to collect on the bathroom floor. All of the staff encountered, however, were very helpful and pleasant.
- 2/5
I WAS SO COLD THE HEAT WASNT WORKING IN MY ROOM ! But everything else was amazing.
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 2/5
Finally...when I checked out...I came down to the front desk at 9am along with a couple who also wanted to check out. There was NO ONE at the front desk. So....I left my key cards on their front desk computer keyboard and left. It's not just the staff. IT IS THE MANAGEMENT of this hotel. They won't fix the rooms with the heating and AC problems ( tons of bad reviews on Google on this ) and they let some of their employees either be lazy or have an attitude. In my opinion....stay away from this hotel.
- 5/5
The staff was great.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel for the price, spacious rooms, always squeaky clean, with nice and accommodating personnel.
- 3/5
When I checked in around 3-330 pm, I went to my room on the 7th floor and the entire hallway was lined with piles of dirty linen and towels on both sides of the hallway. I had to walk through this to get to my room. Although the hallway carpet was in very good condition, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. It looked the same when I checked out two days later.
- 1/5
The hotel is not classy at all! It smelled, the food was horrible!!! The parking is awkward and the rooms need renovations and cleaned well. we were there for a banquet and you need another chef! Your banquet services are expensive bug the dood & service was horrible!!!! I will NEVER stay there again!

Nothing I am going to go back. Everything met my expectations. They are now my go to spot.

Like the stay this will be the hotel I use whenever I am in the area. Great location for getting into dc while not paying too much. My new hideout. Nothing I am going to go back. Everything met my expectations. They are now my go to spot.

Great hotel
- 5/5
beautiful hotel, the staff was excellent. Ideal location next to transportation.
- 4/5
The hotel property looked dated as well -- elevators and unit phones stood out as the most obvious. Unit phones are hardly ever used, but there's no way around the elevators. TV was newer but with only cable programming and not readily able to hook any of the streaming services. Our room was spacious. Lighting was sparse but manageable. Internet signal was sufficient to browse and watch streaming shows on our laptop. Shower was above average with a stationary showerhead as well as a handheld unit attached to it, which was a rarity. Soap and lotion were available in dispensers, which seems to be the trend these days. There was no gym or fitness center, an outlier in this day and age. There was a wedding reception or similar event taking place at the time we checked in. As a result, the hotel was louder and busier than usual. Our floor was especially loud late into the night. However, we either fell asleep at around 1 am or the door-slamming stopped.

Check in was great room was clean
- 4/5
The room was spacious and clean, but the AC was noisy and we couldn’t sleep well. You can’t turn it off yourself — you have to ask the front desk to send someone to do it because the controls in the room don’t work.
- 3/5
My only concern was the air conditioning in the room. Unfortunately, the thermostat did not work properly, and the room became very stuffy overnight, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Aside from that issue, everything else was great.
- 1.5/5
This hotel needs some serious renovation. The main room doors don’t close until you kick them. Hot water and cold water lines are swapped. No microwave in the room. Ice only available at the lobby. No plastic bags in trash cans. Definitely skipping CROWNE

The breakfast was really nice and well worth it. I do wish we had had a microwave in the room so that we could have reheated any leftovers that we had but it was clean and well maintained and the front desktop was excellent.

Breakfast was good.
- 3/5
My stay was fine. No real complaints except that there were a few people waiting check in at the same time and one woman to do it all. She had to yell over to the other receptionist who was socializing with the bartender to come help. The drive right in front of the hotel is a disaster. There are always 3 or more cars there and you can’t get past anyone. You’re either locked in or have to back out. The beds, TV, and coffee were nice. The entire place definitely needs a facelift.

The check in agent was great and friendly whe. I arrived… a different experience at check out though as the agent named McKenna …An African American lady who clearly did not want to be there was the rudest person I’ve EVER had wait on me!!!!!!I’ve stayed at lots of Holiday Inns etc and even worked for the company in Minneapolis from 1986-2000.. but NEVER had an employee speak to me the way she did. I went to check out and give her my card keys. I didn’t see her hand . I said my room # and she said “ how rude “.. I said what?? Me?? She said “Yes your being rude I had my hand out”….. I advised her I didn’t see it which I didn’t .. who the heck speaks to a customer that way ???.. wow!! She needs to go back to customer service training cause that alone will have me bad mouth this property and never stay there again., your company should be ashamed that that’s who is the face to check out/ in too..

The staff was not professional at all elevator went down and guest were not notified. Upon check in called and was told there was early check in so I arrived at the property early only to be told that there was not and had to wait 3 hours to be checked in. Even with the do not disturb sign on the door maids still entered the room. Upon check out front desk clerk was very unprofessional was on the phone having a personal conversation didn't even acknowledge me checking out I feel for the money I paid to stay the service should have been way better. Had to go up the service elevator and walked through the kitchen it was a mess the floor was horrible. Will not stay at this hotel in the future.

The location was perfect for our purpose in the city. The hotel room was clean, nice and cold and the bed was extremely comfortable! We chose to include breakfast for ease of things and that was one of the best decisions we made. The food is great and the service from the staff is amazing, thank you all!

Breakfast menu option was amazing, fresh and I loved the options defiantly one of my favourite parts of the stay along with the staff who serve. Really clean property, I must say what stood out for me was the bedding, the bed, the sheets was probably the most comfortable beds I have stayed in a hotel, not sure what it was but 10/10 great selection of tv channels as well and overall the hotel was very clean and up to date. Defiantly would come back each time I’m in Maryland/Washington

My 1st room smelled a lot like smoke and the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking. After refusing a deodorizing room spray, I was moved to another room. The mattresses in both rooms were old, lumpy and very uncomfortable. I slept on the lounge chair the entire stay. When asked for the room to be cleaned, filling the body soap dispenser was missed and I had to ask for it to be filled. When I engaged the cleaning staff for towels or the liquid soap, they were nice and responded immediately. The front desk staff were just ok, nothing impressive.

Hotel was nice room was good. Staff however was not helpful. Concierge desk could not even give me directions to metro station. She just said to take an uber. The website said it is a 3 min drive. I put into my gps and its a 15 min drive. I asked another guest and they were able to tell me how to get there in 3 mins. They didnt tell me i needed a voucher for breakfast even when i asked at checkin that it was included. No mention that i needed a voucher. Then our 2nd night there a group of young kids checked in. All on our floor. 2 and a half hours of yelling and running up and down halls along with slamming doors. I called down and they said they would speak to chaperones. Continued til 1030 pm. Woken up by 5:30 to the start of it all over again. Complained again at check out but they had nothing to say but sorry.

The T.V. was glitching the whole time, some of the staff were professional and others, less so. Will likely not repeat a stay at this hotel.

I believe it was a mixup on when I was checking out by housekeeping-so I am docking a star for that because it certainly should never have happened -but the front desk was very understanding and reached out to housekeeping so that never happens again. Property manager the next morning also spoke to me about it-so I am happy with their response to what happened. Breakfast buffet is basic but very good. There is free coffee in the lobby. One other flaw is the elevators are tirelessly slow. If you have a large group waiting for elevators you’re gonna wait a little bit to get to your room. parking is free unusually very easy to find a spot-however the last night it was harder with them having an event in the ballroom Overall I highly recommend the crowne Plaza and will stay there again next time I go to DC.

Honestly, I’m still not sure whether to laugh or be baffled by my breakfast experience here. For $19.99, the buffet is pretty bare-bones: just your basic scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage, and some fruit. It's fine if you just want something quick, but the real entertainment was the service. Things got weird when we wanted toast. Apparently, the butter and cream cheese are kept under lock and key. When the staff member brought over the butter—retrieved as if it were a highly classified document from a secure vault—I asked for some cream cheese for the two of us. You could practically feel the hostility. She came back with exactly *one* packet. When I asked for one more, the look she gave me made it feel like I was asking for her actual kidney. She brought it, but the heavy sigh was loud enough to hear across the room. Even the juice is under lockdown and only dispensed at her discretion. The funniest part was at the end of the meal. I had the absolute audacity to want a second piece of toast, so I asked for one last cream cheese packet (which would have brought our total to two packets for the two of us). She flatly told me, "No more." As if we'd somehow blown through the table's cream cheese quota for the day. If you are looking for a relaxing, all-you-can-eat breakfast, I'd skip this one. But if you want a $20 masterclass in dairy rationing, it’s certainly an unforgettable experience.

I wish i could write a positive review. The property looks incredible but my stay was a short one. They overbooked the hotel. Though they did comp us the night at another property (18 miles in the wrong direction of our destination). I suggest calling before you go to make sure your reservation is booked. regardless if you get a message directly from the property an hour before you show up. thats right. we weren't notified until we got there. no phone calls no messages.

We love the breakfast lady I think her name Mel, she is very sweet and kind.

The management continues to disrespect our organization by not having enough staff to take orders, etc. There was one female (great customer service) who was taking orsers and making drinks. This is unacceptable.
- 3.5/5
Varieties. Tea and butter on demand? It should be openly available
- 2/5
The room itself was fine, but several basic service issues made the stay frustrating. The restaurant was closed with no prior notice. The room didn’t have a blow dryer, and when we called to request one, no one answered. We went down to the front desk and found no one there—after waiting about 10 minutes, someone finally arrived and said they’d send one up. After another 30+ minutes with nothing delivered, I ended up knocking on a neighboring room to borrow one. A little attention to detail and basic customer service would go a long way for Crowne Plaza.

Check in was smooth, and the room was very clean. Had a bad first night because for some reason, the AC did not work. Couldn't get any help. But, the breakfast buffet, and the staff were very good! Tried to take a shower my second morning...the bath getll bottle was empty. That was quite upsetting. I believe they should be refilled every morning, and shouldn't run out. Overall, a good stay. 4 stars
- 5/5
Great stay , the breakfast that you need to pay in order to be included is a dine in. You can’t bring it up to the room just a heads up.
- 4/5
Ok so the building itself was very nice, modern, clean. The breakfast was the same everyday so that was a bit boring, tho good. No microwaves in the rooms and my fridge didn't work properly so that was annoying. You had to microwave in the marketplace area near the lobby. Front desk was hard to get at times, they were polite. The cleaning staff were very nice. Overall i wish they had more to offer but it was comfortable and clean so i would stay again.
- 2/5
No microwaves in accessible rooms. The manager did not respond to the request to speak.
- 2/5
The main issue was the ventilation or associated heating and air was terrible it always felt like the heat was on even when the thermostat setting stayed at 65 degrees. On top there was only one roll of toilet paper in the room and the elevator had an button for closing the elevators was broken in which of you pushed it the button went straight through this was reported and when I left this morning the button was still bot fixed. Probably won’t come back tothis one

I did not like anything about my stay. From the moment I arrived the first contact at the customer service desk was negative. Not friendly not outgoing. Pretty much at like she did not want to be at work! My room was muggy and damp feeling. You could see the air filters were full of dirt and very obvious that they are not changed on a regular basis. Clearly explained why their air quality in the room was terrible and felt so muggy and damp. Housekeeping entered my room changed and made up only one bed (I had a room with double beds) and left all the trash in the room. That was disgusting. The ceiling lighting fixtures in the hall right outside the elevators had sooooo many dead bugs in them. You look up at the fixture and all you could see is tons of dead and what look like flies! So it’s very obvious that there are bugs flying around this hotel. Has to be, my room was on the 7th floor. I can only imagine what was in the lighting fixtures in the lower floors. Upon check out, just like check in, customer service was AWFUL!!!!! I walked over GREETED the rep, told her I was checking out and she looked at me and said you are good. No response to the greeting, no how was your stay or even thank you for staying. NOTHING AT ALL! So my overall rating is….NEVER AGAIN! This hotel is nasty, dusty, dirty and has poor customer service!
- 5/5
Clean , great customer service
- 2/5
This hotel has some good things and quite a few things of concern. I got a very reasonable rate for my 4 night stay. However, the hotel seems to want to make up for that in other ways. No water bottles provided in the room but you can buy them at their self serve kiosk that is more expensive than an airport. Smart water bottles retail for $8 each! The hotel’s apparent remodel is good. The lobby looks nice. Rooms pretty standard for that rate. Lighting isn’t great and the pillows are not comfortable but that’s normal in my experience. The room had most things you would want. My big issue was the cleanliness and service. The air vent in my bathroom was filthy. Stuffed with dirt and dust. I mentioned it each morning to the front desk who assured me it would be taken care of and each day it was not. Location-wise if you want to see downtown DC there is good news and bad news. Good news is there is the Greenbelt metro station locally which is at the end of they yellow/green line. Bad news is it’s either a 25 minute walk across things like a freeway overpass, or a bus ride that comes only a couple times an hour, or a $12 uber ride. I made it work but something to consider. I didn’t try the restaurant and the bar so cannot comment. If you are not needing to be in downtown DC and have a car for something more locally, this might be a fine hotel. If you are coming to see the tourist sites of DC, don’t let the good rate fool you. I’d look somewhere else.
- 2.5/5
It was clean The ac was not working room was hot
- 3/5
Did not clean the room
- 5/5
Food and drink were excellent. Friendly staff, and helpful.
- 3/5
When I checked in this Crowne Plaza took an hour and a half to check me in because they don’t recognize Hotels.com standard room designation between 1 King size bed and 2 Queen size beds … instead of checking in at 10:30 pm, we checked in closer to midnight … unacceptable. The next day the manager offered us a free breakfast. He was very professional and he acknowledged their systems lack of communication with Hotels/Expedia
- 3/5
Staff was amazing, but I was very disappointed in the room. The rooms ac was barely working in 90 degree heat and had stains all over the carpet. As well as left over towels from the last person.
- 5/5
Having to come down to the marketplace for ice. There was no ice machine on my floor.
- 1/5
I was hot the entire night, the ac was down.
- 1/5
It wasn’t to bad if it’s something of a quick stay but the rugs where dirty and it had a moldy smell
- 3/5
I would give them a better rating but they don’t like to return your deposit back to you. It’s been over a week and I’m still waiting on my deposit. I will never go back
- 3/5
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, albeit a bit on the cold side rather than hot. There was a big youth group staying and were very rowdy, made noisy into late nite and put their garbage at my door. I had to checkout at 5am and was unable to rest
- 2/5
Overall it was not the worse ever, there just a few things that need to be adjusted. Such as the ice and microwave only being available in the lobby while there is over 15 floors in the hotel. Also before assigning a room check to make sure all of the items are working, such as the bed lights and the room phone. There was an issue with the water being cold it did take a minute for the temperature to warm but the staff was also helpful is making sure the issue was resolved.
- 1/5
room was nasty, not clean and missing amenities in the rooms
- 5/5
A good, comfortable hotel for resting after a long day. Breakfast is not included, but overall the stay is pleasant and suitable for both short visits and business trips.
- 1/5
keep putting a hold on my card of $100 and I didn’t stay there
- 3/5
Parking was safe and easy, staff were polite, the lobby was very nice and clean. But my room refrigerator was broke upon arrival (hot air) which was upsetting. The front desk promptly called the maintenance man who came to check it out and replaced it with a new one. There was also no ice and you had to go to the lobby shop, go into a cooler and take ziploc bags of ice. After the first night it took housekeeping until 5pm to even knock to clean the room. At that point we just asked for towels and left out. Other than the minor inconveniences it was a clean property.
- 5/5
Everything was good and to my liking. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The room was okay, but the sheet on the bed had a hole in it. The hotel indicated they were close to the train or Marta Station, but if you don’t have a car, the walk was miles away. The cable went out several times during our stay, and the food at the restaurant was not good especially for the prices. The only positive for this hotel was that it was affordable. I would not stay here again.
- 2/5
Waited in line over 20 min to check in because they only had one person at the desk. They messed up our reservation and had us in the wrong type of room. Fire alarm went off at midnight and the had kids prank calling the rooms. Alarms didn’t actually sound in the rooms. They had people coming around and knocking on doors. A very bad experience and didn’t get much sleep.
- 5/5
When I first arrived the receptionist was nice and check in was pretty easy. My first room toilet was broken and the refrigerator… they quickly put me in another room which was much better. The bed was comfy and the room has black out curtains… no noise pretty quiet stay. The food was horrible but try at your own expense. I would definitely return.
- 5/5
The place is clean.
- 3/5
Hotel staff wasn't very friendly; the lady who was at the breakfast section was very rude.
- 5/5
It was a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
The room was spacious,
- 5/5
The gym had more equipment than most hotels.
- 1/5
The rooms were extremely stuffy no matter how low I set the thermostat. My tv didn’t have a signal for cable and the staff could have cared less. They offered me a new room on the last night of my stay. I was there for four days with my children. That made for a really boring stay on top of them not having a pool.
- 5/5
Nice hotel reasonably priced
- 4.5/5
One check-in person was pointedly stand-of fish.
- 5/5
Hotel is spacious and in a great location. Will definitely stay here again
- 1/5
I had a very disappointing stay. When I was taken to my room, the AC wasn’t working. I gave the staff a chance, and they moved me twice, but none of the rooms had functioning AC. They said an engineer would come in the morning, but I was checking out the next day. It was very hot in DC during my stay, and without AC I couldn’t sleep. Unfortunately, this ruined my trip. This isn’t what I paid for.
- 2/5
Fire detector went off for 10 minutes for no reason, the phone in the room was not working so I could not call the front desk, The air conditioning was not working and the room was very hot.
- 5/5
Room was clean and the staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
10/10 would high recommend
- 4/5

- 4/5
Our stay was an absolute delight. The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent.
- 5/5
Waitress at breakfast is excellent. Sweet and very friendly.
- 5/5
Very Clean and nice room Need more staff at the restaurant specifically at breakfast time
- 0.5/5
Worst staff
- 3/5
The bathroom was a little smelly when we arrived, like someone has just used it. The phone did not work.
- 3/5
Thank you for reaching out. I picked Crown Plaza College Park for my staycation because I attended a function there before. I didn't stay overnight, but added it to my list of places to stay. I appreciate the well lit parking lot and the over all cleanliness throughout the facility. I surly would not have made reservations for two nights had I known that there are strings attached with WiFi service. I hoped to do some studying, but couldn't because of a needed membership for the internet. Furthermore, having one microwave available for guest is just crazy! I went to use the microwave and found that someone had spilled something in and around it. I told the front desk, and Jessica said, "Ok, thank you." I asked if there is another microwave and she bluntly said, "No,"-barely lifting her eyes from the computer monitor. Aside from the absence of concern, she didn't make any effort to somehow correct the problem. Maybe, asking if I wanted to use it and calling some to clean the area would have been great. After my experience, I didn't want to avail myself to any other amenities. I couldn't help thinking that I would have gotten much better at a hotel that costs less. I felt really disappointed.
- 4/5
We stayed one night and it was alright. The room was clean and we felt comfortable. However the fridge didn’t work and the water wasn’t hot which was annoying, but other than that it was fine for a quick stay. I wouldn’t book it for a long trip, but I’d come back if I just needed somewhere to stay for a night again
- 4/5
Property is clean and offers everything you need to help make your stay comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location of property is convenient to local highways and has ample parking.
- 4/5
Why are there ice buckets in the room, when you have to go downstairs to get a ziplock bag of ice out of the market? Make it make sense. Overall, clean hotel, decent breakfast.
- 5/5
I mostly stay at this Hotel when I am in the area. Location makes for easy access to many things. The staff is always courteous and helpful
- 5/5
Great stay wonderful staff lll definitely be back
- 5/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Rooms was spotless, felt safe.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Very nice to have access for things you might need at the shop as well.
- 5/5
8/10 nice room!
- 1/5
There was make up on my pillow cases. The staff was rude. The guy seemed annoyed and all I was doing was checking in. Didn’t tell me anything about breakfast or anything else. The room was so cold and the shower and faucet water was freezing and it took forever for the water to be hot so we could take a nice hot shower. Honestly I want a refund in full.
- 2/5
At dinner, there were four people in our party, and all of our meals came out at different times. By the time my food arrived, everyone else had already finished eating. The service was very slow, and our waitress did not check on our table as she should have during the meal. We also experienced issues with the television in our room, which did not work upon arrival. Although it was eventually fixed, this did not happen until the second night of our stay. At check-in, the front desk employee spoke so quietly that I repeatedly had to ask him to repeat himself. He did not clearly answer all of my questions and failed to provide information about breakfast or other available amenities. The check-in process itself was also very slow and unprofessional. Overall, the service, communication, and timeliness throughout our stay were well below expectations. -
- 4/5
Kind staff and clean room
- 5/5
Nice place. Good value. Close to Univ MD College Park. If our daughter goes to school there we will be booking here often!!
- 4/5
Room was nice and staff a pleasure to work it.
- 5/5
I had a few problems with my initial room, but the person at the front desk was able to move our room.
- 4/5
Room was excellently cleaned!
- 4/5

- 3/5
The staff was respectful, and the room itself was decent. However, there were stains on the white comforter.

- 5/5
Everything was wonderful as well as Staff
- 5/5

- 5/5
Everything is good
- 2/5
1st room had a broken tv. Then they tried to downgrade my room because of inventory.?!?!? I had to argue with front desk just to get a comparable room. 2nd assigned room literally, no exaggeration, had a couple in the room already and they were having se% as i walked in. 3rd assigned room was decent but it did have 2 ill placed stains on the carpet. Hotel Bartender was terrible. After sitting AT the bar for 23 minutes without being greeted, she got an attitude with me for just ordering to go food and a soda after i saw her mess up 4 other ppls BASIC drinks during my wait!! I paid for breakfast and they didnt tell me the weekend times and weekday times were different so i missed out on breakfast for my second morning stay. Im not hard to please but this really wasn't an ideal experience.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my night stay, very comfortable environment.

- 5/5
Room was really clean and nice.
- 4/5
Staff, amenities, and quiet!
- 5/5
Great breakfast staff
- 3/5
The room door did not have the latch, we had 4 in the room but only 2 towels/washcloths, the “buffet” breakfast really isn’t a buffet, there’s only 1 microwave for all 18 floors of people, and lastly the “ice” machine was ice placed in bags and put in the freezer on the first floor. Maintenance is responsive and staff was very nice.
- 5/5

Everything was as expected. Hotel was quiet, the room was clean and the breakfast buffet was very good. Wish the in lobby bar/resturant was open later than 10pm after a long day of travel. No big deal, thank you.

- 3/5
Certain staff members was wonderful so off putting the stay wasn't much different as before I understand that the place needs to be updated when it comes to the carpet and other things overall couldve been a better experience.💯
- 1/5
It was an awful experience the room we stayed in had no heat. We called and they moved us to another room with no heat. I won't be staying there again!!
- 3/5
The staff was great! Room had lots of stains on carpet and upholstery. We booked for the hot tub. Surprise! There is none. Hasn't been a pool/hot tub in years!

- 5/5
Hotel did not charge us a pet fee and, when I couldn’t get back into my room for an important meeting, the woman at the check out counter ran upstairs with me to let me in
- 1/5
Room was very dirty, stains on sheets, stains on walls and room was not well maintained. Woman at the front desk when checking in was very nasty and smelled like marijuana. I was very disappointed since this was a Marriott hotel.

Both room and staff is lacking. No microwave in the room which was false advertisement, room was cold, fridge wasn't working and maintenance asked if we could take the plug out for him, and when we said no we didn't come to an hotel to work he said deal with it. Poor customer service.
- 5/5
We got in late after being on the road for 11 hours… Check in was smooth. Clean room, comfortable bed.
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 4/5
Room was clean and perfectly nice. Staff was efficient
- 1/5
The hotel is not good; multiple things were wrong. After unpacking, discovered my TV was broken and had to change rooms. No matter how the temperature was set, the room was freezing. There was no room service. I was charged for the free breakfast. The only ice machine was in the lobby, so had to go down 18 floors to get some. Although there was a do not disturb sign on my door, maid service came in. There was a reading lamp on the headboard that didn't work and the general lighting was so dim, you needed it so could not read in bed. There was a store downstairs for food and snacks that sold frozen food you could microwave, but there was no microwave in the rooms.
- 5/5
Great room, clean room!!!
- 5/5
Clean and great price!
- 3/5
The elevators were not that good. And there was loud music on the 8th floor most of the evening.
- 4/5
Didn't get the breakfast
- 1/5
didn’t attend the bar
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The property is very pretty. Staff is very kind. There was only one of three elevators working which caused a long wait time. The temperature in the room would not change so it stayed warm.
- 5/5
The breakfast was great
- 4/5
Decent breakfast
- 3/5
Only one elevator out of 3 were functional and would take a long time for 18 stories. Rooms not very clean and there were no bath towels when we checked in
- 2/5
Hotel itself wasn’t great. Heat was up very high in room when we got there. They moved us after I requested it, but not sure why it was that way to begin with. Breakfast was not good, we stuck to mainly anything packaged to be safe. We tried getting a beer on a Saturday night as well and were refused since the bar had “closed” at 9pm. For the most part however, everyone was very nice and friendly which was the biggest plus.
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
We were placed in a room that was occupied by individuals engaging in intercourse. We where moved to a suite with a tv that did not work, a bed with no linens, and a bed that uncomfortable. It was a terrible experience.
- 3/5
When checking in I was told where breakfast was but did not inform it was not included or make a suggestion for an upgrade to include it. The room was hot with no air conditioning. When asked to fix it they said they would. But they did not. I had to buy a fan from Walmart to move the air around. The hotel has 4 elevators but only 1 works. Makes it very frustrating when your on the 15th floor and you stop at every floor on the way to the lobby. On the day of check oit the staff is knocking on my door at 8:30am to clean the room, while I am getting ready to go. Check out is at 11am. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly
- 5/5
The restaurant food was very good.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Didn't get to eat there
- 1/5
3rd time this has happened staying here.
- 3/5
No heat in the room and when I asked to have the heat turned on, I was told ok but, it never happened, the girls at the front desk were too busy talking to each other to help.
- 3/5
My check in was terrible. The g Young girl had no sensitivity to welcoming an exhausted woman traveling. I asked if she could match price of online hotel. Com and she said no. My phone battery then went dead. I would have gone to another hotel if i knew where one was. She was not help ful and it took forever for me to book online. No internet in lobby,
- 4/5
Only thing missing was free breakfast and only one elevator was running. Other than that for the cost, amazing hotel. I truly enjoyed myself.
- 5/5
The stay www great
- 1/5
The check-in staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant was expensive and lackluster. The room was clean, but it was hot and the heating/air didn’t work correctly. The elevators were less than great - only one or two worked and they made terrible noises.

Clean and modern room easy access to place around it and helpful staff
- 3/5
My TV was not working.
- 1/5
Absolutely horrible from the start. We arrived to our room only to find that our keys didn’t work, and the door had a “do not disturb” sign on it. I informed the manager that someone was in our room, only for him to tell us to try the key again after reprogramming it. After the 4th time going up and down the elevator telling the front desk that the key didn’t work, an employee said she would just let us into the room because multiple keys weren’t working. Sure enough, she lets us in and there are people in the room, exactly like we told the manager. That is absolutely unacceptable, and we could have easily seen something we weren’t supposed to see. We were then told that we couldn’t get a refund from them due to our reservation being booked by a third party company. Easily the worst hotel experience we have ever had.
- 5/5
All the above. Very nice stay.
- 5/5
Clean room

Air conditioning didn’t work for the whole night stay . Called down to the front desk & was told there is nothing they can do about it .

It wasn’t good
- 5/5
Awesome experience
- 5/5
Front desk was not present. Looked around for 5 mins. Then they showed up and had attitude when they did show up. Abrupt. Unhelpful and informative. Had to ask about breakfast coupons and parking. A good front desk person would have explained everything and been present for people to checkin
- 3/5
The staff was lovely and very helpful.
- 3/5
Older hotel but mostly well maintained. Shower on 12th floor had delayed water pressure and incredibly loud as water passed through shower lines. Water never got hot, warm at best.
- 5/5
The location was great
- 5/5
The room was clean and very nice, no bad or stuffy odor!
- 2/5
The heat in the room did not start working until 8am. This made stay very uncomfortable. Will not be staying at this location again.
- 5/5
Older hotel but remodeled nicely with nice modern updates. No old hotel smell. All the staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast was extremely good and reasonable considering the DC area is very expressive. Lobby area was very nice

- 5/5
I did not have breafast

Room was clean, check in and out was quick and easy.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Staff was courteous
- 4/5
The room and facility was very clean. I enjoyed my stay. The only complaint I have is that my room stayed cold, no matter how high i turned the thermostat to. But other than that, it was good.
- 3/5
The property was in good condition and there were some places to walk the dog. It is a friendly pet area, but you did have people that do not know how to close a door so of course the dog will bark because other people in the hallway were being rude, even though they do have signs up to be quiet between 10 and PM and 8 AM unlike other hotels the breakfast you have to pay for they have a little vending area for you to get food out of overpriced and the ice you get from A chest in the lobby and it’s just a little bag of ice so if you need more, you’ll have to take a couple bags up to your room. It is very convenient to where we were staying only a mile away which is why we chose this hotel. I think I would try another one next time we came up.
- 5/5
Room was clean and staff was great

1 complaint - there was no ice available in the entire hotel
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
CLEAN ROOM NICE STAFF
- 2/5
The front desk staff was amazing. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. However, the bar/restaurant staff were as rude as I’ve ever experienced. Part of the issue is understaffing, which is not on them, however the crappy, dismissive attitude is on them. I could type 1000 words here but I certainly hope whomever was working Friday 11/21 has a better attitude next time.
- 4/5
Nice room, bar and restaurant open until 10. Reasonable prices
- 2/5
Rooms looked nothing like in the pictures. Lobby was the nicest part of the hotel. Elevator was creaky and one time it partially like leaned to 1 side. Then housekeeping tried to get into room b4 check out and bullied me in the hallway when I went to back my car. Asking when we were leaving so that they could clean the room. Check out was 11am it was still 10am
- 3/5
The food was good, but the room was seedy. There was water damage to the ceiling of the bathroom and generally the room was scraped, dented, and peeling. I expected more.
- 5/5
Great area and great staff. The only issue I had was my shower knob fell on my toe but overall nice hotel and will return..
- 5/5
Room was spotless and peaceful
- 3/5
It was fine
- 1/5
Had to change my room 3 times: 1st time was because the AC was broken and the sheets and towels were stained brown, the 2 lbs time was because a group of teens checked in the the surrounding rooms and were having yelling matches and running up and down the hallway and the third room is finally ok. I had to go down on 5 separate occasions to get new key cards because they gave me the wrong ones and because of the multiple room changes. It has been absolutely ridiculous and all that has been done is an “I’m sorry”
- 5/5

- 4/5

- 2/5
When I walked onto my floor, it smelled like weed. The TV didn't work. I had to call the front desk to get the wiring fixed and one night, I had to take the service elevator to my room. I'm walking through the kitchen with poor signage to find the elevator. A family and myself got on the wrong elevator that didn't take us to all of the hotel floors. One young lady decided to take the stairs up to her room. I was on floor 15 so that was not an option from floor 3. We had to go back to the elevator and get on the "right" elevator to access our floors.
- 5/5
Very nice and impressive hotel. Great place to stay for Maryland football games.
- 5/5
Didn’t get breakfast
- 5/5
The room was spotless and staff treated me with care courtesy.
- 2/5
Elevators broke, bathroom very dirty, extremely hot no air conditioner and it was November
- 2/5
There was only one working elevator upon arrival. It eventually stopped working also. They had us use a filthy freight elevator located through the kitchen area. There was no complimentary breakfast. When I asked about why at the reception desk, I was told that it was not selected upon booking. I personally will not be staying at this location in the future. I booked 3 rooms and could not get a bagel or piece of toast with being charged.
- 2/5
our first room was big & spacious- but 85 degrees, & fridge wasnt holding cold - maintenance came said they fixed it but it wasn't couldn't sleep all night due to the temp.. switched rooms, still a warm room, never got below 73 ish,no compensation for the first miserable night, ONLY 1 elevator of 3 worked, & there are over 17 floors & it was a packed hotel, there were signs to take elevator thu kitchen(WTH) but no signs how to get there- Staff was great tho Jake especially. would not recommend or stay again & I never write a bad review

Temperature control didn’t work in room. Room hot. Hotel not clean. Stairwells were dirty. Bar closed 1/2 hour before posted closing time. Bartender wouldn’t let you sit at bar because she didn’t want to have to clean it again. Wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean and good breakfast
- 1/5
The AC didn’t work in the room. It was 90° in the room. Couldn’t sleep at all and there are bed bugs on the room. I have red bumps all over my body
- 5/5
Clean and safe
- 2/5
You have to fix elevator!!!! It took forever to use it 😡
- 3/5
The room was pretty rundown. There were multiple stains on the carpet. Some of the towels were threadbare.
- 3/5
We would stay here again, but I can’t say it’d be our first choice .

It was a wonderful stay. I stay here everytime I visit Maryland. The room is clean and beds are comfy. I had a good nights rest.
- 5/5
Clean and modern. Plenty of parking and the staff was kind. Wish the bar stayed open later than 10pm though.
- 1/5
I experienced several issues with the room. The mattress had large sinkholes and exposed metal springs that could be felt when lying down, making it very uncomfortable. The thermostat was not functioning properly, and the lighting in the room was poor. Also, the floor of the bathtub appeared unclean. Hotel staff was notified about the mattress and sent up a blanket to soften the piercing of the springs. Terrible uncomfortable and hot night trying to get sleep. I would not stay here again.Staff said no help could be given due to full occupancy.

They really need to fix the elevators
- 3/5
The physical plant of the hotel was excellent with one major caveat: for most of our stay, none of the regular elevators was working, so our only option (for a high-rise hotel) was a single "service elevator". Also, our key cards continually didn't work, which was a real problem since getting back down to the front desk was an ordeal given the elevator situation. Lastly, the woman who worked the front desk when we checked in on Thursday evening had zero interest in customer service. The person who helped us on Friday evening was, fortunately, quite pleasant.
- 5/5
Would have liked to be able to lower the temperature a bit more than it was but we were stuck with 68 degrees F. apparently the HVAC is not acco The beds were very comfortable. Would have liked
- 4/5
Overall we had a nice stay. The rooms were spacious and generally clean however there was a musty smell. The staff was very nice especially the bartender Christina she was great. Location is about 25 min from dc and Ubers were pricey so wish we had picked a closer location to the city
- 1/5
No AC in rooms, Elevators did not work, Towels were limited, multiple guests had the same exact issues that we brought to stay here. The whole time I was getting yelled at by my friends for even picking this place. Bottom line they ain’t trying to fix nothing they just operating at this point. Won’t be back
- 3/5
The last time I stayed the service was spectacular, but unortunately not this time.
- 5/5
Great location, very clean and quiet!
- 5/5
Very clean and up to date
- 1/5
It’s sooo hot!!! No air can’t control air and no microwave in room
- 4/5
Was nice room, psrking not good
- 5/5
Love it
- 3/5
The facilities are nice and clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good with a variety of options (make sure you get the voucher from the front desk). My one issue was the wait to check in. Because we arrived close to midnight there was no one at the front desk despite a very busy lobby. I had to wait 15 minutes before someone appeared. Also the main light fixture in the room was out leaving very little lighting when we walked in.
- 3/5
The elevators are terrible. Long waits for an elevator.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was very friendly!
- 4/5
Great location
- 4/5
The breakfasr was not included.

Great!
- 4/5
The hotel overall was okay. Our room was in need of some attention, e.g. paint on the wall was peeling, and the carpet had some stains on it. Also, when we went into our room, there was no remote for the tv and it took more than an hour to obtain one. Having said that, it was quiet and we slept well for the one night we were there. Also, Michaela at the front desk is an asset to the hotel.
- 3/5
3pm Check-In, we arrived at 3:30pm to be told room is not ready as we were busy last night! Room allocated to us at 4pm only to find it was a Wheelchair access room!
- 5/5
The window light in room 1812 need to be checked, but the hotel and the room was excellent. I shall return for another stay soon
- 1/5
I did not enjoy my stay, I found a bed bug on my bed and all I was offered was complimentary breakfast. Not satisfied at all, being as though I’ve been here before, I expected more cleanliness
- 4/5
My room was very big & clean. Even though the AC had an issue but that was addressed quickly by a technician. There was a weird sound coming from the shower when opened but no big deal. I’ll definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
We have a broken night light, it’s too dark in the room
- 3/5
We requested rooms side by side since I’m traveling with two elderly and the staff was not helpful. One of the rooms had broken alarm clock, plugs didn’t work, neither tv nor the telephone. Unfortunately not up to standards.
- 3/5
Was never given room keys, so could only leave room one at a time. Refrigerator in room was broken, furniture badly stained, mirror falling off wall, there were no vending or ice machines, and our window looked out over an interior landfill area. Employees were nice, but seemed strained by conditions. Definitely not as good as you’d expect at this price point.
- 1/5
Moderately safe. Room was not cleaned until after the 3rd day. Consierge (Joseph) was able to assist us get our room in order. Our room was given to my brother who checked in earlier than we did by a night shift front desk employee. Failed to identify the ID with same last name. It took one hour and half for us to get another room. Only one elevator worked for 3 days for all occupants.
- 3/5
Parking lot is well lit. Easy access to all areas / highways. Staff is always professional. Minor issue with our room having to be moved, but staff were quick to resolve the issue.

They gave our room away to someone else and because of that it took 1 1/2 for them to put us in a room. Then we reserved two queens and got a king. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but left after one. The staff I will say that I worked with Hotels.com and they were able to get our stay comped
- 5/5
The room was clean. I did not use the gym or laundry on this trip.
- 5/5
Very good stay!
- 5/5
We loved our stay here! The hotel was very nice, and every staff we encountered was very friendly and welcoming. The location is 30 minutes from DC, which seemed perfect for the price we paid and located in a nice, safe area. Many military personnel were also staying in our hotel. The housekeeping staff took care of our room each day and on our last night, they surprised us by making swans out of our towels for us!! Thank you, Crowne Plaza, we will be back!

I book two reservations on Expedia for this hotel. I was a bit disappointed when I got there and they couldn't find one of my reservations. I'm not sure if the issue was with Expedia or with the hotel. I was unable to get the room that I book with two queen beds because the hotel was sold out. The hotel offered me a queen bed for the price I originally paid. I spoke to Jake at the hotel the next day and he was able to resolve the issue. Thanks Jake for bringing this issue to a satisfactory resolution.
- 3/5
Well, let’s start with entering the hotel where there is a bar that is open until 10pm. There was about 10-15 people there while we were checking in and they were being obnoxiously noisy and not told to keep it down by any hotel staff. The check in staff was extremely friendly and professional. Entering the room, stains on the carpets, on the lamp shade, on the walls, the bathtub was extremely stained or just not cleaned and the shower curtain needed to be replaced last year. The bed was pretty comfortable but noticed once we were in it that there were stains on the white comforter too. The tv will not stream any apps except pandora so you are stuck with about 20 local channels. The tv will also not allow you to cast any apps or video. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good and the dining staff was very accommodating. If you want ice for your room, they have bags of ice in the market in the lobby. Prices for snacks, drinks and water were extremely high so you might want to bring your own.

the hotel itself was very nice the room was nice and clean but when i booked the room with Expedia for the filters i checked free parking as well as complimentary breakfast in this nice looking hotel pops up it said free parking and complimentary parking which was not true me and my fiancé go get breakfast get our food sit door bless the food then a lady comes ask for a ticket she said this breakfast not free its $19.99 per person it will be added to your deposit that you left for the room that was so embarrassing everyone looking at us like we crazy they shouldn't advertise complimentary breakfast in they know its not true another problem i had was the internet it would not connect to my firestick every hotel i book i bring my firestick to watch movies because i know hotels only have boring basic channels so i called to get help the internet guy came in he couldn't fix the issue so he said something wrong with my firestick which was a lie I'm sitting here right now as i type this review watching Monday night football so the internet sucks then we needed toilet tissue and towels and rags it took a whole day to get the things we needed we actually got those items check out time Sunday i will not be returning to this property when its time for me to come to Maryland again nor will i recommend anyone their should be a note located in the dinning area stating breakfast is not free that will save embarrassing moments and the breakfast was not worth the 43 dollars they charged me.
- 3/5
no free breakfast, no ice on each floor, the hallway carpet are old, this does not fit the requirement of a 3 star hotel.
- 5/5
Very brief overnight stay.
- 4/5
It was clean
- 2/5
Rooms were horrible, the windows were filthy, half of the channels on the television didn't work, the telephone plug was broken. Waited hours for towels. Overwhelmingly disappointed
- 1/5
No ice machine on floors, only in bags. Breakfast was overrated and expensive, and all the restaurants were over 8 miles away.
- 4/5
Front desk were friendly and helpful at check in. The room was clean, but there was an issue with TV not working. We really didn’t appreciate the view from our room. Once you opened up the curtains all you could see was the graveyard of old furniture and mattresses. It appeared to have been a pool that had been closed and a place for old furniture. Not a good look.
- 4/5
We felt very safe, it was a convenient location while visiting the DMV area. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Could use some touch up paint on walls in lobby and in room. Air conditioning seemed off and toilet water ran all night.
- 5/5
Very clean rooms for being pet friendly. ADA accessibility features are appreciated. Could use a toilet seat lid to keep pets from drinking. Great location near College Park and Northwest Stadium. Convenient bar and snacks offered. Good safe parking. TV could be bigger but good selection of channels. Plenty of options for doordash/grubhub in the area. OK breakfast.

Great Experience
- 4/5
Great staff, clean and absolutely perfect location for our needs. The included breakfast was great! Great service as well.
- 3/5
Second time staying here. Property was a bit tired but clean. Hotel bar shuts down pretty early. Bed was comfortable enough. Food in the bar was decent. The staff was for the most part friendly. No restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is in the middle of an office park. Stayed three nights and told housekeeping the first day we didn’t need the room cleaned because my wife was taking a nap. I guess she took that as not needing to service the room our entire stay. That was the only hiccup to our stay.
- 5/5
Comfy, friendly and would stay, again!
- 2/5
The property was not clean (permanent stains on the carpet). They did not have extra towels to share with the guests. Overall, not the best experience, but you get what you pay for.

Only 1 complaint and it kinda ruined my stay. I was keeping my plant in the parking lot near my car and it got stolen on my last night there. Never got them back and it was quite devastating. Other than that great hotel. Deserved a 5 star review.
- 4/5
Breakfast not included
- 4/5
The hotel rooms are spacious. The staff is freindly. The hotel is old and needs renovation and i did not find the hallways too clean. But there is alot of parking and its really thoughtful that they have a microwave in the lobby that allows you to warm up your food. Overall a decent place to stay.
- 1/5
My Netflix on tv didnt work because staff says it wasn’t renovated but i called to verify these things and were told that everything works until i got there and found it it was false and the ac in my room didnt work

The hotel air condition could be updated
- 3/5
At check in they told us the time for breakfast in lobby. When we got our plates and started eating they told us $20 each. Almost all hotels offer complimentary breakfast so if it is NOT complimentary they should let you know at checkin!

I had an outstanding stay at the Crowne Plaza College Park – Greenbelt. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and attentive, making check-in quick and stress-free. The hotel itself is modern, beautifully maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere throughout. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, from the high-quality amenities to the excellent housekeeping service. The restaurant and bar were excellent—delicious food, great presentation, and attentive service. The breakfast in particular was a highlight, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The location is convenient, with easy access to College Park, Greenbelt, and surrounding areas, while still feeling quiet and peaceful. Parking was simple, and the hotel felt very safe and well managed. Overall, this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the area. Whether for business or leisure, I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza College Park – Greenbelt. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

- 1/5
Compared to my previous visit, this stay was terrible to say the least. There were not enough towels in the room and when we requested for some, they claimed they had no more towels available. They then started the blame game of accusing the linen/laundry delivery firm of incompetence. The phone was also not working and a service person had to come in to fix that. The bathroom stank as well. Breakfast at $20/head was abysmal. Even the coffee had a burnt taste. For an IHG hotel, this hotel is truly an embarrassment.

Fairly clean property, but amenities were lacking, and the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. Perhaps they were short-staffed.

Though it was just one night I liked the fact it was clean. Staff was nice.

Your reservation acknowledge went to trash. No reminder via text so I thought I had not really booked anything. Booked another hotel and then get dinged for no-show first night cost. Wont be using you again. Seriously, no text ? Even what I found in junk was minimal - the reminder had no link to the booking. Bye
- 3/5
The room was okay, the bathroom was dirty, specifically the door and showers . Front desk staff were very unhelpful and not willing to help. We had to speak to the manager, to be finally received the help needed.
- 2/5
Honestly it’s was a good experience but in the end that was not nice because there was some échoue with the Electricity I couldn’t do check out but they’re told me theirs will send me my final check they’re never did I been call many times no body care about. And i thing I been charge more than was the price for the room . Cause the price was suppose too two room but when I get there they charge me each roll with different prices. So for a IGH groupe hotel so Shame and disappoint .
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 2/5
It's been 2 months and they haven't returned my $100 incidental fee.. I've called and left messages still no response. Furthermore on the booking site they said breakfast would be included. Come to find out its $20 pp to even eat breakfast... the furniture in the room was broken and there were bright red stains on the floor . Save yourself the TROUBLE and MONEY of staying here
- 4/5
I like the safe area, lit parking lot. The room we had this stay was really run down - lighted mirror falling off the wall, plug in bathroom not working. The maid knocking on our door at 9am - when we had the do not disturb sign out.
- 5/5
Second time staying here and it was very pleasant.
- 1/5
I never went there. I asked for waiver. They bluntly denied it. I think it’s on fair and they set up a bad precedent. There was an issue with the date. I asked for adjustments of date or refund and they refuse to refund me or give me any waiver. It’s unfair. I’m pained! It’s a lot of money for me as a single mom. I booked for an event we had around the area. This is not fair.

Wks great for me
- 3/5
Maybe it was just our luck; they had a power outage but it took them over 24 hours to get the AC working. It was so humid and hot on my floor, when I called and asked what the issue was the front desk didn’t let me finish😭. Another day I had housekeeping wake me out of my sleep from profusely banging on my door and kept asking questions on weather or not we were supposed to check. I understand the concern but that whole situation could’ve been handled a lot better in my opinion. They also only have 1 microwave and it’s all the way in the lobby and another odd thing was the ice machine, it was all located on one floor, which to me is weird and inconvenient. Imagine having to go to 2 different floors for something u need. It gets kinda annoying. Overall I enjoyed my stay
- 5/5
Everything was so nice and clean
- 3/5
The front desk was unable to accommodate a request for extra pillows for the bed and met the request with an attitude and lack of professional communication. The restaurant had a modified menu and we both got food poisoning.
- 3/5
Con: The furniture in our assigned room was soiled, the phone and tv didn’t work properly. When we complained we were told it wouldn't or couldn't be fixed and was not offered a solution. We had to ask for another room. Pro: They gave us a better room. Breakfast was offered daily and the wait staff was friendly. Con: No variety in the menu. The same foods everyday and it ended at 9:30 am would have preferred 10am. Pro: Water and ice offered in the lobby area. Con: No ice machine on the floors, inconvenient. Overall this hotel doesn't have many amenities. I was disappointed the pool was closed. It did not meet my expectations and I would give it 2.5 stars. Our flight was delayed due to bad weather which caused us to arrive a day late and we still had to pay for the missed day without any consideration and when we asked for a courtesy late checkout we were told "No" until the power went out leaving everyone without lights and air conditioning in hot weather for several hours and we had to ask again before they said okay to an extra hour. I would have appreciated a little more accommodation considering the circumstances.

The bistro had good food and the bed was comfortable.

Unprofessional staff. Only one of the elevators was working. They didn't bother to create, making faces when requested for anything. No one should stay there.

Air Conditioner never cooled room down. Provided ice in small ziplock bags (no ice machine)

There should be more food options available for late arrivals after 10 PM. Since local eateries can be 20 minutes or more away from the hotel.
- 5/5
The room was spacious, clean, bed comfortable, carpet throughout hotel clean and modern looking as well as decor. We definitely will want to stay here when we are in the area again.

Everything was excellent, as usual. I usually don't submit reviews. This is the first time I have completed a review of this property (Crowne Plaza Greenbelt). I mention this because two reviews were recently submitted using my name. Please disregard those reviews. Thank you.

The open seating of the restaurant in the lobby discouraged our dining ideas and we sought dinner off site.

The hotel was good i gove 3 because reception people not friendly and also they looks like angry when you meet them. The only issue was reception that's why my rate was low. otherwise all good also breakfast area was good and they good people. Thank you!
