Our stay was a great experience, no issues. Breakfast was excellent.

If you just walk into the lobby you will not leave ;if you stay one night you will not want to leave ;this is a five star hotel and it shows from the front desk to the waitresses waiting on tables to the clean up crew excellence is top priority.All i can say is Thank You.

The pool is unique being both inside and an outside pool

The staff were amazing and so helpful! This particular property has a split indoor/outdoor pool feature that my kids did enjoy. It also has complimentary breakfast and dinner options with an added bonus for adult guests 21 and older (wink). All around, everything was a great first-time experience for me because I had never stayed with this chain before. My room was spacious with gorgeous views. And my room was immaculately clean. Definitely will seek them out wherever I stay from now on

Very clean, comfortable room, very comfortable bed incredible breakfast biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, and pancakes The only thing that I would caution anyone about staying there is if you want to get in on an early check-in on the weekends forget about it. They’re very busy.

The hotel was clean rooms arranged neatly. I enjoyed the cocktail hour specifically, it was very busy which was expected. I stayed on the fourth floor and the room above mines was noisy…it sounded like bowling bowls were being dropped on the floor. Overall, it didn’t ruin the stay completely.

Breakfast and what they call a happy hour but can easily be dinner are better than most other hotels.

The hotel was immaculate, that staff was warm, courteous and helpful, the pool and hot tub were closed early and had many people so we didn’t use, gym was nice, and breakfast was awesome with so many options not your normal continental breakfast at other hotels - this was like breakfast at a buffet.

Breakfast was the best offering of any other hotel that I have stayed at that includes breakfast in your room rate. The location is within walking distance of a Starbucks and several other food choices from casual dining to a steak house. More options in the snack area near the front desk would have been preferred (i.e. more candy options, healthier (nutrient dense) food options, macro balanced meal shakes, etc.).

Location was perfect for us. Easy in and out, yet close to Richmond and Short Pump, our two places of interest. Hotel was very busy, yet we didn't have to wait for anything. They knew how to handle large groups and holiday weekends. Decor was nice and clean. Room was nothing super-special, but it was clean, modern, and well-maintained with free, no-hassle internet, decent TV, mattress, etc. This is important; even though there were lots of teen-age athletes staying there, there was little noise in our room. I think the place was built to a higher standard than many. We will come back here for sure.

Really enjoyed my stay

We arrived around 1:00am so we didn't 7 to take advantage of the complimentary pop corn or happy hour, and the restaurant was closed by that time so the convience store in the lobby was helpful to get a bite before bed. I grabbed a few digorno pizzas to microwave in the room. No plates or utensils so we got creative with it. The complimentary breakfast was nice. Late night front desk guy could be friendlier but otherwise 👍👍

The stay at Drury Plaza Hotel was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, and courteous. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations as it was buffet style service and pancakes cooked on the skillet. The location is minutes from Short Pump shopping and dining district which will give you vast choices to shop and discover eateries.

Love this hotel! Very polite staff, good breakfast and evening food, clean, spacious rooms, and very quiet. We had a room right near the elevator and I never heard anyone (and the hotel was packed with soccer teams). The 24/7 coffee was wonderful, close to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and more. Would recommend and will be back!

Super clean room, staff was beyond kind and patient even with other customers, happy hour is fantastic. Only downfall is the AC (stayed twice in different rooms) if you get hot at night, it’s very hard to keep the room below 68° and that’s with it set at 64°. Other than that, everything was fantastic and I’ll be booking here always

Highly recommend removing the wall-to-wall carpeting in guest rooms and replacing it with area rugs or hard-surface flooring to further enhance cleanliness standards. The carpet in the living room area of my room was stained, which unfortunately detracted from the overall impression of the space. I experienced a similar issue at another Drury Hotels property in Texas, where there was a noticeable stain on the bedroom carpet. Almost chose another hotel because of the full carpeting in the guest rooms. While the overall stay was pleasant, modern upgrades — including updated flooring, higher-grade towels, and improved soap dishes in the bathrooms — would go a long way toward enhancing the guest experience and encouraging repeat visits to Drury Hotels properties.

One of the best properties we stayed on. Aside from usual free breakfast, it also has complimentary dinner. Money is all worth it in thia hotel. I would commend Tara Lawrence who was very approchable and accomodating. It was perfect for a staycation for my daughter's birthday.

Staff were incredibly friendly. My husband and I both commented on how happy the employees were. Room was clean and comfortable. You cannot beat the deal with their free buffet in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Food is fresh and they have an excellent variety. Where possible, we will always stay at Drury when traveling!

We loved the happy hour from 5:30-7:00. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff was friendly and on top of everything. The pool and hot tub was well maintained and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

Our stay at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Richmond was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had! The room was exceptionally clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, the bath linens were thicker than those found in most other hotels, and the water pressure and heat in the shower were just right. Most importantly, the complimentary breakfast buffet featured vegan food options (more than just fruit) which is indeed a rariety! Thank you!

Second time I've stayed here. I was impressed with the morning and evening dining options. Being able to NOT have to leave for food or a drink, especially at the end of a long day, is worth it's weight in gold, especially when the room rate makes it accessible.

Staff was friendly, room was comfy and spacious, all food was delish, both pool areas were really nice, the only down fall was the inside pool could have used a little more ventilation. The "spa" was very hot and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!

The property was in a great location. The dinner was seemed to have been rushed; the hotdog buns were cold and the meat balls needed to be cooked a little longer.

It’s beautiful. The staff bend over backwards to make sure you have what you need during your stay. It exceptionally clean. Just wonderful. The choices of their dinners. I have stay here on 3 different occasions on different days of the week and the menu was the same, bbq, hot dogs and nachos. Give that a break.

The Richmond location is top notch. The hotel has a luxury feel. The room was clean, the breakfast served was a hot breakfast (which is definitely a plus). You will not go wrong with this location.

I love staring at this Drury. It’s always clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and super nice. At check-in, we mentioned to Emily that it was our anniversary and she gave us a bottle of prosecco. So thoughtful of her. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations, with a pool, hot tub, kickback hours, free drinks, complimentary breakfast, and free parking, making it arguably the best bang for your buck. When we return to Richmond, we will likely stay here again.

Everything! The hotel was great, comfortable, clean, modern, close to i95, and a great price. Complimentary dinner, breakfast and 3 drinks per adult a total plus!!! Nothing to complain about, I will note that one worker from the bar (I believe her name is Jackie) was not too friendly/social.

Drury does all the basics right!

The first room the gave us toilet would not flush. No maintenance on staff due to late night. They put us in another room which was a suite and upgrade. It was really nice but the night stand next to bed was dirty also bath tube had dirt in it. I cleaned odd night stand and thankful the tube was separated from shower so we didn't need to use it. Left a note for maid that we didn't make the mess in the tub

We've stayed here a few times over the years for our anniversary. The rooms are clean and we love it here, but this time the bed in our suite was HORRIBLE. It seems they changed the bed to a box spring mattress...the worst. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our staycation and loved reconnecting.

It was my first time staying at this hotel, so I’m comparing it to other hotels across America. I’ve traveled along the East Coast and through the Midwest, and I must say this hotel was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Great breakfast, fast internet, coffee available all day, a nice pool, hot tub, and a small gym — all these amenities made my stay awesome.

Breakfast was OK. Crowded, self-service, news playing on TV which I detest. Eggs were adequate. Lot's of sweets. Potatoes were terrible - dried out, hard, and tasteless. Breakfast - crowded buffet breakfast is not my favorite. More attention to the food, eg terribly dried and hard potatoes.

That the hot tube closes at 10 and there's not cut of time for the kids in the hot or pool area so the adults can at least have an hour to them selves a suggestion but my stay was wonderful as usual

The hotel is in a great area but it was ok as far as cleanliness. My shower had someone else's hair in it which is a turn off. Other than that, the room was fine.

Great place… only issue is there is a women at the front desk who uses her phone all the time and deals with people as if they are a nuisance. Rest of the staff is helpful and seem to go out of their way to be helpful.

This place is always top notch. It is always clean and you can even smell the cleanliness. When I checked in on the 2nd floor, the room across from me was being cleaned by a housekeeper. She spent ample time in there. When I went back out after going in my room, she was still cleaning. Outstanding work.

The pool and spa was absolutely amazing! There are no ending machines or options to purchase drinks/snacks other than at the front desk, and during our stay, the front desk stayed very busy. We really enjoyed the kickback hour that made up for no vending machines!

My room was cold and it would not warm up. Two hours after checking in I decided to check out due to the temperature not rising or warming up in the room. I had my coat on the entire time. I do appreciate the staff being so sweet and helpful about everything. The room was clean for the most part although there were a few visible stains on the carpet. All in all it’s a nice hotel with great accommodations it’s just not for me. If you don’t mind being cold you might love this place. There’s plenty to do in the area.

Beautiful, modern building in the heart of town. Everything you could want is very close by. Clean, modern hotel lobby and you’re happily greeted by friendly, professional staff. Guest rooms are modern, squeaky clean, with comfortable beds. They offer so many great things with your stay it’s like Christmas! This is my second stay in a month and I will definitely stay here when I’m in the area. Referred my brother and his wife who stayed a few nights ago. They loved it, too. Please treat yourself to this great hotel, you will not be disappointed! Enjoy your stay!

At 2 am I’m not changing rooms. SECURITY should tell them to be quiet. It’s not my job to police the hotel. Plus the breakfast food is free but the quality is sub par! Why not add 5 bucks to person or? and upgrade the food. The bread products were generic and tasteless. Sad Stay in RICHMOND

I feel the amount was kind of over priced over 300 for 1 night being as though I was under the wrong impression the food wasn’t that great but my kids enjoyed it so that is all that mattered

Hotel was a party house. Hallway was filled with marijuana and loud noise until 4AM. Breakfast buffet was the best hotel breakfast I ever had. Dinner buffet was okay. Will not stay at the Richmond location again. May try another location in Kentucky or Tennessee.

Always a good experience when I stay at Drury Plaza in Richmond, Virginia. I left too early to have breakfast, but it has always been an asset to this stay.

Truly enjoyed our stay and the activities for the New Year. Great food and wonderful friendly service from everyone onsite! My only concern is I think the hot tub should be for Adults Only and not allow kids to swim in it.

The one manager I believe her name is Tara. This place is wonderful but when Tara is on staff it is amazing every single employee is working their hardest. Tara is cleaning dishes off the table, taking care of the front desk, talking to each of the clients that are staying there. Just doing an absolutely above and wonderful job. She really should be reprimanded that is unbelievable

The room smelled of covered-up-smoke. The restaurant bar was incredibly slow and took over an hour to get a sandwich. The entire first floor lobby/restaurant is huge and open, loud, smells like chlorine, and there are kids running everywhere. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a king suite and it was thoughtful designed....spacious living room area, very large bath with a separate soaking tub and shower. The happy hour was lovely, but we wanted a meal and better cocktails, so we opted for the restaurant. Surprisingly good food! My one and only complaint is having to call the desk at 3 am because the room above ours was so noisy with yelling that it woke us. The front desk responded quickly, and within 45 minutes, it settled. Losing 2 hours sleep when you've been looking forward to uninterrupted sleep....

The hotel staff was pleasant however i was placed in a room that was used by a smoker which triggered my asthma, but i staff moved but was aware of the smell before they bit me in there which was a bit sad

Not all “pet friendly” rooms are created equal. It was nice to have rooms that don’t smell dingy. Seems like it was either recently built or recently refurbished. Either way everything was great!

We had to have our room changed, both adjoining rooms had dogs that never stopped barking. We were put in a different room, not happy about that after driving 7 hours. Will never stay at this hotel chain again.

The rooms were clean, though the amenities provided are not that complete (no facial wipes, no shower caps, no body lotion etc). The Wifi and parking are free. The breakfast really was well prepared and varieties are good (fresh fruits, eggs, sausage), it would be nice if they can add bacon. The pool was large and had a connected portion to the outside. We didn't go in though. My family had a pleasant stay with good sleep there. We would stay here again if we visit Richmond some other time.

Carly, at the reception desk, was absolutely fantastic, greeted me with a warm smile, and chatted with me for a bit about my travels (and how it’s my first ever time in Richmond, VA) before gifting me a complimentary room upgrade to enhance my— already wonderful— stay in Richmond :) If you walk into the hotel to check in and see Carly at the front desk, just know you’re in great hands!!!

Staff was very nice and accommodated us when the room wasnt what we thiught had paid for. Every staff member we encountered acknowledged us and made us feel welcomed. The room was big and didnt feel like a typical hotel room and was very quiet all around us. The kick back hours for food & drinks was such an awesome experience. We arrived late Friday for a 2 night stay. Check in went smoothly no complaints. We had a queen double room with a sofa sleeper. One of the beds had a large, obvious stain so we needed a new comforter. Not ideal after a long drive to have to go back downstairs to fetch bedding. Our room phone would not work and there was no housekeeping on staff in the evening. The room we received had no separation between living and sleeping areas which is the reason we have always loved this hotel in the past. The sofa sleeper mattress had seen better days and could use replacing. Every other aspect of our room seemed fine. The breakfast food is always great for a family, with options to suit every taste. Our two night stay totaled around $700 so the lack of service for the room was a little disappointing.

This property is super convenient, located right off the interstate, close to a variety of shops and restaurants. We were especially happy when Alison at the front desk was able to switch our room after we realized we were right in the middle of several rooms of energetic, loud teens. She moved is a few floors up to a corner room which was much quieter giving us a more pleasant experience. There was a dinner buffet included the evening we arrived as well as a breakfast buffet the next morning, both offering a variety of options. The food was good and was replenished frequently by friendly staff. Overall, an enjoyable stay. We will likely return when we stay in Richmond again.

Room was clean but the bathroom had mold in the shower and hair on the floor of the shower.

Drury is always great: big comfortable beds and pillows, immaculately clean, crazy good staff, indoor pool, fitness room, WASHER AND DRYER (bring change!), accept pets. One of the best things about Drury is that when you get there, you can just stay and relax if you arrive around 5 pm because they serve some buffet food (and some alcoholic beverages for parents), and then in the morning they serve buffet breakfast (which is a really great value for families), but … the food was a little too Sysco, a little too processed, like some giant soup thawed from a frozen bag. Drury, you gotta step up your game and serve some fresh real food. No one wants to eat that Tier 3 processed food. This was my first experience where I did not like the dinner or breakfast Drury served.

The Drury in Richmond, VA is a very clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. Its location is very near our family that we visit regularly. The location is perfect for easily connecting with major highways but also any restaurant and entertainment you could possibly want.

I did not get a handicap room. Im in a wheelchair and it was a shower with a 3 inch ledge to get in could not use the toilet, no grab bars and no room to transfer.

I could’ve swore when I went to Expedia to book this reservation for the room. It was $115 plus tax they charge me $149 plus tax so my payment was $174.41 so what happened here?

Jacuzzi was great, and onsite food options were fantastic.

This was my second time staying at this property. The first time was when my son and I were visiting colleges in the Richmond area, and we had such a great experience that we decided to return. The facility is always very clean, well-kept, and comfortable. It’s definitely my go-to place whenever I’m in the area.

We had an overnight visit for our daughter at RMC. We enjoyed our stay….great location….tons of shopping and dining around….great breakfast and superb staff!

Clean room. Great staff. Asked for a quite room. They got two out three right. Not near the ice machine or elevators But right up against the freeway - very sad. Would have changed rooms but reverted already settled in before we noticed. But I’ll be back - just more aware.

Friendly professional staff, check in was a breeze, room very clean. Staff went above and beyond to ensure we were fed. We got there prior to the restaurant opening however there was another event going on. The staff person guided us over to the bar area once she was done checking us in. We ordered food had a cocktail and checked in. By the way we were able to check in prior to 3 pm (about 30 mins early). Very pleased with everything!!

We travel to Richmond semi-frequently for soccer tournaments and always choose the Drury. The rooms are spacious enough for the whole family, the kids love the pool, and the free food and drinks are so welcome before and after a long day at the fields. Our only complaint is that the pullouts (like most pullouts) are not the most comfortable. But we pulled the mattress off the frame and put it on the floor and it was perfect for the kids!

Drury is probably our favorite hotel chain. The food is usually good- the kickback a great perk! Our stay was good with one exception- the door edges in our room (main door and bathroom door) were sticky, as was the handle on the bathroom door. That was kind of gross.

The first night it was closed because it was 109 degrees;deemed too hot. The 2nd and 3rd nights, it was like a tepid bath. Very disappointing that standard temp of 102-104 degrees was not maintained. Too many kids in hot tub when this happens and it’s not a good experience for adults. Is it company policy to cater the temperature towards children?

The refrigerator in the room did not work when asked at the front desk. They didn’t really seem to care. Also, I let the front desk know that my boyfriend had to fix the toilet in the bathroom and we asked them to take a look they never did. It took us four times fixing it just to get us through until the morning. Seemed more like camping then an evening in a nice hotel.
