Waterslides for great fun for all of us between 11 and 81! Food, especially the buffet was outstanding and something for everyone’s taste. Room comfortable. Would have liked a chair in the king bedroom of the grizzly bear. Old people like to sit to put on jeans sometimes!! overall a wonderful experience for our twin granddaughters to celebrate their 12th birthday

Be prepared to see a lot of charges on your card. I booked my stay through Expedia and paid it. I when I got there they said they needed to do a $200 hold on my card for any incidentals. I bought the “meal pass” which was a rip off. $175 for $120 credits for food and it was not explained by the employees. They said it covered breakfast, lunch and dinner. The credits were basically enough for dinner and breakfast. Dinner was $25 a person for the buffet and the breakfast buffet was a little cheaper. The extra was charged to my room credits. Less than 24 hours later I was charged another $200 because I was nearing my $200 hold. Less than 24 hours after that I was charged another $162. Total amount for the room was $820 plus parking and meal plan $231, $200 first hold, $200 second hold and now $162 =$1,613 for a day and a half. It is ridiculous and not worth it at all.

Beautiful facility. All day fun for children and adults. The rooms were clean and spacious. We can't wait to go back. 🙂

We loved Great Wolf in Grapevine, TX. The experience as a whole was fantastic. My youngest 11 to my oldest 16 had a blast. I felt safe and things were well maintained and clean. I do wish there were more and better showers at the water park. There were only two and we had to wait forever. Those bathrooms seemed to be the only ones that were not updated. The staff was super cool and there is so much to do. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The table in the room was sticky because it needs to be refinished and it was small for a family.

Amazing staff. Went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday special. Loved that the room had enough towels for the whole family plus a few extra.

It's a great place to spend with family, I promise your kids will have a blast.

The waterpark was fun for our kids. I do feel like it was less crowded (Sunday-Monday in May before school gets out)- so I imagine our experience was unique.

The room was very dirty, the sheets were dirty, kids bed no covers. Overall the room was not ready for our visit.i was on a business visit with my daughters . We let the attendant know and was aware the room was dirty. It was late and we had a long drive my daughters were tired of the road trip. I am very disappointed will not come back

They never cleaned my room

Tried to check in at the kiosk, but was ignored by the staff. The place was too crowded by day pass people. Everything was way over priced.

It was hot and uncomfortable the AC didn’t work We usually go to the GWL in LA California and it’s amazing, this one in Texas is run down and the staff didn’t help at all , we paid full price for our stay and they didn’t offer anything besides a late check out

As soon as we checked in, I had to call to get our room re-cleaned. There were sticky globs on the vinyl floor and bedside tables. Our room had an upstairs sleeping area and the carpeted staircase had visible stuff in the carpet. When the cleaning staff swept the stairs, the dustpan was covered in the dirt and bits of trash that wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. And the water park area was gross too. Even when we arrived within half an hour of park opening, there were globs of hair and old bandaids on the ground. And the water features were flowering with rust. We’ve been to other GWL before and I was really really disappointed in the way this one was managed.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. It is definitely a family friendly and safe place for children. We used the hot tub and it was very pleasant, except for the foam it produced.

Adult only hot tub had no one to regulate that. Kids were in there every day. Bowling should have instructions on how to get tickets. There was only one working elevator for the entire weekend WORST part of the trip

Check in was a disaster, the Lady was dumb as a rock, kept making mistakes, told me a room would be ready in 30 mins, I waited 2 hrs, then another dumb lady suggested they are not even in communication " not in the loop" when it comes to getting rooms ready. I wont ever be back, period

Wonderful experience

The Hotel is great, the kids had fun. The only thing they need is the bar to stay open past 10pm at least till 12am. Us adults need some time to unwind after dealing with the kids all day I do like the new renovations on the lower level.

Check in was ridiculous, staff were not overly friendly or helpful. We were there on an extremely busy weekend and we were not impressed with the staff. Our bathroom blow dryer didn't work, the room air conditioner didn't get cold, and the floors were gross. We did enjoy the water park, but spending over $1,000 a night, we were disappointed.

This place is amazing for families with kids or if you enjoy indoor Waterparks. When we arrived it did take a little while to get checked in. Once in the front Rosy was very friendly and offered a pass for all of us that was very convenient. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Our room was amazing and very clean.

This hotel is for kids. Totally family-oriented. We didn't have children with us, and the staff put us in the back if the hotel with an alternate entrance that kept things nice and quiet and convenient for us.

The hotel is good. Very outdated needs work done. Our facet in the shower was hanging on by a thread. Moldy tubs, and no shower fan. There was only one area of elevators for the whole hotel. Which was a pain. The kids water park was cool. I didn’t get in the hot tub or hot springs because they were really small and so many people were crammed in there. The line to check in took forever and so many people were getting annoyed took almost 45 minutes just to get checked in. They have kiosk but half of us couldn’t check in on there. I’m not sure if I’ll ever stay there again but my niece enjoyed it and that’s what matters.

It was 11 PM when we spoke with them on Saturday night that he was able to fix the issues given us a free complementary night for future visit. We truly hope managers and corporate see this and recognize what a gem they have on their team. Another 30 minutes wasted on top of the 10 to check-in. 2. Slippery: around the water park area, floor was slip resistance - however, the bathrooms near the park were very slippery - crocks won't save you. You've been warned. 3. No napkins: this place has an issue with napkins-at the buffet, napkins are very hard to get-so hundreds of people are handling the same utensils you use you pour food in your plate 4. Food: fireside grill was great, but, all the other food outlets tastes bad, including the buffet, and overpriced 5. Reservation number: many QR codes we scanned asked for our "reservation number" - but since we booked on Hotels.com, we were never given the internal reservation number. Inconvenient.

The room was so big but the jetted tub inside my room so so dirty whwn we turned it on for the night to relax the water was brown and smelled so bad. It took over 45 minutes to fill up so we drained it and did it again the next night with the same result I was so disappointed as we paid extra for that room and did not get to use the jetted tub everything else was excellent.

While this property is super kid friendly, there were many issues beyond the activities. To begin with. Our room had several issues. The first one being the tv wasn’t working. It didn’t even have all of the parts connected to it. Several of the outlets did not work or even hold a plug inside of them. When I went to blow dry my grand-daughter’s hair the blow dryer started fire and filled the room with smoke. When I called the front desk the desk clerk offered to bring a new blow dryer but didn’t bother to come and get the old one. When I asked to speak with a manager she said there wasn’t one there and there would not be one on site until the next morning, “but not too early”. There was also an instance where the second floor was filled with smoke and an announcement went over the intercom stating there was an issue. When my husband went outside to check what was happening doors, were close closing off parts of the hallway. This may seem to be safe, but there were many kids running around by themselves and in an emergency they would not be able to get to their rooms or parents with the hallways closed off. There should be posted signs reminding parents that children should not be unattended and if they are they could have trouble getting back to their rooms in an emergency because hallways will be closed off. While the idea of this is park is great there needs to be more safety precautions and the rooms need to be fully inspected ensuring everything works properly and safely.

On the other hand, the hot tub was AMAZING!!! The wave pool was relaxing. There are lots of seats & tables, & it wasn't overcrowded. The atmosphere was pretty cool. The room was nice and clean & we had plenty of towels. This resort is great for families & children. Though the food was expensive, it was really yummy & they gave us a lot. Since it was our anniversary, we were given a complimentary dessert at the restaurant, so it was really nice and thoughtful of them. The service was great, & all of the workers were so kind & nice. We might go back again sometime, especially for that hot tub. The jets in that thing were AWESOME. They are great for a massage and sore muscles.

We did the buffet paid aroud $75. For 2 adults and 1 kid. They had flies landing on top of the meets pork lion and roast beef. That killed our appetite!!!

Only complaint was the AC in the room did not work very well. The rest of the place was amazing!

Strictly okay. The pipes are rusted and there is dusty mold on the steps of the lazy river. Also it gets so crowded with the double floaties that you are in traffic jam. Rooms were clean and food was great. The staff did some activities for July 4th weekend which was very summer camp like.they had balloon artists, bubble machine

We got to our room at 4:16 p.m. And it wasn't clean. We didn't even have sheets or clean towels to use. We called the office twice between 4:16 and 5:00 and was told that maid service was coming and was even hung up on the second time by a gentleman by the name of Stephen. Took my family downstairs and enjoyed the water park and got to our room by 9:00 only to find out our room is still not clean. We practically had to beg management to either give us a new room or to clean our room. 11:00 p.m. came and our room is still not clean so we left manager said that she would give us a full refund through Expedia for our our 3-day stay

Only thing I liked was that my daughter had cheer camp here and it was convenient to stay a night. Wanted to eat at the buffet but there was flies literally just sitting on the food.

There is two much walking to get around

It took 3 hours to check in. We were sent to 3 different rooms and ended up in a double queen after reserving a King Suite with a fold out. Our first room was filthy. Second room had other people in it in bed. We left after the first night and were told to expect a refund for second night from Expedia which we still haven’t received any communication on. The lady helping us at GW was absolutely amazing. And beyond helpful. There was only so much she could do. We hoped the food would’ve been better once we got to eat it warm after having to move 3 times and end up eating it cold the first night. It did not get better. The kids would never know the difference, so there’s that! Our 5 year old thought it was awesome, so I’m glad we went to experience it. But I don’t think we’ll be going back again.

Guest services needs more training. We were told several different check out times, we were not told about how the charges were going to be done (yes we purchased items but everything that was charged to our room was in increments of 50.00, just let us know in advance so a person will not get shocked over certain charges)

Rooms could use some updating for the price. The buffet while good is not worth $24 a person. I would recommend getting the packages because everything there extra is very expensive.

I took my daughter and two grandsons. We all had a blast at the water park, story time, and in the room.

I love the staff was so accommodating and the water park was so amazing. I took my 8 year old child who loves water, so indoor waterpark was a huge success. There was also convenient food (both Buffet and restaurants) inside the premises. All in all-I would highly recommend it for family with kids!

If you took a Motel 6 and attached a water park to it, it would be nicer than Great Wolf Lodge. The entire experience, from the self-check in kiosks, to the incompetence of the entire staff was low rent. Let’s not mention the quality of the crowd (dads opening beer bottles with their teeth) or the plastic blankets they give kids in the bunk beds. We left after two hours at the water park. No way we were staying in that rat hole overnight.

Stay was great but the app they had me download was terrible. First, it didnt have 3 people in my party. They texted me and i texted back explaining this. I was told it would be updated in a few minutes. It was never updated. I reached back out and they said it would update the following day. Then my booking completely disappeared. I texted and was told to delete the app, redownload it, and start over. No thanks. I checked in like normal and thank goodness they had the reservation when i got there. Fire alarm went off when we were in the waterpark and scared our little kids, but thats not GWL fault.

Everything was accesible, clean and very comfy rooms

The Double sofa is very hard to sleep on.

The kids loved the indoor activities.

My family has a great time - fun for our oldest (high school), youngest (kindergarten), and in between

There were alot of things that needed fixing. The pull out couch was broken. The shower spout was falling out and had been recaulked many times. The water diapensed from spout and shower withoit option for one. We had kid and 96 yr old grandma so thins was inconvenient. Bars were out of all featured drinks on a tuesday night. And we were charged for parking, which would have been ok if anyone had told me this was going to automatically go on my incidental charges. The water park was nice and i was impressed by the attention the life guards where giving. But the floors needed to be cleaned more often, they were dirty. Also lines for slides where very slow moving, there werent even many people in the line. We also had to ask for our room to be cleaned and towels changed.

Not so great was that I was incorrectly charged an additional $600 on my bill in checkout. And only noticed this when I checked my credit card bill. The overcharge was reimbursed quickly, but please make sure you check charges after your stay.

The only thing I didn't like was the food buffet, which was very expensive and the food was terrible.

A lot of the staff was very nice. Some of them were not friendly at all and when you’re dealing with kids, I don’t think that’s right. Way too expensive but they had a good time.

The best

The kids had fun, but this hotel is severely in need of repairs and maintenance! Disgustingly over priced. The AC didn't work, the shower had a steady stream that couldn't be turned off. And wow the lack of accepting cash to the poor quality elevators! Its definitely time for a renovation!

The check-in process needs some improvement. The kiosks do not work, so everyone stops at the kiosk and wastes time before lining up at the desk, which takes even longer.

Great time

Water park is amazing, however, rooms are very plain and in need of a little repair. We were moved because of heat not working and then electrical didn't work in 2nd room. Staff was very kind and helpful - just disappointed in condition of rooms and lack of in-room amenities.

We had a blast, only complaint I have is my AC in my room didn’t work well & it was kinda hot at night and the walk from the parking lot to your room is pretty brutal so be ready lol! The elevators are always pretty full so taking the stairs was the easy route lol. But overall we had the best time! Great place to bring your kids, like the lady told me while checking in, it’s a resort for kids!

Staff was excellent in helping us find our lost bag. Ty!!!!

Kids had a blast!

The room was nice and clean but the pool area is terrible. Very germy and unsanitary. This is my second time staying at this location and both times my kids came home sick.

Every thing you need for a family vacation in one spot

I called multiple times about my heat was not working they sent someone to fix it and it read 72 degrees on device but when they scanned room it was at 68 degrees I was cold my whole stay I requested a extra day because it was my son birthday and he was mad because it was cold and everyone we invited left because are room was cold they said they can put us in another room but my son has autism and if he would have switched rooms he would have been soo mad..but as far as hotel I love it I come here every year in feb 12 to celebrate my son birthday this year was great as far as every year but my room was so cold they told us we could stay untill 2 and I didn’t wanna get a refund I just feel like we should get a free stay for next day because of how cold it was and how cold it still is

No hot water and staff would do nothing to help with this!

Our son got a chemical burn in both eyes due to the excessive chlorine in pools. We spent 7 hours in the ER and two visits to the Ophthalmologist . I did call the hotel to share this information in hopes of saving another family. Upon calling I was directed to the aquatics department, I left a message, no return call. Please keep in mind my only goal in calling was to report the incident so they could check the levels in pool and monitor to prevent further harm to other children. I got zero response back

The room wasn't ready in time for check in for over two hours after it was supposed to be ready, the power to the facility went out a couple of times during the stay and one night the fire alarm went off, but was a false alarm. The room was nice and convenient to the tradeshow I was attending and easy to get to and from the airport. For the amount of money that was spent, the least they could do was have the room ready at 4 PM.

It’s a great place for families. Just don’t need anything from house keeping. Like towels or toilet paper. You will have to go yo the front desk at least 3 times for service. We stayed 3 nights with 5 people in each of our rooms

Had very little hot water both mornings we stayed. Interesting we had hot water in the afternoons and evenings.

I came around 2 pm & I get it room wasn’t ready so front desk told me they would texts me so went swimming didn’t get a texts so I ask a worker that was at the pool so he reached out to front desk they finally sent me my room number by a texts after 4 pm

Food was horrible
